LiFePO4 cells along with an smart, outstanding battery management system (BMS) ensures this battery will
provide you with incredibly long-lasting power in a super lightweight package.
What is Lifepo4 Battery?
Lithium iron Phosphate or LiFePO4. batteries are one of the most durable and reliable energy sources on the
market and a drastic improvement over-lead acid in weight, capacity and shelf life.
Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries are the safest lithium chemistry, with the highest cycle life are compatible with
most standard chargers.
Connecting up your BSLBATT battery
When connecting to the BSLBATT using the nuts and washers provided. Please connect the Positive (+)
connection first before connecting the Negative (-) connection. Disconnections is the reverse process,
Negative (-) first, Positive (+) last.
Lithium Features & Benefits :
≥4000 cycles at 80% DOD, ≥2000 cycles at 100% DOD, up to 10 times longer cycle life than normal lead acid battery types.
At least 50% lighter weight than Lead acid types.
Compare standard batteries more shorter charging times, No charging memory and no need waiting too much long time to fully charge batteries!
Already build-in Battery Management System board which protect batteries over-discharge and over-charge, with continuous stable power use.
Can work excellent performance in a wide temperature range from -25℃～60℃.
No acid leakage problem, just install- plug- use and charge.

BMS (Battery management system):
BSLBATT Lithium batteries are all equipped with an internal or external Battery Management System, which protect
against the following potential damaging situations:
Charging Lithium Battery Informations:
To make sure your BSLBATT LiFePo4 batteries proving maximum use/service life, please follow below charge instructions.
**Strongly recommend use Lithium battery charger when charging LiFePo4 batteries!!!
A lead acid battery charger can be used if setting to a higher voltage by charging LiFePo4 batteries.
Make sure charger are connect in correct battery polarity with Positive + and Negative -.
Charger connectors and Lithium batteries should be clean and place in proper position & good connection.
Please note that all Lithium batteries do not have charging memories, compare lead acid batteries.
So if your LiFePo4 batteries not fully discharged, no need to charged when you use them everytime.
LiFePo4 batteries will not damaged when left in a partial state of charge.
You can charge your LiFePo4 batteries after each using or when discharged up to 70%-80%（20%-30% SOC）.
**When BMS disconnect your LiFePo4 batteries due to low voltage, can discharge your batteries at 100% DOD (Depth of discharge), then remove
the load and start charging your LiFePo4 batteries immediately.
Suggested storage capacity is at least ≤ 50% SOC to minimize capacity loss.

BSLBATT Lithium batteries can be safely charge from (0°C~45°C).
Also our batteries are build in BMS can protecting LiFePo4 batteries from Over-Temperature.
If BMS disconnects batteries due to high temperature, just wait till the temperature lower and BMS can reconnecting the LiFePo4 batteries before
using or charging.
Most lead-acid battery chargers can be used with LiFePO4 batteries as long as they are within the appropriate voltage guidelines.
AGM and Gel algorithms typically fall within the LiFePO4 voltage requirements. The voltage for flooded battery charging algorithms
are often higher than LiFePO4 requirements, which will result in the BMS disconnecting the battery at the end of the charge cycle
and possibly result in the charger displaying an error code. If this happens, we will highly recommend you replace a new lithium battery charger.
Even in our LiFePo4 batteries- BMS are protects batteries, using lead acid charger might not damage the batteries, but it will affects the voltage
and battery balance of LiFePO4 batteries .
All information specially charging datas are base on Lithium charger stated.
* Charge current must be reduced at temperatures ≥0°C. See details in Charge Temperature section.
** For optimum life, charge at recommended rate. Some models are specially designed to allow for higher current, please contact BSLBATT Team

Bluetooth Function:
How to storage Lithium battery?
BSLBATT battery has an extremely low rate of self-discharge but if you intend not to use the battery for an
extended period of time please fully charge it prior to storage. It is recommended to re-charge the BSLBATT
battery once every 6 months. NOTE - Allowing the battery to over discharge (+6 months since its last charge)
can lead to a shortened life.
**When storage in warehouse every 6 month, suggested charging batteries in 40%-60% SOC. (Check
charging instructions before charging batteries)
**Please noted customers when received BSLBATT Lithium batteries normally are not 100% fully capacity,
normally will keep in 35-60% SOC Capacity.

A BSLBATT battery is supplied with 3-5 years limited warranty from the date of purchase (please keep your
proof of purchase) or 2000 battery cycles, whichever comes first. Note a full battery cycle is determined by a
fully discharged BSLBATT (down to 10% of its gross capacity) and charged to 100%. The 3 year limited
warranty period assumes no more than one full cycle per 24hr period. In the event of a valid warranty claim
the manufacturer will, at its discretion, supply a new or re-conditioned BSLBATT battery dependent on how
many years have passed since the date of purchase or how many cycles the battery has undertaken.
Warranty Claims
1. Contact the original point of purchase for instructions.
2. The battery must only be returned in compliance with the transport and packaging regulations ruling
at the date of return. Failure to do this may result in the carrier refusing to ship the battery.

A few tips on how to get the best from your BSLBATT battery:
★Protect the battery from direct sunlight although it will work well in a wide temperature range (-25 to 60
degrees C).
★Avoid using BSLBATT in damp or wet conditions but if you do need to use it in these conditions consider using
and all-weather enclosure (not included in package).
★Observe the correct polarity otherwise permanent damage could be caused - the battery casing is marked
with + and -.
★Don't short circuit BSLBATT otherwise permanent damage could be caused.
★BSLBATT can be connected in Parallel.
★BSLBATT can be connected in Series.
Please note when connecting up multiple batteries you must first fully charge each battery and check
they don't have a voltage difference of more than 0.005V (5mV).
★Most Mains lead acid battery chargers will charge the BSLBATT but some smart chargers might only
charge up to 85%. If this is the case we recommend getting a new specific LiFePO4 battery charger (not
included in package). However you will not cause any damage to the battery if using your old charger. For
DC - DC charging please follow DC-DC charger's instructions of charging to lead acid battery if it has not
LiFePO4 battery chargemode.
★Keep BSLBATT battery is positioned with its terminals facing upward.
NOTE - Do not mix new BSLBATT batteries with already used batteries, whether in series or parallel.
Conditions
①Any warranty claim can only be validated by a proof of purchase.
②The warranty is invalid if the battery has been subject to misuse, abuse or physical damage.
③This BSLBATT battery must be of the correct size, design and capacity for the intended Application.
④The battery should be installed and operated at a temperature not exceeding the batteries design
limits as noted on the previous page and on the battery itself.
⑤The warranty shall be voided if the battery becomes unserviceable due to: fire, freezing, abuse, alteration,
modification or it suffers from an over discharged state.
⑥Installation of the battery must be performed by a responsible adult.

Disposal
Batteries contain valuable recyclable materials and are therefore marked with the crossed-out
garbage bin. This means that these batteries may not be disposed of with household waste.
Disposal of a used or damaged BSLBATT battery must be done at a certified recycling location.
There are many of these nationwide - please contact us for help if necessary.
