BVF REMINA installation and user manual

1. INTRODUCTION
The BVF REMINA radiant carbon heater is designed for quick comfort improvement and to maintain
constant ambient temperature. The heater is also suitable to improve heat comfort in covered
outdoor areas. The surface temperature of the radiant heater might reach 500 degrees Celsius.
The heater radiates visible light.

Remove the unit from it’s packaging and check to make sure the heater, power cord and plug is
in good condition before using. Any damage of the appliance might cause the risk of re, electric
shock or personal injury during operation.
Always use the mounting brackets provided with the heater for installation.
Dene the spot of installation.
Mount the brackets to the wall or ceiling as detailed in the description. Always choose screws and
frame xings appropriate to the wall / ceiling type. Set the radiation angle of the heater on the
brackets towards the comfort zone. Tighten the screws.
The power cord and the plug can be removed only by a qualied electrician. It might be necessary
to lengthen the power cord. Use only standardized connections and cables in line with the electric
safety regulations. Check the cross section of the power cable , maximum load and characteristics
of automatic fuses in accordance with the technical specication of the heater.
The BVF REMINA radiant heater can be operated with remote control as a standalone heater unit
with timer function, or using it in simple on-o mode. For remote controlling place 2 pcs of AAA
type battery to the remote control (not included). Turn on the unit with the red toggle switch. (--)
will appear on the screen. Turn on the heating with the on/o buttons of the remote control. You
might change between L1 and L2 power modes using the up/down buttons. Power mode L1
equals to 600W , mode L2 equals to 900W, L3 equals to 1200W ,and L4 equals to 1500W capacity.
Timer function is also available using the remote control with set values between 0 to 24. Setting
4 keeps running the heater 4 hours on and 20 hours o in a day.. The heater settings are also
available without remote control using the button on the heater, located next to the display.

WARNINGS
THESE INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE READ CAREFULLY AND RETAINED FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
We cannot be liable for any damages caused by failure to observe these instructions.
Unit may be a source of possible shock, NEVER attempt to service heater without disconnecting
its power source. Do not use the appliance in an inappropriate manner or operate it after an
unauthorized repair!
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ CAREFULLY - The infrared heater is designed for safe operation. Nevertheless, installation,
maintenance and operation of the heater can be dangerous. Observing the following procedures
will reduce the risk of re, electric shock, injury, and keep installation time to a minimum. Keep
these instructions for future use.
1. Remove the unit from it’s packaging and check to make sure it is in proper condition before
using. Operating the damaged product could be dangerous.
2. The appliance has an electric protection (IP) rating of 55.
3. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the heater’s rated specication.
4. Do not use ammable objects near or point the heater. Keep ammable materials at least
90cm away from the front of the heater.
5. Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
6. DO NOT COVER.
7. Operating temperature of the heater is ~500°C Do not touch any part of the heater while it is
turned on. Wait at least 30 minutes after appliance has been turned o.
8. The heater needs to be installed as per the installation instructions paying special attention to
the minimum clearances. The heater needs to be mounted on a rigid bracket or xing.
9. Check your local electric standards for connecting to network.
10. The heater must not be mounted immediately below or in front of a socket outlet.
11. In case of a heater fault or damaged supply lead, the appliance should be returned to the
point of purchase for repair.
STANDARD MOUNTING BRACKETS
The BVF REMINA panel heater comes with a pair of standard mounting brackets. These
adjustable brackets allow direct ceiling or wall mount, and come with preset angle options.
1. Place one of the barckets onto the back of the heater. Fix position with manual screw.
2. Mark the points of the xing points onto the ceiling or wall using the other parts of the
brackets.
3. You can x the brackets only with the proper screws to the wall/ceiling.
4. Set the position then x the brackets with the included screws.
