Headset Installation
Remove all 4 screws (2 on each side) on pivot-
ing arms that sides of ear cups are attached to.

Place headset over approximate area where
it would go over the helmet (be aware of left/
right of headset, as well as helmet). (gure 2)
Secure headband straps over headband of
headset. (gure 3)

Installation of headset into cloth/leather helmet
Tools Required
Small Phillips Head Screwdriver

Insert ear cup entirely through bottom portion
of helmet’s ear opening (take precaution as to
not pull/stretch the wire exiting the ear cup).

Starting with one side, gently pull pivoting arms
apart to release ear cups. (gure 4)
Insert threaded silver stand-off (on the same
side of the ear cup that the cord exits)into the
hole that is on the strap covering the helmet’s
ear hole. (gure 6)

Bring he lower part of the helmet’s ear-hole
opening under the ear cup so that the seam is
sitting between the plastic and foam portion.

Locate the silver stand-off on the other side of
the ear-cup.Verify it is placed above the portion
of the strap that supports that side of the ear-
cup. (gure 8)
Gently but rmly pull the opening up and over
the top of the ear-cup so that the seam of the
opening is sealed around the entire circumfer-
ence of the ear-cup (between the plastic portion
and the foam ear seal). (gure 9)
Once the ear cup is secure, verify that no por-
tion of the strap is covering the microphone port
in the center of the ear cup.
Repeat same process on opposing ear cup.

Reinstall screws. (gure 12)
