comesfromtheencodingdriverofthedevice.Thebitrateintheoverlayistheaveragebitrateofthelast5seconds,
anditcomesfromthebrowser.Bothvaluescoveronlytherawvideostreamandnottheadditionalbandwidth
generatedwhenit’stransportedoverthenetworkthroughUDP/TCP/HTTP.
•Adaptivestream:Turnontoadapttheimageresolutiontotheviewingclient’sactualdisplayresolution,toincrease
theuserexperienceandhelppreventapossibleoverloadoftheclient’shardware.Theadaptivestreamisonly
appliedwhenyouviewthelivevideostreaminthewebinterfaceinabrowser.Whenadaptivestreamisturnedon,
themaximumframerateis30fps.Ifyoutakeasnapshotwhileadaptivestreamisturnedon,itwillusetheimage
resolutionselectedbytheadaptivestream.
•Levelgrid:Clicktoshowthelevelgrid.Thegridhelpsyoudecideiftheimageishorizontallyaligned.Click
tohideit.
•Pixelcounter:Clicktoshowthepixelcounter.Dragandresizetheboxtocontainyourareaofinterest.Youcan
alsodenethepixelsizeoftheboxintheWidthandHeightelds.
•Refresh:Clicktorefreshthestillimageintheliveview.

Powerlinefrequency:Selectthefrequencythatisusedinyourregiontominimizeimageicker.TheAmericanregions
usuallyuse60Hz.Therestoftheworldmostlyuses50Hz.Ifyou'renotsureofyourregion'spowerlinefrequency,check
withthelocalauthorities.
Rotate:Selectthepreferredimageorientation.

Appearance
Saturation:Usetheslidertoadjustthecolorintensity.Youcanforexamplegetagrayscaleimage.
Contrast:Usetheslidertoadjustthedifferencebetweenlightanddark.
Brightness:Usetheslidertoadjustthelightintensity.Thiscanmakeobjectseasiertosee.Brightnessisappliedafterimage
capture,anddoesn’taffecttheinformationintheimage.Togetmoredetailsfromadarkarea,it’susuallybettertoincrease
gainorexposuretime.
Sharpness:Usetheslidertomakeobjectsintheimageappearsharperbyadjustingtheedgecontrast.Ifyouincreasethe
sharpness,itmayincreasethebitrateandtheamountofstoragespaceneededaswell.

Localcontrast:Usetheslidertoadjustthecontrastoftheimage.Ahighervaluemakesthecontrasthigherbetweendark
andlightareas.
Tonemapping:Usetheslidertoadjusttheamountoftonemappingthatisappliedtotheimage.Ifthevalueissettozeroonly
thestandardgammacorrectionisapplied,whileahighervalueincreasesthevisibilityintheimage.
Whitebalance
Whenthecameradetectsthecolortemperatureoftheincominglight,itcanadjusttheimagetomakethecolorslookmore
natural.Ifthisisnotsufcient,youcanselectasuitablelightsourcefromthelist.
Theautomaticwhitebalancesettingreducestheriskofcolorickerbyadaptingtochangesgradually.Ifthelightingchanges,or
whenthecameraisrststarted,itcantakeupto30secondstoadapttothenewlightsource.Ifthereismorethanonetype
oflightsourceinascene,thatistheydifferincolortemperature,thedominatinglightsourceactsasareferenceforthe
automaticwhitebalancealgorithm.Thisbehaviorcanbeoverriddenbychoosingaxedwhitebalancesettingthatmatches
thelightsourceyouwanttouseasareference.

isturnedonandblocksincominginfraredlight,andwheninnightmode,theIR-cutlteristurnedoffandthe
camera’slightsensitivityincreases.
•On:SelecttoturnontheIR-cutlter.Theimageisincolor,butwithreducedlightsensitivity.
•Off:SelecttoturnofftheIR-cutlter.Theimageisinblackandwhiteforincreasedlightsensitivity.
Threshold:Usetheslidertoadjustthelightthresholdwherethecamerachangesfromdaymodetonightmode.
•MovetheslidertowardsBrighttodecreasethethresholdfortheIR-cutlter.Thecamerachangestonightmode
