• This appliance complies with the

hazards involved.

appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than
8 and supervised.

steam is directed away from you.
• Hold the appliance by the handle
only.

fitted on its base.
• Operate the appliance with its
original base.
• Always use the appliance on a
stable and flat surface.
• Do not attempt to dismantle the
appliance.
• Only use the original parts or

2.1 Overview

3.1 Preparation
1. Remove all packaging and sticker materials and
dispose of them according to the applicable
legal regulations.
2. Before using the appliance for the first time,
clean all parts which come into contact with
water carefully. (See the “Cleaning and care”
section).
3. Completely roll out the power cord from the
cable coil (9) on the bottom of the base (8). Pass
the power cord through the slot on the base.
4. Clean the kettle well before initial use and
discard water of first two boiling cycles.
3.2 Operation
1. Push the lid release button (4) on the kettle to
open the lid (3).
 The lid (3) opens automatically.
2. Fill the water tank (10) with water.

Do not place the water tank (10)
on the base (8) while filling it with
water.

Never fill the water tank (10) above
the maximum level indicator (6) or
below the minimum level indicator.
3. Close the lid (3) until it clicks into place.
4. Place the water tank (10) on the base (8). Make
sure that it is sitting in an upright and stable
position.
5. Insert the plug into the wall socket.
6. Press down On/Off switch (7).
 On/Off switch (7) illuminates and boiling
process begins.

Lid (3) should always be closed
during the boiling process;
otherwise the kettle will not switch
off automatically.
7. After a few minutes, the water will start to boil.
The kettle switches off automatically and On/
Off switch (7) moves upwards.
 The function indicator goes off.

If you want to stop the heating
manually, push the On/Off switch
(7) upwards.
8. Disconnect the plug from the wall socket.
9. Take the water tank (10) from the base (8). Only
hold it by the handle (5).
AWARNING
: Do not open the lid (3)
as hot water could splash out. Make
sure that no water splashes onto
the base (8).
10. Pour the water from the spout (1) to the cup
or glass you want to use.

If you want to continue the boiling
process, repeat the procedure from
1 to 10.

Let the kettle cool down between
each heating process.
Hints and Tips
•The kettle is equipped with a water filter (2)
which filters out limestone and other residues
when the water is being poured out.
•Use softened or filtered water to prevent lime
build-up.

4.1 Cleaning and care
AWARNING
: Never use petrol
solvents, abrasive cleaners, metal
objects or hard brushes to clean the
appliance.
AWARNING
: Never put the
appliance, base (8) or power cord in
water or any other liquid.
1. Turn the appliance off and disconnect it from
wall socket.
2. Let the appliance cool down completely.
3. Use a damp soft cloth and a little mild cleanser
to clean the exterior of the appliance.
4. Water filter (2) can be removed for cleaning
purposes. To do this:
– Press the release downwards and take out
the filter.
– Depending on the level of lime build-up, clean
the filter with water and a little lemon juice or
white vinegar. Use a soft brush.
– Insert the filter again from above until it clicks
into place.

Before using the appliance after
cleaning, dry all parts carefully using
a soft towel.
4.2 Descaling the kettle
Descaling extends the life of your kettle. Descaling
period depends on the water hardness of your
area.
1. Fill the heater with water up to the maximum
level and boil.
2. After the heater is switched off, unplug the
appliance.
3. Add 2 cups of white vinegar or 1 tablespoon of
citric acid into the boiled water.
4. Keep the solution in the heater for a few hours.
5. Then pour it and rinse the inner part of the
heater thoroughly.
6. Fill the heater with clean water and boil it.
7. Then empty the heater and rinse with water
again.

If there is still some scale, repeat the
procedure.

You can also use a descaler which
is appropriate for utensils. If you
use a descaler, please follow the
instructions of that descaler.
4.3 Storage
•If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long
period of time, please store it carefully.
•Make sure the appliance is unplugged, cooled
down and completely dry.
•Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
•Make sure the appliance is kept out of the reach
of children.
•Wind up the power cord around the cable coil (9)
on the bottom of the base (8).
4.4 Handling and
transportation
•During handling and transportation, carry
the appliance in its original packaging. The
packaging of the appliance protects it against
physical damages.
•Do not place heavy loads on the appliance or the
packaging. The appliance may be damaged.
•Dropping the appliance will render it non-
operational or cause permanent damage.

