Description
The ACM250P is a 250 watt power amplifier with outputs for 4 ohms, 70 and 100 v olt line. It may be desk or rack
mounted but is packaged as self standing with rubber feet. The ACM250P features a flat screwdriver accessible
gain control on the rear panel.
Inputs
The ACM 250P feat ures two signal inputs. The unit has industry standard 3 pin XLR microphone sockets. Two line lev el
sockets are provided for bridged in/out connection.
Outputs
The ACM250P features 100 volt , 70 v olt and 4 ohm isolated t ransformer out puts.
Protection
Internal current limit ing protects the amplifier from both ov erload and overdrive conditions. The ACM 250P also
features protection in the form of excess temperature auto cut out. An in built auto temperature sensing fan will
turn on at a factory default level but in most situations, will nev er be required.

Architectural and Engineering Specifications
The 250 watt power amplifier shall be designed to run 100 v olt line audio syst ems. The unit shall also features a four
ohm output. The amplifier may be desk mounted as standard or rack mounted with the addition of an optional
rack mount kit.
The unit shall feature high temperature prot ection wit h front panel indication. An in built auto temperature sensing
fan shall cool the unit when required and automatically turn off again once the amplifier is running at the correct
temperature. The amplifier must be capable of deliv ering 250 watts into a fourty ohm inductiv e load with less than
0.5% dist ortion measured at 1kHz and with system hum and noise less than 74dB.
The amplifier shall be an Audio Telex model ACM 250P, manufactured in Australia.
