SETUP

Connect to power and AUX:
1. Insert the power plug into your car’s 12V power outlet (also known
as the cigarette lighter).
2. Insert the 3.5mm audio cable labeled “TO AUX” into your car’s aux
port. If the cable is too short, use the extension cable included in
the package.
Note: The extension cable should only be used to connect to the
car, not your phone.

SETUP
Place the button:
1. Find a smooth and flat surface on the dashboard in front of you
that is within easy reach but will not interfere with driving.
The built-in microphone is housed in the button so it should be as
close to your mouth and as directly in front of you as possible.
See image for some recommended areas:
2. Make sure the dash surface is dry and free of dirt.
3. Peel away the back of the mounting disc to expose the adhesive
and stick it to the dashboard.
4. The button will magnetically attach to the mounting disc.
The button can be easily removed and stored when not in use.

Managing Phone Calls
Make a call:
• Place calls as you normally do on your phone and the call’s audio
will be heard through your car stereo.
Make a call using voice-dialing:
• If your phone supports voice-dialing, it may be possible to activate
it using the AirCast Connect Hands-Free. Simply press and hold the
button for more than one second, and then release the button.
When you release the button, you will hear your phone prompt for
a command.
Answer a call:
• Tap the button to answer an incoming call.
End a call:
• Tap the button to end an active call. On some phones, you may need
to HOLD the button to end the call.
Connecting
1. Plug the male 3.5mm labeled “TO PHONE” into the 3.5mm
headphone jack of your phone.
Note: The extension cable is not to be used with your phone.
It can only be used to connect with your car stereo.
2. Turn on your car stereo and set the input source to AUX.

DAILY USE
Skip songs:
• To skip to the next song, double-tap the button.
• To skip backward, triple-tap the button.
Managing Music
On some phones, it is possible to control your music with the button
as follows:
To play music:
• Tap the button and your phone will play whatever music was
last playing.
• To change the music selection, use the controls on your phone.
To pause/un-pause the music:
• Tap the button while music is playing and the music will pause.
• If the music is already paused, tapping the button will un-pause it.
• If a call comes in while listening to music, the music will
automatically pause.

DAILY USE
Transferring Audio Back to Your Phone
If you are on a call and need to get out of your car, you can transfer the
audio back to your phone by simply unplugging your phone from the
AirCast Connect Hands-Free.
Note: If you’re listening to music, depending on the phone,
the music may either pause or continue playing with the sound
coming out of your phone.
Online Audio Services
If you use audio-streaming services or apps such as Pandora®or
iheartradio®, you might be able to use AirCast Connect Hands-Free to
enjoy streaming audio through your car stereo. However, not all phones
or audio-streaming services support this feature. If the sound comes
out of your phone instead of the car speakers, check to make sure the
phone is connected to the AirCast Connect Hands-Free.

TROUBLESHOOTING

You can quickly solve most problems with your AirCast Connect
Hands-Free by following the advice in this section.
The audio is not coming out of the stereo speakers.
Solutions:
• MakesureboththecarstereoandtheAirCastConnectHands-Free
are powered on.
• MakesuretheAUXcableiscorrectlyandfirmlyconnectedtothe
aux-in jack of your vehicle.
• MakesureyourcarstereoissettotheAUXinputsetting.
• Makesurethestereovolumeissettoacomfortablelisteninglevel.
• Makesurethe“TOPHONE”cableiscorrectlyandfirmlyplugged
into your phone’s 3.5mm headphone jack.
• Onsomecarstereos,thereisaseparatevolumesettingforthe
AUX input. Make sure that it is turned up to the desired level.
I can’t control music playback using the button.
Solutions:
• Notallphoneswillsupportthisfeature.
• Toskipforward/backward,allowaveryshortpausebetween
button presses.

Your AirCast Connect Hands-Free requires full concentration and both
hands to install. Do not attempt to connect your AirCast Connect
Hands-Free while driving. Do not attempt to adjust or retrieve
an unsecured AirCast Connect Hands-Free while driving. Adjust
the position of your AirCast Connect Hands-Free so that it does not
interfere with any of the operating controls of the vehicle or your view of
the road.
Do not use this apparatus near water (for example, a bath tub, wash
bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, wet basement, swimming pool, or other
areas located near water).
Unplug this product from the cigarette lighter or power outlet before
cleaning. Clean only with a dry cloth.
Unplug this apparatus when unused for long periods of time.
Onlyuseattachments/accessoriesspecifiedbythemanufacturer.

電源やAUXと接続するには:
1 電源プラグ を車の12Vコンセント（シガレットライター）に差し込みま
す。
2 「TOAUX」と表記された35mmオーディオケーブルを車のAUXポー
トに差し込みます。ケーブルの長さが足りないときは付属の延長ケーブ
ル を 使 用してくだ さい 。
注：延長ケーブルは車に接続する場合にのみ使用し、電話には使用しな
いでください。

セットアップ
ボタンを配置するには:
1 目の前のダッシュボード上で、運転の支障にならず、手が届きやすく、平
らで滑らかな表面でご利用ください。内蔵マイクはボタンの中にありま
す。使用される方の口元にできるだけ近づけ、真正面にくるようにしてく
ださい。いくつかの推奨位置について画像で御確認してください。
2 ダッシュボードの表面が湿っていたり、汚れが付着していないことを確認
します。
3 マウントディスクの 裏 材をは がして接 着 部 を露 出させ、マウントディスク
をダッシュボードに貼り付 けます。
4 ボタンは磁 石でマウントディスクに 取り付けることが できます。
ボタンを使用しないときは、取り外し保管しておくことが可能です。

通話
電話をかけるには:
• 通常と同じ方法で電話をかけると、カーステレオから音が聞こえます。
音声ダイヤルで電話をかけるには:
• 電話に音声ダイヤル機能が付いている場合は、AirCastConnect
Hands-Freeを使用して音声ダイヤルを有効にできます。ボタンを1秒
以上押してから離すだけです。ボタンを離すと、電話から指示を要求す
る声が聞えます。
電話に出る(受信)には:
• 電話に出る場合は、ボタンを一度押してください。
通話を終了するには:
• 電話に出るには、ボタンを一度押してください。機種によっては、通話を
終了する為にボタンを長押しする必要があります。
接続
1 「TOPHONE」と表記された35mmプラグ（オス側)を電話のヘッドホ
ンジャックに差し込みます。
注： 延長ケーブルは電話に使用しないでください。延長ケーブルはカー
ステレオに接続する場合にのみご使用ください。
2 カーステレオをオンにして、入力源をAUXにセットします。

通常時の使用について
曲をスキップするには:
• 次の曲にスキップするには、ボタンを2度押してください。
• 前の曲に戻るには、ボタンを3度押してください。
音楽再生
機種によっては、次のようにボタンで音楽をコントロールできます:
音楽再生をするには:
• ボタンを押して頂くと、最後に聴いていた曲が再生されます。
• 曲 を 変 更 す る に は 、端 末 の コ ン ト ロ ー ル 機 能 を 使 用 し ま す 。
音楽を一時停止／解除するには:
• 音 楽 の 再 生 中 に ボ タ ン を 押 し て 頂 く と 、一 時 停 止 し ま す 。
• 音楽が一時停止されているときにボタンをもう一度押して頂くと、一時
停止 が 解 除 され ます。
• 音楽の再生中に電話がかかってくると、音楽は自動的に一時停止しま
す。
