INSTALLATION AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Your Avanti Room SecuritySafe is supplied with the following:

INSTALLING YOUR SECURITY SAFE
When installing your safe, be sure the location is sturdy enough to support the unit and is both
secure and easy to access.
Safe can be installed ontoeither a concrete or wooden surface.
When installing use a 25/64” (10mm) drill bit andscrews.
To prevent removal of your security safe, it is recommended to use Allen type screws (not included)
to affix the unit to the installation location.

INITIAL SETUP AND CONFIGURATION.
After you have installedthe unit in its final location, proceed to set up digital access controls.
1) Using the emergency Access Key,open the safe.
2) Open the battery compartment cover.
3) Following the image shown in the battery compartment install 4 AA sized batteries.
4) Close the battery compartment cover.
5) Using the keypad,enter the initial setup password “1234” or the administrator password
“888888”.
NOTE:
Battery Life / Level: Always replace allof the batteries at the same time. If at any time the battery
level is too low to operate the security safe, use theemergency access key.
Safety / Security Feature: If the passcode is entered incorrectly more than 3 times the keypad will
go into lockmode. After approximately (15) fifteen minutes the keypad will return to normal
working function.
Interior Light: When the safe is unlocked using thekeypad, the interior light will turnon and will
turn off automatically after approximately 30 seconds.
Automatic Door Opening: When the safe is unlocked using the keypad the door will automatically
open slightly outward to allow easy / quick access to contents stored in the safe.
RESETTING THE ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD
To reset the access code read and follow the steps below.
1) With the door open, press the “Clear”key twice, the Yellow Light flashes,enter old master code
(default “8-8-8-8-8-8”)
2) one acoustic signals (“beep”) will come (It’s mean old master code is right, if old master code is
wrong, three acoustic signals (“beep”“beep”“beep”) will come), enter a new master code of 6 digits ,
one acoustic signals (“beep”) will come.
3) Re-inter the new master code, the Green Light flashes and one long acoustic signals (“beep~”),
indicates new master code changed successfully.
GUEST / USER CODE SETUP
To reset the access code read and follow the steps below.
1) With the door CLOSED, enter a new 3 – 6 digit code and press the “LOCK” key to confirm the new
pass code.
2) You will hear and see the security lock engage.
3) Enter the new pass code to open the security safe.
4) Close thedoorand enter the new code set up in step # 1and press the “LOCK” key.
5) If the Guest / User enters the wrong pass code three (3) times in a row the keypad will go into
security-lock mode and willremain locked for approximately (15) fifteen minutes. After the (15)
fifteen minutes has elapsed the keypad will return to normal operation.

Additional Instructions:
Manual Operation (Open using the key).
• User will need to remove the key hole cover by peeling away the key hole cover label.
• Insert the emergency access key into the lock and turn clockwise to open the safe.
• While the door is open, change the batteries on the control panel
Battery Override ( 9 Volt Square battery required)
In the even the batteries are low or need to be changed, you can open the unit either manually by using the
access key or via external battery supply.
Using a 9 Volt square battery, touch the batter terminals to the two round metal pads on the front of the control
to give temporary power to the controls.
While the battery is in place, enter the preset passcode and the door will open giving you access to the safe
and the battery compartment.

WHAT IS COVERED – LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY
Avanti Products warrants that the product is free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of twelve
(12) months from the date of purchase by the original owner. The foregoing timeline begins to run upon the date of
purchase, and shall not be stalled, tolled, extended, or suspended for any reason whatsoever unless described in
detail in the warranty document. For one year from the date of purchase by the original owner, Avanti products will,
at its option, repair or replace any part of the product which proves to be defective in material or workmanship under
normal use. Avanti Products will provide you with a reasonably similar product that is either new or factory
refurbished. During this period Avanti Products will provide all parts and labor necessary to correct such defects free
of charge, so long as the product has been installed and operated in accordance with the written instructions in this
manual. In rental or commercial use, the warranty period is 90 days. All Avanti Products of 4.4 cubic feet capacity or
less must be brought / sent to an authorized appliance service center for repair.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS / WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
The warranty coverage described herein excludes all defects or damage that are not the direct fault of Avanti
Products, including without limitation, one or more of the following:
•A failure to comply with any applicable state, local, city, or county electrical, plumbing and/or building codes,
regulations, or laws, including failure to install the product in strict conformity with local fire and building codes and
regulations.
•Any external, elemental and/or environmental forces and factors, including without limitation, rain, wind, sand,
floods, fires, mud slides, freezing temperatures, excessive moisture or extended exposure to humidity, lightning,
power surges, structural failures surrounding the appliance, and acts of God.
•Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
1) Accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, improper installation, failure to perform normal maintenance or operation
to follow instructions labeled on or provided in the safe.
2) Any unit which has been altered or on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
3) Normal wear, battery replacement, any periodic maintenance or where combination lock has been changed
without factory authorization.
•Installation or removal charges.
•Shipping and handling costs associated with the
replacement of the unit.
•State sales tax does not apply to warranty service
work and will not be honored.
•Repairs performed by unauthorized servicers.
•Service calls that are related to external problems,
such as abuse, misuse, inadequate electrical power,
accidents, fire, floods, or any other acts of God.
•Failure of the product if it is used for other than it
intended purpose.
•Surcharges including but not limited to, any after hour,
weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry trip
charges, or mileage expense for service calls to
remote areas.
•Damages based on inconvenience, loss of use,
damage or loss of contents, or any other damages
whether incidental, consequential or otherwise.
In no event shall Avanti Products have any liability or responsibility whatsoever for damage to surrounding property,
including cabinetry, floors, ceilings, and other structures and/or objects around the product. Also excluded from this
warranty are scratches, nicks, minor dents, and other cosmetic damages on external surfaces and exposed parts;
Products on which the serial numbers have been altered, defaced or removed; service visits for customer education,
or visits where there is nothing wrong with the product; correction of installation problems (you are solely responsible
for any structure and setting for the product, including all electrical, plumbing and/or other connecting facilities, for
proper foundation/flooring, and for any alterations including without limitation cabinetry, walls, floors, shelving etc., as
well as the resetting of breakers or fuses.
OUT OF WARRANTY PRODUCT
Avanti Products is under no obligation, at law or otherwise, to provide you with any concessions, including repairs,
pro-rates, or product replacement, once this warranty has expired.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
1) If your Avanti product requires service, contact our Service department 1-800-220-5570 or contact your local
authorized Avanti service center.
2) Upon contact with the Service department or an authorized service center you will be advised on the
necessary procedure to follow.
3) All warranty service MUST have prior authorization, accompanied by proof of purchase as evidence of
warranty coverage. A warranty authorization MUST be obtained from Avanti Products before any service is
performed.
4) Only authorized service representatives may perform warranty service. Any service performed prior to
issuance of a warranty authorization number will be subject to denial.
