Bébé Confort e-Safety è un dispositivo che aiuta i genitori a controllare i bambini quando
viaggiano. Il dispositivo è adatto ai bambini di età inferiore ai 12 anni e di altezza inferiore
ai 150 cm ed è compatibile con i seggiolini auto Bébé Confort e altri. Lo smart cushion si
posiziona sul seggiolino auto e rileva la presenza del bambino quando è seduto. L’applicazione
Bébé Confort e-Safety, disponibile su App Store e Google Play Store, informerà il genitore se il
bambino si trova da solo nell’auto. Inoltre invierà un messaggio di allarme con la posizione GPS
dell’auto ad un elenco di contatti preinserito. Bébé Confort e-Safety è stato progettato per
aiutare, non per sostituire la supervisione da parte dei genitori.
AVVERTENZA: non lasciare materiali di imballaggio alla portata dei bambini in quanto possono
essere pericolosi.

Bébé Confort e-Safety is a device which supports parents to control their children while
travelling. The device is suitable for children with an age lower than 12 years old and height
beneath 150 cm, and is compatible with Bébé Confort car seats and others. The smart cushion
is placed on the car seat and it detects the presence of the child sitting on it. The parent
will be informed when the child is unattended in the car through the Bébé Confort e-Safety
application available in the App Store and Google Play Store. Moreover, an alarm message
containing GPS position of the car, is send to a list of pre-entered contacts. Bébé Confort
e-Safety is designed to support but not replace the monitoring of parents.
WARNING: Do not leave any packaging materials within the reach of children as these can be
hazardous.
WARNING: Before using the device, make sure that no products or components are damaged. If
it is damaged, do not use the product and contact your supplier.
WARNING: To prevent from overheating, keep Bébé Confort e-Safety away from sources of
heat.
WARNING: Do not short-circuit the power terminals.

The crossed bin symbol on the appliance indicates
that the product, at the end of its life, must be
disposed separately from domestic waste, either
by taking it to a separate waste disposal site for
electric and electronic appliances or by returning
it to your dealer when you buy another similar
appliance.
The user is responsible for taking the appliance
to a special waist disposal site at the end of
its life. If the disused appliance is collected
correctly as separate waste, it can be recycled,
treated and disposed of ecologically; this avoids
a negative impact on both the environment and
health, and contributes towards the recycling of
the product’s materials. For further information
regarding the waste disposal services available,
contact your local waste disposal agency or the
shop where you bought the appliance.
The crossed bin symbol on the battery or its
packaging, means that the batteries, at the end
of their life, should be disposed of separately
from the municipal waste stream via designated
collection facilities appointed by the government
or the local authorities, or otherwise returned
to the dealer when purchasing new equivalent
rechargeable or non-rechargeable batteries.
Chemical symbols (Hg for mercury, Cd for
cadmium, Pb for Lead) printed beneath the
crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicate the type
of substance contained in the battery.
The user is responsible for taking the batteries
to special waste disposal sites at the end of
their life to recycle them. 1588 20 The correct
disposal of your old toy will help prevent potential
negative consequences for the environment
and human health and favor the recycling of the
materials of which the product is made. Improper
disposal of the product by the user may harm
the environment and human health. For further
information regarding the waste disposal services
available, contact your local waste disposal
agency or the shop where you bought the
appliance.

• To use Bébé Confort e-Safety “Airplane” mode
should be deactivated.
• If two or more smartphones are paired to the
same smart cushion, it’s necessary to identify
which one is eectively connected and therefore
should not be abandoned.
• The level of the battery can be monitored via
the Bébé Confort e-Safety application. If the
battery level is low, please contact the consumer
care within 30 days to receive instructions on it’s
replacement.
• The cushion of the Bébé Confort e-Safety can
be removed in order to be cleaned (consult the
washing instructions).
WARNING:
Before each travel with Bébé Confort e-Safety,
always check the connectivity of your mobile
phone and smart cushion with the application.
WARNING:
The smartphone and smart cushion should have a
sucient battery level to use the functionalities.
WARNING:
To properly use all functions, please allow the
application to send notifications and access the
device’s location. All data will only be used by the
Bébé Confort e-Safety application for functional
purposes.

