Important
• Plug your appliance into an alternating current (~) outlet only and
make sure that your household voltage corresponds to the
voltage marked on your appliance.
• This appliance must never be used near water (e.g. a
filled wash basin, bathtub or shower). Do not allow the
appliance to become wet.
• Always unplug after use. Even when switched off, the appliance
presents a hazard when near water.
• For additional protection, it is advisable to install a residual
current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA in the electrical circuit of your bathroom. Ask
your installer for advice.
• This appliance is not intended for use by children or persons
with reduced physical or mental capabilities, unless they are
given supervision by a person responsible for their safety. The
appliance should be kept out of reach of children in order to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not wrap the mains cord around the appliance. Regularly
check the mains cord for wear or damage. The mains cord of the
appliance may only be replaced by an authorized Braun Service
Centre. Unqualified repair work can lead to extreme hazards for
the user.
The appliance is perfectly suited for styling towel-dried or damp
hair. For pre-drying your hair, you may use the appliance without
attachments.
IONTEC
IONTEC is a technology which is specifically designed to protect
the health of your hair. The green ion jet (3) releases millions of
satin ions effectively onto your hair. These attract moisture particles
from the air during styling, quickly restoring the moisture balance of
your hair that usually gets lost during styling with heat.

Removing/assembling attachments
• To remove the attachment, turn it so that its arrow
marking aligns with the line marking on the motor part.
• To assemble an attachment, align the arrow on the
attachment with the line marking on the motor part and
turn until the arrows match and the attachment is locked.
Using the styling attachments
• The round brush (4) can be used styling curls and waves, but
also for straightening and creating volume and root lift.
• The comb attachment (5) is perfectly suited for untangling,
combing, straightening your hair. You may also use it to create
root lift or to style your fringe.
Cold shot
To fix a style with cold air, keep the cold shot button (2) pressed.
Cleaning
After use, unplug the appliance. You may clean the brush and
comb attachments in warm soapy water. Dry the attachments
before reattaching them.
The motor part should only be cleaned with a dry cloth.

waste at the end of its useful life. Disposal can take place at
a Braun Service Centre or at appropriate collection points
provided in your country.
