features include a9" wide Screen (16:9 Aspect Ratio) Liquid Crystal
Display (LCD) monitor anda DVD player. Theunit appliesthe latest
state ofthe art electronics and is designed for use in hotels, offices
or your home. Theunit is constructed toprovide years of reliable,
trouble-free service and is compact so that you cantake it with you
anywhereand is designed forquickand easyinstallation.Please read
theentire instructionmanual suppliedwith thisproductprior to using.
Thedocumentation will assist youinusing the system properlyto

DVDRegional Code - Your DVD player
has been designed to process regional
management information that is stored
on DVD discs. Theregional code for your player is1 (The U.S.,U.S.
Territories andCanada). OnlyDVDdiscs that haveregional codesof
1or ALL(for all regions) canbe played by your player.
Disc - Do not use irregularly shapeddiscs such asheart orstar-
shaped discs as they maycause theunitto malfunction. Do notstick
paper, tapeorglue onthe disc. Do notexpose the discto direct sun-
light or heat sources suchas hot air ducts. Do not touch the surface
ofdisc.Handle the discby its edge. Cleanthe discby wipingthedisc
from thecenter out with a cleaning cloth. Removethe disc from the
unit andstoreitinitscaseafterplaying. Some playback operationsof
discs maybeintentionallyfixedby software producers. Since this
unit plays discs accordingto the disc contents the software produc-
ersdesigned,someplayback features may not beavailable. Also
refer to the instructions suppliedwith the discs.

1. Powering the System Indoors (Refer to Figure 1)
Plugone endoftheACto DCadapter into theDCinputjackonthe
left side ofthe main unit, then plugthe otherend into the 100~240V
AC power receptacle.
2. Powering the System in a Car
Plugoneend ofthe DC Power adapter into the DC input jackon
theunit, thenplugthe other endinto the vehicle power outlet.

3.ToChargethe Built-in Battery
Plug oneend oftheACto DC adapter into theDCjack on the side
oftheplayer, asshownin Figure1, then plug theotherendintothe
100~240VACpoweroutlet. Makesurethatthe player spowerslide
switch is inthe “OFF/CHG.”position, the charge indicator will be
red. Once fullycharged, the Chg. LED indicator will turn off. Once
the indicator is off, removetheAC to DC adapter wall plug.
NOTE: Yournewbatterymust becharged a minimumof 8 hours
beforethe first usage. Each full rechargetakes approxi-
mately five hours andonefullcharge canprovidepower to
the player for approximately2 hours.

E. Vehicle Installation
Installing the DVD Player onto the Seat Back ina Car
(Refer to Figure 2)
1).Unfold the carrying bag, andplace the DVD playeronthebag
beneaththe elastic straps. Ensurethat the unit scornersare
secured bythe elasticstraps.
2).Securethe upper portionofthecarryingbag toheadrestsupport
barsusingthe headreststrap.Adjust the headreststrap untilthe
bag isfirmly secured.
3). Secure thelower portionofthe carrying bagto the vehicle seat
backusingthe seat backstrap. Adjust the seat backstrap until
the bagis firmlysecured.

G. Loading and Playing a Disc
a.Afterconnectingpower to theunit, applypower to the DVD player
bysliding the POWER ON/OFF switch to ON. The power indica-
tor will be green.
b.Open the disctray by slidingcover OPEN switch and place adisc
onto the tray with the labelside facing up.
c.Closethe tray by pressing thearea marked “PUSH TOCLOSE”.
The unit will load the disc and start playing.
d. Rotate VOLUME control to adjust the DVD player s volume.
e. Tostop playinga disc, press the STOPbutton.
f.To turn offtheDVD player, slide the POWER ON/OFF switchto
OFF.

ADVD isdividedinto sections calledtitlesand chapters. Whenyou
play a DVD,aroot menu ofthedisc will appearonthescreen ofyour
TV orMonitor. Thecontentsof themenu varyfrom disc todisc.Press
MENUduringplaybackto display themenu. SomeDVDs onlyallow
you to select disc playbackoptionsusingtheDVD root menu.
J. Display(Displaycontentsvary from discto disc.)
1.Playing Time and Remaining Time
a.During playbackpress theDISPLAY buttonto display thecurrent
TitleNumber(1), thetotalNumberofTitles (2), thecurrent Chap-
terNumber(3), the total NumberofChapters(4), and the elapsed
playingTime forthe title (5). The headingwill disappearautomati-
cally after 3 seconds ifno buttons are pressed.
b.PressDISPLAYbuttonagain todisplay theRemaining Timeof
the title. The headingwill disappear automatically in3 seconds.

