Oven feature glossary
You don’t have to risk burning

This function comes in handy
for example when adding ingre-
dients. It also makes it easier to lift heavy

lifts out with no tools requi-
red, for easy cleaning. O3 O5
The O850 has a storage
drawer with room for baking
plates and trays. You can also
use the drawer as a plate war-
mer when the oven is on.
An ASKO oven door never
gets really hot because it is ’air
conditioned’. The ventilator
fan blows air across the top
of the oven door, drawing hot
air away from the triple glazed door. Then
room-temperature air comes in through a
vent below the door and fills the void. This
technology also helps to keep the heat in
the oven, thus reducing the energy consu-
med during the cooking process.
Cer tain models have fan
grilling. This aids in the dist-
ribution of even heat and
speeds up the grilling process.

By using the timer function you
can relax while your dinner is in
the oven. A buzzer will tell you
when the set time is reached.
The meat sensor is a very
useful feature when cooking
a roast or f illet of beef in the
oven. Insert the meat sensor
and choose your desired tem-
perature and the oven will switch off when
the temperature is reached and give off an
audible signal. (O850S, O870S)
ASKO has a powerful and
accurate fan -forced circulation
of hot air to guarantee an even
temperature, ensuring efficient
cooking even with two trays in
the oven. This feature can reduce the coo-
king time and the temperature needed.
Some of ASKO’s ovens are
side hinged to give you the
full benef it of having a door
at the right working height.

oven is far more accessible
when you don’t have to stretch across the

As a safety feature the sup-
por ting runners accompany the
shelf when you pull it out. This
means that you will still have
both hands free to, for example,
turn a roast. (O3, O5)
The Infra system heats the
oven very quickly thanks to a
heat reflector above the grill
element. This ensures that the
heat is reflected back into the
oven where it is distributed
evenly and efficiently (O3, O5).
The door glass is removable
on ovens O3 and O5 to make
it even easier to clean.
A shield to protect the top
element in the oven protects
both you and your oven. No
more burns when using the
grill function and and you can-
not damage the element if you
accidentally hit it with a pot
or pan.
The temperature sensor
controls the selected tempe-
rature, as to maintain an even
heat distribution throughout
the oven cavity.
Controls that will offer you the
most precise way of cooking.
Simply choose a program and
the controls will automatically
select the correct heating ele-
ments and heating tempera-
ture. The controls also offer a simple one
dial solution to operate them.
