Sehr geehrter Kunde,
vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für eines unserer Qualitätsproduk-
te entschieden haben. Im Folgenden werden wir Ihnen die
Funktionen und die Handhabung unseres Gerätes erklären.
Bitte nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, lesen die Anleitung in Ruhe
durch und benutzen Sie das Gerät in der beschriebenen Form.
Beachten Sie alle enthalten Sicherheits- und Bedienungshin-
weise. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf und geben Sie diese
bei Weitergabe des Gerätes mit. Sollten Sie Fragen oder An-
regungen zu diesem Gerät haben, wenden Sie sich bitte an
Ihren Fachhändler oder an unser Service-Team

2. Produktbeschreibung
Dieser elektronische Insektenvernichter arbeitet ohne Che-
mie und verursacht keinerlei Umweltverschmutzung. Lästige
stechende Insekten (v. a. Mücken) und kleine Fliegen werden
durch ultraviolettes Licht angezogen. Auf dem Weg zur Licht-
quelle werden die Insekten durch Berührung der Elektroden,
die unter für den Menschen ungefährlicher Hochspannung
stehen, schnell und hygienisch vernichtet.
3. Hinweise zur Wirkungsweise
1. Es ist zu empfehlen, das Gerät 1,5 bis 3 Meter über dem
Boden aufzuhängen. Die UV-Lampe zieht Fluginsekten
an. Hängen Sie das Gerät nicht zu dicht neben andere
Lichtquellen. Der dunkelste Ort in dem zu schützenden
Raum ist im Allgemeinen der günstigste. Hängen Sie das
Gerät in einigem Abstand von Menschen und Nahrungs-
mitteln auf, um den Insekten die Chance zu nehmen, Ih-
nen zu nahe zu kommen. Schließen Sie bei Gebrauch des
Gerätes Fenster und Türen, wenn möglich.
2. Das Gerät nicht vor ein offenes Fenster oder eine offene
Tür hängen, die Insekten halten sich nicht im Zugluftbe-
reich auf.
3. Nehmen Sie das Gerät in der Abenddämmerung in ge-
schlossenen Räumen in Betrieb. Das Gerät sollte nach
Möglichkeit zunächst ohne Anwesenheit von Menschen
zum Einsatz kommen. Die Mücke orientiert sich nach Ge-
ruch, Licht oder Farbe. Um die Anziehungskraft des UV-
Lichtes zu maximieren, bitte die vor Mücken zu schützen-
den Räume verlassen.
Wir empfehlen, das Gerät 30 – 60 Minuten vor dem Schlafen
gehen einzuschalten. Sobald Sie zu Bett gehen, stellen oder
hängen Sie die Lampe eingeschaltet auf den Flur, um zu ver-
hindern, dass weitere Mücken in den Schlafraum gelangen.
4. Einschalten des Gerätes
Durch Einstecken des Gerätes in die Netzsteckdose Ihrer
Hausinstallation ist der Fluginsekten-Vernichter in Funktion.
5. Sicherheitshinweise
1. Nicht in der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren und
aufhängen.
2. Hängen Sie das Gerät nur an dem Aufhängering auf und
niemals am Kabel.
3. Nicht zur Verwendung in landwirtschaftlichen Gebäuden
wie Ställen, Scheunen usw. geeignet. Auch nicht geeignet
zur Verwendung in gewerblichen Betrieben wie Lebens-
mittelbetrieben, Metzgereien usw.
4. Nur zur Verwendung in Innenräumen geeignet.
5. Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Netzanschluss des Gerä-
tes die Netzanschlussleitung auf Beschädigungen.
Beschädigte Netzanschlussleitungen oder Lampen sind
unverzüglich durch eine Fachwerkstatt auszuwechseln,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
6. Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals, wenn es irgendwelche
Beschädigungen aufweist.
7. Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals zweckentfremdet.

