2 Safety instructions
This appliance should not be
used by persons (including chil-
dren) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or

3 General safety instructions for
power tools
WARNING! Read all instructions! Failure to
follow all instructions listed below may result in
electric shock, re and/or serious injury!
Save these instructions for future reference!
The term “power tool” in all of the warnings
listed below refers to your mains operated
(corded) power tool or battery operated (cord-
less) power tool.
3.1 Work area
a. Keep work area clean and well lit. Clut-
tered and dark areas invite accidents.
b. Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
ammable liquids, gasses or dust. Power
tools create sparks which may ignite the
dust of fumes.
c. Keep children and bystanders away
while operating a power tool. Distractions
can cause you to lose control.
3.2 Electrical safety
a. Power tool plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do
not use any adapter plugs which
earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmod-
ied plugs and matching outlets will reduce
risk of electric shock.
b. Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces such as pipes, radia-
tors, ranges and refrigerators. There is an
increased risk of electric shock if your body
is earthed or grounded.
c. Do not expose power tools to rain or
wet conditions. Water entering a power
tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
d. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the
cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging
the power tool. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the
risk of electric shock.
e. When operating a power tool outdoors,
use an extension cord suitable for out-
door use. Use of a cord suitable for out-
door use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f. Always use tool in conjunction with a
residual circuit breaker device. The use
of a residual circuit breaker device reduces
the risk of electric shock.
3.3 Personal safety
a. Stay alert, watch what you are doing
and use common sense when operating
a power tool. Do not use a power tool
while you are tired or under the inuence

of drugs, alcohol or medication. A
moment of inattention while operating
power tools may result in serious personal
injury.
b. Use safety equipment. Always wear eye
protection. Safety equipment such as dust
mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or
hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c. Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the
switch is in the off position before plug-
ging in. Carrying power tools with your
nger on the switch or plugging in power
tools that have the switch on invites
accidents.
d. Remove any adjusting key or wrench
before turning the power tool on. A
wrench or a key left attached to a rotating
part of the power tool may result in per-
sonal injury.
e. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times. This enables
better control of the power tool in unex-
pected situations.
f. Dress properly. Do not wear loose cloth-
ing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing
and gloves away from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
g. If devices are provided for the connec-
tion of dust extraction and collection
facilities, ensure these are connected
and properly used. The use of these
pieces of equipment reduce hazards
caused by dust.
3.4 Power tool use and care
a. Do not force the power tool. Use the
correct power tool for your application.
The correct power tool will do the job better
and safer at the rate for which it was
designed.
b. Do not use the power tool if the switch
does not turn it on and off. Any power
tool that cannot be controlled with the
switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c. Disconnect the plug from the power
source before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing power
tools. Such preventive safety measures
reduce the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
d. Store idle power tools out of the reach
of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
e. Maintain power tools. Check for mis-
alignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condi-
tion that may affect the power tools
operation. If damaged, have the power
tool repaired before use. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power
tools.
f. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with
sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind
and are easier to control.
g. Use the power tool, accessories and
tool bits etc., in accordance with these
instructions and in the manner intended
for the particular type of power tool,
taking into account the working condi-
tions and the work to be performed. Use
of the power tool for operations different
from intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
3.5 Service
a. Please use a qualied expert who uses
original replacement parts to repair your
power tool. This will ensure proper func-
tioning of the power tool.
4 Additional safety instructions
When using electric tools, basic safety
precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of re, electric shock
and personal injury.
Read all these instructions before
attempting to operate this product and
save these instructions.
4.1 Before using the appliance
• Check the following:
– Make sure the voltage of the hot air gun
corresponds with the power voltage;
– Are the mains lead and the mains plug in a
good state: strong, without ravels or

