Elektronisches Stethoskop
Allgemein
Mit Hilfe des elektronischen Stethoskops werden Geräuschquellen schnell und unkompliziert
ausfindig gemacht. Durch die im Lieferumfang enthaltenen sechs Prüfköpfe und den 6-Wege-
Verstärker ist eine Prüfung auch während der Fahrt an mehreren, verschiedenen Prüfpunkten
möglich. Ein Umschalten auf die verschiedenen Köpfe ermöglicht eine genaue Lokalisierung der
Geräuschquelle. Der 1-Wege-Verstärker, zu verwenden mit oder ohne Taststift, erlaubt eine schnelle
und unkomplizierte Diagnose.

Wartung / Pflege
Das Gerät darf nur mit einem weichen und trockenem Tuch gereinigt werden.
Die vorgehensweise bei einem Batteriewechsel können Sie dem unten stehendem Text entnehmen.
Von einer Reinigung mit Lösungs- und anderen scharfen Reinigungsmitteln ist abzusehen.

Sicherheitshinweise
- Vorsicht bei Prüfung an laufen Motoren, lose Kleidung, Werkzeuge, Ausrüstung und anderes
kann von drehenden Motorteilen erfasst werden und zu schweren Verletzungen führen.
- Achtung bei Prüfungen an heißen Motoren, es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr.
- Kabel und Prüfköpfe so anbringen bzw. verlegen, dass diese nicht von drehenden Teilen
erfasst werden können.
- Durch Unachtsamkeit kann ein schwerer Unfall verursacht werden, deshalb bei Verwendung
des Prüfgerätes während einer Probefahrt immer eine zweite Person für die eigentliche
Prüfung mitnehmen. Der Fahrer darf während der Fahrt keine Prüfungen vornehmen.
- Vorsicht bei der Montage der Prüfköpfe in der Nähe von elektrischen Anschlüssen und der
Fahrzeugbatterie. Die Krokodilklemmen sind aus leitendem Metall gefertigt, dies kann zu
einem Kurzschluss und Kabelbrand führen.
- Nach der Montage der Prüfköpfe müssen alle Kabel z.B. durch den Motorraum und das
geöffnete Beifahrerfenster verlegt werden. Dadurch wird eine Gefährdung anderer
Verkehrsteilnehmer verhindert.
- Keine Probefahrt auf stark befahrenen Straßen unternehmen.
Prüfung mit 1-Wegeverstärker
Der 1-Wegeverstärker wird zur schnellen, unkomplizierten Prüfung von z.B. Lichtmaschinen-,
Umlenkrollen-, Spannrollenlager usw. verwendet.
Batterie
Den Batteriefachdeckel leicht mit dem
Daumen herunterdrücken und komplett
nach hinten schieben.
Neue Batterie einsetzen.
ACHTUNG
Auf richtige Polung achten.
Vorbereitung
Den Kopfhörer mit dem 1-Wege-Verstärker
verbinden. Dazu den 3,5 mm
Klinkenstecker in die Buchse am hinteren
Ende einstecken.

