●Intended use
This radio-controlled weather station displays the indoor and outdoor temperature and the
indoor/outdoor air humidity. Besides the radio-assisted time display, this product features 2
individually adjustable alarm functions. The radio-controlled weather station is only suitable
for indoor use. The outdoor sensor can be used indoors and outdoors. This product is
intended for private household use only.

Shows the expected weather.
The following weather conditions are possible: sunny, slightly cloudy,
cloudy, rain, heavy rain, snowfall and heavy snowfall
Shows the current moon phase.
Shows the temperature, air humidity and air pressure trends.
Arrow down: values drop
Arrow right: values remain constant
Arrow up: values rise
Is displayed if the time is set in 12 h format.
Is displayed if daylight saving time is set.
Shows reception of the DCF radio signal.
Shows a low charge state of the batteries in the radio-controlled weather
station.
Is displayed if the snooze function is activated.
Shows the currently activated alarm function(s).

Safety notices for batteries/rechargeable
batteries
■
DANGER OF DEATH!
Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children. If swallowed, contact
a physician immediately!
■Swallowed batteries can cause burns, perforation of soft tissue and death. Severe burns
can occur within 2 hours after swallowing.
■Never recharge disposable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/recharge
able batteries and do not open them. The batteries might overheat, burn or
burst.
■Do not throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
■Do not subject batteries/rechargeable batteries to mechanical strain.
Risk of leaking batteries/rechargeable batteries
■Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures that may affect the batteries/rechargeable
batteries; do not put them on heaters or subject them to direct sunlight.
■If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact of the battery acid with the
skin, eyes and mucous membranes! Rinse the affected region immediately with clear water
and contact a physician!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!
Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause caustic
burns if they come into contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves.
■Take leaking batteries/rechargeable batteries out of the product immediately to prevent
damage.
■Only use batteries/rechargeable batteries of the same type. Do not mix old and new
batteries/rechargeable batteries!
■Take batteries/rechargeable batteries out of the device if you are not going to use it for

■Insert the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the product and make sure the polarity (+)
and (-) is correct.
■Clean the contacts of batteries/rechargeable batteries and those in the battery compart
ment with a dry, lint-free cloth or cotton swab before inserting them.
■Immediately remove spent batteries/rechargeable batteries from the product.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK/MORTAL DANGER
Danger due to electricity
■Do not immerse the product and the power unit in water or other liquids; risk of an electric
shock.
■Do not touch the product and the power unit with damp hands and do not operate it
outdoors or in rooms with high humidity.
■Do not place any containers with liquids, such as vases or similar, on or near the product
and the power unit. The container can topple and the liquid can impair electrical safety.
■Never open or remove the housing of the product and the power unit. There are live parts
on the inside of the housing that can cause an electric shock when touched.
■Do not insert any objects into the opening of the product; they can touch live parts which
posess the risk of an electric shock.
■Pull the power unit out of the mains socket if faults occur (such as malfunctions or smoke)
during operation, after operation and during thunderstorms. Always pull on the power
unit, not on the power cable.
■Pull the power unit out of the main socket to completely disconnect the product from the
power supply. The power unit always consumes a small quantity of electricity as long as it
is connected to a mains socket, even if the product is not connected to the power unit.
■The mains socket must always be easy to reach so that you can quickly pull out the power
unit in the case of an emergency.
■Install the power unit cable so that no-one can trip over it. Do not bend or crush the power
unit cable.
■Keep the power unit cable away from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
■Do not modify the product or the power unit.
■Only have repairs on the product or the power unit carried out by an expert workshop.
Improper repairs can pose significant risks for the user.

□Place the outdoor sensor on a level surface. Make sure that the outdoor sensor cannot
topple over. IPX4 protection is not guaranteed if the outdoor sensor is horizontal.
●Wall mounting
The radio-controlled weather station can also be mounted on the wall (suspension eye

and can be attached with the supplied attachment materials. Observe the structural condi
tions and ensure sufficient ventilation.
The outdoor sensor (suspension eyelet

) must only be used when standing or hanging;
IPX4 protection is not guaranteed if the outdoor sensor is horizontal. For wall mounting, the
outdoor sensor can be attached with the enclosed mounting material. Please observe the
conditions on site and do not exceed the 100 m distance (open field) to the radio-controlled
weather station.
●Start-up
Note: The maximum range between the radio-controlled weather station and the outdoor
sensor is 100 metres. The range might be reduced by obstacles (walls or objects).
Note: Remove all packaging material from the product. Remove all protective films before
first use.

surface or hang it on a wall using suspension eyes
