CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD
Thisfire pit isa combustion appliance. All combustion
appliances produce carbonmonoxide(CO) during the
combustion process. This product isdesigned to produce
extremely minute, non-hazardous amounts of CO if used
and maintained inaccordance with all warnings and
instructions. DO notblock air flow into or out of thefire pit.
Carbonmonoxide(CO) poisoning produces flu-like
symptoms, watery eyes, headaches, dizziness, fatigue
and possibly death. Youcan't see itand youcan't
smell it. It' s an invisible killer. If these symptoms are
present during operation of this product get fresh air
immediately!
For outdoor use only.
Never use inside house, or other unventilated or
enclosed areas.
Thisfire pitconsumes air(oxygen). Do not use in
unventilated or enclosed areas to avoid endangering
your life.

During operation, this product canbe a source of
ignition. Keep fire pit area clear andfree from

content. Minimum fire pit clearancesfrom combustible
materials: two(2) feet from the sides&two(2) feet
from therear, 6 feet from ceiling.

Propane vapors are heavier thanair and can

lighted, nearflame, pilot lights, other ignition sources
or while fire pitis hotto touch.
Thefire pitisred hotduring useand can ignite
flammables too close to the burner. Keep flammables
at least 2feet from sides& 2feet from rear,6feet
from ceiling.Keep gasoline and other flammable liquids
and vaporswell away from fire pit.
Store thepropane cylinder outdoors inawell ventilated
space outof reachof children. Never store the propane
cylinder in an enclosed area (house, garage, etc.). If
fire pit is to be stored indoors, disconnect the propane
cylinderfor outdoor storage and allow the fire pit to fully
cool down prior to moving indoors.

The installation must conform with local codes or, in the absence of all applicable local codes, including,
without limitation, with the National Fu el Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFP A 54; International Fuel Gas Code;
Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1; or Propane Storage and Handling Code, B149.2, as
applicable.
The appliance and its appliance main gas valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system
during anypressure testingof that system at test pressuresin excessof 1/2psi (3.5kPa).
The appliance must be isolated from the gas supply piping system by closing its equipment shutoff valve
duringany pressuretestingof the gas supplysystem at test pressureequal toor less than1/2psi (3.5kPa).
The appliance area must be kept clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable
vapors andliquids.
Do not use this appliance if any part has been damaged or under water. Immediately call a qualified service

manual. Inspect the burner before eachuse of the appliance. The burner must be replacedprior to the

A self contained LP-gas cylinder for use with this appliance must have a capacity of
20 lbs. and must be equipped with a Type 1 connector and an OP D (overfill
protection device).See Figure 1.
The LP-gas supply cylinder to be used must be constructed and marked in
accordance with the specification for LP- gas cylinders of the U.S. Department of
Transportation (DOT) or the National Standard of Canada, CAN/CSA-B339, Cylinder,
Sphere and Tubesforthe Transportationof Dangerous Goods.
The cylindersupplysystemmust be arranged forvapor withdrawal.
The cylinder used mustincludea collar to protectthe cylindervalve.
This appliance shallbe used onlyoutdoorsin a well-ventilatedspace
andshall notbe used in a building,garage or any other enclosedspace.
When this applianceis not is use, the gas must be turned offatthe
supplycylinder.
Storageof this appliance indoors is permissibleonly if
the cylinder is disconnectedandremovedfromthe appliance.
Cylinders must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area out of the
reach of children .Disconnected cylinders must have threaded valve plugs tightly
installed and must not be stored in a building, garage or any other enclosed areas.
Storing cylinders indoors or in poorly ventilated spaces outdoors can result in
serious bodily injury and/or death.

BATTERIES
Make sure the control knob is in the “OFF” position.
Unscrew the push button cap on the ignition module
located on the control panel to access the battery
compartment. The ignition module requires one AA size
battery.

LIGHTINGINSTRUCTIONS
ToLight
1. Unscrew the ignition button on the burner to see if the battery (B) has already been placed inside.
If the battery (B) is not already within the ignition button on the burner, please place the battery
(B) into the ignition button slot.
2. Make sure the ignition control knob is turned to the “off” position. Connect propane gas tank and
slowly open the valve on the propane gas tank by turning the knob counterclockwise.
3. Press in and turn the ignition control knob to the “pilot” position; hold down for 1 minute.
4. Push the ignition button, while still holding down control knob down, to generate a spark.
5. Check to see if there is a pilot light through the glass tube (C). If there is, turn the control knob to
the “low” position.
6. For maximum flame height and heat output, turn the control knob to the “high” position.
To Extinguish
1. Push and turn the ignition control knob clockwise to the “off” position.
2. Turnthe propane gas tank valve on the gas tank to close the gas supply and disconnect the
propane gas tank

outside, in a well ventilated area and free of any debris and is not in contact with or near any
people, animals, materials or structures. Failure to adhere to the above

Use a soft brush to get rid of the mild stains, loosedirt and soil after the burneris completely
cooled down.Wipe down with a soft cloth.

Harsh weather conditions maycause stubborn stains, discoloration and possiblyrust pitting.

Permanent damage mayoccur if powderor solvent comes in contact with paintedor plastic
components on this heatingunit.

Keep the heatingunit stored awayfromdirect sunlight.

If storingthis unit inside, disconnect the propane gastank fromthe gasvalve.

Not using manufacturer approvedor suppliedparts/accessories may result in a defective
