1. Why can’t I access the Web UI of my WL559E?
Ans:
Ensure that the Ethernet cable is connected to WL559E’s Ethernet ort
through the com uter’s Ethernet ort via the Ethernet cable and that the
device is switch on.
Ans:
You may turn-off / disable your wireless network on your com uter and
launch a Web browser it should redirect you to User Interface of the
WL559E (If in any case it does not ty e htt ://10.0.10.254 on your Web
browser Ex: Internet Ex lorer, Firefox, or Chrome etc.)
2. What if I want to change some configuration on my WL559E after it has been
reviously configured and connected to my wireless AP/Router?
Ans:
If you are connected to the WL559E’s wireless network, you may just o en
your Web browser and ty e htt ://10.0.10.254 to get to the Web user
interface; since there is no way that we can find out if we are connected to
the WL559E’s wireless network as they advertise the same wireless
network(SSID).
Ans:
Another way is to connect an Ethernet cable between WL559Eyou’re your
com uter then access the Web user Interface by ty ing htt ://10.0.10.254
via the Web Browser.
3. Will the WL559E increase the range and through ut of my wireless AP/Router?
Ans:
The WL559E will extend the range of your wireless AP/router but it will
NOT increase the through ut due to the fact that all re eaters will sacrifice
half of the bandwidth available from the rimary router for clients
wirelessly connected to the re eater. This is a result of the re eater taking
turns talking to not just one artner, but to two, and having to relay the
traffic between them.

4. Can I connect a second WL559E to the current WL559E that I have already
connected to my wireless AP/router?
Ans:
It is ossible to extend the wireless signal of your first WL559E by
connecting another WL559E to it. But you must understand that each time
the wireless signal is re eated, the re eated signal will be half of the
original. So in theory, if your wireless AP/router gives a total through ut of
about 50Mb s, after the 1st WL559E it will be around 25Mb s and
12.5Mb s after the 2nd WL559E. Actual through ut might be lower than
this after taking in consideration walls and other interference in the
wireless medium.
5. Can I use the WL559E with my old wireless-G AP/router?
Ans:
Yes. Even if the WL559E is a wireless-N re eater, it is backward com atible
with wireless b and g devices including AP and clients.
6. Why can't I connect to the Internet when I ressed the WPS on the WL559E?
Ans:
The WPS button on the WL559E is meant for connecting the device to
AP/Router and wireless client devices to the WL559E. When WPS is
activated, Light in Amber color will blink within 2 mins. If WL559E was
already connected to any AP/Router, Internet on the WL559E will sto to
scan for connecting AP/Router or wireless client. If in any case the
association is not successful you will need to reboot the WL559E to restore
its connection to the Internet.