8. Nicht zur Verwendung in Räumen mit leicht entflammba-
ren Flüssigkeiten, explosiven Gasen und Staub geeignet.
9. Fassen Sie niemals mit Gegenständen in das Gerät.
10. Führen Sie niemals selbst Reparaturen am Gerät durch.
11. Beachten Sie zur Reinigung und Pflege des Gerätes unbe-
dingt die Hinweise dieser Gebrauchsanweisung.
12. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
13. Das Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber so-
wie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensori-
schen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfah-
rung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt
oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unter-
wiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren
verstehen.
14. Reinigen Sie das Gerät, indem Sie gefangene Insekten
vierteljählrich, bzw. je nach Verwendung regelmäßig und
vor längerer Nichtinbetriebnahme durch Schütteln und
vorsichtiges Klopfen und mittels Verwendung der Reini-
gungsbürste entfernen (beachten Sie Details unter dem
Punkt Reinigung auf dieser Seite).
15. Reinigung und benutzerseitige Wartungsmaßnahmen
dürfen von Kindern nur unter Aufsicht durchgeführt wer-
den.
Achtung! Nicht zur Verwendung in Scheunen,
Ställen und ähnlichen Orten (Brandgefahr)!
Achtung! Das Gerät erzeugt im Betriebszustand
„Hochspannung“!
Hängen Sie das Gerät an dem am Gerät befindlichen Ring so
auf, dass es sich außerhalb des Handbereiches befindet. Ver-
wenden bzw. stellen oder hängen Sie das Gerät niemals im
Handbereich auf.
Wichtiger Warnhinweis: Bitte beachten Sie die länderspe-
zifischen Anwendungen von Insektenvernichtern. Aus Um-
weltschutzgründen ist in Deutschland der Betrieb im Freien
untersagt, da Nutzinsekten getötet werden könnten!
6. Reinigung
1. Den Netzstecker immer zuerst aus der Steckdose ziehen.
2. Mit Hilfe eines Bürstchens entfernen Sie monatlich die
toten Insekten vom Gitter und von der Lampe. Eventuell
können Sie dafür ein wenig Seifenlauge verwenden (die
meisten Haushaltsreiniger eignen sich hierfür).
3. Leeren Sie regelmäßig den demontierbaren Auffangbe-
hälter an der Unterseite des Apparates (drehbar).
4. Den Auffangbehälter vorsichtig abnehmen und die toten
Insekten entfernen. Nun den Auffangbehälter wieder an-
bringen.
7. Haltbarkeit
Die UV-Leuchtstoffröhre gibt kontinuierlich UV-Licht ab,
das für Menschen unsichtbar ist. Nach längerem Betrieb (ca.
6 – 12 Monate, je nach täglicher Einsatzdauer) verringert sich
der UV-Anteil im abgegebenen Licht, die Anziehungskraft auf
Insekten lässt nach und die UV-Röhre muss ausgewechselt
werden. Da die Verminderung des UV-Anteils optisch nicht
wahrgenommen werden kann, empfiehlt es sich, die Röhre
1 x jährlich auszuwechseln, um die optimale Anziehungskraft
zu erhalten. Defekte Leuchtmittel dürfen nur durch autori-
siertes Fachpersonal ersetzt werden.
8. Wartung
Einbau Ersatzleuchte 62283 für den UV-Fluginsektenvernich-
ter 62300.
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz.
• Entfernen Sie den Auffangbehälter an der Unterseite des
Gerätes durch leichtes Drehen.
• Entfernen Sie die Schrauben der Abdeckung zum Innenle-
ben und nehmen Sie die Abdeckung ab.
• Lösen Sie die zwei Schwarzen Drähte durch leichtes Zie-
hen von dem Leuchtmittel.
• Ziehen Sie nun das Leuchtmittel aus dem Gerät, dies geht
teilweise etwas schwer. Nehmen Sie ggf. eine Zange zur
Hilfe.
• Führen Sie das neue Leuchtmittel in die Halterung, ach-
ten Sie darauf, dass das Leuchtmittel vollständig in den
beiden Löcher am Ende der Halterung steckt. Drücken Sie
das Leuchtmittel fest in die Halterung, sodass nur noch
die beiden Spitzen oben raus ragen.
• Stecken Sie nun die beiden Drähte wieder auf diese Spit-
zen.
• Legen Sie die Abdeckung auf und befestigen diese mit
den Schrauben.
• Drehen Sie zuletzt den Auffangbehälter an der Unterseite
fest.
• Nun ist Ihr Gerät wieder einsatzbereit.

