ÖNEMLİ UYARILAR
Elektrikli cihaz kullanımında temel güvenlik tedbirlerine daima uyulmalıdır.
• Arzum Su Isıtıcı’nızın üzerinde yazılı voltajın, bulunduğunuz yerin voltajına
uygun olup olmadığına dikkat ediniz. Herhangi bir uyuşmazlık durumunda
meydana gelebilecek arızalardan firmamız sorumlu tutulamaz ve bu arıza
garanti kapsamı dışında işlem görür.
• Bu cihaz, ev ve benzeri uygulamalarda
kullanılmak üzere tasarlanmıştır:
- Dükkânlar, ofisler ve diğer çalışma

• Cihaz suya batırılmamalıdır.
• Güç kablosu zarar görmüşse, tehlikeyi
önlemek için imalatçı, servis acentası
veya benzer kalifiye elemanlar
tarafından değiştirilmelidir.

• Cihazınız evlerde kullanım içindir. Ticari yada sanayi amaçlı
kullanılmamalıdır.
• Cihazınızı çocukların erişemeyeceği bir yerde ve çocuklardan uzak
tutunuz.
• Cihazınızı mutlaka topraklı bir prize takınız. Cihazınıza zarar vermemek için
yetersiz akım sağlayan uzatma kabloları kullanmayınız. Uzatma kablosu
kullanıldığında yine topraklı ve kablo kesitinin 1mm² olmasına dikkat ediniz.
• Arzum Su Isıtıcı’nızı soba, ocak gibi direkt ısı kaynaklarının üzerine veya
çok yakınına yerleştirmeyiniz.
• Cihazınızı sağlam ve düz bir zemin üzerine yerleştiriniz. Masa veya tezgah
kenarına yerleştirmeyiniz. Küçük bir darbede cihazınız aşağıya düşebilir. Su
ısıtıcınızın sıcak su ile dolu olabileceğini unutmayınız.
• Kablonun masa ya da tezgahınızın kenarından sarkmamasına ya da
başka bir cihaz ile temas etmemesine dikkat ediniz.
• Cihazınızın kablo ve fişine zarar verecek hareketlerden kaçınınız.
Kablosundan tutarak taşımayınız, prizden çekmek için fişini tutunuz, ASLA
kablosundan çekmeyiniz.
• Cihazınıza temizliği ve bakımı dışında herhangi bir müdahalede
bulunmayınız. Cihazınızın kablosu ya da fişi arızalıysa, düşürülme ya da
başka bir sebepten dolayı zarar gördüyse kullanmayınız. Kendiniz tamir
etmeyiniz. Derhal Arzum Yetkili Servise başvurunuz.
• Cihazınızı daima sapından tutarak kaldırınız. Dış yüzeyi sıcak olabilir.

• Cihazınızı kullanmadığınız zaman veya
temizlerken cihazın fişini prizden çıkarın ve
temizlemeden önce iyice soğuduğundan emin
olunuz.
• Arzum Su Isıtıcı’nızı sadece kendi enerji iletim
tabanı ile kullanınız. Başka cihazlara ait enerji
iletim tabanı kullanmayınız.
• Su kaynadığında, cihazınız otomatik olarak
kendiliğinden kapanır. Ancak daha önce
kapatmak istediğinizde, açma / kapama
düğmesini kapalı “0” konuma getirebilirsiniz.
• Eğer suyunuzu tekrar kaynatmak istiyorsanız,
cihazınızı çalıştırmadan önce 15-20 sn.
bekleyiniz.
• Eğer cihazınız yanlışlıkla boşken veya içinde
yeterli miktarda su olmadığı zaman çalışır halde
bırakılırsa emniyet kapatma tertibatı enerjiyi
otomatik olarak kesecektir. Böyle bir durumda,
cihazınıza tekrar su doldurmadan tamamen
soğumasını bekleyiniz.
• Su kaynarken çıkan buhardan elinizi koruyunuz ve çocukların
kullanmasına izin vermeyiniz.
• Su kaynarken su ısıtıcınızın kapağını kesinlikle açmayınız. Su ısıtıcınızdaki
kaynamış suyu bardağa vb. bir kaba boşaltırken gereğinden fazla eğmeyiniz.
• Cihazınıza MAX işaretinden daha fazla su doldurmayınız.
• Cihazınızı, enerji iletim tabanını ve fişli kablosunu KESİNLİKLE suya yada
herhangi bir sıvıya daldırmayınız, bulaşık makinesinde yıkamayınız, banyoda
ve nem oranı yüksek benzeri mekanlarda kullanmayınız.
• Cihazınızın enerji iletim tabanını ve elektrik bağlantı uçlarını ASLA ıslak
bırakmayınız. Eğer ıslanmışsa kurulamadan önce mutlaka fişi prizden
çıkarınız ve tamamen kurumadan cihazınızı çalıştırmayınız.
• Cihazınıza su doldururken, cihazınızı enerji iletim tabanı üzerinden alınız.
• Cihazınızın dışını nemli bir bez ile temizleyebilirsiniz. Enerji iletim tabanını
temizlerken kuru olmasına dikkat ediniz.

