Füllen Sie den Wassertank mit kaltem
Leitungswasser.
Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit der Steckdose.
Stellen Sie den BONECO S200 auf eine stabile
Unterlage. Legen Sie das mitgelieferte Kalkpad auf die
Heizplatte.

Dampfausstoss.

EIN- UND AUSSCHALTEN
Die Bedienung des BONECO S200 erfolgt manuell. Das
Gerät läuft solange, bis der Drehregler in die Position «0»
bewegt wird.
Wenn der Wassertank leer ist, verhindert die automati-
sche Abschaltung eine Überhitzung oder Beschädigung
des Gerätes.
1. Schalten Sie den BONECO S200 ein, indem Sie den
Drehknopf von der Position «0» in die Position «I»
bewegen.
2. Erhöhen Sie die Befeuchtungsleistung, indem Sie
den Drehknopf in die Position «II» bewegen.
3. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, wenn die Luftfeuchtig-
keit Ihren Wünschen entspricht.
ANZEIGE IM BETRIEB
Der LED-Ring am Drehknopf signalisiert den Betriebs-
zustand.
Blau (konstant): Das Gerät arbeitet normal; es befindet
sich Wasser im Tank.
Rot (konstant): Das Gerät ist eingeschaltet. Die Ver-
dampfung ist jedoch automatisch abgeschaltet worden,
weil der Wassertank leer ist.
Blau (pulsierend): Der Reinigungsmodus ist aktiv.

KALKPAD AUSTAUSCHEN
Das Kalkpad nimmt den Kalk im Wasser auf, damit die
Heizplatte weniger schnell verkalkt. So arbeitet der
BONECO S200 stets mit optimaler Leistung und muss
weniger häufig entkalkt werden.
Mit der Zeit führt der aufgenommene Kalk dazu, dass das
Kalkpad hart wird und an Wirkung verliert.
Prüfen Sie das Kalkpad nach jeder Reinigung. Tauschen
Sie das Kalkpad aus, wenn es sich starr und hart anfühlt.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Trennen Sie den BONECO S200 immer vom Strom-
netz, bevor Sie mit der Reinigung beginnen! Nicht-
beachtung kann zu Stromschlägen führen und Leben
gefährden!
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung keinen Alkohol und
keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel.
GEHÄUSE REINIGEN
In den meisten Fällen reicht für die Reinigung ein trocke-
ned Tuch. Bei hartnäckigem Schmutz reinigen Sie das
Gehäuse mit einem feuchten Tuch. Geben Sie dem Was-
ser ein wenig Geschirrspülmittel bei. Ebenfalls geeignet
sind Haushaltstücher und Fensterreiniger.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Trennen Sie den BONECO S200 immer vom Strom-
netz und warten Sie eine Stunde, damit das Rest-
wasser abkühlen kann. Nichtbeachtung kann zu
schweren Verbrennungen führen!
ARBEITSWEISE
Obwohl der Kalk im Wasser zum grössten Teil vom
Kalkpad aufgenommen wird, verkalkt die Heizplatte des
BONECO S200 nach einer längeren Betriebsdauer.
Für eine einfache und unkomplizierte Entkalkung ist der
BONECO S200 mit einer Reinigungsfunktion ausgestat-
tet. Dabei wird die Heizplatte mehrmals erwärmt und
abgekühlt, sodass der Kalk brüchig wird und sich leicht
entfernen lässt.
DAUER DER REINIGUNG
Meistens dauert eine Reinigung etwa 1 bis 4 Stunden.
Die Dauer kann jedoch nach Ihrem Ermessen angepasst
werden, bis die gewünschte Wirkung erreicht ist.
REINIGUNG STARTEN
1. Schalten Sie den BONECO S200 aus und lassen Sie
das Gerät 1 Stunde lang abkühlen.
2. Entnehmen Sie das Kalkpad und entleeren Sie den
Wassertank.
3. Mischen Sie 1 Beutel CalcOff®mit 1 Liter warmem
Leitungswasser.
4. Geben Sie die Mischung in den BONECO S200.
5. Bewegen Sie den Drehknopf in die Position , um
die Reinigung zu starten.
6. Schalten Sie den BONECO S200 nach der gewünsch-
ten Reinigungszeit aus.
7. Trennen Sie den BONECO S200 vom Strom und spü-
len Sie die Wasserwanne mit Leitungswasser.
8. Legen Sie das Kalkpad zurück in die Wasserwanne.

Fill the water tank with cold tap water.
Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
Place the BONECO S200 on a stable surface. Place the included anti-mineral pad on the heating
plate.

SWITCHING ON AND OFF
The BONECO S200 is operated manually. The appliance
will run until the control knob is moved to the “0” position.
If the water tank is empty, automatic shut-off prevents
the appliance from overheating or becoming damaged.
1. Switch on the BONECO S200 by moving the control
knob from the “0” position to the “I” position.
2. Increase the humidity output by moving the control
knob to the “II” position.
3. Switch off the appliance once the desired humidity
has been reached.
DISPLAY DURING OPERATION
The LED ring on the control knob indicates the operat-
ing state.
Blue (constant): The appliance is functioning normally;
there is water in the tank.
Red (constant): The appliance is switched on. However,
the humidifying function has been switched off automati-
cally because the water tank is empty.
Blue (pulsing): Cleaning mode is active.

REPLACING THE ANTI-MINERAL PAD
The anti-mineral pad absorbs lime in the water so that
the heating plate does not become coated in limescale
as quickly. This allows the BONECO S200 to function
optimally at all times and descaling is required less fre-
quently.
Over time, the anti-mineral pad becomes hard and less
effective due to the absorbed lime.
Check the anti-mineral pad after each cleaning. Replace
the anti-mineral pad if it feels hard and rigid. You can find
replacements at your BONECO specialist dealer or in our
online store at this address:

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always unplug the BONECO S200 before you start
cleaning it! Failure to do so can result in electric
shock and fatal injury!
Do not use alcohol or corrosive cleaning agents for
cleaning.
CLEANING THE HOUSING
In most cases, a dry cloth can be used for cleaning. If
stubborn dirt is present, clean the housing using a damp
cloth. Add a small amount of dishwashing detergent to
the water. Household cloths and window cleaners can
also be used.

Always unplug the BONECO S200 and wait one hour
so the remaining water can cool down. Failure to do
so can result in severe burns!
PROCEDURE
Although the anti-mineral pad absorbs most of the lime
in the water, the heating plate of the BONECO S200 ex-
periences limescale build-up after an extended operating
time.
The BONECO S200 is equipped with a cleaning function
for simple and convenient descaling. This warms and
cools the heating plate multiple times in order that the
lime becomes crumbly and can be easily removed.
DURATION OF THE CLEANING
The cleaning usually lasts between 1 and 4 hours. How-
ever, the duration can be adjusted at your discretion until
the desired effect is achieved.
STARTING THE CLEANING
1. Switch off the BONECO S200 and let it cool down for
1 hour.
2. Remove the anti-mineral pad and empty the water
tank.
3. Mix 1 bag CalcOff®with 1 liter (about 1 quart) of
warm tap water.
4. Add the mixture to the BONECO S200.
5. Move the control knob to the position to start the
cleaning.
6. Switch off the BONECO S200 after the desired
cleaning time.
7. Unplug the BONECO S200 and rinse the water base
with tap water.
8. Place the anti-mineral pad back in the water base.