10. Allgemeine Hinweise
1. Elektrogeräte, Verpackungsmaterial usw. gehören nicht in
den Aktionsbereich von Kindern.
2. Verpackungs- und Verschleißmaterial (Folien, ausgedien-
te Produkte) umweltgerecht entsorgen.
3. Die Weitergabe des Produktes sollte mit der dazugehöri-
gen Gebrauchsanweisung erfolgen.
4. Änderungen des Designs und der technischen Daten ohne
Vorankündigung bleiben im Sinne ständiger Produktver-
besserungen vorbehalten.
11. Sicherheitshinweise
Wichtig: Es besteht kein Gewährleistungsanspruch bei Schä-
den, die durch Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanleitung ent-
stehen. Für daraus resultierende Folgeschäden übernimmt
Gardigo keine Haftung.
• Gerät nur mit der dafür vorgesehenen Spannung betrei-
ben.
• Nur geprüfte Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
• Bei Reparaturen sollten nur Original-Ersatzteile verwen-
det werden, um Schäden zu vermeiden.
• Eine Reparatur oder andere Arbeiten, wie z. B. Auswech-
seln einer Sicherung etc. dürfen nur vom Fachmann
durchgeführt werden.
• Das Gerät niemals an der Zuleitung tragen oder aufhän-
gen.
• Das Kabel vor Öl, Hitze oder scharfen Gegenständen
schützen.
• Stecker und Steckdosen müssen immer trocken und über
dem Boden angebracht sein.
• Zuleitungen und spannungsführende Kabel, mit denen
das Gerät verbunden ist, auf Bruchstellen oder Isolati-
onsfehler prüfen. Bei Feststellung eines Fehlers oder bei
sichtbaren Schäden darf das Gerät nicht in Betrieb ge-
nommen werden.
• Es ist zu beachten, dass Bedien- oder Anschlussfehler
außerhalb des Einflussbereichs der Gardigo liegen und
für daraus resultierende Schäden keinerlei Haftung über-
nommen werden kann.
• In jedem Fall ist zu prüfen, ob das Gerät für den jeweiligen
Einsatzort geeignet ist.
12. Garantie
Die Gewährleistung umfasst die Beseitigung aller Mängel,
die auf nicht einwandfreies Material oder Fabrikations-
fehler zurückzuführen sind. Da Gardigo keinen Einfluss auf
die richtige und sachgemäße Montage oder Bedienung hat,
kann verständlicherweise nur die Gewähr der Vollständigkeit
und einwandfreien Beschaffenheit übernommen werden.
Es wird weder eine Gewähr noch Haftung für Schäden oder
Folgeschäden im Zusammenhang mit diesem Produkt über-
nommen. Dies gilt vor allem dann, wenn Veränderungen oder
Reparaturversuche an dem Gerät vorgenommen wurden,
Schaltungen abgeändert oder andere Bauteile verwendet
wurden oder in anderer Weise Fehlbedienungen, fahrlässige
Behandlung oder Missbrauch zu Schäden geführt haben.

following, we will explain the functions and operation of our

1. Scope of delivery
• Electronic flying insect killer with suspension ring and po-
wer cord

2. Product description
This electronic flying insect exterminator works without
chemicals and does not cause any environmental pollution
whatsoever. Bothersome biting and stinging insects (above
all mosquitoes) and small flies are attracted by ultraviolet
light. On the way to the light source, the insects are killed
quickly and hygienically by touching the high-voltage electro-
des, which are not dangerous to human beings.
3. Putting into operation
1. It is recommended to hang up the device 1.5 to 3 metres
above the ground. The blue lamp attracts flying insects.
Do not hang up the device too close to other light sour-
ces. Generally, the darkest place in the room that is to be
protected is the best. When hanging up the device, keep a
certain distance to persons and foodstuff in order to avoid
the insects coming too near to you. When using the de-
vice, close windows and doors if possible.
2. Do not hang up the device in front of an open window or
an open door as the insects do not stay in draught areas.
4. Switching on the device
By plugging the device into the mains socket of your house
installation the insect killer is operable.
5. Safety instructions
1. The device should be kept away from children and there-
fore be stored accordingly.
2. Only hang up the device on the suspension ring and never
on the power cord.
3. Hang up the device in a height where it is out of children’s’
reach.
4. The device is not suitable for use in agricultural buildings
such as stables, barns, etc. It is not suitable for use in
commercial enterprises like grocer’s shops, butcher’s
shops, etc. either.
5. The device is suitable for indoor use only.
6. Check the power cord for damages prior to each power
connection of the device. Damaged power cords or lamps
must be exchanged immediately by an appropriately trai-
ned, skilled person in order to avoid dangers.
7. Do not operate the device if it shows any damages.
8. Do not use the device for any other purpose than the in-
tended one.
9. Children shall not play with the appliance.
10. The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 and
above and person with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
11. The device is not suitable for use in rooms with easily in-
flammable liquids, explosive gases, and dust.
12. Do not touch the device with any objects.
13. Do not try to repair the device yourself.
14. Concerning cleaning and maintenance of the device please
make sure you follow the corresponding notices of this
manual.

15. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
Attention! Not suitable for use in barn, stables and
similar locations (fire danger)!
Attention! In its working condition the device ge-
nerates „high voltage“. Hang up the device on the
ring which is attached to the device, in a way that
the device is out of the reaching area of the hands.
Do not use, place or hang up the device within the
reaching area of the hands!
Warning: For environmental reasons outdoor use is prohibi-
ted because beneficial insects could be killed.
6. Cleaning
1. Always disconnect the plug from the mains first.
2. With the aid of a small brush, remove the dead insects
from the grid and the lamp monthly. A small amount of
soap suds may also be used (most proprietary household
cleaners are suitable for this).
3. Empty the detachable collection container on the undersi-
de of the appliance regularly (rotatable).
4. Detach the container carefully and remove the dead in-
sects. Then attach the container again.
7. Durability
The UV fluorescent tube constantly emits UV light which is
invisible to the human eye. After a long period of operation
(around 6 to 12 months, depending on daily usage) the UV
fraction of the emitted light diminishes, the attractive effect
on the insects is reduced and the UV tube must be replaced.
Since the reduction of the UV fraction cannot be determined
optically, it is recommended to replace the tube once per year
in order to maintain the optimum attractive effect. Defective
light tubes may only be replaced by authorised and trained
personnel.