3.Subtitle
Duringdisc playbackpress SUB button to select the subtitle
language youdesire*, with the current SubtitleLanguage Number
(1) and the totalNumber of SubtitleLanguages(2) displayed. If
there aremultiplelanguagespress SUBbutton againto select
another subtitle language. To turn subtitles OFF, press the SUB
button until ‘SUBTITLE OFF is displayed. The Subtitle display will
disappearautomaticallyiftheSUBbuttonisnotpressedagainwithin
3seconds.

During playbackofadisc, pressANGLEbuttonto displaythe avail-
able angles fordiscs containing multi-angles*, withthe currentangle

4.Audio
Duringplaybackpress AUDIO button to select the audio language
youdesire*, with the currentAudioChannelNumber(1)andthe
total number ofAudio Channels (2) displayed. PressAUDIO again
to select another audio language. The audio display will disappear
automatically ifthe AUDIO button is not pressed within3seconds.

5.Zoom
Duringplayback press ZOOM buttonto enlargethe picture by2x,
3x or4Xwiththecurrentzoommultiple.PressZOOM buttonone
time,thepicture will beenlarged2X. Press ZOOMbutton a second
time, the picture will be enlarged 3X. PressZOOMbutton athird
time,the picture will be enlarged 4X. Press ZOOMbutton a fourth
time, the picture will return to normal size.

K. Playing Audio CDs
Toplay an audio CD, simply load it ontothedisc tray and the CD
will start playbackautomatically. Press the DISPLAYbutton repeat-
edly on the remote control to viewdisc time information.The time
information is displayed in the the followingsequence:
CD Display Mode
Single Elapsed:The current track playingand the elapsed time on
that track appears on thescreen.
Single Remain:The current trackplayingand theamount of time
remainingon that trackappears on the screen.
Total Elapsed: The currenttrack playingand the total elapsed
time on the CD appears onthe screen.
Total Remain:The current trackplayingand the amount oftime
remaining on the CD appears on the screen.

1. Using the RepeatFeature
Thedefaultmode forthe Repeat featureis OFF. Pressing 1/ALL button
consecutively changes the repeat options:
•Repeat Track-repeats the track that is playing.
•RepeatAll - repeats the disc that is playing.
•Repeat Off
Asyou toggle through theoptions, the repeat optionchanges.The
selected repeat option loops repeatedly until you turn itoff.
2.A-B Repeat
a. During playbackpress A-B to set the StartingPoint A.
b. Press A-B asecond time to set the EndingPoint Band the
player willrepeatedly playthe part between Point Aand Point B.
c. Press A-B a third time to cancel A-B repeat and resumethe
normal playback.
3.Forward/Reverse Scan
a.During playbackpress uu to scanfoward at 2x,4x,8x,16x,32x
andnormal speed.
b. Duringplaybackpress tt to scan backward at 2x, 4x, 8x,16x,
32xand normal speed.
L. Playing JPEG Files
1) Loada JPEG discontothedisc tray.
2) Ascreen showingfolders or picturefiles contained on the disc
will bedisplayedautomaticallyafterloading.
3) Press UP, DOWN and ENTER button to select a folder or a
picture. Ifapicture is selected, photo slideshowwill start with the
selected picture.
4) Press the DOWNbutton to rotate the picture clockwise.
5) PresstheZOOM buttonto enlarge the picture sizeby 125%,
150%, 200% or zoomoutby 75%,50%andthenreturn tothe
original size. When the imageis enlarged, you can use the
navigationbuttonsto viewblockedpartsofthepicture.
6) Press UP button toreturn to the screen showingfolders or
picture files.
7) Duringslideshow, press STOPbutton to enter Thumbnail mode.
Press navigation buttonsandENTER buttonto select a picture
you want to start the slideshowwith.
8) Press PLAY/PAUSE button then theslideshowwill pause. Press
the button again to resume the slideshow playback.
