• Carefully read the directions for use before you begin
operating the Biogents Mosquitaire CO2(BG-Mosqui-
taire CO2).
• The BG-Mosquitaire CO2catches mosquitoes consi-
derably well; however, it does not oer full protection
against all blood sucking insects. In case of an epidemic
that is caused by mosquitoes, you should take further
protective measures since using the trap alone does not
oer 100% protection.
• For the maintenance of the BG-Mosquitaire CO2trap and
the control of the mosquito catch rate, household gloves
should be worn and the catch bag should be properly
removed to avoid mosquitoes from escaping.
• If the BG-Mosquitaire CO2is used outside, make sure the
transformer is completely isolated from rain and splash
water.
• When using extension cords please keep the socket
outlet away from any moisture and avoid damage to the
cord.
• The appliance is not to be used in or around locations
where ammable vapour or explosive dust is likely to
exist.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (inclu-
ding children) with reduced physical, sensory or men-

Appropriate uses and regulations
The BG-Mosquitaire CO2trap is designed to capture mosquitoes outdoors. It needs to be protected from rain and direct sun
exposure and should be placed in an area where it will not be submerged in water. The trap and the transformer need to be
protected from intense heat (above 40°C) and extreme cold (below 5°C). The BG-Mosquitaire CO2should also not be used in
very dusty surroundings, as the dust may clog the nets and the gauze covering which obstructs the air currents.
The manufacturer is not held liable, in any case, if the product is improperly used or if any variations are made to the pro-
duct. Please pay close attention to all of the information that is contained in the instruction manual.

lines for the source you have chosen.
• Only use accessories and spare parts that are recommen-
ded by the manufacturer. The use of other attractants,
nets, or gauze with the trap can signicantly reduce the
catch rate or even render it completely ineective.
• Only allow qualied specialists with original parts to re-
pair the BG-Mosquitaire CO2trap.
• The power supply and its exible cable cannot be re-
paired. If it is damaged it shall be scrapped.

Assembling the Trap in Four Steps
1. Remove the Biogents Basic dispenser (13) from the
plastic packaging [F1] and place it into the designated
slot located on the inside wall of the inner tube (8) [F2].
2. Place the funnel net (2) around the bottom of the intake
funnel (1) [F3]. Then place the catch bag (3) over the fun-
nel net. The funnel net is now located inside the catch
bag. Tighten the top part of the catch bag about 2 cm
below the top of the funnel net [F4].
3. Insert the intake funnel with the attached funnel net and
catch bag [F4] into the opening on top of the trap [F5].
4. Plug the bottom of the CO2 emitter nozzle (10) into the
respective wholes in the lid of the trap [F6].

Recommended types of gas cylinders and sources:
In order to supply the trap with the carbon dioxide (CO2) at-
tractant, a commercially available CO2gas cylinder with six or
more kilograms is required. These can be acquired or rented
at drink retailers or bottle depots for a deposit. A door-to-
door delivery service may also be possible. We recommend a
10 kg gas cylinder which is also used in restaurants for draft
beer and soda.
Attaching the pressure reducing regulator onto the CO2gas
cylinder:
The BG-Mosquitaire CO2trap includes a specialized pressure
reducing regulator that is preadjusted to a constant output
pressure of 0.7 bar. The pressure remains consistent throug-
hout the entire usage.
Screw the pressure reducing regulator onto the CO2gas cy-
linder by rotating the screw on the end of the regulator onto
the opening on the CO2cylinder and make sure it is tight by
using a wrench or pliers [F8].
Adjusting the CO2consumption with the CO2Y-tube with
the respective sinter plugs:
Biogents‘ sinter technology is an elementary component in
the Biogents’ catching system which optimizes the release
of CO2and allows the adaptability to the local and seasonal
conditions. Depending on the existing mosquito situation,
you can choose between two dierent release rates: 200
grams/day and 500 grams/day.
The BG-Mosquitaire CO2set includes a CO2tube with three
endings. The two short ends at the Y-shaped connection
each contain a sinter plug and can be attached to the pres-
sure reducing regulator. The dierent sinter plugs are each
marked with a colored band and label.
Administering the Carbon Dioxide
Selecting the appropriate ow rate:
The red color indicates the sinter plug with the higher CO2
ow rate. This end should be used and attached to the pres-
sure reducing regulator in the following situations:
• when the disturbance from the mosquitoes strongly in-
creases,
• at the beginning of the high season for mosquitoes (ge-
nerally in August),
• after ooding events and
• when there are still puddles or similar collections of wa-
ter that have not dried up 7 days after heavy rainfall. In
this amount of time, mosquitoes eggs can develop into
adult mosquitoes.
In most situations, using the end with the blue color which
contains the standard sinter plug is an appropriate choice.
Attach either the red or blue end of the CO2Y-tube, depen-
ding on your mosquito situation, to the pressure reducing
regulator. On a regulator with a fast connection opening,
connect the chosen tube ending straight into the designated
outlet on the regulator. On a regulator with a screw on con-
nection, unscrew the nut on the outlet, thread the end of the
CO2tube through the nut, insert the end of the CO2tube onto
the outlet and re-screw the nut back onto the outlet [F9].

