Thank you for having selected the Arzum branded samovar. This
product is also one of the products which we have provided for you in
order to make life easier.
Please read carefully this user’s manual in order to get the best
performance from your product, and keep it for your further reference.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on Arzum Kallavi Samovar
corresponds with the voltage in your home. Our company shall not be
held liable for any failures owing to any discrepancy and such failures
shall not be covered by the guarantee.
• This appliance is intended to
be used in household and similar
applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops,
offices and other working
environments;
- Farm houses;
• By clients in hotels, motels
and other residential type
environments;

concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the

• Children shall not play with the
appliance.
• There is no inconveniency for
using the device far up 2000 or
above meters.
• Connect your appliance to a grounding plug absolutely. To prevent
harming your appliance, do not use extension cords that supply
insufficient current.
• Keep away your appliance from direct heat sources as hot stove,
burner or very close to a heated oven.
• Use your appliance on a durable and smooth surface. Do not place it to
the edge of table or counter. Your appliance may fall down in case of any
small impact. Do not forget that your kettle can be full of hot water.
• Pay attention that the cable should not dangle from edge of your table
or counter or should not contact with another appliance.
• Avoid actions that may damage cord and plug of your appliance. Do not
move the appliance by holding its cord, hold its plug in order to unplug,
NEVER pull from its cord.
• Do not make any intervention other than cleaning and maintenance
of your appliance. If cable or plug of your appliance is out of order or
damaged because of dropping or another reason, in case of any fault, do
not operate your appliance. Do not repair it by yourself; take it to Arzum
Authorized Service. Pay attention to use only original spare parts in
your appliance.
• Exterior surface of your appliance gets hot during the use, therefore
avoid touching the parts of your appliance other than its handle and
power button.

• Unplug your appliance when you do not use it. Make sure that it is
cooled down properly before performance of cleaning and maintenance.
• Protect your hand from steam which emerges while water is boiling,
and do not allow children to use your appliance.
• While there is no water in the heater or it is not used, on/off button
ALWAYS should be in off position.
CAUTION: After water boils, your tea urn will provide energy saving
by passing into keeping warm position automatically. When you refill
water, it will start to boil water automatically again, and when the water
boils, it will pass into keeping warm position automatically again. If you
would like to turn off your appliance completely, turn off your appliance
by pressing the power button.
• If your appliance is left in operating state by mistake while it is empty or
there is not enough water inside it, safe shut-off assembly will turn off
power automatically. In such a case, wait for your appliance to cool down
completely before refilling it with water. You should unplug network cable
and plug the cable again for operation.
• Pay attention that water which you ll into water heater tank should
not exceed maximum water level.
WARNING: You can boil only water in the water heater tank. NEVER use
any other liquid or solution.
• While power button of your appliance is open, the pot should ALWAYS
be available on the water heater tank. Otherwise, although water is
boiling, your appliance will delay switching to energy saving.
• NEVER immerse water heater tank of your appliance into water or any
liquid, do not wash it in the dishwashing machine, and do not use it in the
bathroom or in any similar locations with high humidity rate.
• Pay attention not to wet cable and electrical terminals of your
appliance and never leave wet. If it gets wet, never operate your
appliance by plugging before drying it.
• Use your appliance as recommended and for its intended purpose.
• Instructions for normal cleaning of appliances after use and not
immersing in water for cleaning mean that the appliance should not be
immersed in water.
• Use your appliance as recommended and for its intended purpose.
• If power cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer,
service agent or similar qualified staff in order to avoid the danger.
WARNING: NEVER operate your appliance while there is no water in the
water heater tank or water level is under 0 ,5 lt.
IMPORTANT:
• Different from other tea urns, it is sufcient to operate your appliance
with a single button. Your appliance passes into boiling or keeping warm
position automatically according to temperature of water inside it.
• Your appliance will perform boiling process in a short time and pass into
keeping warm position automatically. Your appliance will operate in the
minimum power level in the keeping warm position and will provide 90 %
energy saving.
• While waiting in boiling state, as heating is minimum, existing water can
wait as ready for long period without evaporation and finishing.
USING YOUR SAMOVAR
• Before rst use, rinse your water heater with cold water several times
and then, ll water up to MAX water level and boil water until your
appliance turns off automatically. Pour this water which you have boiled,
and rinse inside with cold water. After you repeat this process for 2-3
times, leave your appliance to cool down. While this operation is made,
water should be in the maximum level. Wash and rinse top teapot and
tea filter with warm soapy water.
• Fill water heater tank of your appliance with water according to desired
quantity of water in consideration of min-max lines.
• Always ll water between min. (0,5 lt) or max. (3 lt) levels into the water
heater tank. Attempt to boil water under minimum level can cause early
closure of your appliance; attempt to boil water over maximum level can
cause the water to overflow.
• Remove the tea lter by opening teapot lid and after enough tea is put
into filter and some cold water is poured on it, place it into the teapot and
close the teapot lid.
• After the intermediate lid is closed onto water heater tank, place the
teapot, which you have prepared, onto the intermediate lid.

