WIRED REMOTE CONTROLLER INSTALLATION MANUAL
1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Read the safety precautions carefully before installing the unit.
• Its important safety information.
• Once test operation has been successfully completed, this manual must be
left with the user.
• Meaning of marks:
WARNING
Failure to observe a warning may result in serious injury.
CAUTION
Means improper handling may lead to personal injury or property
loss.
WARNING
Ensure only trained and qualified personnel install or repair this controller.
Failure to follow the instructions set out in this manual, may result in injury
or equipment damage.
CAUTION
The correct cable must be used for this controller.
All wiring must be completed in accordance with the national
wiring regulations.
The controller must be installed in a suitable location.
2. OTHER PRECAUTIONS
Installation Location
Do not install the controller in direct sunlight, near heat sources,
where steam is present or any other location which may affect the
controller. Failure to follow this instruction may result in product
failure.
Preparation before installation
1. Ensure the following fittings are supplied within the package
contents. If any parts are missing, contact your service agent to
obtain a new one.

Installation of wire controller
1. Please refer to Indoor Unit Installation Manual for connective wiring
between the Wired Remote Controller and Indoor Unit.
2. The wiring to the controller is low voltage and must never be
connected to a 230v mains electrical supply.
3. The shielded layer of the shielded cable must be grounded to avoid
communication errors.
4. Any connections to the communication cable must be done
correctly to a void communication errors.
5. After finishing connection, do not use Megger to have the insulation
check to the signal wire.

CAUTION
1. Connect two terminlas of embedded 4-core shielding wire
with the switching wires of wired remote cotnroller and
signal receiving board. Make sure the sequenc of 4 terminals
(A/B/C/D) should correspond to the wire sequence of signal
switching wires (A/B/C/D). (Refer to Fig. 3)
2. Ensure there are no breaks in the cable. Failure to do so may
result in errors.
3. The tightening torque range of screw is :0.8~1.2N • m
(8~12kgf • cm).

CAUTION
1. To detach the controller, insert a flat head screwdriver into the allocated
slots at the bottom of the controller to release the clips. (Fig.5)
2. Use three GB950-86 M4X20 screws to directly install the back wall
mounting bracket to. (Fig.6)
3. Use two M4X25 GB823-88screws to install the back cover on the
86electrician box, and use one GB950-86 M4X20 screws for fixing on the
wall. (Fig.7.1)
4. Tighten the screws as required to ensure the controller face plate is flush
with the mounting bracket/wall. (Fig.7.2)
5. Use cross head screws to fix the wire controller bottom cover in the electric
control box through the screw bar. Make sure the wire controller bottom
cover is on the same level after installation, and then install the wire
controller back to the bottom cover.
6. Over tightening the screw will lead to deformation of back cover.

CAUTION
Always leave enough wire slack for maintenance of the wired controller.

Fix the controller back into the wall bracket being careful not to trap the communication cable. (Fig.11)
Ensure the wall plate bracket and controller are securely fixed in place. (Fig. 12)

4. WIRED REMOTE CONTROLLER PARAMETER SETTINGS
1. Change the related functions of the controller through adjusting the parameters, refer to table 1.
2. The wired controller parameter includes two codes “XY”, the first code “X” means function class, the second code “Y” means detailed configuration of this function.
3. Setting method:
1Simultaneously press and hold “Mode” and “Fan” buttons of the wired controller for 5 seconds to enter the parameter settings;
2The value of this first code “X” is “0”, press the temperature setting button and to adjust the second code value;
3After setting the second code value, press button to switch the first code to the next value;
4When the first code value is “6”, press button again to exit the parameters setting.
4. Theses parameters have been factory set and may not need to be adjusted.
