Sehr geehrter Kunde,
zunächst möchten wir Ihnen zum Erwerb Ihres Gerätes gratulieren.
Bitte lesen Sie die folgenden Anschluss- und Anwendungshinweise sorgfältig durch und befolgen Sie diese
um möglichen technischen Schäden vorzubeugen.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
1. Sollte es im Fahrzeuginneren sehr heiß sein, warten Sie mit dem Einschalten des Gerätes bis es sich
abgekühlt hat.
2. Das Bedienelement sollte immer in seiner Schutzhülle gelagert werden.
3. Dieses Gerät nur ist für eine an der Karosserie geerdete Batterie geiegnet. Kontrollieren Sie dies vor
dem Einbau.
4. Lautsprecherkabel dürfen während des Betriebes keinen Kurzschluss verursachen. Dieses kann den
Verstärker überlasten oder sogar durchbrennen lassen.
5. Setzen Sie das Bedienelement nicht vor dem Anschluss der Kabel ein.
Bedientasten am Gerät
1. Öffnen
Drücken Sie diese Taste, um das Bedienelement herunterzufahren. Sie können nun eine CD einlegen
oder durch der EJ-Taste auswerfen. Um das Bedienelement zu entfernen, drücken Sie dieses leicht
nach links und ziehen dann die rechte Seite nach vorne heraus.
2. SEL-Taste
a) Durch mehrmaliges Drücken können Sie folgende Einstellungen auswählen:
VOLUME -> BASS -> TREBLE -> BALANCE -> FADER
Die Einstellung können Sie durch Drehen des Lautstärkereglers vornehmen. Wenn Sie 5 Sek.
keine Taste drücken, wechselt das Gerät in den Normalmodus zurück.

BASS/TRE:
-07, -06,......,00,......+06,+07
BAL:

b) Wenn Sie die Taste länger als 2 Sek. gedrückt halten, aktivieren Sie die Einstellung folgender
Optionen:
TA (Suche/Alarm) -> PI (Ton/Ton aus) -> RETUNE (lang/kurz) -> MASK (DPI/alle) -> BEEP
(ein/aus) -> USER SET (flach/Klassik/Rock/Pop) -> VOL (LAST/DEFA) -> MONO/STEREO (nur m
FM-Betrieb) -> LOUD (ein/aus) -> LOCAL/DX (nur im FM-Betrieb) -> CLK (ein/aus) -> CLK

Die Einstellung können Sie durch Drehen des Lautstärkereglers vornehmen.
1) TA Suche/Alarm
TA Suche: Sollte der gewählte Sender keine Verkehrsinformationen übertragen, sucht sich
das Gerät automatisch einen Sender diese überträgt. Mittels RETUNE können Sie die Zeit
bestimmen, nach der ein Sender gesucht werden soll; RETUNE LONG für 150 Sek. und
RETUNE SHORT für 90 Sek.
TA Alarm: Wenn Sie diese Einstellung wählen, wird kein Sender automatisch gesucht. Es
ertönt ein Piepton, wenn keine Verkehrsinformationen vom gewählten Sender gesendet
werden.
2) PI Ton/Ton aus
PI Ton:
Wenn Sie zwischen Gebäude fahren, die eine Störung verursachen, gibt das Gerät ein
Klangsignal aus.
PI Ton aus:
Es wird bei o.g. Störung kein Tonsignal ausgegeben.
3) RETUNE lang/kurz
Mittels RETUNE können Sie die Zeit bestimmen, nach der ein Sender gesucht werden soll;
RETUNE LONG für 150 Sek. und RETUNE SHORT für 90 Sek.
4) MASK DPI/alle
MASK DPI: Maskiert AF mit verschiedenen PI.
MASK ALL: Maskiert AF mit verschiedenen PI und keinem RDS-Signal.
5) BEEP ein/aus
BEEP ein: Es ertönt ein Piepton von Sie eine Taste drücken.
BEEP aus: Der Piepton ist deaktiviert.
