Lea las siguientes instrucciones atentamente antes de usar el producto. Guarde este manual
para referencias futuras o nuevos usuarios.
1. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Cuando use aparatos eléctricos, debe seguir ciertas precauciones básicas para reducir el
riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica y lesiones.
• Asegúrese de que el voltaje de red corresponda con el indicado en la etiqueta de características
del producto (220-240 V).
• La habitación en la que vaya a utilizar la freidora debe contar con un detector de humo.
• Use la freidora únicamente para los usos descritos en este manual de instrucciones. Cualquier
otro uso no está recomendado por el fabricante y podría tener efectos perjudiciales en la vida
útil del producto y/o la seguridad del usuario.
• Este aparato puede ser usado por personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales
reducidas, o con falta de experiencia y conocimiento si están supervisados o han recibido
instrucción concerniente al uso del aparato de una forma segura y entienden los riesgos que
éste implica.
• El aparato no debe ser usado por niños desde 0 hasta 8 años. Este aparato puede ser usado
por niños de 8 años de edad y mayores de 8 años si están continuamente supervisados.
• Mantenga el aparato y su cable fuera del alcance de los niños de edad inferior a 8 años.
• La limpieza y mantenimiento de usuario no deben ser realizados por niños.
• Supervise a los niños para asegurarse de que no jueguen con el producto.
• Desconecte el producto de la fuente de alimentación antes de moverlo, realizar cualquier
tarea de limpieza o mantenimiento, o cuando no esté en funcionamiento.
• No use el producto en exteriores.
• No sitúe el cable de alimentación bajo alfombras u objetos similares.
• Inspeccione el cable de alimentación con regularidad en busca de daños visibles. Si el cable
presenta daños, debe ser reparado por el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica de Cecotec para evitas
posibles peligros.
• No retuerza, doble, tense, o dañe el cable de alimentación. Protéjalo de bordes alados y
fuentes de calor. No permita que toque supercies calientes. No permita que el cable cuelgue
sobre los bordes de la supercie de trabajo o la encimera.
• No use alargadores, a menos que haya sido aconsejado por un profesional cualicado; usar
el tipo incorrecto de cable podría causar daños o lesiones al usuario.
ADVERTENCIA: no use la freidora si su cable, enchufe o cuerpo principal presenta daños, o si
no funciona correctamente, ha sufrido una caída o ha sido dañada de alguna forma.
• No use el producto en lugares potencialmente peligrosos, como ambientes inamables,
explosivos, con presencia de químicos o húmedos.

• Sitúe la freidora en una supercie plana y resistente al calor. No sitúe la freidora cerca de
fuentes de calor, lugares con niveles altos de humedad o cerca de materiales inamables.
• No hay piezas útiles en el interior de la freidora. No intente desmontar el producto.
• El aparato no está previsto para su operación por medio de un temporizador externo o un
sistema de control-remoto separado.
• No introduzca ni permita que sus dedos u otros objetos extraños entren en las aberturas de
ventilación o escape, ya que podrían causar descargas eléctricas o incendios.
• No encienda la freidora si no hay aceite en la cubeta.
• Se recomienda no mezclar diferentes tipos de aceite o aceites con diferentes calidades.
• La freidora está equipada con un termostato de seguridad que la apaga en caso de
sobrecalentamiento. Esto podría ocurrir si no hay suciente aceite en la cubeta.
ADVERTENCIA: no intente mover la freidora antes de que se haya enfriado por completo.
Podría tardar hasta 3 horas en enfriarse. Use las asas a ambos lados de la freidora.
ADVERTENCIA: no sumerja el cable, enchufe o cualquier otra parte no desmontable de la
freidora en agua o cualquier otro líquido. No exponga las conexiones eléctricas a agua.
Asegúrese de que sus manos están completamente secas antes de tocar el enchufe o
encender el producto.
• Desconecte la freidora de la fuente de alimentación cuando no esté en funcionamiento y
antes de limpiarla. Deje que se enfríe completamente antes de montar o retirar cualquier pieza
y/o proceder con su limpieza.
• No deje la freidora enchufada a la red eléctrica sin supervisión.
• No se incline sobre la freidora mientras esté en funcionamiento.
• No toque la supercie de la freidora mientras esté en funcionamiento, ya que podría estar
caliente.
• Las tareas de limpieza y mantenimiento han de realizarse de acuerdo a este manual
de instrucciones para asegurarse de que el producto funciona correctamente. Apague y
desconecte la freidora antes de moverla o proceder con su limpieza. Permita que se enfríe por
completo antes de limpiarla o guardarla.
2. ANTES DE USAR
• Saque el producto de su caja con cuidado y retire todos los materiales del embalaje.
Compruebe el contenido para asegurarse de que todas las piezas y accesorios están presentes
y en buenas condiciones.
• Ponga el mango del cestillo de freír en su lugar. El mango puede doblarse hacia dentro para
su almacenaje.
• Limpie la tapa, el cestillo, el ltro de impurezas y la cubeta a mano con agua caliente y jabón.