damages.
• Caution is advised when using long exten-
sion cables.
• Do not use the appliance under moist
circumstances;
• The metal mouthpiece gets hot. Watch out
and do not touch the metal mouthpiece;
• Prevent damage of the heating element. Do
not lock or block the mouth piece;
• Do not leave the appliance when switched
on;
• When in operation do not point the device
at people or animals.
• Never look into the hot air nozzle.
• Do not use this device in rain or damp
surroundings, or near explosive or amma-
ble products.
• Do not use the device on or near very dry
spots to avoid re.
• Always remove the plug from the socket
when not using the device, when replacing
the nozzles or during maintenance of the
device.
• Do not point the device at the same place
for longer periods of time.
• Do not hold the device too close to the
surface about to be worked on as the
device can overheat.
• Pay attention to the direct / indirect work-
space as the heat can ignite ammable
materials, which are close by but not nec-
essarily in view.
• Do not allow the hot parts of the device to
touch the cord or other ammable
materials.
• The device should always be clean, dry and
free of grease and oil.
• Do not use the appliance for purposes
other than for which it is intended.
• Never run while holding the unit in your
hands.
• Always leave the cable to the rear, away
from the unit itself.
• This appliance must not be operated by
children.
This appliance operates at a
temperature of 600 degrees without
visible signs of this temperature (no
ames), still there is a chance of re
risk. Watch out for the hot air stream
from the mouth piece. This air stream
can cause burns.
There is a risk of re if the appliance is
not used with care, so please take note
of the following:
• Please be cautious with the device when
you are near ammable materials.
• Never leave the appliance unattended
when it is switched on.
4.2 When operating the appliance
• If you are going to use the hot air gun,
vapours and gas can be released during a
short time. This can be harmful for your
health. Asthmatics can suffer hindrance of it;
• Before connecting the plug to the mains
voltage you have to check if the switch is in
position “0”;
• Keep the mains lead always away from the
mouthpiece of the hot air gun;
• Keep children and animals away from the
appliance if you are using it.
• Keep all parts of the body away from the
metal heating head. Do not touch it before
it is cooled down.
• Carry the appliance by the handle when the
metal heating head is cooled down.
• Hold the appliance by insulated gripping
surfaces only, because the metal heating
head may contact hidden wiring or its own
cord.
4.3 Immediately switch off the appliance
when:
• Plug and/or cable are defective or
damaged;
• The switch is defective;
• You smell or see smoke caused by
scorched insulation from the hot air gun.
4.4 Electrical safety
When using electric machines always observe
the safety regulations applicable in your country
to reduce the risk of re, electric shock and
personal injury. Read the following safety
instructions and also the enclosed safety
instructions.

Always check that the power supply
corresponds to the voltage on the
rating plate.

– You don’t need any earthed plug.
4.5 Using extension cables
Only extension cables of type H05RN-F may be
used. Only use an approved extension cable
suitable for the power input of the machine. The
minimum conductor size is 1.0 mm2. When
using a cable reel always unwind the reel com-
pletely Inadequate extension cords can be
dangerous.
If an extension cord is used, it shall be suitable
for outdoor use, and the connection has to be
kept dry and off the ground. It is recommended
that this is accomplished by means of a cord
reel which keeps the socket at least 60 mm
above the ground.
4.6 Connecting to power supply
This product is designed with a cord retainer
that prevents the extension cord from being
pulled loose while using.
NOTE: Always use cord retainer to properly
attach extension cord to the machine. Failure to
use cord retainer may result in damage to the
machine and/or extension cord.
• Form a loop with the end of the extension
cord.
• Insert loop portion of extension cord
through opening and place over cord
retainer.
• Slowly pull loop against cord retainer until
the slack is removed.
• Plug product into extension cord.
NOTE: Failure to remove all excess cord slack
from extension cord retainer could result in plug
loosening from receptacle.

tion! Dispose of these materials responsibly!
Keep all the parts that are supplied with it in a
safe place.

possible faults.

8 Operation
8.1 Before use
Always use with caution! Do not
cover the ventilation openings during
use as it causes a risk of burns!
Do not touch the hot nozzle!
8.2 Temperature settings:
With the temperature switch (6) you can select
from two temperature settings. Depending on
the application, you can use the following
settings:
Setting I 50°C (venting / cooling)
Setting II 600°C
The volume of air in each setting 500L /Minute.
8.3 To turn on the power:
– Push the switch (6) in position I or position
II.
8.4 To turn off the appliance:
– Push the switch on position “0”.