Einschalten
Das Stethoskop lässt sich auf der linken Seite
einschalten. Den Regler dafür nach vorne drehen
(leichter Widerstand spürbar) bis die rote LED
leuchtet.
Jetzt kann über die Stellung des Reglers die
Lautstärke eingestellt werden. Je mehr nach
vorne gedreht wird, desto empfindlicher (lauter)
wird das Gerät.
Der 1-Wegeverstärker kann mit oder ohne
Taststift verwendet werden.
Mit Taststift (wird befestigt im Gummiadapter)
Mit dem Taststift kann ein Aggregat (z.B.
Lichtmaschine) berührt werden so haben äußere
Geräusche wenig Einfluss und ein defektes
Lager kann schnell lokalisiert werden.
Ohne Taststift
Geräusche werden übertragen ohne ein
Aggregat zu berühren.
Ungewollte negative Einflüsse wie z.B.
Luftströmung durch Gebläse werden verstärkt
und auch auf den Kopfhörer übertragen.
Prüfung mit 6-Wege-Verstärker
Der 6-Wege-Verstärker wird eingesetzt zur Überprüfung von:
- schwer erreichbaren Stellen
- von gleichzeitig mehreren Stellen
- bei Verwendung während der Probefahrt
Bestens geeignet zur Überprüfung von Klappergeräuschen an Achsteilen.
Batterie
- Den Batteriefachdeckel leicht mit dem
Daumen herunterdrücken und komplett
nach hinten schieben.
- Neue Batterie einsetzen.
ACHTUNG auf richtige Polung achten.
Anschluss
Der Anschluss der Prüfköpfe muss anhand der
farblichen und numerischen Zuweisung
erfolgen. Nur so ist eine eindeutige Zuordnung
der Geräuschquelle möglich.

Benötigte Anzahl an Prüfköpfen am Fahrzeug
montieren und mit den 3,5 mm Klinkenstecker
am 6-Wege-Verstärker anschließen.

Probefahrt
(Beispiel: Knarrgeräusche an der Vorderachse
rechts)
Für diese Prüfung wird eine zweite Person
benötigt
Nachdem die Prüfsensoren an verschiedenen
Bauteilen der Achse verbaut wurden kann nun
bei der Probefahrt über den Auswahlschalter
die Geräuschquelle lokalisiert werden.
Es erleichtert die Diagnose wenn eine
Zuordnung notiert wird. Beispiel:
blauer Prüfkopf an Querlenkergummi rechts
gelber Prüfkopf an Traggelenk rechts
grüner Prüfkopf an Federbein rechts
usw.
Ist das Knarrgeräusch bei der Probefahrt in
einer bestimmten Schalterstellung zu hören,
notieren Sie sich die Schalterstellung. Die
Probefahrt kann beendet werden.
Auswertung (am Beispiel)
War das Klappergeräusch bei der Probefahrt
am besten in der Schalter-Stellung 2 (gelb) zu
hören,
liegt der Fehler an einem defekten
Traggelenk.

Electronic Stethoscope
General
This stethoscope allows you to locate noise fast and easy. Due to the six provided probe heads and
the six-way amplifier, you can operate this stethoscope while driving and at six different testing spots
at the same time. The six switchable testing channels allow a precise localization of noise sources.
The one-way amplifier, used with or without a tracer pin, allows a fast and convenient diagnosis.

Safety advice
- Be careful when testing on running engines: loose clothing, tools, accessories can be
caught up in revolving parts of the engine and might lead to serious personal injury or
property damage.
- Be careful when testing on hot engines: risk of burning.
- Attach wires and probe heads in such a manner that they will not be caught up by
revolving parts of the engine.
- Carelessness leads to severe personal injury or property damage. That’s why you should
always have a second person to do the testing while the first one is driving the vehicle. The
driver is never allowed to do the testing while driving.
- Be careful when mounting probe heads next to electrical connections or the car’s battery.
The alligator clips are made from a conductive material which might cause short circuits
and/or cable fire.
- After mounting the probe heads, all wires have to be stripped through the engine bay and
opened windows of the passenger seat. This way you avoid any risk of endangering other
traffic participants.
- Do not test drive on a highly frequented road.
Testing with one-way amplifier
The one-way amplifier allows a fast and easy testing of the alternator, deflector roll, tension pulley etc.
Battery
Push down the cover of the battery
compartment gently and shove it
backwards. Replace battery.
CAUTION
Check for the correct polarity.
Preparation
Connect the headphones with the one-way
amplifier by plugging in the 3.5mm input
jack into the plug socket at the rear end of
the amplifier.