• Limpie el panel de control con un trapo húmedo y/o papel de cocina.
IMPORTANTE: no sumerja el panel de control en agua.
• Seque todas las partes de la freidora por completo y ponga la cubeta, el ltro de impurezas,
el panel de control, el cestillo y la tapa en sus respectivas posiciones. Asegúrese de que la
cubeta esté en la posición correcta; las marcas de capacidad mínima y máxima deben estar a
la derecha.
3. FUNCIONAMIENTO
• Retire la tapa y extraiga el cestillo de freír.
• Vierta aceite en la cubeta hasta alcanzar la señal de capacidad máxima.
• Tipos de aceite recomendados: aceite de oliva, aceite de maíz, aceite de cacahuete o aceite
vegetal. No use margarina o mantequilla.
NOTA: no enchufe el producto a la red eléctrica si no contiene aceite en la cubeta.
NOTA: no cierre la tapa mientras la freidora esté en funcionamiento.

hasta la posición deseada.
B. Cuando el aceite alcance la temperatura seleccionada, la luz verde se apagará (no añada
comida hasta que el aceite alcance la temperatura seleccionada). La luz verde volverá a
encenderse cuando introduzca comida en el aceite y se apagará de nuevo cuando el aceite
alcance la temperatura seleccionada.
C. Cuelgue el cestillo en el borde de la cubeta (asegúrese de que el mango esté correctamente
colocado y seco).
D. Ponga comida en el cestillo (los alimentos deben estar tan secos como sea posible).

E. Sumerja con cuidado el cestillo en el aceite caliente (el aceite podría crepitar cuando fría los
alimentos).
F. Cuando los alimentos estén listos, extraiga el cestillo y cuélguelo en el borde de la cubeta.
Deje que los alimentos escurran el exceso de aceite.
G. Apague el selector de temperatura y desconecte la freidora. Deje que se enfríe durante al
menos 2-3 horas antes de moverla o limpiarla.
H. Ponga los alimentos fritos en un plato cubierto con papel de cocina para eliminar el exceso
de aceite.
Es importante no cerrar la tapa mientras la freidora esté en funcionamiento.
Los tiempos y temperaturas en la siguiente tabla sirven como guía y deberían ser ajustados
según las cantidades o grosor de los alimentos y su preferencia.

Las hamburguesas de pollo o ternera podrían manchar el aceite y dejar un sabor que podría no
desear cuando fría otros alimentos.
Comida rebozada casera
Tenga en cuenta que si coloca la masa para rebozar húmeda en el cestillo antes de sumergirlo
en el aceite, la comida podría pegarse al metal.
Este método requiere especial atención:
1. Retire latapa yenchufe la freidora a la fuente de alimentación. Gire elselector detemperatura
hasta la posición deseada.
2. Cuando el aceite alcance la temperatura seleccionada, la luz verde se apagará (no añada