6) VOL LAST/DEFA
VOL LAST: Das Gerät hat beim Einschalten die gleiche Lautstärke wie beim Abschalten.
VOL DEFA: Drücken Sie SEL und AVOL wird angezeigt. Sie können nun mit dem
Lautstärkeregler eine Lautstärke festlegen, die bei jedem Einschalten eingestellt sein soll.
7) CLK ein/aus
CLK ON: Die Uhrzeit wird angezeigt wenn das Gerät abgeschaltet ist.
CLK OFF: Die Uhrzeit wird nicht angezeit.
3. Aus/Einschalten
Sie können das Gerät mit jedem Knopf außer der Öffnen-Taste einschalten. Es schaltet sich auch ein,
wenn Sie eine CD, SD-Karte oder einen USB-Stick einlegen.

5. Sendersuche
a) Radiobetrieb:
Wenn Sie >> oder << kurz drücken, ändern Sie die Frequenz. Halten Sie eine der Tasten länger
als 0,5 Sek. gedrückt, wird automatisch der nächste Sender gesucht.
6. Titel überspringen
b) CD, SD, USB-Wiedergabe:
Drücken Sie >> um zum nächsten Titel zu gelangen.
Drücken Sie << um zum Anfang des Titel zu gelangen.
Drücken Sie << um zum vorherigen Titel zu gelangen, wenn die Titel weniger als 2 Sek.
abgespielt wurde.
Halten Sie >> oder << um vor- bzw. zurückzuspulen.
7. Frequenzband
Im Radiomodus können Sie zwischen AM und FM wchseln:
FM1 -> FM2 -> FM3 -> MW1 -> MW2
8. Modustaste
Hier kann der Betriebsmodus geändert werden: Radio, CD, SD-Karte, USB, AUX. Je nachdem
welches Medium eingelegt ist.

9. Ton aus
Hierüber kann der Ton zeitweise ausgeschaltet werden. Drücken Sie MODE, SEL oder drehen Sie am
Lautsärkeregler um den Ton wieder einzuschalten.
10. APS (Automatische Sendersuche)
1) Wenn Sie APS drücken und halten, sucht das Gerät von der niedrigsten Frequenz an
Radiosender automatisch und die Signalstärke wird geprüft bis ein Suchdurchlauf beendet ist.
Die 6 Sendet mit dem besten Empfang werden automatisch auf den Speichertasten 1-6
abgelegt. Dieses können Sie auf jedem Frequenzband wiederholen.
2) Drücken Sie die Taste nur werden die voreingestellten Sender noch einmal kontrolliert werden
sollen.
Wenn Sie MP3 von CD, USB oder SD-Karte wiedergeben können Sie mit dieser Taste einen Titel
wählen. Drücken Sie APS, es wird TRK 000 angezeigt. Drehen Sie den Lautstärkeregler um die erste
Ziffer einzustellen. Drücken nun wieder APS und stellen Sie die zweite Ziffer ein. Wiederholen Sie
dieses auch bei der letzten Ziffer. Um den Titel aufzurufen, drücken Sie SEL.
11. Voreingestellte Sender, Widergabe/Pause, INT, RPT, RDM
a) Radiobetrieb:
Wählen Sie die voreingestellten Sender über die Zifferntasten 1-6. Um einen neuen Sender zu
speichern, drücken und halten Sie die gewünschte Ziffer für 2 Sek.
b) CD, SD, USB-Wiedergabe:
1) Drücken Sie Wiedergabe/Pause im betrieb um die Wiedergabe zu pausieren. Drücken Sie die
Taste erneut um die Wiedergabe fortzusetzen. Halten Sie die Taste für länger als 0,5 Sek.
gedrückt um zum ersten Titel des Mediums zu wechseln.
2) Drücken Sie INT und es werden die ersten 10 Sek. alle Titel auf dem Medium angespielt.
Drücken Sie INT erneut um die Funktion abzuschalten.
3) Drücken Sie RPT, es erscheint RPT im Display und der aktuelle Titel wird wiederholt. Drücken
Sie während der MP3-Wiedergabe RPT erneut und es wird der aktuelle Ordner wiederholt.
