abgebildet. Das Montageprinzip gilt für alle
Wandsteckdosen der 55er A-Serie: 5501A,
5503A, 5511A, 5523A.

Montageanleitung
Schritt 1 (Vorbereitungen)
Den Rahmen  mit dem Deckel 
abschrauben und den Geräteträger vom
Gehäuse abmontieren. Einen Ausschnitt
für die Steckdose, in der Größe des äußeren
Durchmessers des Gehäuses (nicht des
Rahmens), in die Wand schneiden/sägen.
Die Tiefe des Ausschnitts sollte dabei
so gewählt werden, dass der Abstand ‚t‘
zwischen Gehäuse und Wandoberfläche
4 mm beträgt, so dass der Rahmen
montiert nicht von der Wand absteht.
Assembly Instructions
Step 1 (Preparations)
Unscrew the framewith the lid and
remove the device carrier from the
housing . Cut/saw a cutout into the wall
for the wall socket with the size of the outer
diameter of the housing(not the frame).
The depth of the cutout should be chosen so
that the distance ‚t‘ between the housing ‚
and the wall surface is 4 mm so that the
frame when mounted does not protrude
from the wall.

Schritt 2
Anschließend Konstruktionskleber (K)
(z.B. „beko ALLCON 10“) auf den seitlichen
Flächen des Wandausschnitts verteilen.
Step 2
Then spread construction adhesive (K) (e.g.
„beko ALLCON 10“) on the side surfaces of
the wall cut-out.

Schritt 3
Danach die Leerohre einführen, das
Gehäuse in den Wandausschnitt einsetzen
und den Kleber trocknen lassen.
Step 3
Then insert the conduits, fit in the housing
into the wall cutout and allow the adhesive
to dry.

Schritt 4
Hieran die Kabel und die Steckdose
anschließen und den Geräteträger, sowie
den Rahmen  mit dem Deckel  wieder
anschrauben. Die Wandsteckdose ist nun
erfolgreich eingebaut.
Step 4
Connect the cable and the socket and screw
the device carrierand the frame with
the lid back on. The wall socket is now
successfully installed.

Um eine anhaltende Funktion der Wandsteckdose
zu gewährleisten sind folgende Hinweise zu
beachten:
• Anschluss, Reparatur oder Instandhaltung sind
von einer ausgebildeten Fachkraft durchzuführen.
Während des Einbaus und der Inbetriebnahme sind
Handschuhe zu tragen.
• Für die Montage der Wandsteckdose muss ein
fester Untergrund (z. B. Mauerwerk, Mörtel, etc.)
vorhanden sein.
• Die Anschlussleitung muss einen Querschnitt
entsprechend der Vorschrift des VDE aufweisen.
Zudem müssen flexible Leitungen verwendet
werden, damit die Schutzart gewährleistet werden
kann.
• Falls Kabelverschraubungen verwendet werden,
sollte diese für den entsprechenden Kabelquer-
schnitt geeignet sein und eine entsprechende
Schutzart aufweisen (für Außenbereich IP68).
• Pflegehinweis: Das Produkt ist für die Nasspflege
geeignet. Jedoch dürfen für die Reinigung keine
säurehaltigen, chloridhaltigen oder alkalische
Mittel verwendet werden.
• Für einen einwandfreien Betrieb sind die Dich-
tungen regelmäßig vom Schmutz zu befreien und
auf einen einwandfreien Zustand zu überprüfen.
• Die angegebene Schutzart kann nur im einwand-
freien, geschlossenen (mit eingelegter Dichtung)
und ungenutzten Zustand der Wandsteckdose
gewährleistet werden.
• Der Deckel muss sich immer im geschlossenen
Zustand befinden. Eine Ausnahme betrifft die Zeit,
in der der Stecker ein- oder ausgesteckt wird.
Um den Deckel auch bei Gebrauch zu schließen,
kann die untere Verdeckleiste entnommen und im
inneren des Gehäuse abgelegt werden. So kann
das Kabel aus dem Gehäuse geführt werden.
• Trotz Fertigungsprüfung kann es im Herstellungs-
prozess zu scharfen Kanten oder Ecken an
Gehäuse, Deckel oder anderen Bauteilen kommen.
• Bei mechanischen Schäden oder anderen Mängeln
(technisch/elektrisch) darf das Produkt nicht in
Betrieb genommen werden.
• Das Produkt ist unter Beachtung der nationalen
Vorschriften zu entsorgen.

In order to ensure a lasting function of the
wall socket, the following instructions must be
observed:
• Connection, repair or maintenance must be carried
out by a trained specialist. During installation and
commissioning gloves must be worn.
• For the installation of the wall socket, a solid
surface (e.g. masonry, mortar, etc.) must be present.
• The connecting cable must have a cross-section
in accordance with the VDE regulation. In addition,
flexible cables must be used so that the degree of
protection can be guaranteed.
• If cable glands are used, they should be suitable for
the corresponding cable cross-section and have an
appropriate degree of protection (for outdoor IP68).
• Care instructions: The product is suitable for wet
care. No acid-, chloride-containing or alkaline
products may be used for cleaning.
• To ensure faultless operation, the seals must be
regularly cleaned of dirt and checked for perfect
condition.
• The specified degree of protection can only be
guaranteed in the perfect, closed (with inserted
seal) and unused condition of the wall socket.
• The lid must always be closed. An exception
concerns the time in which the plug is plugged in or
unplugged. In order to close the lid during use, the
lower cover strip can be removed and placed inside
the housing. In this way the cable can be led out of
the housing.
• Despite manufacturing inspection, sharp edges or
corners on housings, lids, or other components may
occur during the manufacturing process.
• In the case of mechanical damage or other defects
(technical/electrical), it is not allowed to put the
product into operation.
• The product is in compliance with the national
regulations to dispose.
