Product contents
1. Unpack the speaker and keep all packaging materials until you have made sure
your new speaker is undamaged and in good working order.
WARNING: Plastic wrap can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young
children, so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach.
2. Make sure you find the following items in the package:

Master volume control
1. Make sure all items listed in the product contents at the beginning of this user
manual are included in the packaging box.
2. Read the chapter “IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS” before using for the first
time.
3. Place the speaker in the center of the room, unobstructed by walls, furniture, etc.
4. Turn down the master volume control 4and set the light mode selector 2of
the party light 1to “OFF.”
5. Connect the power adapter 13 to an outlet to power and charge the speaker.
Press the on/off button 9to switch on the speaker.
See chapters “Power connection” and “Battery charging.”
6. Connect your audio source through Bluetooth connection or through the
auxiliary input jack 5.
See chapters “Playback from a connected Bluetooth device” and “Playback from
the auxiliary input.”
7. Connect the microphone 14 .
See chapter “Using the microphone.”
8. Adjust the master volume control as required during playback.
9. Switch on the party light.
See chapter “Using the party light.”
Note: You can connect your audio sources through the Bluetooth connection and
auxiliary input jack at the same time to mix music.

Power connection
1. Place the speaker on a flat and level surface that is free from vibration.
2. Connect the power plug 12 into the DC input jack 10 on the back of the speaker.
3. Plug the power adapter 13 into an appropriate power outlet.
The power indicator light 11 will come on when the speaker is connected with
power.
4. Press the on/off button 9to switch the speaker on or off.
The blue LED lights on the front of the speaker will come on when the speaker is
switched on.
The speaker will automatically switch off if left idle for about 10 minutes.
Battery charging
The internal battery of the speaker will be charging when the power adapter 13
is connected to an appropriate power outlet. You can use the speaker without the
power adapter when the battery is sufficiently charged.
Refer to the power indicator light 11 for the battery charging status and battery
power level.
When the speaker is switched ON:

Playback from a connected Bluetooth device
1. Press the on/off button 9to turn the speaker on.
If a Bluetooth device is not already paired, the Bluetooth pairing button 8will
flash with a blue light, indicating that the speaker is ready for pairing.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth feature of your music device and select “BAUHN PARTY SPK”
from the list of available devices to pair.
If a passcode is required, enter “0000”.

Disconnecting a Bluetooth device

When the Bluetooth pairing is done, you will hear a signal sound from the
speaker. The Bluetooth pairing button will remain lit with a blue light.
The speaker remembers your paired devices. Once the speaker is switched on, it
automatically connects with your last paired device.
3. Start and control the playback on your music device.
4. Rotate the master volume control 4to adjust the volume of the speaker.
To connect to another music device, disconnect first the currently paired device
from the speaker and repeat step 2 above. See the chapter “Disconnecting a
Bluetooth device.”
5. Press the on/off button to turn the speaker off when not in use.
Disconnecting a Bluetooth device
In case you want to disconnect a paired Bluetooth device from the speaker, press and
hold the Bluetooth pairing button 8while the device is being connected. The blue
light of the Bluetooth pairing button will flash and a signal sound will be heard when
the device is disconnected.
Playback from the auxiliary input
You can also connect your music device to the speaker through an audio cable
(3.5 mm, not provided).
1. Press the on/off button 9to turn the speaker on.
2. Connect your music device with the auxiliary input jack 5of the speaker using
an audio cable.
3. Start and control the playback on your music device.
4. Rotate the master volume control 4to adjust the volume of the speaker.
5. When the playback is done, remove the audio cable from the auxiliary input jack.
6. Press the on/off button to turn the speaker off when not in use.
Note: The Bluetooth paring button 8will keep flashing even though your music
device is connected to the speaker through an audio cable. This is a necessary
feature to play or mix music from two different sources as described in the chapter
“Mixing musical inputs.”

Using the microphone
1. Press the on/off button 9to turn on the speaker.
2. Connect the microphone 14 to the microphone jack 6.
3. Turn on the microphone.
4. Rotate the microphone volume control 7to adjust the volume of the
microphone.
5. Turn off the microphone and disconnect it from the speaker when not in use.
Mixing musical inputs
The musical inputs from the Bluetooth connection and auxiliary input can be played
and mixed at the same time while you are using the microphone to sing along with
the music.
Using the party light
WARNING: Do not look directly into the party light.
To control the party light 1, set the light mode selector 2to one of the settings
below:
• OFF – The party light will be off.
• ON – The party light will be on.
• BEAT – The party light will be switched on and react to the beat of the music.
USB charging
A USB charging port 3(output: max. 1 A) is available for charging external devices
(mobile phones) through a USB cable (not provided).
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING: NEVER immerse the speaker in water or any other liquids.
CAUTION: NEVER use abrasive cleaners or hard brushes to clean the speaker or any
accessories.
1. Disconnect the power adaptor 13 from the power outlet.
2. Clean the speaker with a soft and dry cloth.
Storage
• Store the speaker, adapter and microphone in a clean and dry place.
• Keep the speaker, adapter and microphone out of the reach of children.

