2. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Lea las siguientes instrucciones atentamente antes de usar el producto. Guarde este manual
para referencias futuras o nuevos usuarios.
•Asegúrese de que el voltaje de red coincida con el voltaje especificado en la etiqueta de
clasificación del producto y de que el enchufe tenga toma de tierra.
•Conecte el producto a una toma de corriente eléctrica adecuada para soportarla potencia
del dispositivo.
• Este producto está diseñado para ser utilizado exclusivamente en el ámbito doméstico.
• Coloque el producto en una superficie seca, estable, plana y resistente al calor.
•Mantenga el producto alejado de fuentes de calor, luz solar directa, humedad y bordes
afilados.
•Mantenga una distancia de seguridad mínima de 15 cm entre el producto y la pared u
objetos inflamables como cortinas, ropa, tapicería, paños de cocina, etc.
•No sumerja el cable, el enchufe ni ninguna otra parte fija del producto en agua o cualquier
otro líquido. No exponga las conexiones eléctricas al agua. Asegúrese de que tiene las
manos completamente secas antes de tocar el enchufe o encender el producto.

•Asegúrese de apagar el aparato y desconectar el cable de alimentación de la toma de
corriente de la pared antes de proceder a limpiarlo o a cambiarlo de sitio.
• Distribuya el peso de los alimentos de forma uniforme sobre la parrilla.
• El peso máximo permitido por el producto es de 2 kg, asegúrese de no excederlo.
•El aparato no debe ser usado por niños desde 0 hasta 8 años. Este electrodoméstico pue-
de ser usado por niños de 8 años de edad y mayores de 8 años si están continuamente
supervisados.
•Este aparato puede ser usado por personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o men-
tales reducidas, o con falta de experiencia y conocimiento si están supervisados o han
recibido instrucción concerniente al uso del aparato de una forma segura y entienden los
riesgos que este implica.
•Supervise a los niños para asegurarse de que no jueguen con el producto. Es necesario
dar una supervisión estricta si el producto está siendo usado por o cerca de niños.

3. ANTES DE USAR
1. Saque el producto de la caja.
2. Retire todo el material del embalaje, así como las etiquetas y pegatinas del producto.
3. Utilice un paño suave y húmedo para limpiar la parrilla (4), la bandeja superior (7) y la ban-
deja recogegrasas (2).
ADVERTENCIA: al calentar el producto por primera vez podría producirse humo debido a los res-
tos residuales de la fabricación. Asegúrese de que la parrilla y la bandeja recogegrasas están
limpias y secas antes de poner el producto en funcionamiento.
4. MONTAJE
1
1. Coloque el producto en una superficie plana, estable y seca.
2. Introduzca la bandeja recogegrasas en el cuerpo principal del producto.
3. Coloque la resistencia dentro de la bandeja recogegrasas.
4. Ponga la parrilla sobre la resistencia y la bandeja recogegrasas y ajústela a la medida
deseada.

5. Introduzca las bandejas laterales en las guías laterales como se muestra en la figura 2.
Presione ligeramente hasta que estén bien fijadas.
6. Introduzca los petos perimetrales en las guías traseras como se muestra en la figura 2.
Presione ligeramente hasta asegurarse de que estén bien fijados.
7. Introduzca una de las patas inferiores en una de las partes del codo de unión y presione
hasta que esté fijada correctamente. Repita este paso con las 3 patas restantes.
8. Cuando estén todas las patas encajadas correctamente en la bandeja inferior, coloque el
producto sobre las patas superiores asegurándose de que estén alineadas con los agujeros
situados en la parte inferior del producto para garantizar la estabilidad del producto.
9. Introduzca las patas superiores en los agujeros situados en la parte superior de la bandeja
inferior. Repita este paso con las 3 patas superiores restantes y asegúrese de que estén
encajadas correctamente.

