Dethofeldandsensorsize
Thedepthofelddependsonthelensaperture,thesizeoftheiagesensorandthedistancetothescene.Thelowerthef-nuber
andlargerthesensor,theshallowerdepthofeld.Duetothelargesensor,thedepthofeldisoreshallowinthisparticular
productthanintraditionalsurveillancecaeras.Depthofeldbecoesshallowerindarkconditions,duetothefactthattheiris
opensuptoprovideenoughlighttothesensor.

Focusandlightsensitivity
Thefocuspointisaffectedbytheaperture(f-stop)ofthelens.Thelowerthef-stopvalue,theorelightreachestheiagesensor.
Thesallertheaperture,thedeeperdepthofeldwhichayleadtoanunwantedabsolutefocuspoint.Duringlowlightconditions,
whentheapertureisaslargeaspossible,thedepthofelddecreasesandtheiageaythereforeappearunfocused.

Yourcaerausesvisiblelighttodelivercoloriagesduringtheday.Butasthevisiblelightdiinishes,coloriagesbecoeless
brightandclear.Ifyouswitchtonightodewhenthishappens,thecaerausesbothvisibleandnear-infraredlighttodeliverbright
anddetailedblack-and-whiteiagesinstead.Youcansetthecaeratoswitchtonightodeautoatically.

Stabilizeashakyimagewithelectronicimagestabilization(EIS)
ElectronicIageStabilization(EIS)canbeusedinenvironentswheretheproductisountedinanexposedlocationandsubjectto
vibrations,forexaple,windorpassingtrafc.
EISakestheiagesoother,steadierandlessblurry.Italsoreducesthelesizeofthecopressediageandlowersthe
bitrateofthevideostrea.

TheImagetabcontainscaerasettingsthataffectallvideostreasfrotheproduct.Ifyouchangesoethinginthistab,it
iediatelyaffectsallvideostreasandrecordings.
TheStreamtabcontainssettingsforvideostreas.Yougetthesesettingsifyourequestavideostreafrotheproductanddon’t
specifyforexapleresolution,orfraerate.WhenyouchangethesettingsintheStreamtab,itdoesn’taffectongoingstreas,but
itwilltakeeffectwhenyoustartanewstrea.
TheStreamprolessettingsoverridethesettingsfrotheStreamtab.Ifyourequestastreawithaspecicstreaprole,the
streacontainsthesettingsofthatprole.Ifyourequestastreawithoutspecifyingastreaprole,orrequestastreaprole
thatdoesn'texistintheproduct,thestreacontainsthesettingsfrotheStreamtab.

candenethetotalstoragerequiredtostorethevideostreaforaspeciedaountoftie(retentiontie)wheniagequalityis
