General safety recommendaons
Read all safety warn ings and all instrucons. Fail ure to follow the warnings and instrucons may result in
electric shock, re and/ or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instrucons for future reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or baery-operated
(cordless) power tool.
Work area safety
• Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluered or dark areas invite accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmos pheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power
tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
• Keep children and bystanders away while oper ang a power tool. Distracons can cause you to lose control.
Electrical safety
• Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools. Unmodied plugs and matching out lets will reduce risk of electric shock.
• Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded sur faces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrig erators. There is an
increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
• Do not expose power tools to rain or wet condions. Water entering a power tool will in crease the risk of electric shock.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil,
sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
• When operang a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor
use reduces the risk of electric shock.
• If operang a power tool in a damp locaon is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an
RCD reduc es the risk of electric shock.
NOTE: The term “residual current device (RCD)” may be replaced by the term “ground fault circuit interrupter
(GFCI)” or “earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB)”.
When working with the power tool avoid touch ing metal parts. Hold it using its insulated surfac es. In case of concealed wiring
or the current conducng cable damaging by an accessory, the operator can suer from electric shock.
Personal safety
• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operang a power tool. Do not use a power tool while
you are red or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medica on. A moment of inaenon while opera ng power tools
may result in serious per sonal injury.
• Use personal protecve equipment. Always wear eye protecon. Protecve equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety
shoes, hard hat, or hearing protecon used for appropriate condions will reduce personal injuries.
• Prevent unintenonal starng. Ensure the switch is in the o-posion before connecng to power source and/or baery
pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch or energizing power tools that have
the switch on invites accidents.
• Remove any adjusng key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key le aached to a rotang part of
the power tool may result in personal injury.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper foong and balance at all mes. This enables beer con trol of the power tool in unexpected
situaons.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothes, jew ellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
• If devices are provided for the connecon of dust extracon and collecon facilies, ensure these are connected and
properly used. Use of dust collecon can reduce dust-related hazards.
• In case the power tool is equipped with an addi onal handle, use it during operaon. It will allow to control the power tool.

Power tool use and care
• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your applicaon. The correct power tool will do the job beer
and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and o. Any power tool that can not be controlled with the switch
is dangerous and must be repaired.
• Disconnect the plug from the power source and/ or the baery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such prevenve safe ty measures reduce the risk of starng the power tool
accidentally.
• Store idle power tools out of the reach of chil dren and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instruc-
ons to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Maintain power tools. Check for misalign ment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condion that
may aect the power tool’s operaon. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many ac cidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
• Keep cung tools sharp and clean. Prop erly maintained cung tools with sharp cung edges are less likely to bind and are
easier to control.
• Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instrucons, taking into account the working
condions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operaons dierent from those intended could result in a
hazardous situaon.
Service
Have your power tool serviced by a qualied re pair person using only idencal replacement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.
Safety guidelines during power tool operaon
• Fix the processed blank with special xing devices or clutches ghtly.
• Dust created during work may be harmful for health, ammable or explosive. Clean working place regularly and use person-
al protecve equipment.
• Working place should be kept clean. Mixing dust and various substances may be dangerous. Dust of non-ferrous metals can
easily ignite and explode.
• Do not process asbestos-containing materials. Asbestos is a carcinogenic substance.
• If current-carrying cable was damaged during work, don’t touch it and immediately pull out the pin plug from socket. Use of
power tool with damaged current-carrying cable may result in electrocuon.
• Sabre saw blade may injure hands seriously, so keep your hands away from saw cut. Don’t hold the processed blank from
below.
• First, turn the power tool on, wait unl sabre saw blade gathers speed, and only aer that touch blank with the blade. If the
blade gets stuck in the blank, power tool can be thrown away.
• Warning: during saw cut support plate must be adjacent to the processed blank. If the sabre saw blade get bent during the
work process, it may get broken, and the power tool may be thrown away.
• Aer nishing the work, disconnect the power tool from power supply, wait unl the sabre saw blade stops - aer that, the
tool won’t be thrown away, and it can be put aside.
• Use sabre saw blades with no damages, cracks, etc. Bent or blunt blades may get broken which would lead to increased
vibraon of the power tool, and may result in kickback.
• Moving sabre saw blade by inera, applying force to its side surface is strictly prohibited -sabre blade may be damaged or
the power tool may be thrown away.
• To detect locaon of hidden ulies, such as electric wiring or piping, use appropriate detector or obtain this informaon
from relevant organizaons. If hidden wiring get damaged by the sabre saw blade, it may result in re and electrocuon.
Damage of gas pipe can lead to explosion. Damage of water piping can cause material damage.
• Periodically check xing of the sabre saw blade
- it should always be xed ghtly in the holder.
• If the used sabre saw blade is not intended for cung metals, remove any metal objects (nails, screws, hinges, etc.) before
work.
• Be sure that the power tool motor doesn’t stop under load.
• During operaon watch the posion of the current-carrying cable (it should always be behind the power tool). Avoid coiling
it around your legs or arms.
• To avoid spontaneous acvaon of the power tool in case of unexpected power supply break, immediately turn the switch
in the OFF posion.
• Aer deacvaon of the power tool, the sabre saw blade keeps moving by inera for some me, so put the tool aside only