The other end of the CO2Y-tube with the sinter plug that is
not attached to the regulator does not need to be closed o
or attached to anything. The resistance from the sinter plug
forces the entered CO2through the easier path down the CO2
tube towards the trap.
The following is a consumption table of CO2comparing the
two CO2 ow rates:
Attaching the CO2tube to the nozzle on the trap:
Insert the long end of the CO2tube (opposite end of the Y-
connection with red and blue sinter plugs) into the designa-
ted opening on the CO2emitter nozzle on the BG-Mosqui-
taire CO2 trap [F10].
1. Open the valve on the CO2gas cylinder by turning it counterclockwise until it is completely open.
2. Connect the power supply unit to the trap and plug it into a wall socket.
The trap is now in operation.
ATTENTION: The BG-Mosquitaire CO2 must be connected to the mains supply 24 hours a day; otherwise, the mosquitoes will
be able to escape from the trap.

Positioning the Trap: When and Where?
The correct placement of the trap is an important factor that heavily influences its effectiveness. A detailed description of how
to best position the traps can be found in the internet at:

When?
The correct timing and positioning of the BG-Mosquitaire CO2is crucial to the success of the catch rate and the reduction of
biting pressure throughout the season. If you set up the trap during the course of the year, when mosquitoes have already
heavily multiplied, it will take longer until the noticeable reduction of the mosquito population is reached. A quicker solution
for controlling the situation is to set up the trap as soon as the season begins (May-June) or use multiple traps simultaneously.
The correct time to operate the trap: The trap should be put out when the daytime temperature has risen over 15°C (60°F)
for several days. At this time, mosquitoes become active and begin mating. It is best to catch the mosquitoes now before they
have a chance to reproduce and lay their eggs. One captured female mosquito correlates to 200 fewer ospring!
Important: After ooding events or very heavy rainfall it is possible that massive numbers of mosquito eggs, which have been
deposited in areas that had not been exposed to ooding in the last couple of years, hatch at the same time. In these situations
with large populations of mosquitoes, it will take longer to reach a considerable decrease and feel a dierence to neighboring
areas.
Where?
The location of the trap is crucial to the success of the catch rate. If the trap is improperly placed, the catch rate will not be
sucient enough to successfully reduce the local mosquito population.
The correct position: The BG-Mosquitaire CO2trap is meant to be used in the garden, on patios and balconies as well as in
courtyards. To locate an optimal area to place the trap, you must establish where the mosquitoes are coming from. The mos-
quitoes come from the following directions:
1. Breeding waters: Mosquitoes lay their eggs in stagnant water. From there, the recently emerged mosquitoes begin se-
arching for their rst prey. Possible breeding waters should be located and removed when possible. These include:
• wet habitats, ponds and puddles (all that do not contain small sh),
• rain barrels, rain gutters, or other water containers and
• ower pots, standing ower vases, plant saucers or similar containers.
2. Resting places: Mosquitoes rest most of the time in foliage, e.g. bushes, and other shady, windless places with high humi-
dity. Other resting places could be basements, garages, canopies, or similar structures oering shade and protection from
wind. From these places, mosquitoes also begin their search for prey. Mosquitoes do not like places with intense, direct
sun exposure or wind.
Place the trap upright on the ground in a position that is sheltered from wind, rainfall, and direct sunlight [F11].
The trap needs to be positioned close to mosquito breeding spots or resting zones [F12].

