Warm-up
Itwilltakethemotionsensoappoximately2minutestowamupaftethebatteyisinseted.DuingthispeiodtheLEDbehindthe
lenswilltunon.WhentheedLEDtunsoff,thewam-uppocedueiscompleteandthedeviceiseadytodetect.
•ThiswillnotaffecttheInclusion/Exclusionpocess.
•Afteyouemovethebattey,wait5secondsbefoeyouetit.
Quicktest
1.Ifthetampeswitchisnotpessedafteinclusion,thedevicewillente“Testmode”,toallowyoutotestthedevice
befoeitismountedonthewall.
2.Ifmovementisdetectedduing“Testmode”,theLEDonthemotionsensowilllightuponce,indicatingthattheunitis
wokingpopely.Thee-tiggetimeisabout5seconds.
3.Toexit“Testmode”andentenomalmode,pessthetampeswitchfomoethan10seconds.
4.WhenthePIRistiggeedduingnomalmode,theedLEDwillnotlightup,ande-tiggetimeisbasedonasetvalue.

Important!MakesueyouceateaZ-Wavecontolleeventthatislinkedtothebatteystatussignal.Inthiswayyouwill
getanoticationoaLEDindicationwhenadevicestatstoexpeiencelowbatteypowe.

ThedevicesuppotstwodiffeentZ-WaveAssociationGoups:
•Goup1:Associationwith1Contollenode.
•Goup2:Associationwith4nodes(i.e.end-devicessuchassmatplugsandothelightingcontolles).Thisallowsthe
devicetosendcommandsdiectlytoothedeviceswithoutthepaticipationofthecontolle.Thishastheeffectthat
whenthedevicetigges,allotheassociateddeviceswillalsobeopeated.

AssociationgoupsuppotcanvayamongZ-WaveContolles.TheAXISM5065suppotsZ-WaveAssociationGoup1.
Goup1commands:
•WhenthedeviceispoweedupandisaleadyapatofaZ-Wavenetwok,itwillsendaNoticationRepottothenode
inGoup1.
•Whenthedetectosensesmovement,theunitwillsendaNoticationRepottothenodesinGoup1.Whenmovement
stops,aNoticationRepotwillbesentagaintoGoup1.
•Whenthedetecto’sstatuschanges,thedevicewillsimultaneouslycheckitsbatteystatus.Ifthebatteyleveldopstoan
unacceptablelevel,thedevicewillsendabatteyepottothenodesinGoup1.
•Whenyoupefomafactoyeset,theunitwillsendDeviceResetLocallyNoticationtothenodeinGoup1.