aer the blade fully stops.
• During work, the blade heats intensively, don’t touch unl it cools down.

Installaon and regulaon of power tool elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it must be disconnected from the mains.
Do not draw up the fastening ele ments too ght to avoid damaging the thread.
Inserng / replacing of the saw blade (see g. 1)
Always wear protecve gloves when installing/removing the sabre saw blade 6, as it can be hot, and sharp
cung edges can cause injuries.
• Turn the xture bushing 3 as shown on gure 1.1 and keep it in this posion;
• When installing the sabre saw blade - insert blade 6 shank into the blade holder 2 (see g. 1.2).
• When removing the blade - take out the saw blade 6 from the blade holder 2. Warning: before removing the saw blade 6
make sure it has cooled down enough aer work.
• Release the xture bushing 3 (see g. 1.3).
• Check ghtness of the sabre saw blade 6 by pulling it. Warning: if xed insecurely, saw blade 6 can cause injures.
• The sabre saw blade 6 is allowed to be installed with teeth up- this may be required for specic kinds of work.
Support plate (see g. 2)
The support plate 1 facilitates work with the electric tools, it provides perpendicularity of the saw blade 6 towards the blank
and also serves as sawing stop allowing adapng to sawed material posion.
Facilitated by pivot xing, the support plate 1 automacally slopes depending on surface slope angle (see g. 2.3).
To move the support plate 1 forward or backward, do the following:
• Using alien key 5, loosen the xing bolts 7 (see g. 2.1).
• Set the support plate 1 into required posion by moving it forward or backward (see g 2.2).
• Using alien key 5, ghten xing bolts 7 (see g. 2.1 ).
Inial operaon of the power tool
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power supply voltage must match the informaon quoted on the power tool
idencaon plate.
Switching the power tool on / o
Short-term switching on / o
To switch on, press and hold on/ o switch 10, to switch o - release it.
Long-term switching on / o
Switching on:
Push on / o switch 10 and lock it in the posion with locking buon for on/ o switch 11.
Switching o:
Push and release on/ o switch 10.
Main features of the power tool
Strokes regulator
With strokes regulator 9, you can set a required number of saw blade 6 strokes (and within the work process as well).
• Press the on/o switch 1 O and x it with xture 11.
• Set up a required number of the sabre saw blade 6 strokes, rotang the regulang device 9.
Aer seng up a number of strokes of the sabre saw blade 6, it is recommended to make a probe saw kerf on the useless
piece of blank (made of the same material as the processed blank). During connuous work with small number of strokes, the
electric tool should be cooled down for 3 minutes, for this set the maximum number of strokes and let the electric tool run at
idle.