The fluorescent tube should only be replaced by authorised
and trained personnel!

10. General information

11. Safety instructions
Important: Damage caused by not adhering to the operating
instructions is not covered by guarantee. Gardigo accepts no
liability whatsoever for any resulting consequent damages.
• The device should be kept away from children and therefo-
re be stored accordingly.
• Only approved extension cables should be used.
• Hang up the device in a height where it is out of children’s’
reach.
• In case of repairs, only use original spare parts, to avoid
serious damage.
• Repairs or other works, e.g. changing a fuse, etc. may only
be carried out by an appropriately trained, skilled person.
• Never carry or suspend the appliance by its cable.
• Protect the cable against oil, heat and sharp objects.
• Plugs and sockets must always be dry and must be moun-
ted above floor level.
• Check feed cables and conducting cables connected to the
device for breaks or insulation defects. If you find a defect,
or there is visible damage, do not use the device.
• It must be noted that operator or connecting errors lie
outside the influence of Gardigo and we cannot accept any
liability for resulting damages.
• Always check whether the device is suitable for the respec-
tive place where you intend using it.

Enviromental
protection notice
At the end of its life span this product may not be disposed as
normal household waste but must be disposed of at a collecting
place for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The
icon on the product, in the manual, or on the packing points to
this fact. The materials are recyclable according to their labelling.
Through reusing, material recycling, or other forms of utilisation
of old devices you make an important contribution to the protec-
tion of the environment. Please ask the local administration for
the responsible waste disposal centre.

2. Description du produit
Ce destructeur électronique des insectes volants fonctionne
sans produit chimique et n’engendre donc aucune pollution
de l’environnement. Les insectes piquants nuisibles (et tout
particulièrement les moustiques) et les moucherons sont at-
tirés par la lumière ultra-violette. En s‘approchant de la lumi-
ère, les insectes entrent en contact avec les électrodes sous
tension et sont ainsi éliminés rapidement et proprement.
Cette tension est inoffensive pour l’homme.
3. Mise en service
1. Il est recommandé, de suspendre l´appareil entre 1,5 et 3
mètres au-dessus du sol. La lumière bleue attire les insec-
tes volants. Ne suspendez pas l´appareil trop près d´une
autre source de lumière. Le coin le plus sombre dans la
pièce à protéger est en général le mieux approprié. Sus-
pendez l´appareil .éloigné des personnes et des aliments
afin d‘empêcher les insectes de s‘en approcher. Si possible,
fermez les portes et fenêtre lors de l´utilisation.
2. Ne suspendez pas l´appareil près d´une fenêtre ou d´une
porte ouverte, de façon à ce que les insectes ne se trouvent
pas dans des courants d´air.
4. Mise en marche de l´appareil
Branchez l´appareil à la prise électrique de votre installation
pour mettre le destructeur d‘insectes volants en marche.
5. Consignes de sécurit
1. Conservez l‘appareil hors de portée des enfants.
2. Suspendez toujoursl‘appareil par l‘anneau de suspension
et jamais par le câble électrique.
3. Suspendez l´appareil assez haut, afin qu´il soit hors de
portée des enfants.
4. Cet appareil n´est pas indiqué pour une utilisation dans
des bâtiments agricoles, tels que écuries, étables, etc. De
même, cet appareil n´est pas indiqué pour une utilisation
dans des exploitations industrielles, telles que usines ali-
mentaires, boucheries, etc.
5. Cet appareil est préconisé uniquement pour une utilisation
en intérieur.
6. Veuillez vous assurer, avant chaque branchement de
l´appareil sur le secteur, que la ligne électrique ne soit pas
endommagée. Toutes lignes électriques ou lampes en-
dommagées doivent être immédiatement remplacées par
un spécialiste, afin d´éviter des accidents.
7. N´utilisez jamais l´appareil s´il présente le moindre défaut.

pareil génère «une haute tension». Veuillez sus-
pendre cet appareil à l´anneau de suspension, de
telle sorte qu´il soit hors de porté. N´utilisez, ne
placez et ne suspendez jamais l´appareil à portée
de main!