Activation
You can switch on the stethoscope on its left
side. Turn the volume control knob forwards
(there is a slight resistance) until the red LED
lights up.
Now you can dial in the desired testing
volume by turning the control knob.
The one-way amplifier can be operated with
or without a tracer pin.
With tracer pin (attached via rubber adaptor)
Touch any aggregate (ex. alternator) and
other noises won’t have any influence on your
testing procedure. You can easily detect a
defective bearing.
Without tracer pin
Noise is transferred without touching an
aggregate. Unintended negative influences
caused by streams of air through the car’s fan
are amplified and will be made audible by the
headphones.
Testing with six-way amplifier
The six-way amplifier can be used for testing:
- hard to reach spots
- up to six spots simultaneously
- when testing while driving
Perfect for checking rattling noise from the axles.
Battery
Push down the cover of the battery
compartment gently and shove it backwards.
Replace battery.
CAUTION
Check for the correct polarity.
Connection
The connection of the probe heads has to be
carried out in accordance to the colored and
numeric scheme provided. Only then you will
be able to detect and locate the noise
precisely.

Mount the needed number of probe heads on
the car and plug their 3.5mm input jacks into
the six-way amplifier’s sockets.
Connect your headphones with the amplifier.
Activation
You can switch on the stethoscope on its left
side. Turn the volume control knob forwards
(there is a slight resistance) until the red LED
lights up.
Now you can dial in the desired testing volume
by turning the control knob.
Test drive
(Ex.: screaking noise from the front right axle)
For this testing procedure you need a second
person.
After mounting the probe heads on various
components of the car, you will now be able to
detect and locate the noise by switching
through all six channels of the amplifier.
A diagnosis is easier if there has been written
down a mapping of channels and probe
heads. Ex.: blue probe head on right
suspension arm yellow probe head on ball
joint green probe head on compression leg
and so on...
Can you hear the screaking noise on one of
the channels? Then write down the channel
number/probe head color. You can stop test
driving.
Evaluation (using the example)
Could the noise be heard on channel 2
(yellow) only, ball joint is malfunctioning.

Estetoscopio electrónico
Generalidades
Este estetoscopio le permite localizar rápida y fácilmente ruidos. Gracias a las seis sondas de prueba
proporcionadas y el amplificador de seis vías, puede trabajar con el estetoscopio mientras realiza
hasta seis pruebas distintas al mismo tiempo. Los seis canales de prueba conmutable permiten una
localización precisa de las fuentes de ruidos. El amplificador de una vía usado con o sin el puntero, le
proporciona un diagnóstico rápido y fiable.

Mantenimiento

Aviso de seguridad
- Tenga cuidado cuando compruebe un motor en marcha: ropa floja, herramientas,
accesorios que puedan engancharse en las partes móviles del motor pueden causar

- Tenga cuidado cuando compruebe motores calientes: hay riesgo de incendio.
- Conecte los cables y las sondas de manera que no puedan engancharse con ninguna
parte móvil del motor.
- Una negligencia puede causar lesiones corporales graves o daños materiales. Por lo que
usted debe tener una segunda persona que realice la prueba mientras la otra maneja el
vehículo. El conductor nunca podrá realizar la prueba mientras conduce.
- Tenga cuidado cuando conecte las sondas de prueba cerca de conexiones eléctricas o de
la batería del coche. Las pinzas están hechas de material conductor lo cual puede
provocar cortocircuitos y/o quemar los cables.
- Después del montaje de las sondas, todos los cables han de pasar por el compartimento
del motor y a través de la ventana abierta del pasajero. De esta forma se evitará cualquier
riesgo de poner en peligro a otros conductores.
- No realice la prueba de conducción en una carretera altamente frecuentada..
Prueba con amplificador de una vía
El amplificador de una vía permite realizar una prueba rápida y sencilla del alternador, polea tensora,
rodillos reflectores, etc.
Batería:
Retire la tapa del Compartimento de la batería
Empujando cuidadosamente hacía atrás. Cambie
la batería.
AVISO
Compruebe la polaridad..
Preparación:
Conecte los auriculares con el amplificador de una
vía enchufando el jack de entrada de 3.5mm en la
toma de la parte posterior del amplificador.

