The safety instructions and information on use in this documentation must be complied with strictly.
Read this documentation before installing and commissioning the frequency inverter.
Non-compliance with the precaution described may result in death, serious injury or material
damage.
Only qualified personnel trained in installation, commissioning and operation of frequency inverters
may carry out work on the frequency inverter and system.
The electrical installation must be carried out by qualified electricians according to the general and
regional safety and installation directives
Persons who are not familiar with the operation of the frequency inverter and children must not have
access to the device.
Commissioning and start of operation is not allowed until it has been verified that the machine meets
the requirements of the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and EN 60204.
Comply with the standards for work on equipment of heavy current installations such as EN 50178
and also with national accident prevention regulations and directives for electrical and mechanical
equipment erection.
Before commissioning and the start of the operation fix all covers, assemble all components of the
standard equipment and check the terminals.
No connection work may be performed, while the power supply is switched on.
High voltage may apply at terminals, even if the motor comes to a standstill.
Do not touch terminals before capacitors have discharged.
Do not touch the heat sink during operation as there is a risk of skin burn due to high temperature.
Do not remove covers during operation.
Do not touch electronic components or contacts.
Do not operate damaged or destroyed components.
Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer or persons who are authorized by the manufac-
turer.
Repairs must be carried out by qualified electrotechnical experts.
Do not modify the frequency inverter in any way not explained in this documentation.
The frequency inverter may be connected to power supply every 60 s. This must be considered when
operating a mains contactor in jog operation mode.
After a failure and restoration of the power supply, the motor may start unexpectedly. If personnel is
endangered, a restart of the motor must be prevented by means of external circuitry.
Do not connect an inappropriate voltage supply.
Keep the manual accessible to the operators.

The data sets can be switched-over via control terminals (refer to section “Functions of control

Die Sicherheits- und Anwendungshinweise in dieser Anleitung beachten.
Diese Anleitung muss vor der Installation und Inbetriebnahme des Frequenzumrichters gelesen
werden.
Werden die Sicherheits- und Anwendungshinweise nicht beachtet, können Tod, schwere
Körperverletzung und erheblicher Sachschaden die Folgen sein.
Nur qualifizierte Fachkräfte, die mit der Installation, Inbetriebnahme und Bedienung von
Frequenzumrichtern vertraut sind, dürfen am Frequenzumrichter arbeiten.
Die elektrische Installation muss von qualifizierten Elektrofachkräften gemäß den allgemeinen und
regionalen Sicherheits- und Installationsvorschriften ausgeführt werden.
Nicht mit der Bedienung des Frequenzumrichters vertrauten Personen und Kindern darf der Zugang
zum Gerät nicht ermöglicht werden.
Die Inbetriebnahme und Aufnahme des bestimmungsgemäßen Betriebs ist solange untersagt, bis
festgestellt wurde, dass die Maschine den Bestimmungen der EG-Maschinenrichtlinie 2006/42/EG und
der EN 60204 entspricht.
Bei Tätigkeiten am Frequenzumrichter müssen die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften, die geltenden
Normen BGV A2 (VBG 4), VDE 0100, die Normen zu Arbeiten an Anlagen mit gefährlichen
Spannungen (z. B. EN 50178) und andere nationale Vorschriften beachtet werden.
Vor der Inbetriebnahme und Aufnahme des bestimmungsgemäßen Betriebs müssen alle
Abdeckungen angebracht, alle zur Standardausrüstung des Frequenzumrichters gehörigen Bauteile
installiert sein und die Klemmen überprüft werden.
Wenn die Spannungsversorgung eingeschaltet ist, dürfen keine Anschlussarbeiten durchgeführt
werden.
An den Anschlussklemmen können gefährliche Spannungen anliegen, auch wenn der Motor stillsteht.
Solange die Kondensatoren des Zwischenkreises geladen sind, dürfen keine Klemmen berührt
werden.
Während des Betriebs nicht den Kühlkörper des Frequenzumrichters berühren. Ansonsten sind
Hautverbrennungen aufgrund hoher Oberflächentemperaturen möglich.
Während des Betriebs keine Abdeckungen des Frequenzumrichters abnehmen.
Keine elektronischen Bauelemente oder Kontakte berühren.
Keine beschädigten Bauteile in Betrieb nehmen.
Reparaturen dürfen nur vom Hersteller oder durch vom Hersteller zugelassene Personen durchgeführt
werden.
Reparaturen müssen von qualifizierten Elektrofachkräften durchgeführt werden.
Keine Änderungen am Frequenzumrichter durchführen, die nicht in dieser Anleitung beschrieben sind.
Der Frequenzumrichter darf alle 60 Sekunden an die Netzspannung geschaltet werden. Dies muss
beim Tippbetrieb eines Netzschützes beachtet werden.
Nach einem Ausfall und Wiederanliegen der Netzspannung kann es zum plötzlichen Wiederanlaufen
des Motors kommen. Ist eine Gefährdung von Personen möglich, muss eine externe Schaltung
installiert werden, die ein Wiederanlaufen verhindert.
Keine ungeeignete Spannungsquelle anschließen.
Diese Anleitung für den Bediener zugänglich aufbewahren.