6. Nettoyage
1. Commencez toujours par débrancher l’appareil. Déchargez
l’appareil de son électricité statique en touchant la grille
avec un tournevis.
2. Débarrassez la grille et la lampe des cadavres d’insectes
avec la petite brosse. Rajoutez un peu de produit lessive si
nécessaire (la plupart des produits de ménage conviennent
ici).
3. Videz régulièrement le récipient récepteur démontable si-
tué dans la partie inférieure de l’appareil (dévissable).
4. Retirez le récipient récepteur précautionneusement et
videz-le des insectes morts. Revissez ensuite le récipient
sur l’appareil.
7. Durée de fonctionnement
Les tubes lumineux ultraviolets diffusent continuellement
des UV invisibles à l‘oeil humain. Après une longue pério-
de d’utilisation (de 6 à 12 mois selon la durée quotidienne
d’utilisation) la part d’UV diminue dans la lumière diffusée
par l’appareil et l’attraction faite sur les insectes diminue. Le-
stubes UV doivent alors être changés. Comme la diminution
de la part d’UV n’est pas visible pour l’homme, il est conseillé
de changer les tubes une fois par an pour conserver un effet
optimal sur les insectes. Les ampoules usagées ne doivent
être échangées que par une personne qualifiée.

L’échange des ampoules ne doit être effectué que par une
personne qualifiée!

1. Contenido del paquete

2. Descripción del producto
Este exterminador electrónico de insectos funciona sin agen-
tes químicos y no produce ningún tipo de contaminación al
medio ambiente. La luz ultravioleta atrae a los molestos in-
sectos picadores (sobre todo, mosquitos) y pequeñas mos-
cas. En el trayecto a la fuente luminosa, los insectos son
exterminados de forma rápida e higiénica al tocar los elect-
rodos, que se encuentran a una alta tensión inocua para las
personas.
3. Puesta en funcionamiento
1. Es recomendable colgar el aparato entre 1,5 y 3 metros so-
bre el nivel del suelo. La lámpara azulada atrae a los insec-
tos voladores. No cuelgue el aparato demasiado cerca de
otros focos luminosos. El lugar más oscuro de la habitación
a proteger es, en general, el óptimo. Cuelgue el aparato a
cierta distancia de las personas y los alimentos para privar

a los insectos de la oportunidad de acercarse demasiado.
Al utilizar el aparato, cierre puertas y ventanas cuando sea
posible.
2. No colgar el aparato frente a una ventana abierta o una pu-
erta abierta, y que los insectos no se mantienen en el área
de atracción.
4. Encendido del aparato
Conectando el aparato al enchufe de red de su instalación do-
méstica, el matainsectos comienza a funcionar.
5. Consejos de seguridad
1. Este aparato no debe caer en manos de los niños. Por ello,
manténgalo en el sitio correspondiente.
2. Cuelgue el aparato sólo por el anillo de enganche y nunca
por el cable.
3. Cuelgue el aparato a una altura tal que siempre se en-
cuentre fuera del alcance de los niños.
4. El aparato sólo es apropiado para su utilización en const-
ruciones agrícolas como establos, pajares, etc. El aparato
tampoco es apropiado para su utilización en tiendas co-
merciales como tiendas de ultramarions, carnicerías, etc.

6. Compruebe siempre, antes de enchufar el aparato, que el
cable de alimentación no esté dañado. Los cables de ali-
mentación y las luminarias dañadas se deben cambiar en
un taller especializado para evitar riesgos.
7. Nunca haga funcionar el aparato cuando presente algún
tipo de daño.
8. No utilice el aparato para fines ajenos a lo dispuesto.
9. El aparato no es apropiado para su utilización en recintos
con líquidos fácilmente inflamables, gases ni polvos exp

6. Limpieza
1. Primero, desenchufar siempre el aparato de la toma de
corriente. Tocando la rejilla con un destornillador aislado se
descarga la electricidad estática.
2. Por medio de un cepillo, retire los insectos muertos de la
rejilla y de la bombilla. Si fuera necesario, puede utilizar
para ello un poco de lejía de jabón (la mayoría de los lim-
piadores domésticos son adecuados).
3. Vacíe regularmente la bandeja de recogida desmontable
que se encuentra en la parte inferior del dispositivo (gira-
torio).
4. Extraer cuidadosamente la bandeja de recogida y retirar los
insectos muertos. Luego, colocar de nuevo la bandeja de
recogida.
7. Durabilidad
El tubo fluorescente de luz ultravioleta emite continuamen-
te luz ultravioleta invisible para las personas. Después de un
funcionamiento prolongado (aprox. 6 – 12 meses según el
tiempo diario de aplicación), la proporción de luz ultravioleta
contenida en la luz emitida disminuye, se debilita la fuerza
de atracción de insectos y el tubo de luz ultravioleta se debe
sustituir. Dado que la disminución de proporción de luz ul-
travioleta no se puede percibir visualmente, se recomienda
sustituir el tubo una vez al año para mantener una fuerza
de atracción óptima. Los tubos defectuosos sólo pueden ser
sustuidos por especialistas autorizados.
8. Mantenimiento