Sheltering the trap from rain:
Even though rainfall does not damage the trap, there are negative eects of rain that might decrease the catch rate:
• Mosquitoes avoid rain and prefer sheltered positions. In sheltered positions the catch rate can be therefore higher.
• Rain might disrupt the airow by clogging the pores of the cover. This causes a reduction in the suction power of the ven-
tilator and also a reduction of the catch rate. Therefore ensure that the trap is sheltered from rainfall.
If you do not nd a naturally sheltered position for the trap, it would be best to position the trap under a covered area, or a self
made shelter to keep it out of direct rainfall.
It is important to follow the following guidelines when sheltering the trap from the rain:
• Whatever is placed over the trap must be at least 0.5 meters above the top surface of the trap. Any distance lower will
hinder the visual signals and air currents of the trap and consequently reduce the catch rate.
• Make sure the shelter covers an adequate area around the trap, so that rain cannot enter from the sides.
• Make sure the shelter is stable and durable.

The graphic below [F15] depicts possible locations for the BG-Mosquitaire CO2 between mosquito breeding spots, mosquito
resting areas, and the house. Please position the trap so that no one can trip over the power cord.

Further criteria for positioning the trap:
• The CO2 gas cylinder must be securely xed in a vertical
position. It should be xed with ropes or cords to pre-
vent it from falling over.
• The CO2cylinder should not be exposed to direct sun-
light, intense heat, or extreme cold or frost.
• The pressure reducing regulator needs to be protected
from rain. Place a plastic bag over it or place it under
shelter.
• Please make sure that people, children and animals can-
not trip over the electric cables or CO2tube.
• The trap should be placed on the ground, or relatively
close to the ground.
The BG-Mosquitaire CO2(especially the top of the trap) must be clearly visible. Therefore do not place the trap under very den-
se bushes [F13]. A distance of at least 0.5 meters above the top of the trap needs to be kept clear [F14]. Reducing the clearance
above the top of the trap will hinder the visual signals and air currents of the trap and consequently reduce the catch rate.

Changing the catch bag in ve steps:
1. While the ventilator is still running, pull the black intake
funnel with the catch bag halfway out of the trap (about
10 cm). Keep the catch bag within the suction current
of the ventilator so that the mosquitoes cannot escape.
2. Pull the catch bag (3) o of the intake funnel (1) and fun-
nel net (2) and set aside the intake funnel with the still
attached funnel net. Make sure to keep the catch bag
within the suction current of the ventilator [F16].
3. Pull the cord on the catch bag shut to close the catch
bag [F16].
4. Place the closed catch bag in the sun or in a freezer for
at least 2 hours to kill the mosquitoes.
5. Replace the new catch bag over the cleaned funnel net
by following Step 2 from the section titled ‘Assembling
the trap‘ and place it back into the opening on top of
the trap.
General: When working with the BG-Mosquitaire CO2trap
and also when monitoring the catch results, household
gloves should be worn and the catch bag should be properly
removed. This is to ensure the captured mosquitoes that are
still alive cannot escape.
Use a damp cloth to clean the plastic part of the trap. Do not
use any cleaning agents, solvents, or insecticides because
the residues from these products can have a repelling eect
for the mosquitoes and consequently reduce the catch rate
of the trap. Do not use any pointy or rough objects to clean
the trap.
From time to time, check and make sure that:
• the electrical power supply is on,
• the ventilator of the trap is running smoothly,
• the nets and gauze are not dirty or clogged with dirt and
• there is enough carbon dioxide in the CO2gas cylinder.
Emptying, cleaning and exchanging the catch bags and fun-
nel nets:
It is important to clean or replace the catch bag and funnel
net because overtime, they can become clogged with dirt,
pollen or dust. This restricts the airow and drastically redu-
ces the catch rate of the trap. The catch bag should be emp-
tied and cleaned or replaced as soon as one of the following
situation occurs:
• the catch bag is half full
• the Biogents Basic dispenser needs to be exchanged (af-
ter six to eight weeks)
• the air ow through the catch bag is obstructed by dust,
pollen, or dirt
ATTENTION: Regularly check the condition of the catch bag. If
it has been damaged or torn, it needs to be replaced.

