Patient Quick Set-Up Guide
1. Button Functions
Home Button: Return to the previous menu or main interface.
Knob: Adjust device settings.
Start / Stop Button: Start / Stop delivering air.

A. Connect one end of the tube to the assembled mask.
B. Connect one end of the tube to the air outlet of the device, as shown in the figure
above. Or Connect the heated tubing joint to the air outlet of the device, and then insert
the power plug of the heated tubing into the heated tubing port on the back of the
device.
C. Connect the power adapter to the DC inlet of the main device.
D. Connect the power cord to the power adapter.
E. Plug the power cord into the power outlet.
3. Adjusting Device Settings
A. When the device is powered on, the display screen will display the Main Interface, as
shown in the left figure below. If the heated tube is connected correctly, the icon will
become a number in the Main Interface on the screen of the device, as shown in the
right figure below.

Conecte la máscara previamente montada a un extremo del tubo.

C. Conecte el adaptador de corriente a la entrada DC del dispositivo principal.
D. Conecte el cable de alimentación al adaptador de corriente.
E. Enchufe el cable de alimentación a la toma de corriente.
Ajuste de la configuración del dispositivo
A. Al encender el aparato, la pantalla mostrará la interfaz principal, tal como aparece en
la imagen inferior izquierda. Si el tubo de aire caliente está conectado correctamente, el
icono se convertirá en un número en la interfaz principal de la pantalla, como
se muestra en la figura inferior derecha.
Conecte el otro extremo del tubo a la salida de aire del dispositivo, como se muestra
en la imagen de arriba. O conecte la unión del tubo de aire caliente a la salida de
aire del dispositivo y luego inserte el enchufe del tubo en el puerto del tubo de aire
caliente situado en la parte posterior del aparato.

B. When the cursor is on the icon , press the Knob to access the Initial Setup
Interface of the Patient Menu, as shown in the figure below. The Heated Tubing option
can only be adjusted when the device is connected to the heated tube, as shown in the
figure right below.
C. Press the Knob to select option which will be adjusted, as shown in the figure
below.
D. Turn the Knob to adjust an option.
E. Press the Knob to confirm your adjustment to the option.
F. The cursor switches among the options as you turn the Knob , as shown in the figure
below. Refer to steps C-E to adjust other options. Press the Home Button to exit the
Setup Interface.
4. Starting Treatment
After you finish adjusting device settings and return to the Main Interface, press the Start /
Stop Button to start treatment.

5. Usage score of Luna®G3 APAP (LG3600) / Luna®G3 CPAP (LG3500)
After each treatment, Luna®G3 APAP (LG3600) / Luna®G3 CPAP (LG3500) will provide a
Usage Score (for CPAP and AutoCPAP mode only) and Usage Summary on the screen for
the user to get a quick understanding of the usage for the recent one day (from 12:00
noon of previous day to 12:00 noon of the day).
The total score is 100 points, with the below breakdown:

Used time (60 points)
The more time of treatment the user received, the more points the user scores. If the
device is used for 30 minutes, get 5 points, or for 1 hour, get 10 points. The user can score
up to 60 points.

Mask seal (20 points)
If the user is wearing the mask well without extra leakage during treatment, then the user
can score up to 20 points. If the average leakage is less than 10 L/min, it scores 20 points,
and 5 points will be deducted for every 5 L/min increase in leakage.

Respiratory events (10 points)
The fewer the respiratory events (apneas and hypopneas), the higher the score.
If AHI is less than 5, it scores 10 points, when AHI ≥ 5 and for every 5 increase in AHI, 2 points
is deducted.

Trás cada tratamiento, Luna G3 APAP (LG3600) / Luna G3 CPAP (LG3500) muestra en la
pantalla una puntuación (solo para los modos CPAP y AutoCPAP) y un resumen de uso
para que el usuario reciba una idea global de su uso durante el último día (desde las
12:00 pm del día anterior hasta las 12:00 pm del día en curso).
La puntuación total es de 100 puntos, con el siguiente desglose:

Cuanto más tiempo de tratamiento haya recibido el usuario, más puntos obtendrá. Si el
obtienen 10 puntos. El usuario puede conseguir un máximo de 60 puntos en total.

Alteraciones respiratorias
Si el usuario sella bien la mascarilla para evitar fugas durante el tratamiento, podrá obtener
hasta 20 puntos. Si la fuga media es inferior a 10 L/min, el usuario anotará 20 puntos,
mientras que por cada aumento de 5 L/min en el nivel de fuga, se deducirán 5 puntos.

Cuanto menor sea el número de alteraciones respiratorias (apneas e hipopneas), mayor
será la puntuación. Si el IAH es inferior a 5, el usuario conseguirá 10 puntos, mientras que
si es ≥ 5, se descontarán 2 puntos por cada 5 puntos de aumento del IAH.