8.5 To install the nozzle:
The nozzles can easily be pushed over the hot
air nozzle. Never touch the nozzles during or
immediately after use of the device. The nozzles
are very hot.
8.6 Rotating handle:
The device has two handle positions (see Fig. C)
Position 1 is suitable for killing weeds and ignit-
ing the BBQ. In position 2, the device can be
used as a hot air gun.
To change the handle position (see Fig. C):
• Press the release button (3).
• Turn the handle (7) to the desired position.
• Make sure that the release button (3) has
been locked again.
9 Option 1: Weed Killer
9.1 Assemble the extension handle:

The extension handle consists of two parts.
Connect both parts and attach the extension
handle to the device. To attach the extension,
place the extension handle in the machine and
turn the extension handle a quarter turn to the
right. Make sure that the extension handle rmly
clicks into position. If using the device as a
weed killer you must use the extension handle.
Hold the weed killer rmly by holding the end of
the extension handle.
9.2 Use:
• Ensure the extension handle is rmly xed
onto the device and that the device is
turned off.
• Turn the device to position 1 (see Fig. C)
• Install the nozzle (9) to destroy weeds.
• Insert the plug into the socket.
• Check to ensure the nozzle is not blocked
before turning the device on.
• Set the temperature to setting II.
• Allow the device about 45 seconds to
warm up.
• To eliminate weeds, hold the nozzle over
the weeds for about 5 seconds. During
these 5 seconds the cell structure of the
weed is destroyed. As a result, the weed
dies within a few days.
• It is not necessary to completely burn the
weeds, 5 seconds is more than sufcient.
• For an efcient treatment the nozzle should
be held around 0 to 5 cm above the
weeds.
• The effects are not visible immediately but
will take a while before they can be seen. It
is more of a long-term effect.
• In the case of very leafy plants, the treat-
ment may have to be repeated several
times at intervals of 1 – 2 weeks.
10 Option 2: Specic weed killer
• Ensure the extension handle is rmly xed
onto the device and that the device is
turned off.
• Turn the device to position 1 (see Fig. C)
• Install the Heat-pin (11) to heat-treat the
weed.
• Insert the plug into the socket.
• Set the temperature switch in position “II”.
• Allow the device about 60 seconds to
warm up.
• Position the heat-pin in the middle of the
weed, and push the pin into the weed, up
to the mark, and retract the heat-pin from
the soil after about 2 seconds.
• The effect of the treatment will not be
immediately obvious as it can take several

days before it is visible, but it will have a
long-term effect.
• Use the heat-pin only on the lawn and
loose soil. Do not use on rocky soil as the
heat-pin could break off.
• On some occasions, a small brown spot of
burned grass can occur, but this will
recover very soon.
11 Option 3: Paint removal
The paint removal is always done without the
use of the extension handle. Remove the exten-
sion handle by turning the extension handle a
quarter turn to the left and pull the extension
handle from the device.
The paint removal can be used for various pur-
poses, such as::
• Removing old paint and gloss.
• Removing self-adhesive labels.
• Bonding of PVC labels.
• Removing vinyl wallpaper.
• Fast drying of damp equipment.
• Shrink packaging.
• Defrosting of water pipes.
• Loosening of nuts and bolts.
11.1Use:
• Remove the extension handle.
• Turn the device to position 2 (Fig. C)
• Attach a desired nozzle onto the device.
• Insert the plug into the socket.
• Check to ensure the nozzle is not blocked
before turning the device on.
• Set the temperature to setting II.
12 Option 4: BBQ-/Fireplace
lighter
The BBQ and replace lighter is always to be
used without the extension handle. Remove the
extension handle by turning the extension han-
dle a quarter turn to the left and pull the exten-
sion handle from the device.
12.1Use:
• Attach the BBQ nozzle (10) onto the device
• Select temperature setting III.
• Place the nozzle under the coal or the
wood.
• Ensure that the relighter is properly
positioned
• Insert the plug into the socket
• Check to ensure the nozzle is not blocked
before turning the device on.
• Remove the device from the coals or the
wood as soon as it starts to glow
• Now blow hot air into the coals or wood
from a distance of around 5 – 10 cm, until
the coals or wood is burning properly.
• Doing this will help to avoid damaging the
nozzle attachment. Exposing the nozzle to
high temperatures for a prolonged period of
time could cause the material to melt.
Please follow these instructions to achieve
long-term enjoyment with the product.
• Switch off the device before removing from
the re.
Watch Out! To avoid overheating of the BBQ or
Fireplace do not use the device for longer than
necessary.
13 Cooling down
13.1After each use
1. Leave device to run for at least one minute
in position I.
2. Switch off the device.
3. Pull the plug out of the socket.
4. Allow the appliance to cool down further.
5. Remove the accessories.
13.2Option 1, 2 (weed killer) and 4 (BBQ /
relighter):
With the aid of the stand (2), it is possible to lay
down the appliance while it is cooling down.