Accuracy of detection might be impacted by the
use of an inlay.

stopped using this product, we ask that you
dispose the product in the proper waste facilities

e-Safety is in conformity with the essential
requirements and the related dispositions
established by directive 2014/53/EU.
In accordance with the European Commission
Decision N°2000/299/EC dated 06/04/200,
the frequency band used by this product has
been harmonized for all EU countries and therefor
this is a Class 1 product which can be used in all
European Community Countries.
Bébé Confort reserves the right to change
information provided in this manual at any time
and without notice.
The reproduction, transmission, transcription of
translation into another language, of any part and
in any form of this manual is strictly prohibited
without prior written consent from Bébé Confort.
Please consult the terms and conditions in the
application settings for more information.
SAFETY
• All products have been carefully designed and
tested for your child’s safety and comfort. Use
car seats sold or approved by our company. When
using other car seats, please test the product
before usage.
• You are personally responsible for the safety
of your child at all times, please read these
instructions carefully and make yourself familiar
with the product before using it.
• Always keep the instructions for future
reference; there is a storage compartment
specifically provided on the child seat.
• Do not use second-hand products whose
history is unknown. Some parts could be broken,
torn or missing.
• Replace the smart cushion when it has been
subject of violent stresses in an accident: it is not
optimal safety for your child.
• If in any doubt about the correct installation or
use of the system, the user is advised to contact
the distributor or the manufacturer of the child
restraining device system.
USAGE
• The smart cushion only works with a
smartphone that has the Bébé Confort e-Safety
application installed.
• The Bébé Confort e-Safety application may only
be downloaded for ocial stores.
• Turn on Bluetooth® in order to use the
functionalities of the application.
• Bébé Confort e-Safety does not interfere with
the operation of the Bluetooth® system that may
be present in the car.
• If there is no signal from the mobile operator,
Bébé Confort e-Safety will activate the first level
alarm but will not be able to send the SMS to the
emergency numbers (second level alarm).
• Only use mobile phone numbers as emergency
contacts (no landline or national emergency
numbers).

della propria vita utile, dovendo essere trattato

conferito in un centro di raccolta dierenziata

dellácquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura
equivalente.
L’utente è responsabile del conferimento
dell’apparecchio a fine vitaalle appropriate
strutture di raccolta. L’adequata raccolta
dierenziata per lávvio successivo
dell’apparecchio dismesso al riciclaggio, al
trattamento e allo smaltimento ecologicamente
compatible contribuisce ad evitare possibili
eetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e
favorisce il riciclo dei materiali di cui è composto
il prodotto. Lo smaltimento abusivo del prodotto
dat parte dell’utente comporta delle sanzioni
amministrative di cui al D.Lgs. n. 22/1997.
Il simbolo del cestino barrato riportato sulle pile o
sulla confezione del prodotto, indica che le stesse,
alla fine della propria vita utile, dovendo essere
trattate separatamente dai rifiuti domestici, non
devono essere smaltite come rifiuto urbano, ma
devono essere conferite in un centro di raccolta
dierenziata oppure riconsegnate al rivenditore
al momento dell’acquisto di pile ricaricabili e non
ricaricabili nuove equivalenti. L’eventuale simbolo
chimico Hg, Cd, Pb, posto sotto al cestino barrato
indica il tipo di sostan za contenuta nella pila, Hg
= Mercurio, Cd = Cadmio, Pb = Piombo. L’utente
è responsabile del conferimento delle pile a
fine vita alle appropriate strutture di raccolta al
fine di agevolare il trattamento e il riciclaggio.
L’adeguata raccolta dierenziata per l’avvio
successivo delle pile esauste al riciclaggio, al
trattamento e allo smaltimento ecologicamente
compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili
eetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute umana
e favorisce il riciclo delle sostanze di cui sono
composte le pile.Lo smaltimento abusivo del
prodotto da parte dell’utente comporta danni
all’ambiente e alla salute umana.

We confirm that this product was manufactured
in accordance with current European safety
requirements and quality standards which are
applicable to this product, and that this product is
free from defects on materials and workmanship
at the time of purchase.
Under the conditions mentioned herein, this
warranty may be invoked by consumers in the
countries where this product has been sold by a
subsidiary of the Dorel Group or by an authorized
dealer or retailer.
Our 24 months warranty covers all manufacturing
defects in materials and workmanship when
used in normal conditions and in accordance with
our user manual for a period of 24 months from
the date of the original purchase by the first
end-user customer. To request repairs of spare
parts under our warranty for defects in materials
and workmanship you must present your proof of
purchase, made within the 24 months preceding
the service request.
Our 24 months warranty does not apply to
defects caused by normal wear and tear, damage
caused by accidents, abusive use, negligence, fire,
liquid contact or other external cause, damage
which is the consequence of failing to comply
with the user manual, damage caused by use
with another product, damage caused by service
by anyone who is not authorized by us, or if the
product is stolen or if any label or identification
number has been removed from the product or
has been changed. Examples of normal wear an
tear include fabric worn down by regular use and
the natural breakdown of colors and materials
due to normal aging of the product.
What to do in case of defects:
Should problems or defects arise, your first point
of contact is the authorized dealer or retailer
recognized by us. Our 24 months warranty is
recognized by them

. You must present your
proof of purchase, made within the 24 months
preceding the service request. It is easiest if you
get your service request pre-approved by us. If
you submit a valid claim under this warranty, we
may request that you return your product to the
authorized dealer or retailer recognized by us or
that you ship the product to us in accordance with
our instructions. We will pay for shipment and for
return of freight if all instructions are followed.
Damage and/or defects neither covered by our
warranty nor by the legal rights of the consumer
and/or damage and/or defects with respect to
products that are not covered by our warranty
can be handled at a reasonable fee.
(1) Products purchased from retailers or dealers that
remove or change lables or identification numbers are
considered unauthorized. products purchased from
unauthorized retailers are also considered unauthorized.