UYARI
• Su ısıtıcısında su olmadan veya minimum (0,5 lt) sınırından az iken açma /
kapama düğmesi açılmamalıdır.
• Su ısıtıcısının içindeki su bittiğinde de açma / kapama düğmesi MUTLAKA
kapatılmalıdır.
SU ISITICISININ KULLANIMI
• Arzum Su Isıtıcı’nız ile sadece su kaynatabilirsiniz. Başka bir sıvı ya da
solüsyon kullanmayınız.
• İlk kullanımdan önce ısıtıcınızın içerisini su ile
yıkayınız,, daha sonra MAX su seviyesine kadar
doldurun. Cihazınız otomatik kapanıncaya kadar
suyu kaynatın.
• Suyu dökün ve cihazınızı soğumaya bırakınız.
• Bu işlemi yaparken suyun maksimum
seviyede olmasına dikkat ediniz.
• Su kaynatıldıktan sonra, suyun sertlik derecesine göre kaynamış suda
pudramsı tortu oluşması normaldir. Bu durum sudan kaynaklanır ve insan
sağlığına herhangi bir zararı yoktur.
• Cihazınızın açma / kapama düğmesi açık
“I” iken, su ısıtıcınızın kapağı MUTLAKA kapalı
konumda olmalıdır.
• Açma / kapama düğmesini “I“ konumuna
getirerek açınız. İkaz lambası yanacak ve su
ısınmaya başlayacak, su kaynadığında açma
/ kapama düğmesi otomatik olarak atacak ve
kapalı konumuna geçecektir.
• Eğer arzu ederseniz kaynatma fonksiyonunu
durdurmak için açma / kapama düğmesini kapalı
“0” konuma getirebilirsiniz.
• Su doldururken cihazınızı enerji iletim
tabanından MUTLAKA çıkarınız. Bu şekilde
suyun tablaya dökülmesini önlemiş olursunuz.

• Su ısıtıcınıza daima min. (0,5 lt) ya da max. (1,7 lt) seviyeleri arasında su
doldurunuz. Minimum seviyenin altındaki suyu kaynatmaya çalışmanız,
cihazın erken kapanmasına, maksimum seviyenin üzerindeki suyu
kaynatmaya çalışmanız suyun taşmasına neden olabilir.
• Cihazınızı kullanmadığınız zamanlarda açma / kapama düğmesi kapalı
“O” olmak şartı ile bu ünitenin mutfakta devamlı olarak prize takılı kalması
kolaylık sağlayacaktır.
TEKRAR ÇALIŞTIRMA
• Eğer suyunuzu tekrar kaynatmak istiyorsanız, cihazınızın yeterince
soğuduğundan emin olunuz. Eğer açma / kapama düğmesi otomatik
olarak “0” kapalı konumuna geliyorsa, “I” açma konumuna getirmek için
zorlamayınız. Aksi takdirde cihazınıza zarar verebilirsiniz.
TEMİZLEME
• Cihazınızı temizlemeden önce dikkat edilecek
hususlar bölümünü MUTLAKA okuyunuz.

CİHAZINIZIN SOĞUMASINI BEKLEYİNİZ.
• Su ısıtıcınızda bulunan suyu boşaltınız ve dışını
kuru veya nemli bir bezle siliniz.
• Cihazınızın enerji iletim tabanını ve su ısıtıcınızı KESİNLİKLE suya
daldırarak veya bulaşık makinesinde yıkayarak temizlemeyiniz.
• Cihazınızın hiçbir aksesuvarını sert ve kimyasal temizleyiciler (çamaşır
suyu, tuz ruhu vb.) kullanarak temizlemeyiniz.
Su Filtresini Temizleme
• Su filtresi ağzın iç kısmında bulunmaktadır. Bu filtre suda bulunabilecek
kireci ve yabancı maddeleri tutar.
• Su filtresi her kullanımdan sonra suya
tutularak ve yumuşak bir fırça ile temizlenmelidir.
• Su filtresi üzerinde aşırı miktarda kireç birikmiş
ise;
- Su filtresini bir kaba koyun ve kabı beyaz
sirke (veya sitrik asit) ile doldurun,
- Yarım saat bekletin,