Steeples regulaon of a number of sabre saw blade strokes
Change of the number of strokes from O to maximum also depends from the force applied on the switch 10. A weak press
means a small number of strokes; this allows turning on the electric tool smoothly.
Number of strokes support funcon (*Not equipped on all models)
With this funcon, number of strokes at idle and under load is maintained almost at the same level providing for xed cung
eciency.
Operang instrucons
Selecng a sabre saw blade
Applicaon of the sabre saw blade is indicated on its package. You can also get an advice from the seller. Choose
the type of saw blade that best ts the sawed material, sawing mode or quality of the saw cung edge.
General recommendaons on saw cut
Before starng, it is recommended to make a probe saw kerf on the useless piece of blank made of the same material.
• Before starng, make sure that the blank is securely xed. If you use sabre saw blade 6 intended for cung wood, remove
any metal objects from the blank (nails, bolt screws etc.).
• Turn on the electric tool, wait unl the sabre saw blade 6 reaches the set number of strokes, and only then bring the sabre
saw blade 6 to the blank. Try not to put excessive pressure on the electric tool, this can overload it. Remember that sawing
cut takes some me.
• A special aenon should be paid to selecng the right sabre saw blade 6. Improper sabre saw blade 6 can cause excess
vibraon of the electric tool, worse quality of kerf as well as overheang of both sabre saw blade 6, and sawed material. In
such case it is recommended to switch the tool o and install more appropriate sabre saw blade 6.
• If the sabre saw blade 6 is jammed during operaon, immediately turn o the electric tool and try to increase the saw kerf,
and then carefully take the sabre saw blade 6 out of the kerf. Cauon: Do not try to remove the jammed sabre saw blade 6 by
swinging it in the kerf with the electric tool switched on, for it may cause breakdown of the saw blade 6 and injury.
• Upon compleon of work, switch o the electric tool, wait unl the sabre saw blade 6 stops completely and only then put
the tool aside.
When sawing specic materials, such as metal, excessive overheang of the saw blade 6 is possible, and it is
recommended to use coolants or lubricants, applying them directly on the place where the blade touches the
blank.
Saw cung on curved trajectory
When narrow sabre saw blades 6 are used, saw cung on the curved trajectories is possible.
Dipped sawing (refer to g. 3)
Dipped sawing can be done only on so materials, such as wood, gypsum board etc.
This method allows making a kerf not from the edge of the blank and without preliminary drilling, sabre saw blade 6 cuts the
blank through. Cauon: use only short sabre saw blades 6 for this method of operaon.
• Press support plate 1 and sabre saw blade 6 against the blank as shown on the gure 3.1. Switch the electric tool on. Liing
the back of the electric tool gently, dip the sabre saw blade 6 in the blank slowly.
• Aer the sabre saw blade 6 cut the blank through, set the tool to the normal operaon mode and connue sawing along
the marked line.
Sawing ush with the wall surface (see to g. 4)
• Flexible bimetallic sabre saw blades 6 allow cung o the protruding elements of the structures (brackets, ngs, pipes)
ush with the wall surface.
• Press the end of the sabre saw blade 6 against the wall (the blade 6 should ghtly adjoin the surface if the wall in the place
of cung, refer to g. 4) and cut o the protruding part of the structure. When sawing, apply lateral pressure on the electric
tool with a constant eort, this helps to prevent jamming of the sabre saw 6.

Cauon: make sure that the sabre saw blade 6 is always longer than the diameter of the processed item, other-
wise there is a possibility of kickback and a risk the saw blade 6 to be broken.
Power tool maintenance / prevenve measures
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it must be disconnected from the mains.
Cleaning the power tool
An indispensable condion for a safe long-term exploitaon of the power tool is to keep it clean. During the long treatment of
metal, current-conducng dust can be accumulated inside the power tool.
Regularly ush the power tool with compressed air thought the venlaon slots 8.
Transportaon
• Categorically not to drop any mechanical impact on the packaging during transport.
• When unloading / loading is not allowed to use any kind of technology that works on the principle of clamping packaging.
Disposal
The machine, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling. Do not dispose power tools
into household waste!
Only for EC countries:
According the European Guideline 2012/19/UE for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and its implemen-
taon into naonal right, power tools that are no longer usable must be collected separately and disposed of in
an environmentally correct manner.