USO
• Lo smart cushion funziona solo con gli
smartphone dove è installata l’applicazione Bébé
Confort e-Safety.
• L’applicazione Bébé Confort e-Safety può essere
scaricata solo dagli store uciali.
• Attivare Bluetooth® per poter utilizzare le
funzionalità dell’applicazione.
• Bébé Confort e-Safety non interferisce con
il funzionamento del sistema Bluetooth®
presente nel veicolo.
• Se il segnale dell’operatore mobile è assente,
Bébé Confort e-Safety attiverà il messaggio di
allarme di primo livello ma non potrà inviare l’SMS
ai numeri di emergenza (messaggio di allarme di
secondo livello).
• Usare solo numeri di telefoni cellulari come
contatti di emergenza (nessun numero fisso né
numeri di emergenza nazionale).
• Per utilizzare Bébé Confort e-Safety è
necessario disattivare la modalità “aereo”.
• Se due o più smartphone sono associati allo
stesso smart cushion, è necessario individuare
quale dei due è eettivamente collegato e non
dove essere abbandonato.
• È possibile monitorare il livello della batteria
mediante l’applicazione Bébé Confort e-Safety. Se
la batteria è scarica, contattare il centro
assistenza entro 30 giorni per le istruzioni sulla
sostituzione.
• È possibile rimuovere la fodera del cuscino di
Bébé Confort e-Safety per pulirla (consultare
le istruzioni di lavaggio).
AVVERTENZA:
Prima di ogni viaggio con Bébé Confort e-Safety,
verificare con l’applicazione la connettività tra il
telefono cellulare e lo smart cushion.
AVVERTENZA:
lo smartphone e lo smart cushion devono essere
abbastanza carichi per poter usare le funzionalità.

Per poter utilizzare tutte le funzioni in modo
adeguato, consentire all’applicazione di

manuale sono assolutamente vietate senza la
previa autorizzazione scritta da parte

futuro; il seggiolino auto è dotato di un apposito
scomparto.
• Non utilizzare prodotti di seconda mano di
cui non si conoscono le precedenti modalità di
utilizzo. Alcune parti potrebbero essere rotte,
lacerate o mancanti.
• Se lo smart cushion è stato sottoposto a
sollecitazioni violente in caso di incidente: non
garantisce la sicurezza ottimale del bambino.
• In caso di dubbi sulla corretta installazione o
sull’utilizzo del sistema, si consiglia all’utente
di contattare il distributore o il produttore del
sistema di ritenuta per bambini.

nonché delle prestazioni. Garantiamo che questo
prodotto è stato fabbricato in conformità con gli
attuali requisiti europei in materia di sicurezza
e con gli standard di qualità applicabili a questo
prodotto, e altresì che quest’ultimo è scevro
da difetti legati alla manodopera o ai materiali
impiegati al momento dell’acquisto.
Alle condizioni qui menzionate, il cliente può
ricorrere alla presente garanzia nei Paesi in cui
il presente prodotto sia stato venduto da una
controllata del gruppo Dorel o da un rivenditore o
concessionario autorizzato.
La nostra garanzia della durata di 24 mesi copre
eventuali difetti dei materiali e di fabbricazione
se il prodotto viene utilizzato in condizioni
regolari ed in conformità con il nostro manuale
d’istruzioni, per un periodo di 24 mesi dalla data
dell’acquisto al dettaglio originale dal primo
cliente utente finale. Per richiedere riparazioni o
parti di ricambio in garanzia per i suddetti difetti,
è necessario presentare la prova d’acquisto (che
deve essere stato eettuato entro e non oltre i
24 mesi precedenti alla richiesta di assistenza).
La garanzia non copre invece difetti causati da
normale usura, danni causati da incidenti, utilizzo
non corretto, negligenza, incendi, contatto con
liquidi o altra causa esterna, danni derivanti dal
mancato rispetto del manuale d’istruzioni, danni
causati dall’utilizzo con un altro prodotto, danni
causati da manutenzione da parte di persone da
noi non autorizzate; la garanzia non vale altresì
in caso di furto del prodotto o rimozione dal
prodotto stesso o modifica di qualsiasi targhetta
o numero identificativo. Esempi di normale usura
includono parti quali: ruote e tessuti usurati da un
utilizzo regolare del prodotto, nonché il naturale
deterioramento dei colori e dei materiali in seguito
al normale invecchiamento del prodotto.
