Power tool use and care
• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your applicaon. The correct power tool will do the job beer
and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and o. Any power tool that can not be controlled with the switch
is dangerous and must be repaired.
• Disconnect the plug from the power source and/ or the baery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such prevenve safe ty measures reduce the risk of starng the power tool
accidentally.
• Store idle power tools out of the reach of chil dren and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instruc-
ons to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Maintain power tools. Check for misalign ment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condion that
may aect the power tool’s operaon. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many ac cidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
• Keep cung tools sharp and clean. Prop erly maintained cung tools with sharp cung edges are less likely to bind and are
easier to control.
• Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instrucons, taking into account the working
condions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operaons dierent from those intended could result in a
hazardous situaon.
Service
Have your power tool serviced by a qualied re pair person using only idencal replacement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.
Safety guidelines during power tool operaon
• Fix the processed blank with special xing devices or clutches ghtly.
• Dust created during work may be harmful for health, ammable or explosive. Clean working place regularly and use person-
al protecve equipment.
• Working place should be kept clean. Mixing dust and various substances may be dangerous. Dust of non-ferrous metals can
easily ignite and explode.
• Do not process asbestos-containing materials. Asbestos is a carcinogenic substance.
• If current-carrying cable was damaged during work, don’t touch it and immediately pull out the pin plug from socket. Use of
power tool with damaged current-carrying cable may result in electrocuon.
• Sabre saw blade may injure hands seriously, so keep your hands away from saw cut. Don’t hold the processed blank from
below.
• First, turn the power tool on, wait unl sabre saw blade gathers speed, and only aer that touch blank with the blade. If the
blade gets stuck in the blank, power tool can be thrown away.
• Warning: during saw cut support plate must be adjacent to the processed blank. If the sabre saw blade get bent during the
work process, it may get broken, and the power tool may be thrown away.
• Aer nishing the work, disconnect the power tool from power supply, wait unl the sabre saw blade stops - aer that, the
tool won’t be thrown away, and it can be put aside.
• Use sabre saw blades with no damages, cracks, etc. Bent or blunt blades may get broken which would lead to increased
vibraon of the power tool, and may result in kickback.
• Moving sabre saw blade by inera, applying force to its side surface is strictly prohibited -sabre blade may be damaged or
the power tool may be thrown away.
• To detect locaon of hidden ulies, such as electric wiring or piping, use appropriate detector or obtain this informaon
from relevant organizaons. If hidden wiring get damaged by the sabre saw blade, it may result in re and electrocuon.
Damage of gas pipe can lead to explosion. Damage of water piping can cause material damage.
• Periodically check xing of the sabre saw blade
- it should always be xed ghtly in the holder.
• If the used sabre saw blade is not intended for cung metals, remove any metal objects (nails, screws, hinges, etc.) before
work.
• Be sure that the power tool motor doesn’t stop under load.
• During operaon watch the posion of the current-carrying cable (it should always be behind the power tool). Avoid coiling
it around your legs or arms.
• To avoid spontaneous acvaon of the power tool in case of unexpected power supply break, immediately turn the switch
in the OFF posion.
• Aer deacvaon of the power tool, the sabre saw blade keeps moving by inera for some me, so put the tool aside only
