AXIS DUAL INCUBATOR MANUAL GUIDE
The Axis AXDL-100 Dual Incubator has been designed for incubation of self-contained
biological indicators for Steam, Eto, Formaldehyde and Plasma. The Axis AXDL-100
incubator works at an environmental temperature of 15 - 35 ºC, relative humidity of 35 - 85 %
and the voltage 220 volts.

Directions for use
1. Connect the incubator to a power supply network of voltage .
On the screen first AXIS logo will appear than set temperature will be seen.
If the incubator set to 37°C operator will see “S37°” and “S60°” if arranged to 60°C.
2. Select/change the incubation temperature using the switch button located at the base of
the incubator.
NOTE: Incubator has 128x64 OLED SCREEN. Temperature, high and low temperature
warnings can be seen from here. These meanings;
LA : low temperature HA : high temperature
3.Arranged temperature will be reached in 1-1,5 hour. If the required temperature does not
reach in this time incubator will give “LA “ warning. Also if the temperature increases more
than adjusted incubator will give “HA” warning in 4-5 seconds. When operator goes 60°C
to 37°C first incubator will give “HA” alarm than the temperature will slowly drop.
IMPORTANT: Check that the incubation temperature is the correct one.
4.Incubate at 37ºC (for eto,dry heat) or 60ºC (for steam,plasma and formaldehyde). Color
change of the growth indicating medium shows a failure in the sterilization process. Please
check Biological Indicator manual to interpret results.
5.A color change in the protein pen indicates the presence of detectable levels of protein.

The incubator should be sent to the manufacturer for repair.
Make sure that the incubator is connected to a properly rated power cord.
