Use
—Before using your oven for the first time, heat it while empty for
approximately 15 minutes. You should ensure you heat each ele-
ment in the oven before use. Make sure that the room is sufficiently
ventilated. You may notice a particular odour, or a small release of
smoke. All of this is normal.

Your
appliance
is intendedfor standard
household
use.Do not
use it for
commercial
or industrial purposes or for any other pur-
posethanthat for which it
was
designed.

designed
for use by private
individuals

It is
intended solely
for cooking
foodstuffs. This oven
does
not
contain any asbestos-based
components.

Do not modify or attempt to modify
any
of the
characteristics
of
this
appliance. This would
be
dangerous
to yoursafety.
—
Never
pullyour
appliance
bythe door handle.
—
When placing dishes inside
or
removing
them from the
oven,
do
not
place
your
hands
close to the upper
heating elements and
use
heat-protective kitchen
gloves.
—
At the
end
of cooking, do not pick up
oven
or grill
items (grid,

tisserie,...)
with your
bare
hands.
—
Never place aluminium
foil
directly
in contact with the floor of the
oven
(see
the chapter on oven
description),
as
accumulated
heat
may cause deterioration
of the enamel.

Do not place
heavy
weights on the open oven door, and make
surethat childrenare
able neither
to climb nor sit on it.

Do not useyour
oven
asa
larder
or to store

After usingyour
oven, make
surethat all the controls
are
in their
stop position.

In addition to the
accessories
supplied with your
oven,
only use
dishes
capable
of
withstanding
high
temperatures
(follow the ma-
nufacturer’s
instructions).
Cleaning
bypyrolysis
—
Before beginning
a
pyrolysis cleaning cycle
in your
oven,
remove
all parts of your grids, trays and accessories and remove major
spill residue.
—
During
cleaning,
the surfaces may become warmer than under
normal conditions of use. It is advisable to keep small children
away
from the appliance.
Maintenance
andcleaning
—
Do not usea
steam cleaner
.
—
For
any cleaning operation inside
the
oven cavity,
the
oven
must
be
switched
off.
—
Before unclipping
the
glass, allow
the
appliance
to cool.
—
Before removing
the back,
ensure
that the
appliance
is powered
down. After
cleaning,
the back should be
replaced
in accordance
with the instructions.
—
Donot
use abrasive cleaning
productsor
hard metal scrapers

—
Do not use
abrasive cleaning
products or hard metal scrapers
for
cleaning
the
oven's
glass door, as they could scratch the sur-
faceand
cause
the glassto shatter.
—
To
clean
both the
electronic programmer
windowandthe oven
door, usea soft cloth.
—
Do not use
cleaning
products,
abrasive creams
or scouring
sponges.
Warning:
Make
sure the
appliance
is disconnected from the power before
replacing the lamp in order to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Change
the lamp only when the appliance has cooled down. To
unscrew the view port and the light, use a rubber glove, which
will make
disassembly
easier.
Warning :
Installation should only be performed by qualified installers and
technicians.
Warning :
The
electrical plug must remainaccessible after installation.
It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the power
supply, either using a plug or by fitting a switch on the fixed
wiring systemin accordancewith installation rules.
If the power cable is
damaged,
it shouldbe replaced by the man-
ufacturer, its after-sales service department or by a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid danger.

downward.

close the door it will lock
again.

ed the lug/switch is stillin the downward posi-

CHOICE OF LOCATION
The above diagrams show
the
dimensions
of a
cabinet
that will be
able
to hold your oven.
This appliance may
be
installed either under
aworktop or in acab-
inet
column, as indicated
on the
installation diagram.
If the cabinet
is
open,
its
opening
must be 70mmmaximum.
Your oven has optimised air circulation that allows it to achieve
remarkable
cooking and cleaning results if the following guide-
lines
arefollowed:
—
Centre
the
oven
in the unit so as to
ensure
a
minimum
distance
of
10
mm
between
the
appliance and
the
surrounding
unit.
The material
of the unit supporting the
appliance
must be
heat-re-
sistant (or
covered
with a
heat-resistant material).
For
greater
sta-
bility, attach the ovento the unit with 2 screws through the holes
provided
on theside
panels
(fig.1).