2. Descrizione del prodotto
Questo ammazza insetti elettronico funziona senza l’utilizzo
di sostanze chimiche e non è inquinante. Insetti pungitori
fastidiosi (soprattutto zanzare) e moscerini vengono attrat-
ti dalla luce ultravioletta. Mentre si avvicinano alla sorgente
luminosa, gli insetti vengono annientati in modo rapido e
igienico attraverso il contatto con gli elettrodi sotto alta ten-
sione, che non presenta alcun pericolo per gli esseri umani.
3. Messa in funzione
1. Si consiglia di appendere l’apparecchio a 1,5 – 3 metri dal
pavimento. La lampada blu attrae gli insetti volanti. Non
appendere l’apparecchio troppo vicino ad altre sorgen-
ti di luce. Normalmente, il luogo migliore è quello più
buio all’interno dell’ambiente da proteggere. Appendere
l’apparecchio a un’adeguata distanza dalle persone e dag-
li alimenti per impedire agli insetti di avvicinarsi troppo.
Durante l’utilizzo dell’apparecchio chiudere possibilmente

finestre e porte.
2. Non appendere l’apparecchio davanti a finestre o porte
aperte, poiché gli insetti non si trattengono nelle zone di
corrente d’aria.
4. Accensione dell’apparecchio
L’ammazza insetti viene messo in funzione inserendo la
spina dell’apparecchio nella presa di corrente dell’impianto
domestico.
5. Istruzioni di sicurezza
1. Tenere l’apparecchio lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
2. Appendere sempre l’apparecchio solo tramite l’anello di
sospensione e mai attraverso il cavo.
3. Appendere l’apparecchio a un’altezza tale da essere lonta-
no dalla portata dei bambini.
4. L’apparecchio non è adatto all’utilizzo in edifici agricoli,
come stalle, fienili ecc. Inoltre, l’apparecchio non è adatto
all’utilizzo in stabilimenti commerciali, come aziende ali-

Attenzione! Non utilizzabile in fienili, stalle o luo-
ghi simili (pericolo d’incendio)!
Attenzione! L’apparecchio produce “alta tensi-
one” nello stato di funzionamento. Appendere
l’apparecchio attraverso l’anello posto su di esso in
modo da non essere a portata di mano. Non utiliz-
zare mai l’apparecchio, non posizionarlo né appen-
derlo a portata di mano!
Avvertenza: Rispettare le applicazioni dell’ammazza insetti
specifiche del proprio paese. Per motivi di tutela ambientale,
in Germania è vietato l’utilizzo all’aperto, in quanto potreb-
bero essere uccisi insetti utili.
6. Pulizia
1. Innanzi tutto, estrarre sempre la spina dalla presa di cor-
rente
2. Con l’ausilio di una piccola spazzola rimuovere gli insetti
morti dalla griglia e dalla lampada. Eventualmente è pos-
sibile utilizzare un po’ di acqua saponata (a tal fine è pos-
sibile impiegare la maggior parte dei detergenti domestici).
3. Vuotare regolarmente il contenitore di raccolta posto sul
lato inferiore dell’apparecchio (ruotabile).
4. Estrarre con cautela il contenitore di raccolta e rimuovere
gli insetti morti. A questo punto riposizionare il contenito-
re di raccolta.
7. Durata
I tubi fluorescenti UV emettono continuamente luce UV, invi-
sibile alle persone. Dopo un funzionamento prolungato (circa
6 – 12 mesi, in base alla durata d’impiego giornaliera), la per-
centuale di UV della luce emessa si riduce, diminuisce la forza
di attrazione sugli insetti e il tubo UV deve essere sostituito.
Dal momento che è impossibile percepire visivamente la di-
minuzione della percentuale di UV, si consiglia di sostituire il
tubo una volta all’anno per mantenere la forza di attrazione
ottimale. Le lampade difettose devono essere sostituite solo
da personale tecnico autorizzato.
8. Manutenzione
La sostituzione del tubo fluorescente deve essere effettuata
solo da personale tecnico autorizzato!

1. Obsah balení

2. Popis výrobku
Tento elektronický lapač létajícího hmyzu funguje bez použití
chemických látek a neznečišťuje tedy životní prostředí.
Přitahuje obtížný štípající a bodající hmyz (především komá-
ry) i malé mušky na modré ultrafialové světlo. Cestou ke zdro-
ji světla je hmyz rychle a hygienicky zabit vysokým napětím
na ochranné mřížce, které však není nebezpečné pro člověka.
3. Uvedení do provozu
1. Doporučujeme výrobek zavěsit nejlépe do výšky 1,5 až 3
metry nad zemí. Modré světlo přiláká létající hmyz dovnitř
lapače. Nezavěšujte výrobek v blízkosti jiného zdroje
světla. Obecně se dá říci, že nejlepšího efektu dosáhnete
umístěním lapače do nejtmavějšího místa v místnosti.
Výrobek zavěste v jisté vzdálenosti od osob a jídla, zab-
ráníte tak tomu, aby se hmyz dostal do vaší blízkosti. Při
použití tohoto přístroje zavřete okna a dveře, pokud je to
možné.
2. Nezavěšujte přístroj před otevřené okno nebo otevřené
dveře, protože hmyz se dlouho nezdržuje v místech, kde je
průvan.
4. Zapnutí přístroje
Přístroj zapnete zapojením do elektrické zásuvky.
5. Bezpečnostní pokyny
1. Výrobek používejte a uchovávejte mimo dosah dětí.
2. Výrobek zavěšujte pouze pomocí závěsného kroužku, nik-