• Plug in your appliance.
• Turn on your
appliance by pressing
power button. Warning
light will be white and
it will indicate start
of heating process.
Warning light will
be white during the
period of heating process.
• When boiling process is completed, “beep” will sound for 5 times and
your appliance will switch into keeping warm position automatically and
provide energy saving. When your appliance switches into keeping warm
position, warning light will also turn into red light.
• In order to perform brewing process easily, remove drip tray. Fill your
teapot from tap of tea urn with water according to desired quantity of
tea to be brewed and then, put it into place again.
• In order to avoid movement of drip tray,
insert it into specially designed field. Thanks
to drip tray, the water, which flows from tap or
overflows from glass, is prevented to pour onto
the counter. Flowing water is stored in the drip
tray tank. When you want to discharge it, you
can remove and clean it practically.
• If water level falls under minimum value, water
will not flow from the tap. In this case, you can
add water into your water heater. Your water heater will detect that water
cools and then, will switch to water boiling position automatically.
• When you do not want to operate your
appliance, turn off your appliance by pressing
power button.
NOTE: While teapot is taken for filling tea, pull
it by slipping its base from inserted surface.
Thus, droplets which accumulate on the base
will be poured into water heater.
WATER HEATING
• You can use Arzum Kallavi Samovar for water heating and boiling when
necessary.
• Therefore, ll water heater tank with water between maximum (3 lt) a
n d minimum (0,5 lt) limits as well as in preparation of tea. Place empty
teapot onto top lid and operate your appliance by pressing power button.
• After your appliance boils water in a short time, it will switch to energy
saving. While your water heater is left in operating state in this manner
as long as it is maintained, your boiling water will be ready continuously.
• Even if you add cold water, it will switch to boiling position automatically,
and then, it will boil the water in a short time and will provide energy
saving by switching to keeping warm position.
• When you do not want to operate your appliance, you can turn off your
appliance by pressing power button.
SAFETY SYSTEM
• When the water boils, your appliance switches to energy saving
(keeping warm position) automatically.
• Waterless Operation Protection: Your appliance has been protected
with two thermostats in terms of safety. If you operate your appliance
while there is no water in your appliance, your appliance will turn off
automatically. In this case, you should unplug network cable and plug in
again for operation.
• When you leave your appliance in operating state without using for 4
hours, your appliance will turn off automatically. In this case, you should
unplug network cable and plug in again for operation.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before cleaning your appliance, ALWAYS read
the section of Important Safeguards.
• ALWAYS TURN OFF YOUR APPLIANCE
BY PRESSING ON/OFF BUTTON BEFORE
CLEANING, UNPLUG AND WAIT FOR IT TO
COOL DOWN.
• You can wash teapot and tea lter of your tea
urn by hand or in the dishwashing machine.
• Remove teapot and
intermediate lid in
order to discharge
water in the water
heater tank. Unplug
network cable.
Discharge your tea
urn carefully from the
side of tap by holding
it from its handle. Wipe exterior surface of your tea urn with a dry or
damp cloth. NEVER clean your appliance by immersing it into water or in
the dishwashing machine.
• Never clean any accessory of your appliance by using hard and
chemical cleaners (bleacher, hydrochloric acid etc.) except cleaners
specially prepared for such appliances.
• NEVER wet cable and plug of your appliance. If it gets wet, unplug it
and dry cable and plug properly.
DECALCIFICATION
• Periodical decalcication within water heater
tank is important in terms of hygiene and
energy saving.
• Discharging water which remains inside your
appliance after each use and using water
which contains less mineral instead of hard
water will reduce the decalcification.
• Limescale within the water used will
accumulate and burn on the base of heater in the course of time and will
create a brown layer and reduce the efficiency of your heater.
• Soft calcication on the base can be easily cleaned with a brush. (Do
not forget to unplug your appliance before performing this operation.)
• You can remove deposited hard calcication with vinegar or decalciers
which are sold for household appliances on the market.
• For cleaning with decalcier; after boiling some water in your appliance,
mix the decalcier into boiled water. After waiting for a while, boil your
heater for more 2-3 min. and discharge the inside, and rinse with clean
water for 2-3 times.
• For cleaning with white vinegar; keep waiting for 1 hour by lling your
appliance with half a liter of white vinegar and then, discharge the vinegar
and rinse your appliance with clean water for 2-3 times.