14 Cleaning
NOTE! Make sure that the device has com-
pletely cooled down before cleaning and
remove the plug from the socket.
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the venti-
lation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt
does not come off use a soft cloth moistened
with soapy water. Never use solvents such as
petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.
15 Maintenance and Repair
Firstly let the unit run in position I for at least one
minute to lower the temperature to 50 degrees
Celsius.
Disconnect the mains plug from the socket and
allow the appliance to cool down completely!
If possible, clean the appliance after each use.
Use a damp cloth, on stubborn dirt use a brush.
Do not use cleaning agents such as benzine,
alcohol, ammonia, etc. These substances
attack the plastic parts.

The device can be adjusted for each application
so that you can work with it optimally.

When transporting, make sure that the device
does not get damp and that it is protected
against impacts.
17 Storage
Make sure the unit has fully cooled down before
storing.
• Clean the device after use.
• Store the device in a dry environment.
• Store the device in a dust-free environment.
• Keep the appliance away from children.
• Keep the appliance in a dry place with a
temperature between 5°C and 30°C.
• Keep the original packaging of the heat
gun.
18 Disposal
Do not dispose of electric power tools
with domestic refuse. The electric power
tool is shipped in packaging to reduce
transport damage. This packaging is a raw
material and as such can either be reused or
can be fed back into the raw material cycle. The
electric power tool and its accessories are
made from various materials such as metals
and plastics. Take defective components to a
special refuse collection point. Ask about these
at your specialist shop or local council.

Brand und/oder schwere Verletzungen
verursachen!
Bewahren Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise und
Anweisungen für die Zukunft auf.
Der in den Sicherheitshinweisen verwendete
Begriff „Gerät“ bezieht sich auf netzbetriebene
Geräte (mit Netzkabel) und auf akkubetriebene
Geräte (ohne Netzkabel).
22.1Arbeitsplatzsicherheit
a. Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich sauber
und gut beleuchtet. Unordnung oder
unbeleuchtete Arbeitsbereiche können zu
Unfällen führen.
b. Arbeiten Sie mit dem Gerät nicht in
explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung, in
der sich brennbare Flüssigkeiten, Gase
oder Staub benden. Geräte erzeugen
Funken, die den Staub oder die Dämpfe
entzünden können.
c. Halten Sie Kinder und andere Personen
während der Benutzung des Geräts fern.
Bei Ablenkung können Sie die Kontrolle
über das Gerät verlieren.
22.2Elektrische Sicherheit
a. Der Anschlussstecker des Gerätes muss
in die Steckdose passen. Der Stecker
darf in keiner Weise verändert werden.
Verwenden Sie keine Adapterstecker
gemeinsam mit schutzgeerdeten Gerä-
ten. Unveränderte Stecker und passende
Steckdosen verringern das Risiko eines
elektrischen Schlages.

b. Vermeiden Sie Körperkontakt mit geer-
deten Oberächen wie Rohren, Heizun-
gen, Herden und Kühlschränken. Es
besteht ein erhöhtes Risiko durch elektri-
schen Schlag, wenn Ihr Körper geerdet ist.
c. Halten Sie das Gerät von Regen oder
Nässe fern. Das Eindringen von Wasser in
ein Gerät erhöht das Risiko eines elektri-
schen Schlages.
d. Zweckentfremden Sie das Kabel nicht,
um das Gerät zu tragen, aufzuhängen
oder um den Stecker aus der Steckdose
zu ziehen. Halten Sie das Kabel fern von
Hitze, Öl, scharfen Kanten oder sich
bewegenden Geräteteilen. Beschädigte
oder verwickelte Kabel erhöhen das Risiko
eines elektrischen Schlages.
e. Wenn Sie mit einem Gerät im Freien
arbeiten, verwenden Sie nur Verlänge-