Anti-tipping safetygrid (fig.1)
Thegrid can be used to hold all dishes and
moulds containing
foodstuffs to be cooked or
browned.
It can be usedfor
barbecues
(to be
placed
di-
rectlyon the grid).
•
Multi-purpose
dish (fig.2)
Inserted
under the grid, it catches barbecue
juices and
grease.
It can also be
used
half-full
of water for
double-boiler
cooking methods.
Avoid placing roasts or meats directly in the
dish
because
you are certain to
have
major
spattering
on the
oven
walls.
•
Baking sheet(fig.3)
It
serves as a cake dish and has a sloped
edge.
It is used for cooking pastries such as cream
puffs,
meringues, madeleines,
puff
pastry,
etc.
•
Hollow dish fitted with a special bar-
becue support grid (fig.4)
It is used to collect juices and grease from
cooking with the high grill or the
pulsed
grill.
It can be used as a cooking dish whensuitable
for the
size
of the item to be cooked
(e.g.
whole
poultry surrounded with
vegetables,
at moder-
atetemperature).
Never place this dish directly on the base,
exceptin

Setting the time.
- When
the
appliance
is startedup:

flash
on the
display
(fig.1)
Adjustethe timeby
pressing
the
+
or
-
adjustement
buttons (if youhold themdown,
the time will count up
quickly)
(fig.2).

Press
the “”touch control to enter.
The display
stops flashing.

Toresetthe clock time
The function selector must be in the 0 posi-
tion (fig.1).
Press
and hold the “ ”touch control for a
few seconds until the display is flashing
(fig.2), then release. Beeps are sounded
t
o
indicate
that it is now
possible
to set.
Adjusttheclock settingwiththe
+ and -
touch
controls (fig.3).
Press the “” touch control to confirm
(fig.4).

Important
If the “ ”touch control is not
pressed,

setting will be automatically recorded after a
few seconds.

The programmer should display only the
time.
It
should
not be
flashing

Turn the function selector to the position of
yourchoice.
Example:

Your oven suggests the optimal temperature
for this typeof cooking.
It is,
however, possible
to adjustthe tempera-
ture by turning the
temperature
selection
knob toward
+
or
-
(fig.3)
Example:temperature setting: 210°C (fig.
4).
Place
your dish in the
oven based
on the rec-
ommendations
provided by the cooking
guide.

- Select
the
desired
cooking
mode and
adjust
the
temperature

- Press

flashing .
The display flashes 0:00
to indicatethat you
cannowadjustthesetting (fig.2).
- Press
the

or
-
touchcontrolsto set the de-
sired
time.

USING THE TIME SWITCH
FUNCTION
-
Your oven’s programmer can be used as an
independent timer that allows you to count
down a time without operating the oven.
In this
case,
the timer
display
has priority over
the clock display.
- Press
the“ ”
TOUCH CONTROL
(fig.1)
untilthe
timer
symbol
flashes
->0.00 and
a
small hourglass
flashes.
-
Set the desired time by pressing the
+
or
-
buttons until the desired duration is shown
(max.60 minutes).

- Press
on the “ ”touch control to confirm
or waitafewseconds.
Wait
for afew
seconds. The display
willstop flashing
and
the timeswitch willstart up,countingdownthe timein seconds.
When
the time
has elapsed,
a
series
of
warning beeps
willsound.

ADJUSTING THE DISPLAY
BRIGHTNESS
The
brightnessof the displayis adjustable.To
change
it:
-
Setthe
programmer
timeto
00:10 and
confirm
(fig.1).
- Press simultaneously
on the
+ and -
touch con-
trols for
10 seconds
until “CO” is
displayed;
you
are
not in
configuration mode
(fig.2).
- Press
the
+
and
-
touch controls to obtain the
desired
brightness.
After
having adjusted
the
brightness
to your lik-
ing, wait a few seconds and return your pro-
grammer
to thecurrenttimeof day.