comida hasta que el aceite alcance la temperatura seleccionada). La luz verde volverá a
encenderse cuando introduzca comida en el aceite y se apagará de nuevo cuando el aceite
alcance la temperatura seleccionada.
3. Reboce los alimentos con la masa húmeda y agítelos suavemente para retirar el exceso de
rebozado.
4. Sumerja con cuidado el cestillo en el aceite caliente.
5. Con la ayuda de pinzas, introduzca los alimentos rebozados lentamente en el aceite.
ADVERTENCIA: el aceite podría crepitar cuando fría los alimentos. Cuando estén listos,
extraiga los alimentos usando el cestillo.
• La freidora cuenta con un termostato de seguridad que apaga la freidora en caso de
sobrecalentamiento. Esto podría pasar si no hay suciente aceite en la cubeta.
• No llene el cestillo en exceso, ya que podría causar una caída en la temperatura del aceite que
podría dejar los alimentos grasosos o parcialmente crudos.
• La freidora estará siempre lista para ser usada si la guarda en un lugar frío, con aceite ltrado
en su interior y con la tapa en su lugar.
• Cuando guarde la freidora con aceite en su interior, retire el mango del cestillo y guárdelo por
separado.
• Cocine los alimentos por completo. Recuerde que la comida podría dorarse por fuera antes
de estar completamente cocinada.
• Seleccione los utensilios de cocina con cuidado. No use utensilios que podrían fundirse. Los
utensilios de metal son conductores del calor y deberían tener mangos aislantes.
IMPORTANTE: Cuando use utensilios de metal, tenga cuidado de no dañar las resistencias.
• Su freidora tiene una capacidad máxima para comida de 800 g. Esta cantidad dependerá del
tipo de comida (ver la tabla más arriba). No llene el cestillo más allá de su mitad.
• Evite escurrir los alimentos durante mucho tiempo en el cestillo, ya que podrían hacerse
blandos y perder la textura crujiente.
• Cambie el aceite cuando se vuelva marrón o lechoso.
• Si hay gotas de agua en la base de la cubeta, debe cambiar el aceite.
• Cambie el aceite cada 15 usos aproximadamente.
• Todos los alimentos, especialmente los congelados y las patatas, contienen humedad.
Cuando los sumerja en el aceite caliente, el agua de dichos alimentos se evaporará.
• Tenga en cuenta la comida que vaya a cocinar antes de seleccionar la temperatura del aceite.
• Como norma general, la comida precocinada necesita temperaturas más altas que la comida
cruda.

4. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Retire la tapa (1), el panel de control (3), el cestillo de freír (4), el ltro de impurezas (15) y la cubeta (7).
• Vierta el aceite de la cubeta a través de muselina o papel absorbente colocado sobre un
embudo en un recipiente adecuado.
• Limpie la tapa, el ltro de impurezas, el cestillo de freír y la cubeta a mano con agua caliente y jabón.
• Puede lavar la cubeta, el cestillo y la tapa en el lavavajillas. Sáquelos del lavavajillas tan
pronto como le sea posible y séquelos por completo.
• Limpie el panel de control con un trapo húmedo y/o papel de cocina.
IMPORTANTE: no sumerja el panel de control en agua.
IMPORTANTE: asegúrese de no dañar los cables conectados a la resistencia mientras limpia
la freidora.
• Seque todas las piezas de su freidora por completo y ponga la cubeta, el panel de control, el
cestillo de freír y la tapa en sus respectivas posiciones. Cuando coloque la cubeta, asegúrese de
que está en la posición correcta, con las marcas de capacidad máxima y mínima a la derecha.
• Puede guardar el aceite en la freidora si se asegura de que la tapa esté correctamente cerrada.
Limpieza periódica del aceite con el ltro de impurezas OilCleaner.
Aproveche el ltro OilCleaner para facilitar la limpieza del aceite y de la freidora. Los restos
de fritura y las impurezas se depositan en la parte inferior cuando el aceite se enfría.
Extrayendo este ltro, recogemos estos restos y mantenemos el aceite limpio por más tiempo,
minimizando así la mezcla de sabores.
Nota: Espere a que el aceite y la resitencia se enfríen antes de realizar este proceso.
1. Con la freidora desenchufada, retire la tapa y el cestillo y lávelos a parte.
2. Extraiga la resistencia desplazándola hacia arriba con cuidado de evitar desbordamientos.
3. Extraiga el ltro OilCleaner de la resistencia desplazándolo en el sentido de la misma hacia
delante.
4. Lave el ltro OilCleaner con agua caliente y jabón y séquelo. También se puede lavar en
lavavajillas.
5. Vuelva a colocar el ltro OilCleaner en la resistencia, desplanzandolo en el sentido contrario
al que usó para retirarlo.
6. Introduzca la resistencia con el ltro OilCleaner en la freidora. Ya está lista para usarse.

