Power connection
Fully unwind the power supply cord before use. Plug supply plug in
and turn power on at wall socket. WARNING! This appliance must
be connected to a 230-240 volt AC 50 Hz 3 pin power outlet socket
supply. Do not overload the supply socket, 10 amps (2300-2400
watts) is the maximum allowed on any one-socket outlet.
Appliances such as refrigeration, computers or other critical
appliances should not be used on circuits with other appliances
connected; they should have dedicated supply circuits to lesson the
risk of power loss to any critical appliance should failure occur.
If using an extension cord, ensure that it is suitably rated for the
load of this appliance.
WARNING! If in doubt with any power issue consult a suitable
person.
Control and Safety
This appliance is fitted with the following control and safety
equipment.
Tip over safety cut out.
Dual heat control - Low (500 watts) High (1000 watts)
Operation
To operate simply select the desired heat setting by pressing the
selector button inwards. The top button allows top element and 500
watts of heating. The bottom button allows only the bottom
element. Both pressed to the “ON” setting allows full heat. To
switch “OFF” simply press the buttons again to return to off position
WARNING! Disconnect from the power supply when not in use.
WARNING! Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or
any other device that switches the device on automatically, since a
risk of fire exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
NOTE: The first time you use your appliance; there may be a small
amount of smoke and odour. This is normal. It is due to the heating
of a protective coating, placed on the heating elements, to protect
the heating elements during shipping.

CLEANING AND CARING________________________
Disconnect fully from the power supply.
Always allow your appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
WARNING! Never immerse your appliance in water or other liquids.
When cooled completely wipe the exterior of the appliance with a
warm soft damp cloth. Dry with a dry towel.
Do not use harsh abrasives as they may damage any plastic, non-
stick surface or the exterior finish.
Store your appliance in its original box or in a dry cupboard. Keep
this manual with the appliance for future reference.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should

Carefully read these instructions before using your appliance.