Διαβάστε προσεκτικά τις οδηγίες του εγχειριδίου. Εξοικειωθείτε με την λειτουργία του εργαλείου και με τις
οδηγίες που ακολουθούν. Η αδυναμία συμμόρφωσης σε αυτές μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε ηλεκτροπληξία, φωτιά

Ασφάλεια χρήσης ηλεκτρικού ρεύματος
• Τα ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία θα πρέπει να ταιριάζουν με την πρίζα. Μην τροποποιήσετε ποτέ το βύσμα. Μη χρησιμοποιείτε

• Αποφύγετε την επαφή με γειωμένα αντικείμενα, όπως σωλήνες ψυγεία κ.α.. Υπάρχει αυξημένος κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας
εάν το σώμα σας είναι γειωμένο.
• Μην εκθέτετε το εργαλείο στην βροχή ή σε υγρές καταστάσεις. Η εισαγωγή νερού σε ένα ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο θα αυξήσει
τον κίνδυνο ηλεκτροπληξίας.
• Μη χρησιμοποιήσετε το καλώδιο για να μεταφέρετε το εργαλείο ή για να το βγάλετε από την πρίζα. Κρατήστε το καλώδιο

Προσωπική ασφάλεια κατά την χρήση του εργαλείου
• Μείνετε σε επαγρύπνηση και προσέξτε τις κινήσεις σας κατά την χρήση του εργαλείου. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε το
συγκεκριμένο εργαλείο όταν είσαστε κουρασμένοι ή βρίσκεστε υπό την επήρεια ναρκωτικών, αλκοόλ, φαρμακευτικής
αγωγής και άλλων ουσιών. Μια στιγμή μπορεί να φέρει την καταστροφή και να έχει σαν αποτέλεσμα τον σοβαρότατο
τραυματισμό σας.
• Χρησιμοποιείτε όλα τα μέσα προσωπικής προστασίας. Χρησιμοποιείτε πάντα γυαλιά ασφαλείας ή οποιοδήποτε άλλο
τρόπο προστασίας. Η χρήση μάσκας προστασίας, αντιολισθητικών παπουτσιών, κράνους ασφαλείας και προστατευτικών
ακοής θα μειώσει κατά πολύ την πιθανότητα ατυχήματος.
• Αποτρέψετε την πιθανότητα μη εσκεμμένης έναρξης λειτουργίας. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι ο διακόπτης είναι στην θέση off πριν
συνδέσετε το εργαλείο σας στην παροχή του ρεύματος. Μην έχετε το δάκτυλο σας στον διακόπτη λειτουργίας άσκοπα.
• Μην τεντώνεστε για να φτάσετε σε κάποια μακρινή επιφάνεια. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι έχετε πάντα καλή ισορροπία και ότι είστε
πάντα με τα δυο ποδιά στο πάτωμα.
• Ντυθείτε κατάλληλα. Μην φοράτε χαλαρά ρούχα η κοσμήματα. Διατηρήστε τα μαλλιά, τα ρούχα σας και τα γάντια σας
μακριά από κινούμενα μέρη.
• Αν το εργαλείο σας είναι εφοδιασμένο με απορροφητή σκόνης ή κάποιο σύστημα αναρρόφησης, βεβαιωθείτε ότι αυτά
είναι σωστά συνδεδεμένα και λειτουργούν σωστά.
• Χρησιμοποιήστε μόνο μέσα προσωπικής προστασίας που είναι εγκεκριμένα για την εργασία που θέλετε να
πραγματοποιήσετε. Τα γυαλιά προστασίας πρέπει να είναι κλάσης ANSI και η μάσκα κλάσης ΝΙΟSH.