3. Zavěšujte výrobek do takové výšky, kam na něj děti ne-
dosáhnou.
4. Přístroj není vhodný pro použití v zemědělských stavbách,
jako jsou stáje, stodoly apod. Není vhodný ani pro použití v
obchodech s potravinami, řeznictví atd.
5. Výrobek je určen pro použití pouze v interiérech.
6. Před každým zapojením výrobku do sítě zkontrolujte, zda
není poškozen síťový kabel. Je-li síťový kabel poškozený,
jeho výměnu svěřte odbornému servisu nebo podobně
kvalifikované osobě, aby se zabránilo vzniku nebezpečné
situace.
7. Nepoužívejte výrobek, pokud jeví známky nějakého
poškození.
8. Nepoužívejte přístroj pro jiné účely, než pro které je určen.
9. Přístroj nepoužívejte v blízkosti hořlavých kapalin,

10.Nestrkejte dovnitř výrobku kovové ani žádné jiné předměty,
ani se jimi výrobku nedotýkejte – hrozí nebezpečí úrazu

12.Čištění a údržbu přístroje provádějte v souladu s pokyny v
tomto návodu.

6. Čištění
1. Před čištěním vždy nejprve vytáhněte napájecí kabel ze
sítě.
2. S pomocí čisticího kartáčku odstraňte mrtvý hmyz z mřížky
a zářivky. Můžete také použít malé množství mýdlové
vody.
3. Vyprázdněte vyjímatelný zásobník na hmyz na spodní
straně výrobku.
4. Pootočením opatrně sejměte zásobník a odstraňte mrtvý
hmyz. Pak zásobník nasaďte zpět na lapač.
7. Údržba
Zářivka by měla být vyměněna pouze v odborném servise
nebo patřičně kvalifikovanou osobou!
8. Životnost UV zářivky
UV zářivka produkuje UV záření, které je pro lidské oko ne-
viditelné. Po delší době používání (kolem 6 až 12 měsíců – v
závislosti na denním použití) se UV záření oslabuje, čímž
se snižuje i efekt hubení hmyzu, a zářivka tedy musí být
vyměněna. Zářivku doporučujeme vyměnit vždy jednou za
rok, aby nedošlo ke snížení efektu lapače. Výměnu zářivky
svěřte odbornému servisu nebo kvalifikované osobě.

kwaliteitsproducten. Gelieve de gebruiksaanwijzing voor de
ingebruikname zorgvuldig door te lezen goed te bewaren.
1. Omvang levering
• Elektronische insectenkiller met ophangring en voedings-
kabel
• Reinigingsborstel
2. Produktbeschrijving
Deze elektronische insectenverdelger werkt zonder chemie
en veroorzaakt geen enkele milieuvervuiling. Lastige ste-
kende insecten (vooral muggen) en kleine vliegen worden
door ultraviolet licht aangetrokken. Op weg naar de lichtbron
worden de insecten door het aanraken van de elektroden, die
onder voor mensen ongevaarlijke hoogspanning staan, snel
en hygiënisch vernieti
3. Ingebruikname
1. Het is raadzaam om het apparaat op een hoogte van 1,5 tot
3 meter op te hangen. De blauwe lamp trekt insecten aan.
Hang het apparaat niet te dicht naast andere lichtbronnen.
De lamp werkt optimaal in het donkerste gedeelte van de
kamer. Hang het apparaat op enige afstand van mensen en
voedingsmiddelen om te voorkomen dat insecten in de bu-
urt komen. Sluit bij gebruik van de lamp deuren en ramen
zoveel mogelijk.
2. Plaats het apparaat niet voor een open raam of deur: insec-
ten houden zich niet op in tochtstromen.
4. Het apparaat inschakelen
De insectenkiller wordt ingeschakeld door de stekker van het
apparaat in het stopcontact te steken .
5. Veiligheidsinstructies
1. Het apparaat moet buiten bereik van kinderen worden
opgehangen. Bewaar het apparaat ook buiten bereik van
kinderen.
2. Hang het apparaat uitsluitend aan de ophangring, nooit
aan de voedingskabel.
3. Hang het apparaat op een hoogte op, waar het buiten be-
reik van kinderen is.
4. Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor gebruik in agrarische
gebouwen zoals stallen, schuren en dergelijke. Ook is het
apparaat niet geschikt voor gebruik in bedrijfspanden van
levensmiddelenbedrijven, slagerijen enz.
5. Het apparaat is uitsluitend geschikt voor gebruik binnens-
huis.
6. Controleer de voedingskabel op beschadigingen voor u
het apparaat aansluit op de netstroom. Beschadigde vo-
edingskabels of lampen moeten onmiddellijk door een
elektricien worden vervangen, om gevaarlijke situaties te
voorkomen.
7. Gebruik geen zichtbaar beschadigde apparaten.
8. Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend waarvoor het bedoeld is.
9. Het apparaat kan niet worden gebruikt in ruimtes met licht
ontvlambare vloeistoffen, explosieve gassen en stof.
10. Steek geen voorwerpen in het apparaat.
11. Voer nooit zelf reparaties uit aan het apparaat.
12. Neem de aanwijzingen in deze gebruiksaanwijzing in acht
bij het reinigen en onderhouden van deze insectenkiller.
Waarschuwing! Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor
gebruik in stallen, schuren en dergelijke (Brandge-
vaar)!
Waarschuwing! Als het apparaat is ingeschakeld,
ontwikkelt het ‘hoogspanning’. Hang het apparaat
buiten handbereik op aan de ring. Gebruik c.q.
hang het apparaat nooit binnen handbereik!
Waarschuwing: Uit milieuoverwegingen is het verboden om
het apparaat in de vrije natuur te gebruiken, omdat dan ook
nuttige insecten kunnen gedood.

