alert you to the presence of important operating and maintenance
(servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the product.

familiar with its features, please read this user guide carefully before attempting

All the safety and operating instructions must be read before the product is
operated.
All warnings on the product and in the user guide should be adhered to.
Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
The product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other products, including amplifiers that produce heat.
Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings, as they may
touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could result in a fire or
electric shock.
Only use attachments recommended by the product manufacturer, as they may
cause hazards.
Do not attempt to service this product yourself. Opening or removing covers may
expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards.
Do not turn up the volume while listening to a section with very low level inputs or no
audio signals. If you do, the speaker may be damaged when a peak level section is
suddenly played.
WARNING:
This speaker is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the speaker. THIS IS NOT A TOY.
• The unit is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote control system.
• Do not cover the ventilation opening with items such as newspaper, tablecloths,
curtains etc.
• Do not place this unit close to a strong magnetic eld.
• Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the
finish. Wipe with a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth.
• Do not place speaker too close to ears, it may cause damage to ear drums, espe-
cially in young children. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described
in this manual. Bauhn is not liable for any damage caused to iPod/MP3 player or
any other device. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into
a bath or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or any other liquids.

Outdoor Speaker with Bluetooth® Technology Using the Speaker
Turn on the unit
Press power button (1) for one second, the LED display (9) will flash
on as below.
BLUETOOTH

OPERATION
1. The LED display (9) will show “Bt” and the
LED Indicator (7) will flash at a slow speed.
2. Press and hold PAIR (2) button about 3
seconds and the LED display (9) will show
“PAIr”, and the LED Indicator (7) will ash
at a fast speed.
3. Turn on the Bluetooth
®
function on your
Bluetooth
®
device and start to scan. Select
and activate “Bauhn BT Outdoor” on the
menu list of your Bluetooth
®
device, the LED
display (9) will show “CONN”.
4. Adjust the volume button - (5) or + (6) of the
main unit to your desired level.
5. Adjust tracks using button previous (3)
or next (4).
Turn off the Bluetooth
®
function in your mobile
device to disconnect Bluetooth
®
. Unit will go
back to display Bt on display.
Note:
The Bluetooth
®
works best within a range of
30 Feet (9.144 meters).

LINE IN MODE OPERATION
(AUX MODE)
Connect the supplied 3.5mm cable
into the AUX IN jack (10) on the rear
panel of the speaker and connect the
other end into the audio source player.
Display will show LINE.
OFF MODE
The unit will go to power OFF mode automatically after 15 minutes if there
is no play mode selection. The LED display will turn completely off after
another 15 minutes in order to save power. You can press the power ON/OFF
(button 1) to resume using the unit.
POWER AND CHARGING OPERATION
The speaker can operate with the built-in rechargeable battery. To charge the
built-in battery, please reference below:
• Insert one end of supplied USB cable into the micro USB charge port (11)
on the rear panel of the unit. The USB connector needs to be connected
with universal USB power source like a laptop, PC etc.
• When the unit starts to charge, the front LED indicator (8) will turn yellow.
LED indicator (8) will turn off after the battery is fully charged.
• The battery charging time is about 3-5 hours.
• When you do not want to listen to music for a long period of time, we
suggest you press the Power ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn unit off
to save battery power.

Battery lifetime will last longer if you follow guidelines below for charging and storing.
• The speaker has a built-in rechargeable battery. Make sure the battery has been
fully charged before first use.
• The rst battery charge may take up to 10 hours. The battery will have a better
performance after 3 full charges and discharges. It is better to charge the unit only
after it is completely discharged.
• Recharge and store the unit within the temperature range of 40°F–95°F (05°C–35°C)
• Do not charge the battery for a period longer than 24 hours. Excessive charging may
shorten the battery’s life.
• Turn off the speaker if you are not going to use it for a long period of time.
The display will show ”LO-BATT” when the speaker’s battery power is too low. The
speaker will switch off automatically due to insufficient power. Please follow the user
guide for charging. The speaker cannot work if there is no power in the battery. You
may charge it for a while and then try to switch on again to resume playback.
Important note:
This device is equipped with an energy saving mode: if no signal is given during
15 minutes the device will switch automatically into standby mode in order to save
energy (ERP 2 standard). Please note that low volume setting in the audio source may
be recognized as “no audio signal”: this will affect the capability of signal detection
from the device and can also originate an automatic switch into standby mode. If this
happens, please reactivate the audio signal transmission or increase the volume setting
on the audio source player (MP3 player, etc.), in order to resume playback.
This symbol on the product or in the instructions means that your
electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed at the end
of its life separately from your household waste. There are separate
collection systems for recycling. For more information, please
contact your local authority.