6. RECICLAJE DE ELECTRODOMÉSTICOS
La directiva europea 2012/19/UE sobre Residuos de Aparatos Eléctricos y
Electrónicos (RAEE) especica que los electrodomésticos no deben ser reciclados
con el resto de los desperdicios municipales. Dichos electrodomésticos han de ser
desechados de forma separada, para optimizar la recuperación y reciclaje de
materiales y, de esta manera, reducir el impacto que puedan tener en la salud
humana y el medioambiente.
El símbolo del contenedor tachado le recuerda su obligación de desechar este producto de forma
correcta. Si el producto en cuestión cuenta con una batería o pila para su autonomía eléctrica, esta
deberá extraerse antes de ser desechado y ser tratada a parte como un residuo de diferente categoría.
Para obtener información detallada acerca de la forma más adecuada de desechar sus
electrodomésticos y/o las correspondientes baterías, el consumidor deberá contactar con las
autoridades locales.
7. GARANTÍA Y SAT
Este producto tiene una garantía de 2 años desde la fecha de compra, siempre y cuando se
conserve y envíe la factura de compra, el producto esté en perfecto estado físico y se le dé un
uso adecuado tal y como se indica en este manual de instrucciones.
La garantía no cubrirá:
• Si el producto ha sido usado fuera de su capacidad o utilidad, maltratado, golpeado,
expuesto a la humedad, sumergido en algún líquido o substancia corrosiva, así como
cualquier otra falta atribuible al consumidor.
• Si el producto ha sido desarmado, modicado o reparado por personas no autorizadas por
el SAT ocial de Cecotec.
• Si la incidencia ha sido originada por el desgaste normal de las piezas debido al uso.
El servicio de garantía cubre todos los defectos de fabricación durante 2 años en base a la
legislación vigente, excepto piezas consumibles. En caso de mal uso por parte del usuario el
servicio de garantía no se hará responsable de la reparación. Si en alguna ocasión detecta
una incidencia con el producto o tiene alguna consulta, póngase en contacto con el Servicio de
Asistencia Técnica ocial de Cecotec a través del número de teléfono [phone].

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual
for future reference or new users.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions must always be followed to reduce the
risk of re, electrical shock, and injury.
• Make sure the voltage of your mains supply matches the voltage requirements specied in
the rating label of the appliance (220 – 240 V).
• The room where you intend to use the appliance must be equipped with a working smoke
detector.
• Use the deep fryer only for the purposes described in this instruction manual, any other use
is not recommended by the manufacturer and could have a detrimental effect on the lifespan
of the appliance and/or the safety of the user.
• This appliance is not intended to be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
and/or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
• This appliance must not be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by children
aged 8 or over, as long as they are constantly supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8.
• Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children.
• Children should be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains supply before moving it, carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance task, or when not in use.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not lay the power cord under carpets or similar materials.
• Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the ofcial Technical Support Service of Cecotec, in order to avoid any type of danger.
• Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any way. Protect it from sharp edges
and heat sources. Do not let it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang overthe edge of the
working surface or countertop.
• Do not use extension cords, unless advised by a qualied electrician; using the wrong type
could cause damages or injuries to the user.
WARNING: do not use the appliance if its cord, plug, or housing is damaged, nor after it
malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any way.
• The appliance must not be used in potentially dangerous locations, such as ammable,
explosive, chemical-laden, or wet atmospheres, nor near ammable materials.

• Place the fryer on an even, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the fryer near heat sources,
places with high humidity levels, or combustible materials.
• There are no internal serviceable parts, do not attempt to disassemble the appliance.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
• Do not insert or allow ngers or foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings,
as it could cause an electrical shock or re.
• Do not turn the fryer on if there is no oil in the tank.
• It is not advisable to mix different oil types or oils with different qualities.
• The fryer has a safety thermostat that turns the fryer off in case of overheating. This may
happen if there is not enough oil in the tank.
WARNING: do not attempt to move the fryer until it has completely cooled down. This can
take up to three hours. Use the handles at both sides.
WARNING: do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the fryer in water
or any other liquid, nor expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are

• Unplug from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool down

• Be careful not to touch the surfaces of the fryer as they will become hot when in use.
• Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according this instruction manual to make
sure it functions properly. Turn off and unplug the appliance before moving and cleaning it.
Allow it to cool completely before cleaning and storing it.
2. BEFORE USE
• Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials. Check the contents to
make sure that all the parts and accessories are present and in good condition.
• Attach the handle of the basket in its place. Note that the handle folds back and locks for
storage.
• Wash the lid, basket, lter, and tank by hand with hot soapy water.
• Wipe the control panel with a damp cloth and/or kitchen paper.
IMPORTANT: do not immerse the control panel in water.
• Dry all parts of the fryer thoroughly and place the tank, lter, control panel, basket, and lid
back in place. Make sure the tank is in its correct position and aligned correctly, the max/min
marks should be placed to the right.