22.3Sicherheit von Personen
a. Seien Sie aufmerksam, achten Sie dar-
auf, was Sie tun und gehen Sie mit Ver-
nunft an die Arbeit mit einem Gerät.
Benutzen Sie kein Gerät, wenn Sie müde
sind oder unter dem Einuss von Dro-
gen, Alkohol oder Medikamenten ste-
hen. Ein Moment der Unachtsamkeit beim
Gebrauch des Gerätes kann zu ernsthaften
Verletzungen führen.
b. Tragen Sie persönliche Schutzausrüs-
tung und immer eine Schutzbrille. Das
Tragen persönlicher Schutzausrüstung, wie
Staubmaske, rutschfeste Sicherheits-
schuhe, Schutzhelm oder Gehörschutz, je
nach Art und Einsatz des Gerätes, verrin-
gert das Risiko von Verletzungen.
c. Vermeiden Sie eine unbeabsichtigte
Inbetriebnahme. Vergewissern Sie sich,
dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist, bevor
Sie es an die Stromversorgung und/oder
den Akku anschließen, es aufnehmen
oder tragen. Wenn Sie beim Tragen des
Gerätes den Finger am Schalter haben
oder das Gerät eingeschaltet an die Strom-
versorgung anschließen, kann dies zu
Unfällen führen.
d. Entfernen Sie Einstellwerkzeuge oder

g. Wenn Staubabsaugung und Staub- auf-
fangeinrichtungen montiert werden
können, vergewissern Sie sich, dass
diese angeschlossen sind und richtig
verwendet werden. Verwendung einer
Staubabsaugung kann Gefährdungen
durch Staub verringern.
22.4Verwendung und Behandlung des
Elektrowerkzeuges
a. Überlasten Sie das Gerät nicht. Verwen-
den Sie für Ihre Arbeit das dafür
bestimmte Gerät. Mit dem passenden
Gerät arbeiten Sie besser und sicherer im
angegebenen Leistungsbereich.
b. Benutzen Sie kein Gerät, dessen Schal-
ter defekt ist. Ein Gerät, das sich nicht
mehr ein- oder ausschalten lässt, ist
gefährlich und muss repariert werden.
c. Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steck-
dose und/oder entfernen Sie den Akku,
bevor Sie Geräteeinstellungen vorneh-
men, Zubehörteile wechseln oder das
Gerät weglegen. Diese Vorsichtsmaß-

