Warranty Details
The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and
parts for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Defects that
occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be
repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. The benefits conferred
by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the
product that the consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act
2010 and similar state and territory laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for
a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable
loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or
replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does
not amount to a major failure.

General Safety Instructions
Read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it in a safe place for
future reference, along with the warranty card, purchase receipt and carton.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock
and injury when correctly adhered to. Follow all instructions and take notice
of all warnings to reduce the risk of re or electric shock.
Important Warnings and Cautions!
Do not attempt to open the cover or back. There
are no user-serviceable parts inside the equipment.
Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify
the equipment yourself. Only have it serviced by
qualified personnel. In case of damage, call our
after sales support line for advice.
Do not expose this equipment to water, rain or
moisture. Do not immerse it water. Do not use it
near water or where water splashes or drips.
Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
Electrical Safety and Cord Handling
• Voltage: Before installing the speakers, make sure your outlet voltage and
circuit frequency correspond to the voltage stated on the product rating
label and the outlet socket is properly earthed and readily accessible.
• Electrical circuit: Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or power
boards as this can result in a risk of fire of electric shock.
• Protect the power cord: Do not kink, bend, strain or damage the supply
cord and protect it from sharp edges and heat. Do not run the cord near
heat-producing appliances such as radiators, stoves or irons. The excessive
heat could melt the insulation and expose live wires.
• Cord connection: Run the cord in such a way that there will be no risk of
anyone pulling it inadvertently, tripping over it or stepping on it. Make sure
nothing is placed upon or against the cord.
• Damaged cord: If the supply cord is damaged, contact our after sales
support centre. A damaged cord must be replaced by qualified personnel in
order to avoid a hazard.
• Disconnect: Make sure the power cord is disconnected from the wall outlet
before connecting the speakers and if they are not going to be used for a
while. When disconnecting, always grip the plug, do not pull on the cord.

Usage Conditions and Restrictions
• Installation: Before installing this equipment, read this manual thoroughly
and make sure you understand all instructions and safety warnings.
• Placement: Once the speakers are properly installed on their tripod stands,
place them on a straight, rigid and stable surface. Do not stack the speaker
cabinets in a way that they could cause injury if they topple over.
• Protect from heat: Do not place the speakers near sources of heat such
as radiators, stoves or other appliances that produce heat. Do not place
lightning equipment or smoke machines on top of the speakers.
• Prevent damage: Do not place the product near other items that may
damage it, such as naked flame sources (lit candles) or objects containing
water (a vase). Take care that no objects fall into, or are pushed into, and
that no liquids are spilled into any openings or vents.
• Dusting only: Clean the speakers only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use
chemical cleaning agents on any part of the equipment.
• Usage restriction: This product is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Children: Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the
product. Children may not comprehend the presence of potential risks.
• Safe and appropriate usage: Only use this equipment in accordance with
the instructions in this manual. We assume no liability for any eventual
damages caused by misuse of the equipment or noncompliance with these
instructions.

reduce the input level to eliminate the distortion.

24 Mix Output: XLR line out to another active speaker.
25 MP3 Volume: Volume control for the MP3 player.
26 Speaker Output: Connect to the other, passive speaker.
27 Main Supply Inlet: Connector for the supplied power cable.
28 Power Switch: Press to switch power on or off.

Unpacking
• Carefully take the parts of your new 10” Dual DJ Speakers with Tripod
Stands out of the box. Remove any promotional and packaging material but
do not remove any labels or stickers on the rear of the unit.
• Keep all packaging materials until you have made sure your new equipment
is undamaged and in good working order. Plastic wrapping can be a
suffocation hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all packaging
materials are out of their reach.
• Check and make sure all the items listed below are included in your
package before setting up the unit:
1x Active Speaker
1x Passive Speaker
2x Tripods
1x Speaker Cable
1x Power Cable
You should also have a Getting Started Guide, Warranty Certificate and this
Instruction Manual. If there are any items missing, contact our after sales
support centre for advice.
• Unwind the supply cord to its full length and inspect it for damage. Do not
use the unit if any part is damaged. In case of damage, contact our after
sales support centre.
• Read this manual carefully to familiarise yourself with all the parts and
operating principles of the equipment. Pay particular attention to the safety
instructions on the previous pages.

Assembly
• Turn the leg angle adjustment knob anticlockwise to loosen (Fig.1), then
pull out the tripod legs until they are fully extended (Fig.2).

• Insert the centre pole into the opening at the top of the tripod. At the
desired height, insert the height-fixing pin into the closest hole above the
knob (Fig.3).
• Turn the pole height adjustment
knob clockwise to tighten (Fig.4).

• Turn the knob at the bottom of the speaker cabinet in an anticlockwise
direction until the screw no longer obstructs the opening (Fig.5).
• Carefully place the speaker cabinet on top of the pole and tighten the knob
(Fig.6).

• Follow the same procedure for assembling the second speaker.
• Connect the active and passive
speakers with the supplied speaker
cable, using the speaker output
sockets at the back of the speakers
(Fig.7).
• Your new DJ speakers are now fully
assembled and connected.