- Sonra su filtresini tüm kireç ve sirke izleri temizlenene kadar sıcak suya
tutun.
• Temizleme sıklığı cihazı kullanma sıklığına ve cihazın bulunduğu ortama
(tozlu ortamlar gibi) bağlıdır.
• Su filtresini temizlerken KESİNLİKLE bulaşık deterjanı veya özel kireç
temizleyiciler kullanmayınız.
Kireçlenmeyi Giderme
• Su ısıtıcınız içinde oluşan kireçlenmeyi
periyodik olarak gidermek hijyen ve enerji
tasarrufu açısından önemlidir.
• Zamanla kullanılan suyun içerisinde
bulunan kireç, ısıtıcı tabanı üzerinde birikip
yanarak kahverengi bir kat oluşturarak
ısıtıcınızın verimini düşürecektir.
• Yumuşak kireçlenme fırça ile kolayca
temizlenebilir (bu işlemi yapmadan önce fişi
prizden çekmeyi unutmayınız).
• Tortulanmış sert kireçlenmeyi ise piyasadan satın alınabilecek ev aletleri
için satılan kireç çözücüler veya sirke ile temizleyebilirsiniz.
• Kireç çözücü ile temizlemek için; cihazınızda bir miktar suyu kaynattıktan
sonra, kireç çözücüyü kaynamış suyun içine karıştırınız. Bir süre bekledikten
sonra ısıtıcınızı 2-3 dk. daha kaynatarak içini boşaltınız ve 2-3 kez temiz su
ile yıkayınız.
• Beyaz sirke ile temizlemek için; cihazınızı yarım litre beyaz sirke ile
doldurarak 1 saat bekletiniz, daha sonra sirkeyi boşaltıp cihazınızı 2-3 kez
temiz su ile yıkayınız.
• Sitrik asit ile temizlemek için; cihazınızda yarım litre su kaynattıktan
sonra üzerine 25 gram sitrik asit ilave ediniz ve 15 dakika bekletiniz. Daha
sonra ısıtıcıyı boşaltıp temiz su ile 2-3 kez yıkayınız. Gerekirse bu işlemi
tekrarlayınız.
Sitrik asit kullanırken daima su ekleyiniz, susuz temizlemeyiniz.

well is one of those offered to you to make life easier for you.
In order to obtain utmost output from your appliance, please read carefully
this user’s manual and save it for further use.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using an electric appliance the basic safety measures should always
be observed.
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on the Arzum Kettle corresponds
with the mains voltage in your home. Our company shall not be held liable
for any failures owing to any discrepancy and such failures shall not be
covered by the guarantee.
• This appliance is intended to be used
in household and similar applications
such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops,
offices and other working
environments;
- Farm houses;
- By clients in hotels, motels and
other residential type environments;
- Bed and breakfast type
environments.
• This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and above

• Your device is for household use only. Do not use outdoors for
commercial or industrial purposes.
• Keep your appliance away from and out of reach of the children.
• Plug your device to a grounded socket without fail. To prevent harming
your appliance do not use extension cords. When using extension cords,
make sure to use grounded socket, with the cable cross section of 1mm².
• Do not place the Arzum Kettle over or near direct heat sources such as
hot gas, electric burner, or heating oven.
• Ensure that the water heater is placed on a firm and flat surface. Do
not put it on the edge of a table or bench. The least blow or knock may
overturn it. Do not forget that it may be full of hot water.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table counter or touch any other
appliances.

• Avoid actions that may harm or damage the cord or plug of your device.
Do not carry your appliance by holding from the cord. To unplug the heater,
hold the plug and NEVER pull by the cord.
• Never interfere with your appliance except for the purposes of cleaning
and maintenance. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner, such as by dropping down, etc. Do not attempt to repair it by
yourself. Call immediately a Arzum Authorized
Service.
• Always hold your appliance by its handle. Its
outer surface may be hot.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow it to cool down before cleaning
the appliance.
- Use your Arzum Kettle with its own power
base unit only. Do not place it on those
belonging to any other appliance.
- The kettle will switch off automatically when
the water reaches boiling. However, if you want
to switch off before boiling you can do this
manually turning the ON/OFF switch to the
position “0”.
• If you wish to re-boil the water, allow it to cool
down for about 15-20 seconds before starting
your appliance.
• If the kettle ever runs dry while operating, a
safety cut-off device will automatically cut the power off. In such a case,
you must allow it to cool down completely before refilling with cold water.
• Avoid contact with steam to be ejected from spout when the water is
boiling, and do not let children to use the appliance.
• Never open the lid while the water is boiling. Always take care to pour
boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle to fast.
• Do not fill above MAX mark.
• Never immerse the appliance, power base unit, or electric plug in water or
other liquids, nor wash in a washing dish machine, nor use in bathroom or
any other places with a high rate of moisture.