Se deben leer todas las instrucciones de seguridad y funcionamiento antes de utilizar
el producto.
Se deben cumplir todas las advertencias sobre el producto y en el Manual del usuario.
Instalar de acuerdo con las instrucciones del fabricante.
El producto se debe situar lejos de fuentes de calor como radiadores, calefactores,
estufas u otros productos, incluyendo a los amplificadores que generen calor.
Nunca introduzca objetos de ningún tipo en este producto a través de las aberturas, ya
que pueden tocar puntos de voltaje peligroso o poner piezas en cortocircuito, lo que

Encender la unidad
Presionar el botón de encendido (1) durante un segundo, la pantalla LED (9) parpadeará
de la siguiente forma.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DE BLUETOOTH

1. La pantalla LED (9) mostrará “Bt” y el indicador
LED (7) parpadeará a una velocidad lenta.
2. Mantenga pulsado el botón de emparejamiento
(2) unos 3 segundos y la pantalla LED (9) mostrará
“PAIR”, y el indicador LED (7) parpadeará a una
velocidad rápida.
3. Activar la función Bluetooth

de su dispositivo

MODO DE ENTRADA DE LÍNEA
(MODO AUX)
Conectar el cable de 3,5 mm que se
suministra a la toma AUX IN (10) en el
panel posterior del altavoz y conectar
el otro extremo en el reproductor de la
fuente de audio. La pantalla mostrará
el modo LINE.
MODO DE ESPERA
La unidad pasará al modo de apagado automáticamente después de 15
minutos si no hay selección del modo de reproducción. La pantalla LED se
apagará por completo después de 15 minutos más a fin de ahorrar energía.
Puede pulsar el botón de encendido/apagado (botón 1) para reanudar el uso
de la unidad.
ALIMENTACIÓN Y OPERACIÓN DE CARGA
El altavoz puede funcionar con la batería recargable incorporada.
Ver a continuación cómo cargar la batería incorporada:
• Insertar un extremo del cable USB que se suministra en el puerto de
carga micro USB (11) en el panel trasero de la unidad. El conector USB
se debe conectar a una fuente de alimentación universal USB como una
computadora portátil, etc.
• Cuando la unidad comienza a cargarse, el indicador LED frontal (8) se
torna amarillo. El indicador LED (8) se apagará después de que la batería
se cargue por completo.
• El tiempo de carga de la batería es de 3 a 5 horas, aproximadamente.
• Cuando no desee escuchar música durante un largo periodo de tiempo,
le sugerimos que presione el botón de encendido/apagado durante 3
segundos para ahorrar la energía de la batería.

La vida útil de la batería será más extensa si sigue las pautas a continuación para
cargarla y almacenarla.
• El altavoz tiene una batería recargable incorporada. Asegúrese de que la batería esté
completamente cargada antes de su primer uso.
• La primera carga de la batería puede tardar hasta 10 horas. La batería tendrá un
rendimiento mejor después de 3 cargas y descargas completas. Es mejor cargar la
unidad solamente después que esté completamente descargada.
• Recargar y almacenar la unidad dentro del rango de temperatura de 40 °F a 95 °F
(5 °C a 35 °C)
• No cargar la batería por un período mayor que 24 horas. La carga excesiva puede
acortar la vida de la batería.
• Apagar el altavoz si no lo va a utilizar durante un período largo de tiempo.
La pantalla mostrará “LO-BATT” cuando la carga de la batería del altavoz está muy
baja. El altavoz se apagará automáticamente debido a la alimentación insuficiente.
Siga el Manual del usuario para realizar la carga. El altavoz no puede funcionar si la
batería no tiene carga. La puede cargar por un tiempo y luego tratar de encenderlo de
nuevo para reanudar la reproducción.
Nota importante:
Este dispositivo está equipado con un modo de ahorro de energía: si no recibe ninguna
señal durante 15 minutos, el dispositivo pasa automáticamente al modo de espera
para ahorrar energía (ERP 2 estándar). Tenga en cuenta que poner muy bajo el volumen
en la fuente de audio puede que se reconozca como “no hay señal de audio”: esto
afectará a la capacidad de detección de señal desde el dispositivo y también puede
originar un cambio automático al modo de espera. Si esto sucede, por favor reactivar
la transmisión de la señal de audio o aumentar el volumen en el reproductor de la