Es wird dann RPT ABM im Display angezeigt. Durch einen erneuten Druck wird die Funktion
deaktiviert und RPT OFF im Display angezeigt.
4) Drücken Sie RDM um alle Titel in zufälliger Reihenfolge abzuspielen.
c) Während der MP3-Wiedergabe:
Drücken Sie die Zifferntasten 5 und 6, um 10 Titel vor- oder zurückzuspringen.
12. AF (Alternativfrequenz)
Durch mehrmaliges Drücken können Sie folgende AF-Einstellung vornehmen:
Aus (AF-Symbol aus)
AF mit RDS (AF-Symbol ein)
AF ohne RDS (AF-Symbol blinkt)
Ist die AF-Funktion aktiviert, wechselt das Gerät automatisch zu einer anderen Frequenz des aktuell
gewählten Senders wenn diese einen besseren Empfang besitzt. Im FM Modus können dann die
Tasten SEEK, SCAN, AUTO-MEMORY nur genutzt werden, um RDS zu empfangen und zu sichern.
REGIONAL MODE ON:
Die Alternativfrequenz wird nur angesteuert, wenn die Inhalte identisch mit der alten Frequenz sind
REGIONAL MODE OFF:
Die Inhalte werden nicht verglichen bevor der Sender gewechselt wird.
13. TA (Verkehrsfunk)
(1) Das Gerät wechselt autom. zu einem Sender der Verkehrsinformationen überträgt.
1) Im DISC,SD,USB-Modus schalten das Gerät zeitweise zum Verkehrsfunk.
2) Sobald eine Verkehrsmeldung übertragen wird, erscheint TP aus dem Display.
3) Ist die Lautstärke unter 20 eingestellt, erhöht sich diese automatisch auf 20. Nach der
Verkehrsmeldung wird die Ursprungslautstärke wieder hergestellt.
Wenn Sie diese Taste drücken, wird die aktuelle Meldung unterbrochen.
Tasten SEEK, SCAN, AUTO-MEMORY nur genutzt werden, wenn die Verkehrsmeldung eine
Identifikation überträgt.
(2) Wenn Sie die Taste länger drücken, können Sie zwischen EONTA LOCAL/EONTA DISTANCE
wählen.
1) EONTA LOCAL:
Es werden nur empfangsstarke Meldungen ohne Störungen wiedergegeben.
2) EONTA DISTANCE:
Die Anzeige von Verkehrsmeldungen wird mit den Senderinformationen verknüpft.

14. PTY (Programmart)
Sie können durch drücken zwischen folgende Programmen wählen:
POP M- -NEWS
Die Wahl der Programmart erfolgt über die voreingestellten Tasten. Es wird im Display angezeigt.
15. Uhrzeit
Drücken Sie CLK um die Uhrzeit anzuzeigen. Die Uhrzeit wird nach 5 Sek. wieder ausgeblendet.
Halten Sie CLK gedrückt um die Unrzeit einzustellen. Die Uhrzeit blinkt dann und kann mit dem
Lautstärkeregler eingestellt werden.
16. SCAN
Mittels SCN können Sie nach Sendern suchen, sobald ein Sender gefunden ist blinkt die Frequenz
auf dem Display für 5 Sek. Drücken Sie erneut SCN um den gefundenen Sender zu aktivieren oder
warten Sie bis die Suche nach 5 Sek. fortgesetzt wird.
17. AUX-Eingang
Wählen Sie den AUX-Modus und schließen Sie eine externe Quelle an diesen Anschluss an. Benutzen
Sie den Lautstärkeregler, um die Lautstärke anzupassen.
18. EJ (Auswurf-Taste)
Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, wird die CD ausgeworfe, sobald Sie diese taste drücken.
19. CD-Einzug
20. USB-Anschluss
Schieben Sie die Abdeckung zu Seite und schließen Sie ein USB-Speichermedium an. Das Gerät
wechselt automatisch in den USB-Modus und beginnt mit der Wiedergabe des ersten Titels.