Activación:
Puede cambiar el estetoscopio a su lado
izquierdo. Gire hacia adelante, en el mando de
control, el botón del control de volumen (notará
una ligera resistencia) hasta que el LED rojo se
encienda. Ahora puede cambiar de canal al
volumen deseado de la prueba moviendo el
botón de control.

con o sin puntero marcador.

Tocar algún punto del motor (ej. Alternador) si
existen otros ruidos no tendrán influencias
negativas sobre el procedimiento de la prueba.
Podrá detectar fácilmente un rodamiento
defectuoso.
Sin puntero marcador
El ruido se transmite sin tocar ningún punto del
motor. Influencias negativas no deseadas
causadas por las corrientes de aire por el
ventilador del coche son amplificadas y se
escucharán por los auriculares.
Prueba con el amplificador de seis vías:
El amplificador de seis vías puede ser usado para comprobar:
- Zonas difíciles de alcanzar.
- Hasta seis puntos simultáneamente.
- Hacer la prueba durante la conducción.
Perfecto para el control de los ruidos del traqueteo de los ejes.
Batería:
Retire la tapa del Compartimento de la
batería empujando cuidadosamente hacía
atrás. Cambie la batería
AVISO
Compruebe la polaridad.
Conexión:
La conexión de las sondas de prueba tiene
que llevarse a acabo de acuerdo con el
esquema numérico y coloreado establecido.
Solo entonces podrá localizar y detectar el
ruido con precisión.

Instale el número necesario de sondas de
prueba en el coche y conecte sus jacks de
entrada de 3.5 mm en las tomas del
amplificador de seis vías. Conecte sus
auriculares con el amplificador.
Connection
Activación:
Puede cambiar sobre el lado izquierdo del
estetoscopio, encendiendo el control de
volumen subiendo el botón (notará una
ligera resistencia) hasta que el LED rojo se
encienda. Ahora puede cambiar de canal al
volumen deseado de la prueba moviendo el
botón de control.
Prueba de manejo:
(ej. Ruidos del eje delantero derecho)
Para la realización de esta prueba se
necesita una segunda persona. Después de
instalar las sondas en varios puntos del
coche, podrá detectar y localizar el ruido por
conmutación a través de los seis canales del
amplificador. El diagnóstico es sencillo si se
ha escrito con anterioridad un mapeo de los
canales y las sondas. Ej: sonda azul en el
brazo de suspensión derecho, sonda
amarilla en la rotula ….Puedo oír el ruido en
uno de los canales? Una vez escrito el
número del canal y el color de la sonda, se
puede acabar la prueba.Evaluación (usando
el ejemplo) Si escucha ruido en el canal 2
(amarillo) la rótula está funcionando mal

Stetoscopio elettronico
Generale
Questo stetoscopio permette di localizzare i rumori velocemente e facilmente. Grazie ai 6 cavi per la
sonda e all’amplificatore a 6 modalità, si può operare con questo stetoscopio mentre si guida ed in 6
diverse posizioni allo stesso tempo. I sei canali di test intercambiali permettono una precisa
localizzazione delle fonti rumorose. L’amplificatore a una modalità, usato con o senza il perno
tracciante, permette una veloce e utile diagnosi.