Problem Possible cause and solution
Bluetooth pairing
cannot be
established.
Make sure the speaker is within its effective working range
(33 feet).
If the speaker is connected to another device, disconnect it
from the speaker and pair again.
Make sure your device’s Bluetooth function is turned on
and it is discoverable.
If there are too many Bluetooth devices near the speaker,
turn off unused devices to avoid interference.
Check the battery power and recharge the speaker if
necessary.
The sound is too soft. Check the volume setting on both the speaker and your
device and adjust the volume to a suitable level.
Poor sound quality
or distorted sound.
Make sure your device is within the speaker’s Bluetooth
range. Move your device closer to the speaker.
There is too much
bass sound.
Try adjusting the tone or EQ control on your sound source
to lower the bass level. This will allow you to play the music
louder before clipping (distortion) occurs.
There is a high-
pitched whistling
noise when using
the microphone.
This is probably an audio feedback. Point the microphone
away from the speaker.
Cannot hear the
microphone over the
music volume.
Turn down the music volume from your audio source.
Responsible disposal
At the end of its working life, do not throw this device out with your household trash.
Electrical and electronic products contain substances that can have a detrimental

• The speaker is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a
separate remote control system.
• There are no user-serviceable parts inside the speaker. Do not attempt to service
this product. Please call our after sales support for instructions.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the speaker.
• Always carry/hold the speaker by its handle. Never carry the speaker by the
power cord.
• In order to prevent environmental factors (dampness, dust, food, liquid etc.)
harming the speaker, only use it in a well ventilated, clean and dry environment,
away from excessive heat or moisture.

1. Coloque el altavoz sobre una superficie plana y nivelada que esté libre de
vibraciones.
2. Conecte el enchufe de alimentación 12 en el conector de entrada CC 10 de la
parte posterior del altavoz.
3. Enchufe el adaptador de alimentación 13 a un tomacorriente adecuado.
La luz indicadora de alimentación 11 se encenderá cuando el altavoz esté
conectado a la red.
4. Presione el botón de encendido/apagado 9para encender o apagar el altavoz.
Las luces LED azules de la parte frontal del altavoz se encenderán cuando este
esté encendido.
El altavoz se apagará automáticamente si permanece inactivo unos 10 minutos.
Carga de batería
La batería interna del altavoz se cargará cuando el adaptador de alimentación 13
esté conectado a un tomacorriente apropiado. Puede utilizar el altavoz sin el

1. Presione el botón de encendido/apagado 9para encender el altavoz.
Si un dispositivo Bluetooth no está emparejado aún, el botón de emparejamiento
Bluetooth 8parpadeará con una luz azul, indicando que el altavoz está listo
para el emparejamiento.
2. Active la opción de Bluetooth del dispositivo de música y seleccione “BAUHN
PARTY SPK” de la lista de dispositivos disponibles para el emparejamiento.
Si se le pide una contraseña, introduzca “0000”.
Una vez finalizado el emparejamiento Bluetooth, escuchará una señal del altavoz.
El botón de emparejamiento Bluetooth se quedará en azul.
El altavoz recuerda los dispositivos emparejados. Una vez encendido el altavoz, se
conecta automáticamente con el último dispositivo emparejado.
3. Inicie y controle la reproducción en el dispositivo de música.
4. Gire el control de volumen maestro 4para ajustar el volumen del altavoz.
Para conectarse con otro dispositivo de música, desconecte primero el dispositivo
emparejado actualmente del altavoz y repita el paso 2 anterior. Consulte el

Desconexión de un dispositivo Bluetooth
En caso de que quiera desconectar un dispositivo emparejado del altavoz, mantenga
presionado el botón de emparejamiento Bluetooth 8cuando el dispositivo esté
conectado. La luz azul del botón de emparejamiento Bluetooth parpadeará y se
escuchará una señal cuando el dispositivo se desconecte.
Reproducción desde la entrada auxiliar
También puede conectar el dispositivo de música al altavoz mediante un cable de
audio (3.5mm, no suministrado).
1. Presione el botón de encendido/apagado 9para encender el altavoz.
2. Conecte el dispositivo de música al conector de entrada auxiliar 5del altavoz
usando un cable de audio.
3. Inicie y controle la reproducción en el dispositivo de música.