3.1 Vorbereitung
1. Alle Verpackungsmaterialien und Aufkleber
entfernen und diese entsprechend den
gesetzlichen Vorschriften entsorgen.
2. Vor dem Gebrauch sorgfältg alle Tele, de mt
Wasser n Kontakt kommen rengen (sehe
Abschntt „Rengung und Pflege“). Das Wasser
der ersten beden Kochvorgänge wegschütten.
3. NetzkabelvollständgvonderKabelaufwcklung
(9) an der Untersete des Sockels (8) abrollen.
Netzkabel durch den Schltz am Sockel führen.
3.2 Betrieb
1. Entriegelungstaste für den Deckel (4) am
Wasserkocher drücken, der Deckel (3) öffnet
sich.
2. Wassertank (10) mit Wasser füllen.

Wassertank (10) beim Befüllen
mit Wasser nicht auf den Sockel
(8) stellen.

Wassertank (10) soweit füllen,
dass sich die Wassermenge
innerhalb der Markierungen
(Minimum/Maximum) bendet.
3. Deckel (3) schließen, sodass er einrastet.
4. Wassertank (10) auf den Sockel (8) stellen.
Sicherstellen, dass er sich stabil in aufrechter
Position befindet.
5. Netzstecker in die Steckdose stecken.
6. En-/Ausschalter (7) drücken.
 Der Ein-/Ausschalter (7) leuchtet auf, das
Wasserkochen beginnt.

Der Deckel (3) sollte während des
Wasserkochens immer geschlossen
sein; andernfalls schaltet sich der
Wasserkocher nicht automatisch
aus.
7. Nach engen Mnuten begnnt das Wasser
zu kochen. Der Wasserkocher schaltet sch
automatsch aus, der En-/Ausschalter (7)
bewegt sch nach oben.
Die Funktionsanzeige erlischt.

Das Kochen kann durch Drücken des
Ein-/Ausschalters (7) nach oben
auch manuell beendet werden.
8. Netzstecker aus der Steckdose zehen.
9. Wassertank (10) vom Sockel (8) nehmen. Nur
am Handgrff (5) halten.

WARNUNG: Deckel (3)
nicht öffnen, da heißes Wasser
herausspritzen kann. Sicherstellen,
dass kein Wasser auf den Sockel (8)
spritzt.
10. Wasser über den Ausgeßer (1) n de
gewünschte Tasse oder en Glas geßen.

Zum Fortsetzen des Wasserkochens
die Schritte 1 bis 10 wiederholen.

Einsatz abkühlen lassen.
Tipps und Tricks
•Der Wasserkocher st mt enem
Wasserflter (2) ausgestattet, der bem
Ausgeßen Kalk und andere Rückstände aus
dem Wasser fltert.
•Zur Verhnderung der Kalkbldung, weches
oder gefltertes Wasser verwenden.

4.1 Reinigung und Pflege
AWARNUNG
: Zur Reinigung
des Gerätes niemals Benzin,
Lösungsmittel, Scheuermittel oder
harte Bürsten verwenden.
AWARNUNG:
Weder Gerät noch
Sockel (8) oder Netzkabel in Wasser
oder andere Flüssigkeiten tauchen.
1. Gerät ausschalten und Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose ziehen.
2. Das Gerät vollständig abkühlen lassen.
3. Außensete des Gerätes mt enem
feuchten, wechen Tuch und etwas mldem
Rengungsmttel rengen.
4. Der Wasserflter (2) kann zum Rengen
entnommen werden. Dazu we folgt vorgehen:
– Entriegelung nach unten drücken und Filter
herausnehmen.
– Je nach Ausprägung der Verkalkung Filter mit
Wasser und ein wenig Zitronensäure oder
weißem Essig und einer weichen Bürste
reinigen.
– Filter wieder von oben einsetzen, sodass er
einrastet.