3. OPERATION
• Remove the lid and take out the frying basket.
• Pour oil into the tank up to the maximum mark.
• Recommended types of oil: olive, corn, groundnut, or vegetable oil. Do not use margarine or
butter.
NOTE: do not plug the appliance into the mains supply without oil in the tank.
NOTE: the lid must not be closed while the fryer is being used.
A. Remove the lid and plug the fryer into the mains supply. Turn the temperature dial to the
desired heat setting.
B. When the oil reaches the desired temperature, the green light will turn off (do not add food
until the selected temperature has been reached). The green light will light up again when
food is placed in the oil, but will turn off when the oil reaches the selected temperature again.
C. Hang the basket on the side of the tank (make sure the handle is locked into place and dry).
D. Place food in the frying basket (food should be as dry as possible).
E. Carefully lower the frying basket into the hot oil (the oil may spit as it fries the foodstuffs).
F. When the foodstuffs are ready, raise and place the basket in its resting position on the side
of the tank. Let it drain the foodstuffs.
G. Turn the temperature dial off and unplug the fryer. Allow it to cool down for at least 2-3
hours before moving or cleaning it.
H. Place the foodstuffs in a dish covered with kitchen paper to remove any excess oil.

Chicken and beef burgers can taint the oil, leaving some taste that you may not want when
frying other foodstuffs.
Home battered food
Take into account that if wet batter is placed in the basket prior to cooking, the food may stick
to the metal.
This method requires extreme care:
1. Remove the lid and plug the fryer into the mains supply. Turn the temperature dial to the
desired heat setting.
2. When the oil reaches the desired temperature, the green light will turn off (do not add food
until the selected temperature has been reached). The green light will light up again when
food is placed in the oil, but will turn off when the oil reaches the selected temperature again.
3. Coat the food in wet batter and shake it slightly to remove the excess of batter.
4. Carefully lower the frying basket into the hot oil.
5. Using tongs, lower the battered foodstuffs slowly into the oil.
WARNING: the oil may spit as food is added into it. Once ready, take the foodstuffs out using
the frying basket.

• The fryer has a safetythermostat that switches the fryer off in case of overheating. This may
happen if there is not enough oil in the tank.
• Do not overload the basket, as it may cause a drop in the temperature of the oil that may leave
the food greasy or undercooked.
• The fryer will always be ready to use if it is stored with cooled and ltered oil inside, and the
lid in place.
• When storing your fryer with oil inside, remove the handle and store it separately.
• Cook your food thoroughly. Remember that food may start to turn golden brown before it has
been completely cooked.
• Select your cooking utensils with care. Do not use utensils that may melt. Metal utensils
become hot and should have insulated handles.
IMPORTANT: When using metal utensils, take care not to damage the heating element.
• Your fryer has a maximum capacity for food of 800 g. This depends on food type (see the table
above for more information). Do not ll more than half of the frying basket.
• Avoid draining food too long in the basket, as it may become soft and lose its crispness.
• Change the oil when it becomes brown or milky.
• If there are water droplets on the base of the Tank, the oil should be changed.
• Change the oil in your appliance after approximately 15 uses.
• All food items, particularly frozen food and potatoes, contain moisture. When lowered into
the hot oil, the water in the food turns to steam and escapes.
• Take into account the food to be cooked before selecting the frying temperature.
• As a general guide, pre-cooked food needs a higher cooking temperature than raw food.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Remove the lid (1), control panel (3), frying basket (4), lter (15) and tank (7).
• Pour out the oil in the tank through ne muslin or absorbent paper placed over a funnel into
a suitable container.
• Wash the lid, lter, frying basket, and tank by hand with hot soapy water.
• The inner pot, basket and cover are dishwasher safe. Take them out from the dishwasher as
soon as possible and dry them thoroughly.
• Clean the control panel with a damp cloth and/or kitchen paper.
IMPORTANT: do not immerse the control panel in water.
IMPORTANT: make sure the wires connected to the heating element are not damaged while
cleaning.

• Dry all parts of your fryer thoroughly and place the tank, control panel, frying basket, and lid
back in place. When placing the tank, make sure it is placed correctly, with the max/min marks
to the right.
• You may keep oil in the fryer if you make sure that the lid is properly closed.
Regular cleaning of the oil with the OilCleaner lter.
Use the OilCleaner lter to clean the oil and the fryer easily. The remainders from the
foodstuffs will sink when the oil cools down. If you use the lter, you will be able to remove the
remainders, keeping the oil clean longer and minimising the appearance of undesired avours.
Note: wait untilthe oil andthe heating element are completelycold before proceeding as follows:
1. Unplug the fryer, remove the lid and the frying basket, and clean them separately.
2. Remove the heating element raising it carefully to prevent the oil from overowing.
3. Separate the OilCleaner lter from the heating element.
4. Clean the OilCleaner lter with hot water and soap and dry it.
5. Attach the OilCleaner lter to the heating element, sliding it in the oposite direction.
6. Put the heating element with the OilCleaner lter in the fryer.

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE), species that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of

separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they