Schieben Sie die Abdeckung wieder über de Anschluss, wenn dieser nicht benötigt wird.
21. SD-Kartenleser
Schieben Sie eine SD-Karte in das Gerät, das Gerät wechselt automatisch in den USB-Modus und
beginnt mit der Wiedergabe des ersten Titels.
Notiz:
Wenn SD- und USB-Medium gleichtzeitig im Gerät eingelegt sind, wechselt das Gerät automatisch in
den USB-Modus.
22. Blinkende LED
Sobald das Bedienelement entfernt wird, beginnt die LED zu blinken.
23. RESET (Zurücksetzen)
Bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal in Betrieb nehmen oder nachdem Sie die Batterie ersetzt haben,
müssen Sie diese Taste drücken, um das Gerät zurückzusetzen. Benutzen Sie hierzu einen spitzen
Gegenstand. Die Uhrzeit und alle gespeicherten Einstellungen werden gelöscht.
Richtiger Umgang mit CDs
Neben normalen CDs kann das Gerät CD-R und CD-R/W wiedergeben. In manchen Fällen können diese nicht
wiedergegeben werden. Dieses kann an der verwendeten CD-R bzw. CD-R/W oder dem CD-Brenner liegen.
Brennen Sie CD-Rs bei max. 24x Geschwindigkeit und CD-R/Ws bei 4x Geschwindigkeit.
1. Halten Sie die CD sauber:
Versehen Sie die CD nicht mit Aufklebern oder Klebeband.
Fassen Sie die CD nur am Rand und der Mitte an. Fassen Sie nicht auf die Lesefläche.
Bevor Sie eine CD wiedergeben, wischen Sie mit einem trockenen, sauberen Tuch ab.
Wischen Sie von Innen nach Außen.
2. Legen Sie immer nur eine CD ein. Die Bedruckte Seite muss nach oben zeigen.
3. Setzen Sie CDs keinem direkten Sonnenlicht oder Hitzequellen aus. Lassen Sie keine CD im
Fahrzeug, wenn Sie dieses im der Sonne parken.
4. Benutzen Sie keine CDs aus zweiter Hand oder geliehene. Diese sind manchmal mit Kleber versehen,
der das Gerät beschädigen kann.
5. Lagern Sie die CD immer in einer Hülle. Verkratzte CDs führen zu einem schlechten Klang.
6. Sollte es Regnen oder die Luftfeuchtigkit zu hoch sein, können die CDs oder die Linse des Geräts
anlaufen. Wischen Sie feuchte CDs immer ab und warten Sie eine 1 Stunde damit das Gerät
trocknen kann.
7. Reinigen Sie CDs nie mit Benzin oder Verdünner. Reinigungsmittel beschädigen das Gerät.

Hinweise zur Batterieentsorgung
Batterien dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll gegeben werden. Als Endverbraucher sind
Sie zur Rückgabe gebrauchter Batterien gesetzlich verpflichtet. Sie können
Batterien nach Gebrauch in der Verkaufsstelle oder deren unmittelbarer Nähe
(z.B. in kommunalen Sammelstellen oder im Handel) unentgeltlich zurückgeben.
Sie können Batterien auch per Post an uns zurücksenden.
Batterien oder Akkus, die Schadstoffe enthalten, sind mit dem Symbol einer
durchgekreuzten Mülltonne gekennzeichnet, wie das oben stehende Symbol.
In der Nähe zum Mülltonnensymbol befindet sich die chemische Bezeichnung des Schadstoffes. »Cd« steht
für Cadmium, »Pb« für Blei und »Hg« für Quecksilber.

Warnhinweise
Reparaturen am Gerät sollten nur von einer autorisierten Fachwerkstatt durchgeführt werden.
Öffnen Sie in keinem Fall das Gerät.
Falscher Zusammenbau führt möglicherweise zu Fehlfunktionen oder dem Totalausfall.
Das Gerät sollte vor jeglichen Feuchtigkeit und direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt werden.
