differentcapabilitieswhenitcoestolightsensitivityandeldofview.Seetheproduct’sdatasheetforlensalternatives.
Dethofeldandsensorsize
Thedepthofelddependsonthelensaperture,thesizeoftheiagesensorandthedistancetothescene.Thelowerthef-nuber
andlargerthesensor,theshallowerdepthofeld.Duetothelargesensor,thedepthofeldisoreshallowinthisparticular
productthanintraditionalsurveillancecaeras.Depthofeldbecoesshallowerindarkconditions,duetothefactthattheiris
opensuptoprovideenoughlighttothesensor.

Focusandlightsensitivity
Thefocuspointisaffectedbytheaperture(f-stop)ofthelens.Thelowerthef-stopvalue,theorelightreachestheiagesensor.
Thesallertheaperture,thedeeperdepthofeldwhichayleadtoanunwantedabsolutefocuspoint.Duringlowlightconditions,
whentheapertureisaslargeaspossible,thedepthofelddecreasesandtheiageaythereforeappearunfocused.

BenetfromIRlightinlow-lightconditionsbyusingnightmode
Yourcaerausesvisiblelighttodelivercoloriagesduringtheday.Butasthevisiblelightdiinishes,coloriagesbecoeless
brightandclear.Ifyouswitchtonightodewhenthishappens,thecaerausesbothvisibleandnear-infraredlighttodeliverbright
anddetailedblack-and-whiteiagesinstead.Youcansetthecaeratoswitchtonightodeautoatically.
1.GotoVideoImageDay-nightmode,andakesurethattheIR-cutlterissettoAuto.
2.Tosetatwhatlightlevelyouwantthecaeratoswitchtonightode,ovetheThresholdslidertowardBrightorDark.

Stabilizeashakyimagewithelectronicimagestabilization(EIS)
ElectronicIageStabilization(EIS)canbeusedinenvironentswheretheproductisountedinanexposedlocationandsubjectto
vibrations,forexaple,windorpassingtrafc.
EISakestheiagesoother,steadierandlessblurry.Italsoreducesthelesizeofthecopressediageandlowersthe
bitrateofthevideostrea.
