Incorrect use of the Power Magic Ultra Battery can lead to poor performance and may cause overheating, ignition, explosion,
etc. To use the product correctly please observe the following directions:
yFamiliarize yourself with the contents of the user manual before using the product.
yOnly use original BlackVue cables provided by the manufacturer. For replacements contact customer support or your
nearest distributor.
yOnly use the product to power a dashcam.
yDo not expose the product to direct sunlight or heat.
yDo not expose to high temperatures.
yDo not use a cigarette lighter multi-socket splitter (adapter) with the product.
yDo not put the product in a microwave oven or place it in a high-pressure environment.
yDo not repair or modify the product yourself.
yDo not throw the battery or subject it to any physical shock.
yDo not disassemble, compress or puncture the product.
yDo not use the product in an electrostatic environment as it can aect the operation of the battery protection circuitry.
yIf the product emits an unusual odor during use, unplug it immediately and contact customer support or your nearest
distributor.

Disposal of your battery pack
1. All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of separately from the municipal waste stream via designated
collection facilities appointed by the government or the local authorities. Contact local authorities to learn about disposal
and recycling options available in your area.
2. Do not incinerate or expose to re. Exposure to excess heat may result in re or an explosion.

Installation guide
1. Set the power switch to the OFF position.

2. For DIY installation using a cigarette lighter plug power cable:
a. Plug the cigarette lighter plug power cable into the Ultra Battery’s DC in port. Plug the other end of the power cable
into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.

b. Set the power switch to the Cigarette position. Proceed to step 3.

Caution
When using a cigarette lighter plug power cable you must set the switch to Cigarette. If you set the switch to the Hardwire position when
using a cigarette lighter plug power cable it may result in product failure, overheating, ignition, etc.

2. For a hardwired installation using a hardwiring power cable:
a. Plug the hardwiring power cable into the Ultra Battery’s DC in port.

b. Referring to your vehicle Owner’s Manual, identify a Switched (accessory power) fuse of more than 20A in your
interior fuse panel. Typical examples are the cigarette lighter and car stereo fuse slots.
Caution
If you connect the Ultra Battery to a Constant Power (BATT) fuse it may result in depletion of your vehicle’s
battery.
c. Remove the identied Switched fuse and match its type with one of the 3 fuse taps.
d. Insert the ACC wire into the connector end of the fuse tap. Use a crimping tool or pliers to crimp the connector onto
the wire.

e. Insert the fuse you removed from the fuse panel into the slot closest
to the blades on the fuse tap.
f. Insert a new fuse into the slot furthest away from the fuse tap blades.
g. Insert the fuse tap into the empty Switched fuse slot in the fuse panel.
h. Connect the ground wire (ring) to a ground point, such as a bolt, that is
directly on a bare metal part of the vehicle's frame. Secure the ground
wire to the bare metal frame (for example by securing it under the bolt).
i. Set the power switch to the Hardwire position.
3. Plug the‘Output cable’ into the port labeled Dashcam on the Ultra Battery.

4. Plug your dashcam’s power plug into the cigarette lighter socket on the Ultra Battery’s ‘Output cable’.
Note
To ensure good electrical contact you can use electrical tape to tape the plug and socket together.
5. Use a pry tool to lift the edges of the windshield trim/molding and tuck in the power cord. Use the supplied Velcro strips to
x the Ultra Battery in place

BlackVue Battery Manager App
Download the BlackVue Battery manager app from the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS) to manage
power and settings.
Connecting to the Ultra Battery via Bluetooth
1. Turn on the Ultra Battery.
–If you are using the cigarette lighter plug power cable set the power switch to the Cigarette position.
–If you are using the hardwiring power cable set the power switch to the Hardwire position.
2. Go to your smartphone’s Settings and turn on Bluetooth .
3. Open the BlackVue Battery manager app. Select your Ultra Battery from the list. If your Ultra Battery is not shown tap Scan
to refresh the list.
–A sticker with the unique Bluetooth ID is attached to each Ultra Battery.