Cleaning, replacing and repositioning the white gauze co-
vering:
If the gauze covering is no longer white, then it must be clea-
ned or replaced. The white gauze covering is responsible for
a black / white contrast on the top of the trap that is impor-
tant in attracting mosquitoes over a close range. If the gauze
covering has slipped out of position or has been pushed in,
then it needs to be repositioned.
New, clean gauze allows air currents to easily ow out of the
trap from the fan and increases the contrast between the
black intake funnel and the white gauze. Both help to im-
prove the catch rate of the trap. You can purchase the white
gauze cover as a replacement part from our webshop.
Cleaning the catch bag and funnel net:
If the catch bag and funnel net are not damaged then they can be cleaned and used again. Soak the material in clean water (not
over 30°C) for 15 minutes and then thoroughly rinse them in running water (not over 30°C). Do not use any soaps or cleaning
agents! Do not dry the material in a dryer and do not place them on any heaters!
1. Correctly remove the intake funnel and catch bag by the
steps described in ‚Changing the Catch Bag‘ and place
them aside [F16].
2. Detach the top part of the lid (5) from both inner faste-
ners by pressing the fasteners on the bottom part of the
lid (6) inwards until the top part of the lid pops up and
place it to the side [F17-F19].
3. Remove the gauze (4) and properly clean it or if it is ext-
remely dirty or damaged, then replace it with a new one
[F20].
4. Make sure the gauze is properly positioned so that there
are no openings or creases in the gauze and lock the top
part of the lid back into place. Also make sure that all
seven corners of the top lid are locked in properly [F21].
5. Place the intake funnel with the attached funnel net and
catch bag back into the trap.
To clean the gauze, follow the instructions on how to clean
the catch bag and funnel net; however, do not clean the
white gauze together with the black catch bag and funnel
net because the colors could possibly bleed. Do not use any
soaps or cleaning agents because the residues could have
repelling aects for the mosquitoes. If you do use soap, ple-
ase make sure to thoroughly rinse it to make sure the residue
is gone.

Basic knowledge: There are roughly 3500 dierent species
of mosquitoes worldwide and about 100 dierent species
in Europe. The perceived biting pressure is inuenced by
the combination of mosquito species, the weather during
and before the mosquito season, particular events such as
oods, the climate history of the previous years and from
regional circumstances (distance to breeding areas and/or
resting areas of mosquitoes).
In addition, it is not only mosquitoes that cause the regular
‘biting pressure‘. Biting midges can also play an important
role in increasing the biting pressure in northern regions and
the countryside. Horse ies and biting ies can also be fre-
quently found in the countryside as well. Blackies can be
extremely bothersome in areas with owing waters.
Performance range: The BG-Mosquitaire CO2attracts mos-
quitoes within a 10 to 20 meter distance. It does not attract
mosquitoes outside of this area into your yard. The area
in which a Biogents trap reduces the mosquito population,
however, can be much larger than this range of up to 20 me-
ters because mosquitoes will systematically explore their
surroundings. It is just a matter of time before an exploring
mosquito from further away enters the range of the trap and
is caught.
Inuencing factors: The reduction of the biting pressure by
the BG-Mosquitaire CO2trap depends on various factors.
1. The relation between the local population of mosqui-
toes and the new mosquitoes that y in daily. This de-
pends on:
• the species of mosquito in the area,
• ooding events where millions of mosquitoes
hatch simultaneously and y long distances,
• the distance to the breeding areas of the mosquitoes,
• the productivity of the mosquitoes and
• the distance to the resting areas of the mosquitoes.
2. The number and size of the paths that mosquitoes could
use to access your property. If there are several access
paths, then several Biogents traps may be required.
How you use the available resources and inuencing fac-
tors.
Seasonal approach :
• Since certain mosquito species respond particularly
well to a high output of carbon dioxide, begin opera-
ting the trap as early as possible on the low level for
CO2 consumption (Please see section ‘Positioning the
trap: When and Where?’)
• Increase the amount of CO2if the biting pressure in-
creases.
• Analyse your property to determine the best position
for the trap and experiment with dierent locations to
determine the best. Note that the quality of the trap
location can change with changes in wind direction.
Maintenance and care:
• A vacuum cleaner with a full bag or clogged lter
does not function properly anymore. This also g o e s
for the BG-Mosquitaire CO2trap. Therefore, regularly
check that:
• the catch bag and funnel net are not clogged
with pollen, dirt or dust.
• the catch bag is not too full. A halfway full catch
bag relates to tens of thousands of mosquitoes
and should be emptied.
• the catch bag is not damaged or torn.
• there is still pressure in the CO2gas cylinder.
• the white gauze covering is still white! The
white and black contrast is an important part
of the catching technology of the Biogents trap
and aids in attracting mosquitoes to the intake
funnel.
• Replace the Biogents dispener every six to eight
weeks.

