Charge your Devices
1. Place one iPad in each slot of the PowerSync+ Cart, and attach the included
Lightning cables.
2. Unwind the power cord for the PowerSync+ Cart and plug it into a power outlet.
3. Turn the PowerSync+ Cart ON.
Your iPad and iPad mini devices will begin charging.
Charge your Mac
To use the courtesy power for your Mac:
1. Turn the cart power switch to OFF.
2. Plug the PowerSync+ Cart into an available power outlet.
3. Remove the “duck head” portion of your Mac power adapter.
4. Plug the gure eight end of the provided whip in to the power adapter.
5. Turn the PowerSync+ Cart ON.

Congure your Devices
To congure multiple iPad devices, we recommend using Apple Congurator (available
free on the Mac App Store). Apple Congurator works with apps from the App Store,
and allows you to install those apps, along with settings specic for your organization,
to multiple devices simultaneously.
1. Connect your devices to the PowerSync+ Cart.
2. Connect your PowerSync+ Cart to your Mac using the included
USB cable.
3. Launch Apple Congurator.
4. In Apple Congurator, enter your settings, congure your proles,
and import your apps.
5. Click “Prepare”.

Status LEDs
The PowerSync+ Cart features LED status indicators above each slot to let you
know when your devices are ready:
LED Description
O Device is not connected.
Amber Device is charging.
OK to disconnect.
Green Device is fully charged.
OK to disconnect.
Flashing Amber Device is charging and connected
to Apple Congurator.
Flashing Green Device is fully charged and connected
to Apple Congurator.

View Charge Status Remotely
This PowerSync+ Cart allows you to remotely view the status of the iOS devices
connected to your cart. With the PowerSync+™app, you can:
• View which connected devices are charging and fully charged
• View summary information about each of your PowerSync+ enabled
carts and stations
• Receive notications when devices are fully charged
• Receive notications when a device is disconnected during o-hours

Congure the Cart to Join a Wi-Fi Network
To congure the PowerSync+ Cart to join a Wi-Fi network, you’ll use your iOS device’s
Bluetooth connection to share it’s Wi-Fi network information with the cart.
1. Make sure your iOS device is connected to the Wi-Fi network you want to share with
your cart.
2. Turn the cart power switch to OFF, then back to ON.
3. After turning ON, if you haven’t already congured your cart, your cart will be
discoverable via Bluetooth for one minute.
4. On your iOS device, open the Settings app, and navigate to Bluetooth.
5. Choose to pair with “PowerSync+”.
6. When prompted to “Share Wi-Fi Settings”, tap the “Allow” button.
7. Your cart will join the Wi-Fi network. Use the PowerSync+ app to link your cart to your
free PowerSync+ account and complete the setup.

Link your Cart to the PowerSync+
Remote Status App
Now that your cart is connected to your Wi-Fi network, link your cart to the
PowerSync+ app:
1. Download the PowerSync+ remote status app by visiting the App Store, or browsing
to appstore.com/powersync on your iOS device.
2. Launch the PowerSync+ app.
3. Tap “Enroll” to sign up for your free PowerSync+ account, or sign in if you have
an existing account.
4. Tap “Add” in the top left corner.
5. Tap “Link” in the top right corner.
Once the cart is successfully linked, it can take a few minutes to appear in the list.

Important Information
Electrical The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily
accessible. Avoid sparks. Avoid arcing. Always turn OFF the power to the unit before
plugging IN or OUT! Be sure each device is turned OFF before plugging into the cart.
For safety purposes, make sure all electrical components do not exceed the maximum
load rating of 5 A. Risk of electrical shock. Do not plug the power cord into another
extension cord or relocatable power tap. The Power Module inside the cart is only for
charging and syncing Apple iOS devices. Do not unplug this product from the outlet
when your hands are wet. Do not plug the unit in if the switch, receptacle(s) or power
cord has been damaged. Contact Bretford® before attempting to make any type of
electrical repair or parts replacement.
Caution Ventilation is critical for PowerSync+ products to operate correctly. Do not
block the ventilation holes on the unit. Proper air ow is required for safe operation of
equipment. Arranging devices in the cart should be such that a hazardous condition
is not achieved due to uneven mechanical loading. Install and operate the cart in an
environment compatible with the maximum ambient temperature of 25° C (77° F).
This cart is not designed to be operated by a child. Adult operation and supervision
is recommended at all times. Do not place a TV or monitor on top of cart. The total
weight of accessories on top of the cart should be less than 25 lbs (11.3kg). This cart
it is not designed for outdoor use. Liquids should not be stored in, set on, or placed
inside this unit.

Product Warranty
Bretford Manufacturing, Inc.® (“Bretford”) designs and manufactures its products
to provide dependable operation. Therefore, Bretford warrants that all products it
manufactures are at date of shipment — free from defects in material or workmanship.
Any product which under normal use fails to function within the time periods specied
below, and found defective in material or workmanship by Bretford’s inspection, will,
at the option of Bretford be either repaired or replaced with the same or functionally
equivalent product, without charge to you, the end customer.
This warranty is inapplicable where, in the judgement of Bretford, the defect is
attributable to abnormal wear, misapplication, abuse, accident, misuse, modication
or damage after shipment from the Bretford facility, including damage caused by your
failure to properly maintain the item.
to the extent permitted by applicable law:(a) bretford is not liable for any
direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use
or service of the product; (b) the warranty and remedies described above are
exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. to the extent

Freight And Delivery Damage
Damaged, lost, or shorted shipments are the responsibility of the motor carrier. Please
inspect all shipments promptly and report damage to the delivery carrier immediately.
Carriers require such reports within 15 days of delivery. Losses due to the failure to timely
report damage or loss is your responsibility.
Product leaving an Apple Inc. warehouse en route to the end customer is not the
responsibility of Bretford. Apple shall assume full responsibility for ling all such claims.
Making Warranty Claims
Warranty claims should be processed by the end customer contacting the Bretford
Customer Support Team. Prior to contacting Bretford, please have ready the model
number, serial number, and date of manufacture of the unit you are making the claim on.
Model number, serial number, and date of manufacture can all be found on the Bretford

Rechargez vos appareils