Aviso: El botón de emparejamiento Bluetooth 8seguirá parpadeando incluso
cuando el dispositivo de música esté conectado al altavoz a través de un cable de
audio. Esto es necesario para reproducir o mezclar música de dos fuentes diferentes
como se describe en el capítulo “Mezcla de entradas musicales”.

Para controlar la luz de fiesta 1, fije el selector de modo de luz 2en uno de los

Carga USB
Hay disponible un puerto de carga USB 3(salida: máx. 1 A) para cargar dispositivos
externos (celulares) a través de un cable USB (no suministrado).
Limpieza y mantenimiento
ADVERTENCIA: NUNCA sumerja el altavoz en agua ni otros líquidos.
ATENCIÓN: NUNCA use limpiadores abrasivos ni cepillos duros para limpiar el altavoz
o los accesorios.

Al usar equipos eléctricos, se deberían tomar siempre precauciones básicas de
seguridad para reducir el riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica y lesiones sobre las
personas, incluidas, entre otras, las siguientes:
• Emplee el altavoz únicamente como se describe en este manual del usuario.
No se recomienda ningún otro uso. El altavoz está previsto para uso doméstico
únicamente, y no para uso comercial.
• La instalación inapropiada y el uso de accesorios no recomendados por el
fabricante del equipo pueden provocar lesiones personales y daños materiales,
e invalidarán la garantía. No asumimos ninguna responsabilidad en caso de
posibles daños causados por un uso indebido o incorrecto.
• El altavoz se debería usar solo con el tipo de fuente de potencia indicado en la
etiqueta de especificaciones o en este manual del usuario.
• No sobrecargue los tomacorrientes de pared ni los cables alargadores.
• No sumerja el cable, enchufe ni el propio altavoz en agua ni demás líquidos.
No exponga las conexiones eléctricas al agua. Asegúrese de que todas las
conexiones eléctricas estén limpias y secas antes de encenderlas.
• El cable debería estar tendido de forma que nadie pueda tirar de él ni tropezar
con él por descuido.
• No doble, tuerza, aplaste, cargue ni dañe el cable eléctrico, y protéjalo de bordes
afilados y del calor. No deje que el cable toque superficies calientes.
• No use el altavoz si el cable o el enchufe de suministro eléctrico se han dañado o
funcionan mal. El fabricante o una persona cualificada deben sustituir un cable
o enchufe dañado para evitar peligros. En caso de daño, contacte con el servicio
posventa para que le asesore.

• Desenchufe el altavoz del tomacorriente cuando no lo use, y antes de limpiar,
reparar, mantener o mover el altavoz.
• El altavoz no está previsto para su utilización con un temporizador externo o un
sistema de control remoto separado.
• Dentro del altavoz, no hay piezas que requieran mantenimiento por parte del
usuario. No intente reparar este producto. Llame al servicio posventa para recibir
instrucciones.
• Los niños deberían estar supervisados para garantizar que no juegan con el
altavoz.
• Lleve/sujete siempre el altavoz por su asa. Nunca lleve el altavoz por el cable
eléctrico.
• Para evitar que los factores medioambientales (humedad, polvo, comida,
líquidos, etc.) dañen el altavoz, úselo solo en un ambiente ventilado, limpio y
seco, que no presente una humedad o calor excesivos.
• Mantenga el altavoz lejos de la luz solar directa y las fuentes de calor.
• El altavoz no está diseñado para ser usado por personas (incluidos niños) con
problemas físicos, sensoriales o mentales, o falta de experiencia y conocimientos,
a menos que estén supervisadas o instruidas en relación con el uso del altavoz
por una persona responsable de su seguridad.
• No coloque objetos encima del altavoz.
• No exponga el altavoz a microondas.
• Mantenga el altavoz lejos de aceites, productos químicos o cualquier otro líquido
orgánico.
• No coloque ni guarde el altavoz donde pueda caerse o tirarse a una bañera o
lavabo. No lo coloque ni deje caer dentro del agua ni demás líquidos.
• No cubra ni bloquee las aperturas de ventilación del altavoz.
• ADVERTENCIA: No mire directamente a la luz de fiesta.
• ADVERTENCIA: No coloque el altavoz demasiado cerca de los oídos. Se podrían
dañar los tímpanos, sobre todo en niños pequeños. Utilice el altavoz solo para
