2. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Lea las siguientes instrucciones atentamente antes de usar
el producto. Guarde este manual para referencias futuras o
nuevos usuarios.
•Asegúrese de que el voltaje de red coincida con el voltaje
especi cado en la etiqueta de clasi cación del producto y
de que el enchufe tenga toma de tierra.
•Este producto está diseñado para uso doméstico. No lo uti-
lice para  nes comerciales o industriales.
•Coloque el aparato en una super cie seca, estable, plana y
resistente al calor. Evite colocarlo cerca de bordes.
•Mantenga un espacio libre mínimo de 30 cm entre el dispo-
sitivo y la pared u otros objetos.
•Asegúrese de que el producto está correctamente montado
antes de utilizarlo.
•El aparato estará muy caliente durante e inmediatamente
después de funcionar. Utilice guantes o cualquier otro ac-
cesorio de protección conveniente para evitar quemaduras
o lesiones. Manténgalo alejado de sustancias y objetos in-
 amables.
•No sumerja el cable, el enchufe o cualquier otra parte del
producto en agua o cualquier otro líquido, ni exponga las
conexiones eléctricas al agua. Asegúrese de que tiene las
manos completamente secas antes de tocar el enchufe o
encender el producto.
•No retuerza, doble, estire o dañe el cable de alimentación.
Protéjalo de bordes a lados y fuentes de calor. No permi-
ta que el cable toque super cies calientes. No deje que el
cable asome sobre el borde de la super cie de trabajo o la
encimera.
•No cubra la placa con papel de aluminio, podría dañar el re-
cubrimiento antiadherente.
•No deje el dispositivo sin supervisión cuando esté encendi-
do o caliente.

•No utilice carbón ni otros combustibles con este dispositivo.
•Tire del enchufe y no del cable para desconectar el
dispositivo de la toma de corriente.
•Inspeccione el cable de alimentación regularmente en busca
de daños visibles. Si el cable presenta daños, debe ser repa-
rado por el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica o cial de Cecotec
para evitar cualquier tipo de peligro.
• Apague y desconecte el aparato de la toma de corriente:
- En caso de que no funcione correctamente.
- Antes de limpiarlo o de moverlo de un sitio a otro.
- Después de usarlo.
•Apague el dispositivo siempre antes de desconectarlo de la
toma de corriente.
•Mantenga el dispositivo alejado del agua. No lo exponga a
la lluvia, a la nieve ni a otras condiciones de humedad.
•Utilice únicamente piezas y componentes proporcionados
por Cecotec con el producto original.
•Desconecte el aparato inmediatamente y no lo utilice cuando:
- El aparato, la carcasa o el cable de alimentación estén
dañados.
- Muestre signos visibles de estar dañado.
- Se haya caído y sea probable que no vaya a funcionar bien.
•Preste especial atención a la colocación del cable y evite
que entre en contacto con las partes calientes.
•Deje que se enfríe por completo el dispositivo antes de
montar o desmontar alguna de sus partes.
•El aparato no debe ser usado por niños desde 0 hasta 12
años. Este electrodoméstico puede ser usado por niños a
partir de 12 años de edad si están continuamente supervi-
sados.
•Este producto puede ser usado por niños/as de a partir de
12 años y personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales
o mentales reducidas, o con falta de experiencia y cono-
cimiento si están supervisados o han recibido instrucción
concerniente al uso del aparato de una forma segura y en-
tienden los riesgos que este implica. No permita que los ni-

ños jueguen con el dispositivo.
•Supervise a los niños para asegurarse de que no jueguen
con el producto. Es necesario dar una supervisión estricta si
el producto está siendo usado por o cerca de niños.
3. ANTES DE USAR
1. Saque el producto de la caja.
2. Retire todo el material de embalaje.
3. Limpie las placas, la bandeja recogegrasas y la tapa con un paño húmedo y suave.
4. Seque la placa con un trapo o papel de cocina.
5. Ponga el dispositivo en funcionamiento sin alimentos y seleccione temperatura máxima
durante 3-5 minutos.
Aviso: al calentar el producto por primera vez podría producirse humo debido a los restos
residuales de la fabricación. Asegúrese de que la placa y la bandeja recogegrasas están limpias
y secas antes de poner el producto en funcionamiento.
4. MONTAJE DEL PRODUCTO
1. Introduzca los tubos de soporte en los agujeros situados en parte inferior del soporte de
la unidad de la plancha. Hay una pieza de  jación en el extremo del tubo de soporte,
alinéelo con la ranura de la parte inferior del soporte de la unidad de la plancha y
empuje el tubo hasta que quede  jo. Sonará un clic indicando que está bien  jado.
2. Utilice los soportes de la bandeja de comida para instalar la bandeja.
3. Instale la bandeja recogegrasas en el soporte y luego instale el soporte en el resto de la
unidad.