Das Gerät bitte nicht mit Reinigungsmitteln reinigen.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung nur ein trockenes (Mikrofaser) Tuch.
Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an die dafür vorgesehene Netzspannung.
Schließen Sie das Gerät in keinem Fall an andere Spannungen als vorgesehen an.
Die Gewährleistung verfällt bei Fremdeingriffen in das Gerät.

PRECAUTIONS & MAINTENANCe
1. If the car interior is extremely hot, as after being parked in the sun, do not use the player until
the car has been driven for a while to cool off the interior.
2. The protective case is to safely keep the front panel.
3. The unit is designed for negative terminal of the battery which is connected to the vehicle metal.
Please confirm it before installation.
4. Do not allow the speaker wires to be shorted together when the unit is switched on. Otherwise it
may overload or burn out the power amplifier.
5. Do not install the detachable panel before connecting the wire.
Location & Function of Controls
1. OPEN BUTTON
Press the OPEN button to fold down the front control panel.
Then a disc can be inserted into the disc slot or ejected by pressing the EJ button. After flipping down the
front panel, push it leftwards, then pull the right side of the panel outwards to remove it from the unit
chassis.
2. SEL BUTTON (Select) AND VOL KNOB
a) Press the SEL button briefly, it is activated as selecting each mode of E. VOL. -> VOLUME ->BASS
->TREBLE -> BALANCE -> FADER ->
When selecting a desired audio mode, rotate the VOL knob to adjust the audio effect. In each mode, the
waiting time is about 5 seconds, and the time waiting time is over, it returns to the last display mode of
tuner or CDP mode. The control mode of E.VOL is operated with following numeric display.
- VOL: (MIN)00, 01, ..................46, 47(MAX).
- BASS/TRE: -07, -06, ...............,00,...+06,+07
- BAL: 0LR9, 1 LR9, ..., 9LR9,..., 9LR1, 9LR0
- FAD: 0FR9,1 FR9,..., 9FR9,..., 9FR1, 9FR0
b) When pressed longer 2 seconds, it is activated as cyclical mode of following functions for user’s selection.
->TA (ALARM/SEEK) ->PI (SOUND/MUTE) ->RETUNE (LONG/SHORT) ->MASK(DPI/ALL) ->BEEP
(ON/OFF) -> USER SET(FLAT/CLASSIC/ ROCK/POP) ->VOL(LAST/DEFA) ->MONO/STEREO(only for FM
mode) ->LOUD(ON/OFF)->LOCAL/DX (only for FM mode) ->CLK(ON/OFF) ->CLK (12/24).
After selecting the desired mode, rotate the VOL knob to select one setup item of the desired mode.

1) TA SEEK/TAALARM:
TASEEK mode: when newly tuned station does not receive TP information for 5 seconds, the radio
retunes to next station which has a different PI to the last station, but has the TP information.
When TP information gets lost at the current station for retune time which is set by RETUNE SHORT (90
seconds) or RETUNE LONG (150 seconds), the radio starts to retune to next same PI station. When
same PI station does not receive in 1 cyclic search, the radio retunes to next station with TP information.
TA ALARM mode: when this mode is selected, any automatic retune mode is not activated. Only double
beep sound (ALARM) will be heard.
When newly tuned station does not have TP information for 5 seconds, beeps are sounded.
When TP information gets lost at the current station for retune time, the beep sound will be heard.
When newly tuned station has no RDS signal, PI SEEK is suppressed.
2) PI SOUND/ PI MUTE:
PI SOUND mode: if a car cruises between buildings that could cause reflecting signals, a
phenomenon may occur, due to different PI codes being received from the same AF source. When
different PI sounds (DIP) are heard occassionally, this will happen for less than 1 second.
PI MUTE mode: under above same situation, a mute sound will be heard for less than 1 second.
3) RETUNE L/ RETUNE S:
The initial time of automatic TA search or PI SEARCH mode is selected.
When PI information is not received for retune interval, the radio starts to retune to next same PI
station.