nahme verhindert den unbeabsichtigten
Start des Gerätes.
d. Bewahren Sie unbenutzte Geräte außer-
halb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
Lassen Sie Personen das Gerät nicht
benutzen, die mit diesem nicht vertraut
sind oder diese Anweisungen nicht
gelesen haben. Geräte sind gefährlich,
wenn sie von unerfahrenen Personen
benutzt werden.
e. Pegen Sie das Gerät mit Sorgfalt. Kon-
trollieren Sie, ob bewegliche Geräteteile
einwandfrei funktionieren und nicht
klemmen, ob Teile gebrochen oder so
beschädigt sind, dass die Funktion des
Gerätes beeinträchtigt ist. Lassen Sie
beschädigte Teile vor dem Einsatz des
Gerätes reparieren. Viele Unfälle haben
ihre Ursache in schlecht gewarteten
Geräten.
f. Halten Sie Schneidwerkzeuge scharf
und sauber. Sorgfältig gepegte Schneid-
werkzeuge mit scharfen Schneidkanten
verklemmen sich weniger und sind leichter
zu führen.
g. Verwenden Sie Gerät, Zubehör, Einsatz-
werkzeuge usw. entsprechend diesen
Anweisungen. Berücksichtigen Sie dabei
die Arbeitsbedingungen und die auszu-
führende Tätigkeit. Der Gebrauch von
Geräten für andere als die vorgesehenen
Anwendungen kann zu gefährlichen Situati-
onen führen.
22.5Service
a. Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät nur von qualizier-
tem Fachpersonal und nur mit Origi-
nal-Ersatzteilen reparieren. Damit wird
sichergestellt, dass die Sicherheit des
Gerätes erhalten bleibt.
23 Zusätzliche
Sicherheitshinweise
Beim Umgang mit elektrischen
Werkzeugen sollten stets die
Sicherheitsvorkehrungen beachtet
werden, um das Risiko von Feuer,
Stromschlag und Verletzungen zu
reduzieren.
Nachstehende Hinweise sollten, bevor
das Gerät in Betrieb genommen wird,
durchgelesen und anschließend
aufbewahrt werden.
23.1Vor dem Einsatz des Geräts
• Ist folgendes zu prüfen:
– Sicherstellen, dass der auf das Gerät
angegebene Spannungswert mit dem Wert
der Versorgungsspannung übereinstimmt.
– Netzkabel und Netzstecker auf
ordnungsgemäßen Zustand prüfen: Kabel
und Stecker müssen ausreichend groß
bemessen sein; das Kabel darf nicht
verknotet oder beschädigt sein.
• Es ist Vorsicht geboten bei dem Verwenden
von langen Verlängerungskabeln.
• Das Gerät darf nicht in feuchter Umgebung
verwendet werden.
• Die metallischen Düsen werden heiß. Des-
halb aufpassen und diese nicht berühren.
Verwenden Sie Schutzhandschuhe.
• Eine Beschädigung des Heizelements
vermeiden. Die Düse weder verschließen
noch blockieren.
• Das Gerät im eingeschalteten Zustand nicht
unbeaufsichtigt lassen.
• Richten Sie niemals das eingeschaltete
Gerät auf Personen oder Tiere.
• Schauen Sie niemals in die Heißluftdüse.
• Gebrauchen Sie dieses Gerät nicht im
Regen oder bei Wasser, oder in der Nähe
von explosionsgefährdeten oder leicht
entzündbaren Geräten.
• Gebrauchen Sie das Gerät nicht an sehr
trockenen Stellen, um Brandgefahr zu
vermeiden.
• Ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der
Steckdose, wenn nicht mit dem Gerät
gearbeitet wird, wenn Düsen ausgewech-
selt werden sollen, oder bei Wartung.
• Richten Sie das Gerät niemals längere Zeit
auf ein und dieselbe Stelle.
• Halten Sie die Düse nicht zu nah an die zu
bearbeitende Oberäche. Das Gerät kann
hierdurch überhitzt werden.
• Achten Sie auf den direkten-/indirekten
Arbeitsbereich. Die Wärme kann an ent-
zündbare Materialien gelangen, welche sich
nicht im Sichtfeld benden.

• Die Anschlussleitung oder andere brenn-
bare Materialien dürfen nicht mit den heißen
Teilen des Geräts in Berührung kommen.
• Das Gerät soll immer sauber, trocken und
frei von Fett und Öl sein.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals für
andere Zwecke als den, wofür es bestimmt
ist.
• Niemals rennen während Sie das Gerät in
den Händen halten.
• Das Kabel bitte immer nach hinten führen,
weg vom Gerät selbst.
• Dieses Gerät darf nicht von Kindern bedient
werden.
Dieses Gerät funktioniert mit einer
Temperatur von 600 Grad, ohne dass
sichtbare Anzeichen dieser Temperatur
vorhanden sind (keine Flammen);
dennoch besteht Feuergefahr. Auf den
aus der Düse austretenden
Heißluftstrom aufpassen. Der
Heißluftstrom kann Verbrennungen
hervorrufen.
Brandgefahr besteht, wenn das Gerät
nicht mit Vorsicht benutzt wird, daher
beachten Sie bitte folgendes:
• Bitte vorsichtig mit dem Gerät umgehen,
wenn Sie sich in der Nähe von entammba-
ren Materialien benden.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt,
wenn es eingeschaltet ist.
23.2Während des Einsatzes des Geräts
• Während des Einsatzes das Gerät können
kurzzeitig Dämpfe und Gase freigesetzt
werden. Dies kann gesundheitsgefährlich
sein. Insbesondere für Asthmatiker kann
dies problematisch werden.
• Vor dem Anschließen des Steckers an die
Netzsteckdose ist sicherzustellen, dass
sich der Schalter in der Stellung „0“
bendet.
• Das Netzkabel stets von der Düse das
Gerät fernhalten.
• Kinder und Tiere während des Einsatzes
stets vom Gerät fernhalten.
• Halten Sie alle Körperteile vom Heizelement
und Hitzeschild (einschließlich Düse) fern.
Berühren Sie keine heiße Oberäche, bevor
diese völlig abgekühlt ist. Es besteht
Verbrennungsgefahr!
• Tragen Sie das Gerät am Griff nach abge-

