1.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The LBC-H-T-LPB-Lite can convert a single CAT-5e/6/7 input and
2-way IR control to a single CAT-5e/6/7 output and includes a
simultaneousHDMIbypassoutput.Itsupports resolutionsupto1080p
FullHD,4K×2K timing,3D and multi-channeldigitalaudioformats (such
as LPCM 7.1CH, DolbyTrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD).The
HDMI output can be connected to an HDMI display or cascaded to
another splitter. The CAT-5e/6/7 output can be connected to a
CAT-5e/6/7 toHDMIReceivertoextendthe operatingdistanceup to60
meters.

2.0 OPERATION CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
2.1 Front Panel
1. HDMI OUT: Connect to HDMI display forinstantimage display
or cascade with another family type transmitter. The unit will
detectCAT-5e/6/7output’sEDID whenitobtainsa 4Kx2KEDID
and sends out the signal accordingly to other output ports. If
CAT-5e/6/7 outputiswithouta 4Kx2K’sEDIDthe unitwilldetect
all output’s EDID and send out the signal that all outputs can
accept.
This device obtains the last memory function therefore, the
device will use the last CAT-5e/6/7 output port’s EDID when
CAT-5e/6/7 output port is not connected after power cycling.
2. HDMI IN: Connect with source equipment such as DVD/Blu
ray or PS3 player.
3. RS-232 IN: Connect to aPC/LaptoporRS-232enableddevice
(with supplied 3.5mm Phone Jack to D-Sub 9-Pin female
adaptor) to transmit of RS-232 commands.

2.2 Rear Panel
1. POWER LED: Once the power supply is connected the LED
willilluminate.
2. DC 24V: Plug the 24V DC power supply into the unit and
connect the adaptor to an AC outlet.
3. IR 1 BLASTER: Connect with the supplied IR Blaster to blast
outthe IR signal received from the Receiver side. Place the IR
Blasterindirectline-of-sightofthe equipment to be controlled.
4. IR 2 EXTENDER: Connect with the supplied IR Extender to
receiveIRsignal fromTransmitterside andblastout atReceiver
side. Ensure that remote controller being used is within the
direct line-of-sight of the IR Extender.
5. USB: This slot is reserved for firmware update only.
6 . LINK LED: ThisLEDwillilluminatewhenboththeinputsource
and output display signals are connected through CAT cable.
When it blinks regularly it states the display is NOT sending
signalstoReceiverbut theTransmitterandReceiverarelinked
and if it blink irregularly it states an error has occurred.
7. CAT-5e/6/7 OUT: Connect this port to CAT5e/6/7 to HDMI
ReceiverwithCAT-5e/6/7 cable to extend thesignalupto60m.

Thereisnooperatormaintenanceother then keeping the units
clean. However, observe the following light indicators to make
sure that the unit is working properly:

7.0 LIMITED WARRANTY
Broadata Communications, Inc. (BCI) warrants, for a period of one
yearfromdateof shipment, eachproductsoldshall be freefromdefects
in material and workmanship. BCI will correct, either by repair, or at
BCI’s election, by replacement, any said products that in our sole
discretion prove to be defective and are returned to the manufacturing
location within 30 days after such defect is ascertained. All warranties
are limited to defects arising under normal use and do not include
malfunctionsorfailureresultingfrommisuse,abuse,neglect,alterations,
electrical power problems, usage not in accordance with product
instructions, improper installation, or damage determined by BCI to
havebeencausedbytheBuyer or repairmadebyathirdparty. Limited
warrantiesgrantedonproductsareto the initial customer end-user and