• Never leave the power base unit and electrical connection ends of your
device in a damp state. If wetted, unplug before drying and no not operate
the appliance before having it dried completely.
• When filling with water remove the kettle from its power base unit.
• You can clean the outer surface of the kettle with a damp cloth. Make
sure that the power base unit is completely dry when cleaning.
WARNING
• Do not open the ON/OFF switch when the kettle does not contain water,
or filled with water below the minimum (0,5 Lt. limit.)
• When the water is finished inside of the kettle the ON/OFF switch must
be turned off.
USING THE KETTLE
• Do not use the kettle for any other purposes other than boiling water. Do
not fill with any other liquids or solutions.
• If the kettle is being used for the first time,
clean it before operation and pour away the first
boiled water and refill, repeating this process
2-3 times. Ensure that the water is filled up to
the MAX point. Boil the water until the appliance
is switched off automatically.
• Pour away the water and allow your appliance
to cool down.
• Make sure that the water is filled up to the maximum level.
• After boiling the water, some powder-like sediment may form due to the
hardness of the water. This is quite natural and has no adverse effects
whatsoever on human health.
• With the ON/OFF switch turned on “I”, the lid of
the kettle MUST be closed.
• Turn the main switch (on/off switch) to
the position “I“. Indicator light will turn on and
the water will begin to get warm. When the
water reaches boiling the kettle will switch off
automatically and the main switch will spring
back to the original position.

• If you desire to stop the boiling function you
can turn the main switch (on/off switch) to the
position “0”.
• When filling the kettle with water, ALWAYS
remove the appliance from its power base unit.
By doing so, you can prevent the water from
pouring on the table.
• Do not fill with less than 0.5 liter of water (less
than “MIN” indication) or more than 1,7 liter of
water (more than “MAX” indication).
If you attempt to boil a quantity of water below the minimum level or above
the maximum level, the appliance may switch off rather early or the boiling
water may eject from the spout, respectively.
• When not in use, provided that the main switch is turned off “O”, it would be
convenient to allow the appliance to stay continuously plugged in the kitchen.
SWITCHING ON AGAIN
• If you want to re-boil the water make sure that your appliance has
cooled down sufficiently. Should the on/off switch turn to the position “0”
automatically, do not force it to the position “I”. Otherwise, you may damage
to your appliance.
CLEANING
• Before cleaning your appliance, first ALWAYS
read the instructions in the section “Important
Safeguards”.
BEFORE CLEANING TURN OFF “0” THE MAIN
SWITCH (ON/OFF SWITCH), UNPLUG FROM
OUTLET, AND ALLOW ITTO COOL DOWN.
• Discharge the water from the kettle, and wipe
the outside of it thoroughly with a dry or damp cloth.
• NEVER immerse the power base unit and the kettle into water, nor wash
them in a washing dish machine.
• Avoid using abrasive and chemical cleaning agents (liquid bleach,
hydrochloric acid, etc.) in cleaning any accessories of the appliance.

Cleaning the Water Filter
• Water filter is placed on the inner side of the
spout. It holds foreign matters, limes, and scales,
which may be contained in the water.
• After each use, the water filter should be held
under running water, and cleaned with a soft
brush.
• If excessive amounts of lime and scale have accumulated on the filter.
- Place the water filter in a vessel filled with the vinegar (or citric acid).
- Let the vinegar remain inside the vessel for half an hour.
- Then, hold the water filter under current of hot water until any remaining
scale and vinegar are removed.
• Cleaning frequency depends upon the area (such as dusty) in which the
kettle is used.
• In cleaning the water filter NEVER use dishwashing detergents or special
descaling agents.
Descaling
• It is important the kettle is descaled regularly as appropriate, for the
hygiene and energy saving purposes.
• Limes and scales contained in the used
water will form a brown layer on the heating
base, reducing the effectiveness of your
appliance.
• Light formation of limes and scales can
be easily removed with a brush (do not
forget to unplug the appliance before doing
so).
• The descaling agents sold and available
on the market to use on household utensils as well as the vinegar can be
used for removing the collected hard scales.
• To clean your kettle with a descaling agent: Once you have boiled some
quantity of water in the kettle add the descaling agent and mix them. Then,
boil for 2-3 minutes more, empty the kettle, and rinse the inside of it 2-3
times repeatedly.
• To clean with ordinary vinegar: Fill your kettle with half a liter of ordinary
vinegar and wait for one hour. Then, pour away the vinegar and rinse it 2-3

times repeatedly with clean water.
• To clean with citric acid: Once you have boiled half a liter of water, add
25 grams of citric acid and allow it to wait for 15 minutes. Then, empty
the kettle and rinse it 2-3 times repeatedly with clean water. Repeat this
process, if necessary. Always add water when using citric acid, and do not
clean without water.