When same PI station does not receive 1 cyclic search, the radio goes to last station and waits for 4-5
minutes until PI code is received.
RETUNE L mode: selected as 150 seconds. RETUNE S mode: selected as 90 seconds.
4) MASK DPI/MASKALL:
MASK DPI mode: masks only the AF which has different PI.
MASKALL mode: masks the AF which has different PI and NO RDS signal with high field strength.
5) BEEP ON/BEEP OFF
BEEP ON mode: The beep is generated when any key is pressed.
BEEP OFF mode: The beep sound is disabled.
6) VOL LAST/VOL DEFA
VOL LAST: The radio switches on at the actual volume it had when it was last switched off.
VOL DEFA: After pressing SEL button, AVOL will be displayed. Then you can pre-select a constant
switch-on volume by using the VOL knob.
7) CLK ON/OFF
CLK ON: Clock will always show on the display when power off.
CLK OFF: Clock will disappear on the display when powered off.
3. POWER ON/OFF
When the unit is power off, the unit comes to ON by pressing any button on the front panel (except the
OPEN key). It also can turn on the unit to insert a disc, SD card or USB stick into their slots or socket.
When the unit is power on, press and hold the power button, the unit goes into power off mode.
4. LCD Display
5 & 6. TUNE, SEEK, TRACK, SKIP UP/ DOWN BUTTONS
a)During RADIO mode:
Press the >>| or |<< button shortly to manual tune up/down for the desired radio station frequency
step by step.
Press and hold the >>| or |<< button for longer 0.5 seconds, to automatically tune up/down for the
radio station frequency of strong signal.
b)During disc, SD, USB playback mode:
Press the >>| button briefly to play next track.
Press the |<< button briefly to play the current track from the beginning of it if the playing time is more
than 2 seconds.
Press the |<< button briefly to play the previous track if the playing time is less than 2 seconds.
Press the >>| or |<< button and hold to skip forwards or backwards, release to resume normal
playback.
7. BAND BUTTON
During radio mode, press the BND button briefly to select the radio broadcasting band you would like to
hear. The AM/FM band is toggled cyclically through the tuning bands: ->FM 1-> FM 2 -> FM 3 -> MW 1-
>MW 2 ->.
8. MODE BUTTON
Press the MODE button to change among tuner (radio), disc (when a disc is loaded), SD card (when an SD
card is inserted), USB (when an USB stick is inserted) and AUX mode.

9. MUTE BUTTON
This button serves to switch the MUTED state on/off. Press the MUTE button to suppress the loudspeaker
temporarily, and press again to resume listening. The muted state will be also released when the MODE,
SEL button is pressed and VOL knob on the front panel is used.
10. APS BUTTON (Auto-storage /Preset scan)
During radio mode:
1) When press and hold for more than 1 second, the radio searches from the current frequency and
checks the signal strength level until 6 station are found. And then the 6 stations frequency are preset to
the corresponding preset memory numbered bank. The auto-storage operation is implemented in the
each selected band. When the auto-storage operation is finished, the radio execute the Preset Scan.
2) when short pressing, the radio searches for each preset station in the current band and holds at that
preset number for 5 seconds with releasing mute, and then search again.
During MP3 file in disc, SD or USB mode, press the APS button briefly, it is activated
Rotate the VOL knob to select and enter the number on the flashing digit place from 0 to 9.
Then press the APS button to confirm the entered number and the 0 on the tens digit will be flashing.
Rotate the VOL knob to select and enter the number on the flashing digit from 0 to 9. Then press the
APS button to confirm the entered number and the 0 on the units place digit will be flashing.
Rotate the VOL knob to select and enter the number on the flashing digit from 0 to 9. After finishing
enter all the number of the song serial number on the flashing digit, press the SEL button to play the
corresponding track.
11. PRESET STATION MEMORYAND TOP/>||, INT, RPT, RDM BUTTONS
a) During radio mode:
Go to any preset station by pressing one of the 6 preset station buttons (1-6).