Instructions
Power Supply
This unit works on normal household AC power. Before operating, make sure
your local AC voltage supply falls within the product’s voltage range.
• Plug the supplied power cable into the mains supply inlet at the back of the
active speaker, then insert the plug into a wall outlet and switch the power
on at the outlet.
• Press the POWER switch at the back of the active speaker to switch on the
speakers.
Streaming Audio via Bluetooth®Wireless Technology
Pairing With a New Bluetooth Enabled Device
• Press the MODE button repeatedly on the Player Control Panel at the
back of the active speaker until Bluetooth mode is selected. On the LED
display the icon will start flashing fast. The DJ Speakers are now ready for
pairing.
• Turn on the Bluetooth function of your device and scan available Bluetooth
enabled devices nearby.
• Select “ADS10-014” from the device list to pair. Enter ‘0000’ if your
Bluetooth enabled device prompts you for a passcode.
• If pairing is successful, a beep will sound and the Bluetooth icon on the
LED display will flash slowly.
• If you cannot pair the speakers with your Bluetooth enabled device, turn
both the DJ Speakers and your Bluetooth enabled device off and on and
then try again.
• If you want to pair the DJ Speakers with another Bluetooth enabled device,
press and hold the button on the Player Control Panel controls at
the back of the active speaker. The LED display will show “del” and it will
disconnect the current Bluetooth connection and the DJ Speakers become
ready for pairing again.
Connecting to Bluetooth Devices Stored in Memory
• Turn on the DJ Speakers and press the MODE button to select Bluetooth
mode. The DJ Speakers will start searching for the previously paired
devices. If an available device is found, the speakers will be connected to
the Bluetooth device automatically.

Playing Audio via Bluetooth Wireless Technology
After successful connection you can play music from your Bluetooth enabled
device wirelessly through the DJ Speakers.
• Press the button to play or pause music.
• Press the or button to skip to the previous or next track.
NOTE:
• Refer to the manual of your Bluetooth enabled device for more information
about the Bluetooth function on the device.
• If your Bluetooth enabled device does not support A2DP profile, it can be
paired and connected but will not play audio through the DJ Speakers.
• When you pair and connect your computer to the DJ Speakers, you may
need to change the sound setting on your computer.
AUX Input Operation
This unit is equipped with 4 input sockets for playback of audio from external
devices: 3.5mm input socket, stereo RCA socket, 6.35mm input socket for
microphone or line input, and XLR input for DJ gear.
• If your audio device has a 3.5mm audio output socket (line-out or
headphones), use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect the DJ Speakers and
your device.
• If your audio device has RCA output sockets, use RCA cables to connect
the DJ Speakers and your device.
• Turn on both the DJ Speakers and the external audio device.
• Adjust the volume according to the source you use.
NOTE: With the DJ Speakers you are able to combine sound from different
sources and play back the audio at once.
USB and SD Card Operation
This unit has a USB port and SD Card slot on the control panel at the back of
the active speaker. The ports accept standard USB drives and SD cards for
playback of MP3 files stored on them.
• Press the MODE button repeatedly until USB or SD Card mode is selected.
• Insert your USB device into the USB port (or the SD card into the card slot)
and the unit will start playing automatically.
• Press the or button to select the previous or next track.

• Press the button to temporarily pause the track.
• Press the button to repeat the current track, repeat all tracks, or shuffle
tracks for playback.
NOTE: When you insert a USB device or an SD card, the DJ Speakers will
automatically select the appropriate mode and start playing. When
you have both a USB device and an SD card inserted, you will have
to press the MODE button repeatedly until the appropriate source is
selected.
FM Radio Operation
• Press the MODE button repeatedly until FM radio source is selected. The
radio station’s frequency number will show on the LED display.
• To manually tune into a radio station, use the or button.
Use the manual tuning method to tune into stations with weak signals.
They may be bypassed during the automatic tuning process.
• To automatically tune into the next/previous available radio station,
press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds until the unit starts searching.
The unit will start auto-tuning and save stations with adequate signal
strength.
NOTE:
• The unit has a built-in FM antenna towards the back of the unit. For the
best reception, position the speaker with the back towards a window.
• Automatic tuning depends on the signal strength of radio stations. Stations
with a weak signal may be skipped during auto-tuning. You can manually
tune in to those stations.
Preset Radio Stations
The DJ Speakers have 34 preset memories for FM radio stations.
• To set preset memories automatically, press and hold the button for
4~5 seconds to activate auto preset mode. The unit will search for available
stations and will store up to 34 available stations automatically, depending
on the signal strength.
Recalling Preset Memory Channels
• To recall a preset station, press the or button on the back panel of
the active speaker.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Other Useful Information
CAUTION!
• To prevent a fire or shock hazard, disconnect the DJ Speakers from the
AC power supply before cleaning.
• Never allow any water or other liquid to get inside the DJ Speakers
while cleaning.
• The speaker cabinets should be cleaned with a soft, dry dust cloth.
• DO NOT use any of the following substances for cleaning the speaker
cabinets or tripods:
NO wax or polish sprays
NO abrasive cloths or polishes
NO chemical cleaning agents
• DO NOT remove the cover or the back of this equipment. There are no
user-serviceable parts inside.
• DO NOT attempt to repair or service the equipment. All servicing should be
referred to qualified service personnel. Contact our after sales support
centre for advice on repair or service.

Repair and Refurbished
Goods or Parts Notice
Unfortunately, from time to time, faulty products are manufactured which need to
be returned to the supplier for repair.
Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data
(such as files stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on
a mobile telephone, songs stored on a portable media player, games saved on
a games console or files stored on a USB memory stick) during the process of
repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost. We recommend you save this
data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them
with refurbished goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair
process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only used
wheretheymeetALDI’sstringentqualityspecications.