Power Magic Expansion Battery B-124E (sold separately)
Easily double usage time by plugging in a Power Magic Expansion Battery B-124E (6,600 mAh / 84.5 Wh). When the Ultra Battery
and 1 Expansion Battery are fully charged they can supply power for up to 56 hours in total (based on a single dashcam that
consumes 3 Wh). Charging time is approximately 1 hour 40 mins (Cigarette lighter plug) / 60mins (Hardwired).
When you add 1 or more expansion batteries please adjust the total available battery capacity using the BlackVue Battery
manager app.
Multiple expansion batteries can be connected together in sequence to extend usage time even further. Please note charging
time will also increase accordingly.

Wegwerpen van de batterij
1. Alle elektrische en elektronische producten dienen afzonderlijk van het huishoudelijk afval te worden afgevoerd via
speciale inzamelingspunten die hiervoor zijn aangewezen door de overheid of de plaatselijke autoriteiten. Neem contact
op met de plaatselijke autoriteiten om meer te weten te komen over de mogelijkheden van wegwerpen en hergebruik die
beschikbaar zijn in uw omgeving.
2. Niet verbranden of blootstellen aan vuur. Blootstelling aan overmatige hitte kan leiden tot brand of een explosie.

1. Zet de aan/uit-schakelaar in UIT-stand.

2. Voor Doe-het-zelf-installatie met behulp van een voedingskabel van de sigarettenaansteker:
a. Steek de voedingskabel van de sigarettenaansteker in de DC in -poort van de Ultra Battery. Steek het andere uiteinde
van de voedingskabel in aansluiting van de sigarettenaansteker van het voertuig.

Let op
Wanneer u een voedingskabel van de sigarettenaansteker gebruikt, dient u de schakelaar op Cigarette te zetten. Als u de schakelaar in
Hardwire-stand zet wanneer u een voedingskabel van de sigarettenaansteker gebruikt, kan dit leiden tot storing, oververhitting, ontsteking,
enz. van het product.

2. Voor een bedrade installatie met een bedrade voedingskabel:
a. Steek de bedrade voedingskabel in de DC in -poort van de Ultra Battery.

b. Gebruik de gebruikershandleiding van uw voertuig om een Omgeschakelde (accessoire vermogen) zekering van
meer dan 20 A in uw interne zekeringspaneel te vinden. Meer voorkomende voorbeelden zijn de sigarettenaansteker
en zekeringssleuven van de stereo van de auto.
Let op
Als u de Ultra Battery aansluit op een zekering met Constant vermogen (BATT), kan dit leiden tot uitputting
van de accu van uw voertuig.
c. Verwijder de gevonden Omgeschakelde zekering en paar het type ervan met een van de 3 zekeringsuiteinden.
d. Steek de ACC -draad in het connectoruiteinde van het zekeringsuiteinde. Gebruik een krimpgereedschap of tang om
de connector op de draad te krimpen.

e. Steek de zekering die u van het zekeringspaneel hebt verwijderd in de
sleuf die zich het dichtst bij de mesjes op het zekeringsuiteinde bevindt.
f. Steek een nieuwe zekering in het sleue dat het verst verwijderd is
van de mesjes van het zekeringsuiteinde.
g. Steek het zekeringsuiteinde in het lege Omgeschakelde zekeringssleuf
in het zekeringspaneel.
h. Sluit de aardingsdraad (ring) aan op een aardpunt (zoals een bout) dat zich direct op een kaal metalen deel van het
frame van het voertuig bevindt. Bevestig de aardingsdraad aan het kale metalen frame (bijvoorbeeld door deze vast te
zetten onder de bout).
i. Zet de aan/uit-schakelaar in Hardwire -stand.
3. Steek de‘Uitgangskabel’in de poort met het label Dashcam op de Ultra Battery.

4. Steek de stekker van uw dashcam in de sigarettenaansteker op de‘Uitgangskabel’ van de Ultra Battery.
Opmerking
Om te zorgen voor een goed elektrisch contact, kunt u elektrische tape gebruiken om de stekker en de aansluiting
aan elkaar te bevestigen.
5. Gebruik de wrikker om de hoeken van de afwerking van de voorruit op te tillen en duw het netsnoer eronder. Gebruik de
meegeleverde klittenbandjes om de Ultra Battery op zijn plaats te bevestigen