If one of these buttons is pressed for more than 2 seconds, the station currently being listened to will be
memorized into the selected preset button.
b) During disc, SD or USB mode:
1) Press the TOP/ >|| button briefly to interrupt the playback of the disc, SD or USB. Press again to
resume normal playback of the disc, SD or USB. Press the TOP/>|| button and hold for approximately
0.5 seconds to play the first track of the disc, SD or USB.
2) Press the INT button to sample the first 10 seconds part of each track, and the INT ON will be visible
on the LCD display. In the process of INT, press INT button again to stop sampling and to continue
playing the current track, and the LCD will display INT OFF.
3) Press the RPT button once to play the current track repeatedly, and the RPT ONE will be visible on
the LCD display. During MP3 disc, SD or USB mode, press the RPT button twice continuously to play
the current folder repeatedly, and the RPTABM will be visible on the LCD display. In the process
of RPT, press RPT button again to stop playing repeatedly mode and the LCD will display RPT
OFF.
4) Press the RDM button to play all tracks on disc in random order, and the RDM ON will be visible on
the LCD display. In the process of RDM, press RDM button again to stop playing in random order
12. AF [ALTERNATIVE FREQUENCIES] BUTTON
When pressed short, AF switching mode is selected and the state of AF switching mode is displayed by
AF segment in display.
Segment off: AF switching mode off.
Segment on: AF switching mode on, and has RDS information.
Segment flashing: AF switching mode on, but RDS information is not received yet.
When AF switching mode is selected, the radio checks the signal strength of AF all the time. The interval
of checking time of each AFs depends on the signal strength of current station, from a few minute for
strong station to a few seconds for weak station. Every time that new AF is stronger than current station,
it switches over to that frequency for very short time, and NEW FREQUENCY is displayed for 1-2 second.
Because the mute time of AF switching or checking time is very short, it is almost inaudible in case of
normal program. During FM mode, when AF is on, SEEK, (SCAN), AUTO-MEMORY function can only
receive and save RDS program.
When pressed long, AF mode is converted to REGION ON/OFF mode. REGIONAL MODE ON:
AF switching or PI SEEK is implemented to the station which have all PI codes are same as current
station.(PI CODE is checked when AF CHECK in progress) REGIONAL MODE OFF:
The regional code in the format of PI code is ignored when AF switching or PI SEEK is implemented.
(PI CODE and COVERAGE AREA is not checked when AF CHECK in progress)
13. TA [TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT] BUTTON
(1) When press the button, it is activated as TA mode on or off. When TA mode is on (TA is displayed on
LCD), it will begin to seek TA station and TA SEEK will be displayed on LCD for a while.
When traffic announcement is transmitted:
1) If the unit is in SD, USB or disc mode, it will switch to radio mode temporarily.
2) Temporarily switch over to an EON linked station when EON detects a traffic announcement on
that other program, and TP will be displayed on LCD

3) If volume level is below 20, volume level is raised to 20, and returns to its previous mode
and volume level when the traffic announcement is over. If volume is adjusted during traffic
announcement, only the traffic announcement volume is valid.
TA interruption function:
The current traffic announcement is cancelled by pressing this key. But the TA mode will not be off.
When TA is on, SEEK, (SCAN), AUTO MEMORY function can be received or saved only
when traffic program identification code has been received. When TA is ON, traffic program
identification code is not received during specified time.
(2) When pressed long, it is selected EONTA LOCAL/EONTA DISTANCE mode. The purpose of this
key is to reduce unwanted EON TA switching, which EON TA information was received from current
station and the radio switched to that EON linked station, but no information could not be received
because the EON linked station is located too far from that area. So the radio is switched back to
current station again. In above operation, a customer listen to a wrong program or mute sound for a
while.
1) EONTA LOCAL mode:
When the filed strength level of EON linked is less than the threshold level, the radio does not switch
that station, and a customer can hardly listen to any disturbances.
When EONTA LOCAL mode is selected, EONTA LO on numeric display is indicated for a few seconds.
