Warm-up
Itwilltakethemotionsensoappoximately2minutestowamupaftethebatteyisinseted.DuingthispeiodtheLEDbehindthe
lenswilltunon.WhentheedLEDtunsoff,thewam-uppocedueiscompletedandthedeviceiseadytodetect.
•ThiswillnotaffecttheInclusion/Exclusionpocess.
•Afteyouemovethebatteies,wait5secondsbefoeyouetthem.
Quicktest
1.Ifthetampeswitchisnotpessedafteinclusion,thedevicewillente“Testmode”toallowyoutotestthedevice
befoeitismountedonthewall.
2.Ifmovementisdetectedduing“Testmode”,theLEDonthemotionsensowilllightuponceindicatingthattheunitis
wokingpopely.Retiggetimeisabout5sec.
3.Toexit“Testmode”andentenomalmode,simplypessthetampeswitchfomoethan10seconds.
4.WhenthePIRistiggeedduingnomalmodetheedLEDwillnotlightup,andetiggetimeisbasedonasetupvalue.

Important!MakesueyouhaveceatedaZ-Wavecontolle-eventlinkedtothebattey-statussignal.Thatwayyouwill
getanoticationoaLEDindicationwhenadeviceunsonlowbatteypowe.

ThedetectosuppotseitheoneoftwoZ-WaveAssociationGoups:
Goup1:Associationwith1Contollenode.
Goup2:Associationwith4nodes(i.e.enddevicessuchassmatplugsandothelightingcontolles).Thisallowsthedetectoto
tansfecommandsdiectlytoenddeviceswithoutthepaticipationofthecontolle.Thishastheeffectthatwhenthedetecto
tigges,alldevicesassociatedwithdetectowillbeopeated.

Goup1commands:
•WhenthedeviceispoweedupandaleadyisapatofaZ-Wavenetwok,theunitwillsendaNoticationRepotto
thenodeinGoup1.
•Whenthedetectosensesamovement,theunitwillsendaNoticationRepottothenodesofGoup1.Oncethe
movementisstopped,aNoticationRepotwillbesentagaintoGoup1.
•Whenthedetecto’sstatusischanged,thedevicewillcheckitsbatteystatussimultaneously.Ifthebatteyleveldopsto
anunacceptablelevel,thedevicewillemitaBatteyepottothenodesofGoup1.
•WhenyoupefomaFactoyReset,theunitwillsendDeviceResetLocallyNoticationtothenodeofGoup1.
Goup2commands:
•Whenthedetectoistiggeed,theunitwillsendBASIC_SETcommandwhichcontainsavaluetothenodesofGoup2.
