Plate metho d cannot be us ed. Choose w hich of the2 gl ue plates
is most suit able for you r helmet.

POSITIONINGTHE HYBRID MICROPHONE

Open
the liningbe tween the helmet’s inner padding.
Use the Velcro pad to hold the Hybrid Micr ophone in
place
. Attach the M icrophon e to the Velcro pad .

Adjust
the locati on so that the
microphone
is located o pposite
the
center of your m outh.
PLACING THE SPEAKERS
For best cla rity, place speak ers direct ly opposite
and close to th e ears. Helmet s with deep re cesses
may require pa dding to bring t he speakers clo ser
for ideal positioning. Optional speaker booster
pads are prov ided for this pu rpose.
Tou se, place the spea ker booster p ad between t he
Velcro pad in the h elmet cavit y and the speake r.

Attach Velcr o pads to inside of H elmet.

Cross the lon g speaker wire over t he center of
the helmet to en hance FM radio rec eption.
Using two speakers i nside the helmet may b e
prohibited in cer tain jurisdictio ns. If this is the case,
position both spea kers on one side of the h elmet.
CHANGING THE MICROPHONE TYPE
Removing:Before changing
the microphone, completely
remove the Audi o Kit and
backplate f rom the helmet .
Attaching: Rep lace the
screws to rea ttach the
backplate to t he Audio Kit
before reassembling on the
helmet and fully tightening
the screws.
POSITIONINGTHE CORDED MICROPHONE
Attach Velcro t o inside front of he lmet
The CordedMicrophone can be used with Full
face helmets only (not Modular helmets).
Some helmets with air vents may requirethe mic
to be repositioned if mic audio is aected.
REPLACING THE CORDED MICROPHONE SPONGE
A replacement co rded micropho ne sponge is
provided fo r future use shou ld you need it.
NOTE: The wire s to the microphon e are delicate. Avoid tou ching them.
