INTRODUCTION
Thank you, and congratulaons on purchasing a Backyard Pro Butcher Series 5 lb. sausage stuer.
Your stuer comes complete with everything you need to safely and easily stu sausage. Please take
a few minutes to read through this booklet to learn more about your Backyard Pro Butcher Series
sausage stuer. Your stuer is made of the nest materials to ensure extended use for all of your meat
processing needs.

CAUTION! Any me the piston is raised out of the cylinder, release the handle slowly!
Pressure or gravity could cause the handle to spin back slightly causing injury!
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Clean the parts with soap and water, and ax the tube.
Step 2: Aach the handle with nut, and then turn the handle counter-clockwise so that the piston
moves out of the cylinder.
Step 3: Take the cylinder out and put meat inside.
Step 4: Put the cylinder back.
Step 5: Turn the handle clockwise so that the piston moves into the cylinder. This will begin to push the
meat into the casing.
Step 6: Repeat step 3 through 5.
Step 7: When nished, to be sure to clean all parts properly with warm soapy water, let them dry,
and reassemble.
MAINTENANCE
1. Remove piston and cylinder aer using, and wash with warm soapy water.
2. Dry body and reassemble, and wipe the body.
WARNING: Always be as thorough as possible when cleaning and sanizing components. Any
parts exposed to raw meat may harbor or develop bacteria causes illness or death.
WARNING: When cleaning with sanizers, always follow the manufacturer’s recommendaons.
Never use products that cause exposed surfaces to render meat unsafe for consumpon.
Failure to follow this warning may lead to sickness or death!

TROUBLE-SHOOTING
Problem(s) Soluons
The stuer is hard to crank. 1. Sausage mixture has become too s. Add water to mix
2. Add lubricant (mineral oil or vegetable oil) to the piston gasket
and the interior of the cylinder.
Meat is passing by the piston. 1. Gasket is not installed.
2. Gasket needs to be lubricated.
Casings are bursng when lling. 1. Casings are old and brile.
2. Casings were not soaked long enough.
3. Casings were soaked too long.
4. Casings should not have been soaked.
5. Casings were lled too ghtly.
6. Stung Tube has a burr and is puncturing the casing.
7. Stung tube is too large for casings.

DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
• Equipment sold or used outside the Connental United States
• Backyard Pro Butcher Series has the sole discreon on wearable parts not covered under warranty
• Equipment not purchased directly from an authorized dealer
• Equipment that has been altered, modied, or repaired by anyone other than an authorized service agency
• Equipment where the serial number plate has been removed or altered.
• Damage or failure due to improper installaon, improper ulity connecon or supply, and issues resulng from
improper venlaon or airow.
• Defects and damage due to improper maintenance, wear and tear, misuse, abuse, vandalism, or Act of God.
Any acon for breach of this warranty must be commenced within 6 months of the date on which the breach occurred.
No modicaon of this warranty, or waiver of its terms, shall be eecve unless approved in a wring signed by the pares.
The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall govern this warranty and the pares’ rights and dues under it.
Backyard Pro Butcher Series shall not under any circumstances be liable for incidental or consequenal damages of any
kind, including but not limited to loss of prots.
Backyard Pro Butcher Series warrants its equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of
6 months. This is the sole and exclusive warranty made by Backyard Pro Butcher Series covering your Backyard Pro Butcher
Series brand equipment. A claim under this warranty must be made within 6 months from the date of purchase of the
equipment. Only the equipment’s original purchaser may make a claim under this warranty. Backyard Pro Butcher Series
reserves the right to approve or deny the repair or replacement of any part or repair request. The warranty is not transferable.