The Biogents Basic dispenser enhances the catch rate of the
Biogents Mosquitaire CO2 trap specically for mosquitoes.
It contains lactic acid which is an important component of

a human body.
Directions for Use:
Remove the white envelope from the packaging and place it
into the inside of the suction tube of the Biogents mosqui-
to trap (between catch bag and fan). Do not open the white
envelope.
Additional Labeling:
Do not open packaging until time of use. Use only as direc-
ted. Wash hands after handling. Keep away from food, drink
and animal feeding stu.
Storage:
Store unopened package in a cool, dry, and well ventilated
place. If the unpacked dispenser is not in use, place back into
package, wrap in aluminium foil and store in a freezer (-5°C).
Avoid strong oxidising agents, acids and bases.
Disposal:
Dispose after use with household-waste (or country specic
advice).

• Bevor Sie die BG-Mosquitaire CO2in Betrieb nehmen, le-
sen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung bitte sorgfältig durch.
• Bei der Überprüfung der Fangergebnisse sollten Haus-
haltshandschuhe getragen werden. Damit keine gefange-
nen Mücken entkommen können, sollte der Fangtrichter
mit dem darunter hängenden Fangbeutel bei laufendem
Ventilator (Einsaugeekt) angehoben werden. Bei War-
tungsarbeiten sollte zuerst der Fangbeutel entnommen
und verschlossen und anschließend das Stromkabel aus
der Steckdose gezogen werden.
• Das Netzteil muss mit einer Steckdose verwendet wer-
den, die vor Regen und Spritzwasser geschützt ist.
• Netzteil und Verlängerungsschnur dürfen nicht repariert
werden. Bei Beschädigung müssen diese entsorgt und Er-
satzteile vom Hersteller bezogen werden.
• Die BG-Mosquitaire CO2darf nicht in einer Umgebung
mit entammbaren Gasen oder jedweder Art von Staub
betrieben werden.
• Die BG-Mosquitaire CO2ist nicht ausgelegt für die Be-
nutzung durch Personen (einschließlich Kindern), die in
ihren physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkei-
ten eingeschränkt sind oder die nicht über das Wissen
und die Erfahrung verfügen, das Produkt sachgemäß zu
bedienen.

mit für eine erstklassige und einzigartige Mückenfalle mit höchster, wissenschaftlich belegter Wirksamkeit entschieden. Das
Fangprinzip von Biogents Mückenfallen ist z.B. 2007 von der Weltbank im Rahmen des Development Market Place prämiert
und 2010 von Wissenschaftlern der Ruttgers Universität (USA) als neuer Goldstandard zum Fangen von Tigermücken ausge-
rufen worden.
Unter Berücksichtigung der oben genannten Punkte ist die BG-Mosquitaire CO2für den Fang von Mücken im Freien geeignet.
Das Produkt sollte aber vor großer Hitze (über 45°C), direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und Kälte (unter 5°C) geschützt werden.
Stellen Sie die Falle nicht in einer staubigen Umgebung auf, da sonst die Netze verstopfen können. Während der Mückensai-
son ist der Betrieb des Ventilators des BG-Mosquitaire CO2rund um die Uhr und ohne Unterbrechungen empfehlenswert, da
ansonsten bereits gefangene Mücken wieder entkommen könnten.
Bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch oder Veränderungen am Produkt übernimmt der Hersteller keinerlei Haftung. Bitte lesen Sie
die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch und beachten Sie die Informationen und Hinweise, insbesondere was die Wahl des
Aufstellortes und die Pegeanleitung angeht.
Sicherheitsvorschriften und Sachgemäße Verwendung
• Kinder sollten darauf hingewiesen werden, sich von dem
Produkt fernzuhalten. Stellen Sie BG-Mosquitaire CO2au-
ßerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
• Verwenden Sie nur Zubehör und Ersatzteile, die vom
Hersteller empfohlen werden. Die Verwendung fremder
Netze kann die Fangquote der Falle erheblich beein-
trächtigen oder ihre Funktion vollkommen unterbinden.
Biogents übernimmt keine Haftung für Schäden am Pro-
dukt, die durch die Verwendung von nicht originalen Zu-
behörteilen entstehen.
• ACHTUNG: Befestigen Sie die CO2-Flasche senkrecht an
einer stabilen Halterung, damit sie immer aufrecht steht.
CO2-Flaschen, die nicht senkrecht aufgestellt sind, stel-
len ein Sicherheitsrisiko dar.
• Kohlendioxid (CO2) kann von verschiedenen Herstellern
bezogen werden. Befolgen Sie immer die Anweisungen
und Sicherheitsvorschriften des Herstellers beziehungs-
weise Lieferanten.
• Reparaturen an der BG-Mosquitaire CO2sollten nur von
qualizierten Fachkräften und mit Original-Teilen durch-
geführt werden.