Consigli di sicurezza
- Fare attenzione quando si testa su motori accesi: vestiti lenti, attrezzi, accessori possono
essere raggiunti da parti girevoli del motore e potrebbero portare a seri danni personali o
danni alla proprietà.
- Fare attenzione quando si testa su motori caldi: rischio di bruciatura.
- Collegare i fili e le teste dei terminali in modo che non possano essere raggiunti da parti
girevoli del motore.
- Disattenzione porta a gravi danni personali o danni alla proprietà. Questo perché si
dovrebbe sempre avere una seconda persona che fa il test mentre la prima guida il
veicolo. L’autista non può mai permettersi di fare il test mentre guida.
- Fare attenzione quando si montano le teste dei terminali vicino a connessioni elettriche o
batterie della macchina. Le pinzette a coccodrillo sono fatte di un materiale conduttore che
potrebbe causare un corto circuito e/o incendiare il cavo.
- Dopo il montaggio delle teste dei terminali, tutti i fili devono essere tolti attraverso il vano
motore e i finestrini aperti dalla parte del passeggero. In questo modo si evita qualsiasi
rischio di mettere a repentaglio altri partecipanti al traffico.
- Non testare la guida su strade altamente frequentate.
Test con l’amplificatore ad una modalità
L’amplificatore ad una modalità permette un facile e veloce test dell’alternatore, del rullo deflettore,
della puleggia del tensionatore ecc.
Batteria
Spingere in giù il coperchio dello
scompartimento della batteria
delicatamente e spingerlo all’indietro.
Sostituire la batteria.
PRECAUZIONE
Controllare la polarità corretta.

Preparazione
Collegare le cuffie con l’amplificatore ad
una modalità collegando la presa d’entrata
nella presa elettrica di 3.5 mm nella parte
posteriore dell’amplificatore.
Attivazione
Si può accendere lo stetoscopio dalla parte
sinistra. Girare la manopola di controllo in
avanti (c’è una leggera resistenza) fino a
quando si accende la luce LED rossa.
Ora si può regolare il volume desiderato per
il test girando la manopola di controllo.
L’amplificatore ad una modalità può essere
messo in funzione con o senza perno
tracciante.
Con perno tracciante (collegato tramite
all’adattatore di gomma)
Toccare qualsiasi aggregato (es. alternatore)
e altri rumori non avrà nessuna influenza
sulla vostra procedura del test. Si può
facilmente rilevare un cuscinetto difettoso.
Senza perno tracciante
Il rumore viene trasferito senza toccare
qualsiasi aggregato. Influenze negative
involontarie causate da getti d’aria attraverso

Batteria
Spingere in giù la cover dello scompartimento
della batteria delicatamente e spingerlo
all’indietro.
Sostituire la batteria.

PRECAUZIONE
Controllare la polarità corretta.
Collegamento
Il collegamento delle teste dei terminali
devono essere effettuate secondo lo schema
numerico e colorato fornito. Solo dopo si sarà
capaci di rilevare e localizzare precisamente il
rumore.
Montare il numero necessario di teste di
terminali sull’automobile e collegare la presa
d’entrata di 3.5 mm nella presa
dell’amplificatore a sei modalità.
Collegare le cuffie all’amplificatore.
Attivazione
Si può accendere lo stetoscopio dalla parte
sinistra. Girare la manopola di controllo del
volume in avanti (c’è una leggera resistenza)
fino a quando si accende una luce LED rossa.
Ora si può regolare il volume desiderato per il
test girando la manopola di controllo.

Test di guida
(Es.: rumori stridenti dall’asse frontale destro)
Per questa procedura di test si ha bisogno di
una seconda persona.
Dopo aver montato le teste dei terminali sui
vari componenti della macchina, si sarà capaci
di rilevare e localizzare il rumore cambiando
attraverso i sei canali dell’amplificatore.
Una diagnosi è più semplice se è stata
annotata una mappa dei canali e le teste dei
terminali. Es.: testa del terminale blu sul
braccio della sospensione destra, testa del
terminale giallo sul giunto a sfera, testa del
terminale verde sulla gamba di compressione
e così via…
Si riesce a sentire un rumore stridente su uno
dei canali? Quindi annotare il numero del
canale/ il colore della testa del terminale. Si
può fermare il test di guida.
Valutazione (usando l’ esempio)
Il rumore si potrebbe sentire solo sul canale 2
(giallo), il giunto a sfera è mal funzionante.
