Initial Setup
1. Do not install the nozzles until the very end of the initial setup listed below.
2. Place Deposit Tank (waste tank) on floor behind machine. Attached the hose provided.
Trim the hose so it has no loops or kinks in the hose.
3. Fill the Bottle Distilled Water tank with 1 gallon of distilled water (This is located on the
right hand side of the unit behind the removable door)
4. Put two parts distilled water and one part pretreat in the Precoating tank and swirl
around to fully mix for approximately 1 minute. You may wish to take a paper towel and
cover the breather hole at the back of the tank when doing this to minimize any liquid
coming out of the tank.
5. On the LCD Panel turn on all 4 nozzle zones. Attach the black hose (precoating hose) to
the Distilled Water tank. Press and hold the Precoating button until the distilled water fills
all 4 lines. This needs to be done to remove any air bubbles or containments from the
lines.
6. To load the pretreat reconnect the black line to the precoating tank and pressing the pre-
coating button until the line is full of white solution. This normally will take about 30
seconds for the line to become filled.
7. Insert nozzles into the yellow quick exchange caps placing the rubber washer over the
nozzle. Connect each of the quick exchange/rubber washer/nozzle assemblies onto the
bottom of the black spray valves. They get secured by turning 90 degrees to lock into
place.
Calibration
1. Ensure that the unit is setup in inches by going to maintenance and touching the
American flag if the unit is not currently setup in this manner.
2. Setup conditions as follows. These are a starting points and adjustments may be
necessary. Adjust the pressure and/or volume until you achieve correct gram value.

3. Weigh a dry shirt and zero it out on a gram scale (press the Tare button), then spray with
each of the above conditions and reweigh the shirt. The goal is to get following coverage
on each shirt

4. After the desired grams are achieved using the chart as a starting point move forward
and change all of the presets again adjusting only the beginning and length. Normally
this would be for example begin 8 and length of 16. This would give full coverage of the
spray area.
Items customer needs to purchase separately
1. 3 gallons distilled water (important - do not use filtered water, must be distilled)
2. Can of silicon spray (LB5). This is a controlled burst type spray so it will no spray
excessive amounts.
3. Ultrasonic jewelry cleaner
4. concentrated jewelry cleaning fluid (ex: Blitz Gem & Jewelry Cleaner)
5. Gram scale
Evening Maintenance
1. Press Water button for 6 seconds to flush nozzles out with distilled water
2. Remove nozzles and follow the instructions to clean the nozzles using a jewelry cleaning
solution and a sonic cleaner.
3. Wipe down inside of machine with paper towels to remove any buildup of pretreat.
4. Power off the machine and gently push the spray carriage back to access the rails, then
clean the rails using a micro fiber swab and apply spray silicon lubricant on each rail that
the carriage travels along being sure to clean the tracks inside of it as well. Once
complete move the spray carriage back to its original position.
Morning Maintenance
1. Agitate the tank of precoating fluid for approximately one minute.
2. Check the waste tank and empty as needed.
3. Check the volume of distilled water and the precoating tank and refill as needed.
4. Reassemble the nozzles and install them in machine.
5. Press Precoating button until the lines turn white and the precoating has reached the
nozzles.
Maintenance Every 2-4 Weeks
1. Switch the pretreat line to the water tank and then press and hold the Precoating button
on the front panel until the lines are filled with distilled water. Once the line is flushed
reattach the black tube to the Precoating tank and attach the clear line to the Water tank.

Maintenance as needed
1. Remove nozzles and place in ultra-sonic cleaner with jewelry cleaning solution and
follow the instructions on the jewelry cleaning bottle.
2. If you notice that the spray pattern becomes weak then it is suggested to replace the
precoating tank filter (2 spares are included).