Nach der Reinigung und vor der
Benutzung des Gerätes alle Teile
sorgfältig mit einem weichen
Handtuch trocknen.
4.2 Wasserkocher entkalken
Das Entkalken des Wasserkochers verlängert
seine Lebensdauer. Die Häufigkeit hängt von der
Wasserhärte in Ihrem Gebiet ab.
1. Wasserkocher bis zur maximalen Füllmenge mit
Wasser füllen und dieses zum Kochen bringen.
2. Wasserkocher ausschalten und den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose zehen.
3. 2 Tassen weßen Essg oder 1 Esslöffel
Ztronensäure n das kochende Wasser geben.
4. Lösung enge Stunden m Wasserkocher
stehen lassen.
5. Lösung anschleßend ausschütten und
Innensete des Wasserkochers gründlch
ausspülen.
6. Wasserkocher mt sauberem Wasser füllen und
deses kochen.
7. Wasserkocher anschleßend entleeren und
erneut mt Wasser ausspülen.

Für Schäden
aufgrund von falscher Benutzung
wird keine Haftung übernommen.
4.3 Lagerung
•Wenn das Gerät längere Zet ncht benutzt wrd,
sollte es sorgfältg aufbewahrt werden.
•Darauf achten, dass der Netzstecker gezogen
wrd und das Gerät komplett trocken st.
•Das Gerät an enem kühlen, trockenen Ort
lagern.
•Das Gerät sollte sch mmer außerhalb der
Rechwete von Kndern befnden.
•Netzkabel vollständg von der Kabelaufwcklung
(9) an der Untersete des Sockels (8) abrollen.
4.4 Handhabung und
Transport
•Transporteren Se das Gerät n sener
Orgnalverpackung. De Verpackung schützt
das Gerät vor Sachschäden.
•Legen Se kene schweren Gegenstände auf
dem Gerät oder der Verpackung ab. Andernfalls
könnte das Gerät beschädgt werden.
•Falls das Gerät herunterfällt, st es
möglcherwese ncht mehr funktonsfähg oder
west dauerhafte Schäden auf.

1.1 Consgnes
générales de sécurté
• Cet appareil est conçu exclu-
sivement pour un usage do-
mestique. Il n’est pas prévu pour
une utilisation professionelle.
• Il ne doit pas être utilisé à des fins
commerciales.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil pour un
autre usage que celui pour lequel il
a été prévu. La bouilloire est conçue
pour faire bouillir de l’eau. N’utilisez
pas la bouilloire pour faire bouillir
et chauffer d’autres liquides ou de
la nourriture en conserve, pot ou
bouteille.
• Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil à
l’intérieur ou à proximité des
combustibles, des endroits,
des matières, et des matériaux
inflammables.
• Évitez d’utiliser l’appareil à
l’extérieur ou dans la salle de bain.
• Assurez-vous que la tension de
secteur figurant sur la plaque
signalétique correspond à votre
alimentation secteur locale. Le
seul moyen de déconnecter
l’appareil du secteur consiste à
débrancher la prise.
• Pour plus de protection, l’appareil
doit également être branché à
un dispositif de courant résiduel
domestique d’une valeur
nominale ne dépassant pas 30
mA. Demandez conseil à votre
électricien.
• N’immergez pas l’appareil, la base,
le câble d’alimentation ou la prise
dans de l’eau ou tout autre liquide
et ne lavez pas les composants au
lave-vaisselle.
• Débranchez la fiche d’alimentation
électrique après avoir utilisé
l’appareil, avant de le nettoyer,
avant de quitter la pièce ou si un
problème se produit.

• Évitez d’entourer le câble
d’alimentation autour de l’appareil.
• Ne pincez ou ne courbez pas le
cordon d’alimentation et ne le
laissez pas frotter contre des
bords saillants pour éviter de
l’endommager. Éloignez-le des
surfaces brûlantes et des flammes
nues.
• N’utilisez pas de rallonge.
• N’utilisez jamais l’appareil si le
câble d’alimentation ou l’appareil
lui-même est endommagé.
• Nos appareils ménagers de
marque BEKO respectent les
normes de sécurité applicables.
Par conséquent, si l’appareil ou le
cordon d’alimentation venait à être
endommagé, faites-le réparer ou
remplacer par un centre de service
agréé afin d’éviter tout danger.
Des réparations défectueuses et
non professionnelles peuvent être
sources de danger et de risque