10. Una vez estén todas las patas encajadas correctamente en la bandeja inferior, coloque el
producto sobre las patas superiores asegurándose de que estén alineadas con los agujeros
situados en la parte inferior del producto para garantizar la estabilidad del producto.
5. FUNCIONAMIENTO
•Una vez que el producto esté montado correctamente, llene la bandeja recogegrasas
de agua hasta la marca “MAX”.
ADVERTENCIA: asegúrese de llenar siempre la bandeja recogegrasas de agua durante el
uso del dispositivo para evitar la aparición de llamas como consecuencia de la grasa de los
alimentos.
• Seleccione la temperatura deseada en el termostato:
• Temperatura media o baja para calentar alimentos.
• Temperatura alta para cocinar de forma rápida o para asar.
•El indicador luminoso de temperatura se encenderá al configurar la temperatura y se
apagará cuando el producto alcance la temperatura preconfigurada.
• Coloque los alimentos directamente en la parrilla.
ADVERTENCIA: no coloque platos, bandejas o papel de aluminio directamente sobre la parrilla.
• El tiempo de cocción de los alimentos variará según el grosor y el tipo de alimento.
• Se recomienda dar la vuelta a los alimentos durante el proceso de cocción.
•Cuando haya finalizado el proceso de cocción, recuerde girar el selector de temperatura
a “0” y desconectar el cable de alimentación de la toma de corriente de la pared.
6. RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
La resistencia incorpora un interruptor de seguridad que evita su funcionamiento fuera de la
bandeja recogegrasas. En caso de no encenderse la resistencia, compruebe la conexión y
asegúrese de que esté encajada adecuadamente en el bastidor.

7. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Desconecte el producto y permita que se enfríe antes de comenzar la limpieza.
• No coja o transporte el dispositivo mientras esté caliente.
• No sumerja el producto en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
• No utilice nunca detergentesfuertes, gasolina, abrasivos en polvo o cepillos metálicos para
limpiar ninguna de las partes del producto.

9. RECICLAJE DE ELECTRODOMÉSTICOS
La directiva europea 2012/19/UE sobre Residuos de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos
(RAEE) especifica que los electrodomésticos no deben ser reciclados con el resto de los
desperdicios municipales. Dichos electrodomésticos han de ser desechados de forma
separada, para optimizar la recuperación y reciclaje de materiales y, de esta manera, reducir el
impacto que puedan tener en la salud humana y el medioambiente.
El símbolo delcontenedortachado le recuerda su obligación de desechar este producto deforma
correcta. Si el producto en cuestión cuenta con una batería o pila para su autonomía eléctrica,
esta deberá extraerse antes de ser desechadoy sertratada a parte como un residuo de diferente
categoría. Para obtener información detallada acerca de la forma más adecuada de desechar
sus electrodomésticos y/o las correspondientes baterías, el consumidor deberá contactar con
las autoridades locales.
10. GARANTÍA Y SAT
Este producto tiene una garantía de 2 años desde la fecha de compra, siempre y cuando se con-
serve y envíe la factura de compra, el producto esté en perfecto estado físico y se le dé un uso
adecuado tal y como se indica en este manual de instrucciones.
La garantía no cubrirá:
• Si el producto ha sido usado fuera de su capacidad o utilidad, maltratado, golpeado, ex-
puesto a la humedad, sumergido en algún líquido o substancia corrosiva, así como cual-
quier otra falta atribuible al consumidor.
• Si el producto ha sido desarmado, modificado o reparado por personas no autorizadas por

el SAT oficial de Cecotec.
• Si la incidencia ha sido originada por el desgaste normal de las piezas debido al uso.
El servicio de garantía cubre todos los defectos de fabricación durante 2 años en base a la
legislación vigente, excepto piezas consumibles. En caso de mal uso por parte del usuario el
servicio de garantía no se hará responsable de la reparación.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for
future reference or new users.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the
appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
• Connect the appliance to an adequate electrical power supply which holds the appliance’s
rated power.
• This product is designed only for household use.
• Place the appliance on a dry, stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Keep the product away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity and sharp edges.
• A minimum safety distance of 15 cm should be kept between the product and the wall or
flammable objects such as such as curtains, cloths, wall hangings, tea towels, etc.
• Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any
other liquid, nor expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry
before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
• Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of
danger.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate
remote control.
• During and after operation, the appliance is likely to get very hot. Use gloves or other
convenient protection accessories in order to avoid burns and injuries.
• Make sure the appliance is turned off and that the power cord is unplugged before cleaning
or moving it to a different place.
• Weight must be distributed evenly on the grid.
• Do not exceed the product’s maximum load: 2 kg.
• The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by
children over the age of 8, as long as they are given continuous supervision.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Supervise young children to make sure that they do not play with the appliance. Close
supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.

3. BEFORE USE
1. Take the product out of the box.
2. Remove all packaging materials and promotional labels or stickers from the product.
3. Clean the grid (4), the upper tray (7) and the fat-drip tray (2) with a soft dampened cloth.
NOTE: Smoke might be observed duringfirst use due to residualwastes from manufacture. Make
sure the grid and the fat-drip tray are clean and dry before operating.
4. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
1
1. Place the product on a flat, stable and dry surface.
2. Introduce the fat-drip tray in the product’s main body.
3. Place the heating elements inside the fat-drip tray.
4. Place the grid on top of the heating element and fat-drip tray and adjust it to the desired
height.