2) EONTA D ISTANCE mode:
EON TA switching is try to implemented by the information of current station. When EONTA
DISTANCE mode is selected, EONTA DX on numeric display is indicated for a few seconds.
14. PTY (PROGRAM TYPE) BUTTON
Press it briefly and repeatedly to select one of the following mode: POP M- - NEWS
While selecting PTY TYPE, its selection is implemented by preset buttons as described in preset key.
(press one of the 6 preset buttons shortly and repeatedly to select the PTY TYPE in the preset button)
When POP M or NEWS is on, the previous PTY program and PTY word is displayed on LCD. If there are no
keys
Entered for 2 seconds, previously selected PTY is searched. During 1 loop, if desired PTY is not found, NO
PTY is flashed, then return to previous normal radio and PTY icon goes off.
15. CLOCK BUTTON
Press the CLK button briefly to display time for 5 seconds on the display, and then returns to its previous
display unless the button is pressed again.
Then press the CLK button and hold for more than 1 seconds until the real time flashes on the display.
Then you can adjust HOUR or MINUTE by rotating the VOL knob.
16. SCAN BUTTON
Press the SCN button to scan the radio frequency. If a valid signal has detected, the current frequency will
be hold and blinking for 5 seconds, then press SCN again to stop scan and remain the current
frequency; otherwise, the radio will go on to scan the other radio frequency 5 seconds later.
17. AUX INPUT JACK
Press the mode button to select auxiliary input playing mode. Then you can connect any matched external
audio device to this socket. Use the volume knob to adjust volume.
18. EJECT KEY
In the power on state, the loaded disc can be ejected by pressing the EJ key.
19. CD SLOT
20. USB SOCKET
When needing to play the file in the USB stick, turn over the plastic cover cap then insert the USB stick
into the USB socket. The system will change into the USB mode automatically, and then play the first file
in the USB. When no needing to do USB operation, please cover the plastic cover cap.
21. SD CARD SLOT
When you need to play the file in the SD card, insert the SD card into the card
slot. The system will change into the SD mode automatically, and then play the first file in the SD.
Note: When SD card and USB stick are both inserted into their slot or socket, the system will change into
the USB mode automatically.
22. FL A S H I N G L E D
When the front control panel is removed this indicator flashes.
23. RESET BUTTON
Before operating the unit for the first time, or after replacing the car battery or changing the connections.
You must reset the unit.
Press this button with a cuspidal object. This operation will erase the clock setting and some stored
contents.

Care for Using CD´s
About CD-R/CD-R/W discs:
In addition to commercially-recorded audio CD's, this unit can play CD-R and CD-R/W discs. In come
cases, particularly when recorded on older CD burners, some CD-R and CD-R/W discs may not play.
Also, whenever you are recording a CD for playback in this receiver, it is recommended that you
record at 24x or slower speed for CD-R and 4x or slower for CD-R/W to achieve higher signal quality
and better playback performance.
1. To keep the disc clean:
Do not attach any sticker or adhesive tape on the disc.
Handle the disc by its edge to keep the disc clean and do not touch the surface. Before playing a disc,
wipe it off with a clean, dust-free cleaning cloth. Wipe the disc outwards from the disc center.
2. When one has already been inserted. Doing so may damage the unit. Insert a disc with labeled surface
up, or it will damage the unit.
3. Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight or nearby heat sources such as heating vents, caliduct which can
cause the disc to warp.
Do not leave disc in a car if it is parked in direct sunlight as that will lead to a considerable rise in the
temperature inside the car.
4. Do not use any secondhand or rented disc, usually, there is glue on the surface of those discs, it will stop
the unit working and damage it.
5. Always store the disc in its case for protection. Scratched up discs will produce poor sound performance
and cause CD player to skip.
6. In raining day or wet area, the moisture may form on the disc or the optical parts, the playback may not
be possible. If moisture forms on the disc, wipe it off with a soft cloth.
If moisture forms on the optical parts of the unit, allow the unit to sit for about one hour with power on.
7. Do not use solvents such as benzine or thinners. Commercially available cleaners.