23.3Das Gerät in den folgender Fällen
sofort Ausschalten:
• Wenn Stecker bzw. Kabel beschädigt sind.
• Wenn der Schalter beschädigt ist.
• Wenn durch eine verbrannte Isolierung

verbrannt riecht.
23.4Elektrische Sicherheit
Beachten Sie beim Benutzen von Elektrogerä-
ten immer die örtlichen Sicherheitsvorschriften
bezüglich Feuerrisiko, Elektroschock und
Verletzung.
Überprüfen Sie immer, ob Ihre
Netzspannung der des Typenschilds
entspricht.

23.5Verwendung von Verlängerungskabeln
Es dürfen nur Verlängerungskabel der Bauart
H05RN-F verwendet werden. Benutzen Sie nur
ein genehmigtes Verlängerungskabel, das der
Geräteleistung entspricht. Die Adern müssen
einen Mindestquerschnitt von 1,0 mm2haben.
Bendet das Kabel sich auf einem Haspel muss
es völlig abgerollt werden.
Ungeeignete Verlängerungskabel können
gefährlich sein. Wenn ein Verlängerungskabel
verwendet wird, muss es für den Außeneinsatz
geeignet sein, und die Verbindung muss trocken
sein und oberhalb des Bodens liegen. Es ist
empfohlen, hierzu eine Kabeltrommel zu ver-
wenden, die die Steckdose mindestens 60 mm
über dem Boden hält.

23.6Anschluss an die Stromversorgung
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Kabelhalterung ausge-
stattet, die verhindert, dass das Verlängerungs-
kabel während der Verwendung herausgezogen
wird.
HINWEIS: Verwenden Sie immer die Kabelhal-
terung zur korrekten Befestigung des Verlänge-
rungskabels an das Gerät. Die Nichtverwen-
dung der Kabelhalterung kann zu Schäden an
das Gerät und/oder dem Verlängerungskabel
führen.
• Bilden Sie mit dem Ende des Verlänge-
rungskabels eine Schlaufe.
• Führen Sie den Schlaufenteil des Verlänge-
rungskabels durch die Öffnung und platzie-
ren Sie sie über der Kabelhalterung.
• Ziehen Sie die Schlaufe langsam gegen die
Kabelhalterung, bis das Spiel entfernt ist.
• Stecken Sie das Verlängerungskabel in das
Gerät.
HINWEIS: Wenn das überschüssige Kabelspiel
von der Verlängerungskabelhalterung nicht
entfernt wird, kann es dazu führen, dass der
Stecker aus der Steckdose gezogen wird.

27 Bedienung
27.1In Gebrauch nehmen
Mit Vorsicht in Gebrauch zu neh-
men! Decken Sie die Ventilationsöff-
nungen während des Gebrauchs nicht
ab.
Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr!
Berühren Sie nicht die heißen Düsen!
27.2Temperatureinstellungen:
Mit dem Temperaturschalter (6) können Sie zwi-
schen zwei Temperatureinstellungen wählen.
Abhängig von der Anwendung können Sie fol-
gende Einstellungen wählen:
Stellung I 50°C (Ventilieren/Abkühlen)
Stellung II 600°C
Das Luftvolumen ist in jeder Einstellung 500L/
Min.
27.3Das Gerät einschalten:
– Schieben Sie den Schalter (6) in Stellung I
oder in Stellung II
27.4Das Gerät ausschalten:
– Schieben Sie den Schalter in Stellung „0“
27.5Montieren der Düsen:
Die Düsen können einfach mit dem Bajo-
nett-Verschluss gesichert werden (siehe Abbil-
dung oben). Berühren Sie nie die Heißluftdüse
