The precautions described in this manual must be followed to ensure safe use of this product
and prevent hazards to you and other people, as well as damage to the product.

Doing so may have an effect on the safeguards, causing overheating,
rupture, or ignition.
Do not use the Battery Pack if an abnormal situation such as
abnormal odor, overheating, discoloration, and deformation occurs
during use, charging, or storage. Doing so may cause overheating,
rupture, ignition, or electric shock.
WARNING

Do not allow metal or other materials to come into contact with the
metal terminal.
Do not transport or store with metallic necklaces, hair pins, etc.
Doing so may cause overheating, rupture, or ignition.
Do not solder directly onto the metal terminal.
The heat from soldering may cause the insulation to melt or damage
the gas discharge valve or the safeguards, resulting in overheating,
rupture, or ignition.
Do not place the product on uneven or unstable surfaces such as
thick carpets. Doing so may cause poor contact between the Dock
and the main unit, resulting in overheating.

The product is not fully charged at purchase.
Be sure to charge the product before using for the first time.
Note also that the product will discharge even when not in use.
If the product has not been used for an extended period, charge the
product before use.
Do not use, charge, or store in a location accessible by young children.
Unsupervised handling of the product can be dangerous.

his product is for use only with BALMUDA products. Please see the
individual instruction manual to determine compatibility with this product.
Please use only under the specified charging conditions. Charging
under any other conditions (such as at temperatures outside the
specified range, voltages/current greater than the specified rating, or
with a modified charger) may cause overheating, rupture, or ignition,
resulting in injury or damage to the product.

Avoid using the product in rooms with pets whenever possible.
Because incorrect use of the product may cause an accident or fire,
keep an eye on any pets in the room where the product is being used.
Stop charging after the specified charging time even if charging is
not complete.
Charging beyond the specified charging time may cause overheating,
rupture, or ignition.

Be sure to use, charge, and store the product in a location with
minimal humidity or dust. Failure to do so may cause overheating,
fire, or electric shock.
If the battery leaks, do not allow the leaked fluid to come into contact
with skin or the eyes. If the fluid comes into contact with the skin,
inflammation may occur. Rinse the area with a small amount of soap
and plenty of water.
If the fluid enters the eye, inflammation may occur. Immediately rinse
the eye, and seek immediate medical assistance. If the fluid is
ingested, inflammation may occur in the respiratory organs.

WARNING

Use the cell or battery only in the application for which it was intended.
When recycling the Battery Pack, use plastic tape or some other
means to cover the metal terminals. Failure to do so may cause a
short-circuit resulting in fire or smoke.
When transporting the product, pack it firmly to prevent drops
and short-circuits with the metal terminal. Failure to do so may
cause overheating, rupture, or ignition.

Do not place any objects on top of the product, or place the product
in a location from where it can fall. Doing so may cause a malfunction,
damage to the product, or injury.
CAUTION
Do not use the device in a location where temperatures may fall
below 10°C or exceed 35°C. Doing so may cause battery leakage,
overheating, rupture, or ignition.
Do not place in direct sunlight or other high-temperature locations.
Doing so may cause deformation, discoloration, or leakage of the
battery.
Do not use the product if the AC adapter cable is damaged or if the
plug cannot be firmly inserted into the terminal.
Doing so may cause fire or electric shock.

The product includes safeguards to prevent dangerous situations.
Do not use, charge, or store the product in a location where static
electricity may affect these safeguards.
Doing so may cause overheating, rupture, or ignition.
Do not remove battery from its original packaging until required
for use.
Wipe the battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Doing so may cause electric shock or injury.

CAUTION
Be sure to lock the Battery Pack in place after attachment.
Failure to do so may result in the Battery Pack being dropped, causing injury.
Connect the Battery Pack and Dock to The GreenFan slowly.
Forceful connections may cause damage, overheating, fire, or electric
shock.
When unplugging the AC adapter from the Dock, be sure to pull on
the plug only. Pulling on or bending the power cord may cause a
break in the cord or other damage.
When not using the Battery Pack for an extended period, remove it
from the main unit, and store it in a cool, dry location.
Failure to do so may cause overheating, fire, or electric shock.
Insert the AC adapter plug securely into the Dock.
Failure to insert the plug securely may cause fire or electric shock.

