Initial
pairing
• Ensure
the
mobile phone
is
on and
8/uetooth®
is
enabled. Slide
the
power
switch
to
the
On (green) position. (1)
The
8/uetooth
indicator (2) slowly flashes blue
to
indicate
the
headset
is
discoverable.
• Locate
the
8/uetooth
device list
on
the
mobile
phone
and select
Bose
BT2.
•
If
prompted
for
a
passkey,
enter
0000.
• The
8/uetooth
indicator flashes,
then
turns solid blue
to
indicate a successful
connection.

Troubleshooting
The headset has
short
talk
time.
Refer
to
Charging along
with
the
Recognizing
the
lights
and
Low
battery
audio
tone
sections
of
this document.
The
mobile
phone
and
the
headset
do
not
pair.
• Turn
the
headset
off,
then
on again.
• Turn
the
phone
power
off,
then
on again.
• Make sure
both
devices are on and
8/uetooth
connectivity
is
enabled on
the
phone.
•
Press
Call
for
at
least 5 seconds
to
make
the
headset discoverable,
then
attempt
to
pair again
(see
Initial
Pairing).
The mobile
phone
and
the
headset
do
not
connect.
• Enable
Bluetooth
connectivity on
the
phone.
• Check
the
Bluetooth
device list on
your
phone
to
be sure
Bose
BT2
is
selected.
• Simultaneously
hold
Call and
Volume-
for
5 seconds
to
reset
the
headset's
memory.
• Turn

headset
off,
then
on again.

the
phone
power
off,
then
on again.
• Make sure
both
devices are on and
Bluetooth
connectivity

phone.

to
make

headset discoverable,

attempt
to
pair again
(see
Initial Pairing).
No
audio
or
Poor
audio
quality
from
a streaming
audio
source/application.
• Make sure
the
device supports A2DP
audio
streaming.
• Make sure
the
streaming
audio
source
is
on
and playing. (The headset's
8/uetooth
indicator
will
glow
purple.)
• Make sure
the
device's
8/uetooth
volume
is
turned
up
and
not
muted.
• Move
the
device closer
to
the
headset.
• Move
the
device and headset away
from
any device
that
could cause interference,
such
as
another
8/uetooth
enabled device, cordless phones, a microwave oven,
or
a wireless
computer
network
router.
• Reduce
the
number
of
Bluetooth
applications
that
are
running
on
your
device
to
improve
audio
quality. Disabling Wi-Fi
functionality
on
the
device may also
improve
audio
quality.