Zusammenbau der Falle
- in vier Schritten
1. Entnehmen Sie den Biogents Basic Dispenser (13) aus
der Plastikverpackung [F1] und stecken Sie den Dispen-
ser in die dafür vorgesehene Aussparung im Innentun-
nel des Fallenkörpers [F2].
2. Ziehen Sie das Trichternetz (2) auf die Unterseite des
Einsaugtrichters (1) [F3]. Befestigen Sie dann den Fang-
beutel (3) ebenso. Das Trichternetz bendet sich jetzt im
Inneren des Fangbeutels [F4].
3. Legen Sie nun den Einsaugtrichter in die zentrale, große
Önung auf der Fallenoberseite [F5].
4. Stecken Sie die Kohlensäure-Düse (10) in die dafür vor-
gesehenen Löcher in dem Fallendeckel [F6].

Empfohlene Flaschentypen und Bezugsquellen:
Um die Falle mit dem Lockmittel Kohlensäure zu versorgen,
benötigt man eine handelsübliche Kohlensäure-Druckgas-
asche mit 6 oder mehr kg Füllgewicht, die über Getränke-
großhändler gegen Pfandhinterlage gemietet werden kann.
Gegebenenfalls ist eine Anlieferung durch den Händler bis
zur Haustüre möglich. Wir empfehlen eine 10-kg-Flasche,
wie sie auch in der Gastronomie für Schankanlagen verwen-
det wird.

Schließen Sie den Druckminderer an die Kohlensäurea-
sche an:
Die BG-Mosquitaire CO2 enthält einen speziellen Druckmin-
derer, der einen konstanten Ausgangsdruck von 0,7 bar über
die gesamte Gasentnahme gewährleistet.
Schrauben Sie den Druckminderer an die Kohlensäurea-
sche und ziehen Sie die Anschlussmutter mit einem Schrau-
benschlüssel oder einer Rohrzange fest [F8].
Stellen Sie den Kohlensäureverbrauch ein, indem Sie eines
der beiden farblich markierten Schlauchenden am Druck-
minderer anschließen:
Die Biogents-Sinter-Technologie ist ein elementarer Bau-
stein, um Ihr Biogents Fangsystem den örtlichen und saiso-
nalen Gegebenheiten exibel anpassen zu können. Mit den
im CO2-Schlauch enthaltenen Sinterelementen mit unter-
schiedlichen Durchussraten, können Sie den CO2-Verbrauch
der Falle entsprechend der Mückensituation einstellen.
Verwendung der Kohlensäure Das BG-Mosquitaire CO2Set umfasst einen CO2-Schlauch
mit drei Ausgängen. Die beiden kurzen Enden an der Y-Ver-
zweigung enthalten je ein Sinterelement und sind für den
Anschluss am Druckminderer bestimmt. Die beiden unter-
schiedlichen Sinterelemente sind jeweils farblich markiert.
Wählen Sie den richtigen CO2-Durchuss:
Das rote Band markiert den Sinter, der einen höheren CO2-
Durchuss zulässt. Dieses Ende sollte in folgenden Fällen an
den Druckminderer angeschlossen werden:
• wenn die Belästigung durch Mücken stark zunimmt
• mit Beginn der Hauptsaison für Mücken (in der Regel im
August)
• nach Überutungsereignissen
• in der Nähe von Pfützen und ähnlichen Wasseransamm-
lungen, die nach mehr als sieben Tagen nicht ausge-
trocknet sind (in dieser Zeit entwickeln sich die erwach-
senen Stechmücken aus den Eiern).
Der Anschluss des blau markierten Schlauchendes an den
Druckminderer ist in den meisten Standardsituationen die
richtige Wahl.
Schließen Sie also entweder das rot markierte oder das blau
markierte Ende des CO2-Schlauchs an den Druckminderer an.
Bei einem Druckminderer mit Schnellverbindungsönung
schieben Sie das ausgewählte Schlauchende einfach bis
zum Anschlag in die Önung des Druckmindererausgangs.
Bei einem Druckminderer mit Schraubverbindungsönung
müssen Sie zusätzlich den Schraubverschluss handfest an-
ziehen [F9].