Use a dry cloth to regularly wipe off any dust or dirt that adheres to
the Dock. Do not use organic solvents or other cleaning agents.
Dust and moisture may cause insulation failure, resulting in
overheating or fire.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Do not clean or inspect the product without first removing the
Battery Pack and disconnecting the AC adapter from the power
outlet. Doing so may cause injury.
Do not remove the Battery Pack while the power is turned on.
Doing so may cause injury.

Disposal of waste batteries and electrical and
electronic equipment
This symbol on the product, the battery or on the packaging indicates that the product and the battery shall not be treated as
household waste. On certain batteries this symbol might be used in combination with a chemical symbol. The chemical symbols for
mercury (Hg) or lead (Pb) are added if the battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury or 0.004% lead. By ensuring these products
and batteries are disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potentially negative consequences for the environment and human
health which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling. The recycling of the materials will help to conserve natural
resources. Hand the battery over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of waste batteries. For more detailed information
about recycling of this product or battery, please contact your local Civic Office, your household waste disposal service or the shop
where you purchased the product or battery.
Notice for lithium batteries : Please hand only discharged batteries over to the collection point. Due to danger of short circuit, please
patch the terminals of the battery with tape. Lithium batteries can be identified by the Li or CR marking on the battery.

Handling of Personal Information
For inquiries on repairs, usage, or maintenance, please call the BALMUDA Europe Service Center ( ), or contact your dealer.
1. Please receive the warranty card from your dealer with the purchase date and the dealer name filled in.
2. The warranty is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. For repairs, please contact the BALMUDA Europe Service Center or
your dealer. The repair will be carried out according to the warranty.
3. Contact the BALMUDA Europe Service Center or your dealer for out-of-warranty repairs. You can request for a repair with charge,
if it enables the product to function properly.
4. Never attempt to repair or modify the product by yourself.

This warranty promises that free repairs will be performed as described in this warranty in the event of a malfunction occurring during normal use according to the Instruction Manual, labels
on the unit and other caution notes during the warranty period.
1) The following cases are not covered by the warranty even during the warranty period, and BALMUDA accepts no responsibility in such cases.
(a) Malfunction or damage caused by failure to follow the instructions in the Instruction Manual, the labels on the unit or any other written precautions (including any use overseas).
(b) Malfunction or damage resulting from misuse, modification or unauthorized repair. (c) Malfunction or damage resulting from moving the product (either within the home or to a new home),
dropping it or mailing it. (d) Malfunction or damage resulting from a fire, earthquake, wind or water damage, lightning or other natural phenomena, or from pollution, salt damage, abnormal
voltage or other external factors. (e) Malfunction or damage resulting from loading on a vehicle or boat or from using in extremely hot, cold, humid or dusty areas, etc. (f) Malfunction or
damage resulting from use outside a standard household (e.g. for commercial purposes.) (g) Failure to present this warranty. (h) If there is no proof of purchase of this product, such as a
receipt, and it is not possible to confirm the date of purchase, customer name and dealer name, or if this information has been altered. (i) Accessories and consumables (unless the damage
was caused by defects in the material or manufacturing). (j) Damage caused to the surface of the product (including scratches and dents). (k) Defects caused by age, natural wear or
improper storage such as in a hot or humid place. (l) If a false declaration was made about the cause of the malfunction.
2) Customers will be responsible for covering shipping fees when shipping a device to a BALMUDA Europe Service center or travel expenses when requesting repairs by a BALMUDA
representative even if within the warranty period.
3) A replacement product may be given instead of repairing, depending on the nature of the malfunction and other circumstances.
4) Recycled parts or replacement parts may be used in the repair. If parts are replaced during the repair, the old parts will be collected by BALMUDA and then processed or disposed of as
appropriate.
5) The warranty period from the time of the original purchase continues to apply after free repairs given according to this warranty (including replacement of the product).
6) BALMUDA will not provide compensation for any damages resulting from being unable to use the purchased product due to the malfunction.
7) Keep this warranty in a safe place and take care not to lose it, as it cannot be reissued.
8) This warranty is valid only within Europe. Effective only in Europe.
This warranty promises free repair for the period and conditions specified in this warranty.
It does not limit the legal rights of the customer against the party issuing (in charge of) the warranty or any other dealer.
