Explanation of Graphical Symbols :
Sterilization of Fiber-Optic Probe :
After each treatment, the fiber-optic probe should be disinfected or sterilized. Wrap
completely in an autoclave sterilization pouch, then autoclave at 132°C/75 psi for 4
minutes by using a pre-vacuum sterilizer to get maximum results. Allow the fiber-optic
probe to air-dry for 20-30 minutes in the sterilization pouch before removing.
IMPORTANT :
Disconnect the fiber-optic probe from the handpiece and autoclave by itself.
Product Cleaning:
If there is any dirt or stains on the surface of control panel, handpiece or other
components, please use a cloth to wipe clean. If it is hard to clean, please use
a neutral cleansing agent. 70% isopropyl alcohol is recommended.
IMPORTANT :
Never use a solvent or volatile oil for cleaning; this can lead to fading
of the print on the casing or the metal ring falling off from the probe.

Cooling System :
>> This device is designed with a built-in cooling fan which automatically activates
whenever the device is in use, and continues to run for a few seconds after the
cycle has ended.
>> If the temperature gets exceeds 45°C, the fan will continue to run until the
internal temperature has cooled down.
>> If the temperature gets exceeds 65°C, the device will automatically shut off and
the fan will continue to run. Until the internal temperature has cooled down, the
device will be able to restart.
>> If the unit needs to be used for continuous curing, please decrease the curing time.
>> Under the premise of not touching the oral tissue, when using the curing light or
switching the treatment area or switching any operation settings, it is necessary
to cool down for seconds before starting the next curing cycle in case the curing
light being used for over 15 seconds during a curing cycle for more cycles.

This “Ultimate BASE280 LED Curing Light” is a dental curing unit utilizing
visible light programmed for the polymerization of light curing materials in the
wavelength range of 360-420nm (UV Light) and 420-490nm (Blue Light) by
dental professionals.

the device.

There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced.
Trained service personnel should replace only with the same or
equivalent battery type as recommended by the manufacturer.
IMPORTANT :
Prior to using a new battery, please charge for a minimum of 4 hours to
ensure maximum battery life.
Battery Installation / Replacement
Fiber-Optic Probe Installation / Replacement
1. Insert the fiber-optic probe into the handpiece until the base of the probe
is completely matched to the handpiece and listen for a “click” that signifies
the probe has been securely fastened.
2. Place the protection shield on the front end of the handpiece, and the orange
anti-glare cone or tube onto the tip of the fiber-optic probe and adjust its
position according to the dentist's preference.
3. To remove, simply pull the fiber-optic probe outwards to remove it from the
handpiece.
IMPORTANT :
Don’t use excessive force when installing the above parts to avoid
possible breakage or damage.
WARNING :
Do not modify this device without authorization of the manufacturer.

Please check the specification before using the adapter, the
incorrectness could cause the malfunction of the product.

CAUTION :
Avoid direct contact of light guide with skin, oral tissue and tooth surface. Before
use, ensure to put anti-glare cone on the tip of the light guide and keep the light
guide at a distance of minimum 2mm from oral tissue or tooth surface.
CAUTION :
It is forbidden for the Fiber Optic Light Guide to be directly in contact with any
of the teeth surface or any other oral tissue.
CAUTION :
After each curing cycle, it is necessary to cool down for more than 30 seconds
before starting the next cycle.
Any clinical diagnosis need to be enforced by doctor according to the curing
environment and each patients’ situation.
WARNING :
Heat development (burn hazard)
As it is the case with all high-performance lights, the high light intensity results
in a certain heat development. Pro-longed exposure of areas near the pulp and
soft tissues may result in irreversible or reversible damage.
Therefore, this high-performance curing light must only be operated by trained
professionals.
CAUTION :
When the curing light being used for over 10 seconds, it is recommended to
cool down for 5 minutes before starting the next curing cycle to avoid the
patient being burned by the high temperature fiber-optic probe.
(E) Handpiece Display Panel Descriptions
1. Ensure the charger stand is plugged in.
2. Press the fiber-optic probe flat onto the radiometer sensor.
3. Start a curing cycle and take the light intensity reading.
Note: Any movement of the device while measuring the light intensity will result in
variations of the reading.
Note: To Change the temperature reading measurement unit, press the °C/°F switch.

full power light output for ultrafast performance to cure all resin-based
restoratives in 1, 2 or 3 seconds.

minimizes composite shrinkage on curing the indirect restorations e.g.
crown, bridges, veneer, onlay or inlay.
: Pulse Mode,switching with high and low light output in less heat effect for
clinical flexibility using for curing liner, bonding adhesives and the resin
cement pre-cure.

CAUTION: Lithium Battery
1. Please charge and store the battery in a cool environment.
2. If the battery is warm after charging, wait for the battery to cool before
using to maximize the battery life.
3. Avoid storing the battery in a fully charged state, as it will shorten the
battery lifespan. If the battery is fully charged, emit the unit for about 20
seconds before storing.
4. Avoid storing the battery when nearly empty as self-consumption will
result in excessive discharge and prevent further charging. If the battery
is empty, charge for 10-20 minutes before storing.
5. When storing the battery, do not place on the charger stand to avoid
overcharge.
6. Please charge/discharge the battery every 2 months when not used.
7. Please discard the battery according to manufacturer's instructions and
recycle the battery.
8. Do not dispose in fire to prevent injury or burns.
9. Avoid the battery from contacting any metal objects or it will short circuit.
Remove and reconnect the battery module if any short circuiting occurs.
10. Do not disassemble.
11. Do not crush.
12. Keep the battery dry.

using to maximize the battery life.

Sistema de refrigeración:
>> Este dispositivo está diseñado con un ventilador incorporado que se activa
automáticamente siempre que el dispositivo esté en uso y continuará
funcionando durante unos segundos después de que haya terminado el ciclo.
>> Si la temperatura supera 45°C, el ventilador continuará funcionando hasta
que la temperatura interna se haya enfriado.
>> Si la temperatura supera 65°C, el dispositivo se apagará automáticamente y
el ventilador continuará funcionando. Cuando se haya enfriado la temperatura
interna, se puede volver a encender.
>> Si la unidad necesita ser utilizado continuamente, por favor disminuya el tiempo
de curado.
>> Según la premisa de no tocar el tejido oral, cuando se utiliza la lámpara de fotocurado
o cambia el área de tratamiento o cualquiera configuración de la operación, es

esterilizado por autoclave de forma independiente.

Esterilización de la sonda de fibra óptica:
Despúes de cada tartamiento, la sonda de fibra óptica debe ser desinfectada o
esterilizada. Envuelva completamente la sonda de fibra óptica en la bolsa de
esterilización, la esterilice por autoclave a 132°C/75 psi durante 4 minutos por
utilizando un esterilizador de prevacío para obtener los máximos resultados.
Permita la sonda de fibra óptica que se seque al aire durante 20-30 minutos en
la bolsa de esterilizacion antes de retirar.
Limpieza del producto:
Si existe alguna suciedad o mancha en la superficie del panel de control o
pieza de mano, utilice un paño para limpiar. Si es difícil realizar la limpieza,
utilice un agente de limpieza neutro. Se recomienda alcohol isopropílico al 70%.
