Assemble solar circuit and test it outdoors in full
sunlight BEFORE attaching it to the bug body.

Select, cut and color your favorite bug body
along with the optional matching legs or wings
from the wings and legs template (found online).
Glue wings and/or legs to the body using the
black silhouette as your guide for placement.
HY30X60 Peel backing
from self-stick
motor.
You will need to
connect motor wires
to the silver
dot/square ; not
anything copper .
Position motor
wires as pictured.
Stick motor
to underside
of solar cell
where shown.
Use two small
pieces of
Maker Tape to
secure wires
in contact with
silver dot and
square as
shown.
Peel ONE SIDE of foam tape and
stick to the underside of the
solar cell.

Peel the remaining backing off of the foam tape
and press the entire solar circuit in place on TOP
on the bug body.
Choose 3 or 4 self-sticking rattle feet (googly
eyes), peel off the backing and place on the
underside of bug.