GARANTİ ŞARTLARI
1. Garanti süresi, malın teslim tarihinden itibaren başlar ve 3 yıldır.
2. Malın bütün parçaları dahil olmak üzere tamamı garanti kapsamındadır.
3. Malın ayıplı olduğunun anlaşılması durumunda tüketici, 6502 sayılı
Tüketicinin Korunması Hakkında Kanunun 11 inci maddesinde yer alan;
a- Sözleşmeden dönme,
b- Satış bedelinden indirim isteme,
c- Ücretsiz onarılmasını isteme,
ç- Satılanın ayıpsız bir misli ile değiştirilmesini isteme,
haklarından birini kullanabilir.
4. Tüketicinin bu haklardan ücretsiz onarım hakkını seçmesi durumunda
satıcı; işçilik masrafı, değiştirilen parça bedeli ya da başka herhangi bir
ad altında hiçbir ücret talep etmeksizin malın onarımını yapmak veya
yaptırmakla yükümlüdür. Tüketici ücretsiz onarım hakkını üretici veya
ithalatçıya karşı kullananilir. Satıcı, üretici ve ithalatçı tüketicinin bu hakkını
kullanmasından müteselsilen sorumludur.
5. Tüketicinin, ücretsiz onarım hakkını kullanması halinde malın;
- Garanti süresi içinde tekrar arızalanması,
- Tamiri için gereken azami sürenin aşılması,
- Tamirinin mümkün olmadığının, yetkili servis istasyonu, satıcı, üretici
veya ithalatçı tarafından bir raporla belirlenmesi durumlarında;
tüketici malin bedel iadesini, ayıp oranında bedel indirimini veya imkan
varsa malın ayıpsız misli ile değiştirilmesini satıcıdan talep edebilir.
Satıcı, tüketicinin talebini reddedemez. Bu talebin yerine getirilmemesi
durumunda satıcı, üretici ve ithalatçı müteselsilen sorumludur.
6. Malın tamir süresi 20 iş gününü, binek otomobil ve kamyonetler için
ise 30 iş gününü geçemez. Bu süre, garanti süresi içerisinde mala ilişkin
arızanın yetkili servis istasyonuna veya satıcıya bildirimi tarihinde, garanti
süresi dışında ise malın yetkili servis istasyonuna teslim tarihinden itibaren
başlar. Malın arızasının 10 iş günü içerisinde giderilememesi halinde üretici
veya ithalatçı; malın tamiri tamamlanıncaya kadar, benzer özelliklere
sahip başka bir malı tüketicinin kullanımına tahsis etmek zorundadır. Malın
garanti süresi içerisinde arızalanması durumunda, tamirde geçen süre
garanti süresine eklenir.
7. Malın kullanma kılavuzunda yer alan hususlara aykırı kullanılmasında
kaynaklanan arızalar garanti kapsamı dışındadır.
8. Tüketici, garantiden doğan haklarının kullanılması ile ilgili olarak
çıkabilecek uyuşmazlıklarda yerleşim yerinin bulunduğu veya tüketici
işleminin yapıldığı yerdeki Tüketici Hakem Heyetine veya Tüketici
Mahkemesine başvurabilir.
9. Satıcı tarafından bu Garanti Belgesinin verilmesi durumunda, tüketici
Gümrük ve Ticaret Bakanlığı Tüketicinin Korunması ve Piyasa Gözetimi
Genel Müdürlüğüne başvurabilir.