6. Houdbaarheid
De UV-TL-buis straalt continu UV-licht uit dat voor mensen
onzichtbaar is. Na langduriger gebruik (ca. 6 – 12 maanden
al naar gelang de dagelijkse gebruiksduur) vermindert het
UV-aandeel in het uitgestraalde licht, de aantrekkingskracht
op insecten wordt zwakker en de UV-buis moet vervangen
worden. Omdat de vermindering van het UV-aandeel optisch
niet waargenomen kan worden, is het aan te raden de buis
1x per jaar te vervangen om de optimale aantrekkingskracht
in stand te houden. Defecte lampen mogen uitsluitend door
geautoriseerd vakkundig personeel vervangen worden.
7. Onderhoud
Het vervangen van de TL-buis dient uitsluitend door geautori-
seerd vakkundig personeel uitgevoerd worden!
7. Reiniging en onderhoud
Voordat u met reinigings- en onderhoudswerkzaamheden
aan het apparaat kunt beginnen, moet de stekker uit het
stopcontact zijn getrokken en moet eventuele restspanning
worden afgeleid door met een geïsoleerde schroevendraaier
contact te maken met de rooster. Aan de onderkant van het
apparaat bevindt zich een opvangreservoir voor insecten.
Door het reservoir linksom te draaien kan het worden verwij-
derd. Leeg het reservoir minimaal eenmaal per week.

9. Algemene instructies
1. Elektroapparaten, verpakkingsmateriaal horen niet in het
actiebereik van kinderen.
2. Verpakkings- en slijtagemateriaal (folie, versleten produc-
ten) milieuvriendelijk verwijderen.
3. Het doorgeven van een product dient met de bijbehorende
gebruiksaanwijzing te gebeuren.
4. Wijzigingen in het design en de technische gegevens kun-
nen mits productverbeteringen zonder aankondiging voo-
raf worden doorgevoerd.
10. Veiligheidsinstructies
Belangrijk: Er bestaat geen garantieaanspraak bij schade, die
ontstaat door de nietinachtneming van deze gebruiksaanwi-
jzing. Voor daaruit resulterend voortvloeiende schade is Gar-
digo niet aansprakelijk.
• Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend met de daarvoor voorzie-
ne spanning.
• Alleen gekeurde verlengkabels gebruiken.
• Bij evt. reparaties mogen uitsluitend originele reserveon-
derdelen worden gebruikt, om ernstige schade te vermij-
den.
• Een reparatie of andere werkzaamheden, zoals bijv. het
uitwisselen van een zekering enz. mag enkel worden uit-
gevoerd door een elektricien.
• Het apparaat nooit aan het snoer dragen of ophangen.
• De kabel beschermen tegen olie, hitte en scherpe voorwer-
pen.
• Stekker en stopcontact moeten steeds droog en boven de
vloer aangebracht zijn.
• Toevoerleidingen en spanningvoerende kabels waarmee
het apparaat is verbonden, op breukpunten en isolatie-
fouten controleren. Bij vaststelling van een fout of bij
zichtbare schade mag het apparaat niet in werking worden
gesteld.
• Men dient in acht te nemen, dat bedienings- en aanslui-
tingsfouten buiten het invloedbereik van Gardigo liggen en
dat voor daaruit resulterende schade geen aansprakelijk-
heid wordt overgenomen.
• In ieder geval dient te worden gecontroleerd, of het ap-
paraat geschikt is voor de toepassingslocatie.