5. Introduce the side trays in the side guides as it is shown on figure 2. Press slightly untilthey
are properly fixed.
6. Introduce the containment perimeters in the back guides as it is shown on figure 2. Press
slightly until they are properly fixed.
7. Introduce one of the lower legs into one of the tube connectors’ ends until it is properly
fixed. Repeat this step with the 3 other lower legs.
8. Once all the lower legs are fitted into the connector tubes, introduce one of the free tube
connector ends into the lower tray. Repeat this step with the 3 other tube connectors.
9. Introduce the upper legs in the holes situated on the top part of the lower tray. Repeat this
step with the 3 other upper legs and make sure they are properly fixed.

10. Once all the legs are properly fitted into the lower tray, place the appliance on top of the
upper legs, alignthem with the holes located in the product’s bottom part and fix it properly
in order to ensure stability.
5. OPERATION
• Once the product is properly assembled, fill in the fat-drip tray with water up to the
“MAX” mark.
NOTE: Always fill the tray with water during use in order to avoid the appearance of flames
due to food’s fat burning.
• Set the thermostat to the desired temperature:
• Low or medium temperature for warming foods.
• High temperature for fast cooking or applianceing.
• The indicator light will turn on when set and will turn off when the desired temperature
is reached.
• Place food directly on the grid.
WARNING: Do not place plates, trays or aluminium foil directly on the grid.
• Grilling time will vary depending on the food thickness and type.
• It is suggested to turn over foods during the grilling process.
• Once food is cooked, remember to turn the temperature dial to “0” and unplug the power
cord from the wall power supply.

6. PROBLEM SOLVING
The heating elements are fitted with a safety switch which prevents them from operating
outside the fat-drip tray. If the heating elements do not switch on, please check the connection
in order to make sure that they are properly fitted into the housing.
7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the product and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Do not hold or transport the device while it is hot.
• Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
• Never use strong detergents, gasoline, abrasive powder or metal brush to clean any part
of the product.

9. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE), specifies that old household electricalappliances must not be disposed of with
the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in
orderto optimize the recovery and recycling ofthe materials they contain, and reduce the impact
on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose
of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in battery or uses batteries, they should be
removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately.
Consumers must contact theirlocal authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct
disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
10. TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of
purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper
use, as explained in this instruction manual.
The warranty will not cover the following situations:

• The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten,
exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault
attributable to the customer.
• The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the
official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
• Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based
on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not
apply.

3. ПЕРЕД ПЕРШИМ ВИКОРИСТАННЯМ
1. Дістаньте пристрій з коробки.
2. Зніміть всі пакувальні матеріали і наклейки з пристрою, і його аксесуарів
3. Очистіть решітку (4), верхній лоток (7) і лоток для збору жиру (2) м'якою вологою
тканиною.
ПРИМІТКА:може з'явиться легкий запах гару або дим при першому використанні грилю,
це викликано надлишком мастильних матеріалів в процесі виробництва. Перед початком
роботи переконайтеся, що сітка і піддон для збору жиру чисті і сухі.
4. ЗБІРКА ПРИСТРОЮ
1
1. Поставьте пристрій на рівну, стійку і суху поверхню.
2. Встановіть лоток для збору жиру в основний корпус пристрою.
3. Помістіть нагрівальні елементи в піддон для збору жиру.
4. Помістіть решітку зверху на нагрівальний елемент і піддон для збору жиру і
відрегулюйте його висоту за вашим бажанням.

5. Вставте бічні лотки в бічні напрямні, як показано на мал. 2. Злегка натисніть на них
поки вони не зафіксуються на своїх місцях.
6. Встановіть захисні бічні екрани в направляючих, які знаходяться на задній стінці
пристрою як показано на малюнку 2. Злегка натисніть на них поки вони не
зафіксуються на своїх місцях.
7. Встановіть одну з нижніх ніжок в один з кінців з'єднувачів трубок нижнього лотка,
поки вона не зафіксується. Повторіть цей крок з 3 іншими нижніми ніжками.
8. Після того, як всі нижні ніжки встановлені в з'єднувачі трубок, введіть одну із зібраних
ніжок зі з'єднувачами трубок у вільний отвір в нижній частині нижнього лотка.
Повторіть цей крок з 3 іншими ніжками.
9. Вставте верхні ніжки в отвори, розташовані у верхній частині нижнього лотка.
Повторіть цей крок з 3 іншими верхніми ніжками і переконайтеся, що вони правильно
зафіксовані.