4. Coloque la placa en el soporte. Inserte el conjunto del regulador de temperatura en el
conector y baje la placa hasta que quede bien encajada en el soporte. El dispositivo debe
estar desconectado de la toma de corriente durante el montaje.
Aviso: la placa únicamente se puede utilizar con este soporte.
Nota: No destornille las patas de goma de debajo de la placa. Al retirarlas, se reduciría el hueco
entre la placa y el soporte, haciendo que se derrita el soporte.
5. Utilice dos tornillos m4x14 y arandelas planas de acero
inoxidable para atornillar el asa y la tapa en el sentido de las
agujas del reloj.
6. Conecte el cable de alimentación a una toma de corriente.
Asegúrese de que el producto está correctamente montado
antes de utilizarlo.
7. Si no desea utilizar la barbacoa con las patas, monte la placa
en el soporte y conecte el cable de alimentación.
5. FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Conecte el dispositivo a la toma de corriente.
2. Seleccione el nivel de temperatura deseado con el regulador de temperatura. Hay 5
ajustes de temperatura, de 1 (baja) a 5 (alta).
3. El producto alcanza una temperatura máxima de 215 +/- 25 ºC con tapa y de 195 +/- 25
ºC sin tapa.

Nota: Suele tardar alrededor de 3 minutos en precalentarse. Tarda menos tiempo en preca-
lentar con la tapa puesta.
4. El indicador luminoso de temperatura se apagará tan pronto como se alcance la
temperatura seleccionada.
5. Coloque los alimentos que desea asar sobre la placa.
6. Para apagar el dispositivo, gire el regulador de temperatura hasta la posición de mínimo
y luego desconéctelo de la toma de corriente.
USO EN EL INTERIOR O EN EL EXTERIOR
La barbacoa también se puede utilizar en el interior de la vivienda a modo de plancha.
• Si va a utilizarla dentro de casa, asegúrese de colocarla a 30 cm de paredes u otros
objetos.
• Para extraer la plancha de sobremesa del resto de la unidad, agarre la plancha por el asa
y tire de ella hacia arriba.
• Colóquela sobre una super cie resistente al calor.
Nota: no se recomienda utilizar la tapa si va a cocinar dentro de casa.
CONSEJOS PARA COCINAR EN LA BARBACOA
• Utilice siempre pinzas para darle lavuelta a los alimentos. Al utilizar untenedor para girar
los alimentos, estos podrían secarse y podría dañarse el recubrimiento antiadherente.
• No es necesario darle la vuelta a la carne o al pescado más de una vez durante el proceso
de asado. Al darle más vueltas, los alimentos se secan más.

• Si los alimentos se quedan pegados a la placa, utilice papel de cocina empapado en aceite
de vez en cuando para limpiarla.
6. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Apague, desconecte el producto y deje que se enfríe antes de proceder con su limpieza.
• Extraiga el regulador de temperatura y el cable del dispositivo.
• Limpie el asa con un paño húmedo.
• Para limpiar salpicaduras de grasa, utilice un producto de limpieza suave.
• No sumerja el producto en agua ni cualquier otro líquido.
• No utilice nunca detergentes fuertes, gasolina, abrasivos en polvo o cepillos metálicos
para limpiar ninguna de las partes del electrodoméstico.
• No coja ni transporte el dispositivo mientras está caliente.
• Si el dispositivo no se va a utilizar en mucho tiempo, protéjalo del polvo y de la suciedad.
Séquelo a fondo y envuélvalo en plástico o guárdelo en su caja original.
• Guárdelo en un lugar fresco y seco.
• La placa y la bandeja recogegrasas se pueden lavar en el lavavajillas.

8. RECICLAJE DE ELECTRODOMÉSTICOS
La directiva europea 2012/19/UE sobre Residuos de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos
(RAEE) especi ca que los electrodomésticos no deben ser reciclados con el resto de los
desperdicios municipales. Dichos electrodomésticos han de ser desechados de forma
separada, para optimizar la recuperación y reciclaje de materiales y, de esta manera, reducir el
impacto que puedan tener en la salud humana y el medioambiente.
El símbolo del contenedor tachado le recuerda su obligación de desechar este producto de
forma correcta. Si el producto en cuestión cuenta con una batería o pila para su autonomía
eléctrica, esta deberá extraerse antes de ser desechado y ser tratada a parte como un residuo
de diferente categoría.

Para obtener información detallada acerca de la forma más adecuada de desechar sus
electrodomésticos y/o las correspondientes baterías, el consumidor deberá contactar con las
autoridades locales.
9. GARANTÍA Y SAT
Este producto tiene una garantía de 2 años desde la fecha de compra, siempre y cuando se
conserve y envíe la factura de compra, el producto esté en perfecto estado físico y se le dé un
uso adecuado tal y como se indica en este manual de instrucciones.
La garantía no cubrirá:
• Si el producto ha sido usado fuera de su capacidad o utilidad, maltratado, golpeado,
expuesto a la humedad, sumergido en algún líquido o substancia corrosiva, así como
cualquier otra falta atribuible al consumidor.
• Si el producto ha sido desarmado, modi cado o reparado por personas no autorizadas
por el SAT o cial de Cecotec.
• Si la incidencia ha sido originada por el desgaste normal de las piezas debido al uso.
• El servicio de garantía cubre todos los defectos de fabricación durante 2 años en base a la
legislación vigente, excepto piezas consumibles. En caso de mal uso por parte del usuario
el servicio de garantía no se hará responsable de la reparación.
Si en alguna ocasión detecta una incidencia con el producto o tiene alguna consulta, póngase

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
•Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage
stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall
outlet is grounded.
•This product is designed for household use only, do not use
it for commercial purposes.
•Place the appliance on a dry, stable,  at, heat-resistant sur-
face. Avoid placing it close to edges.
•Keep a minimum free distance of 30 cm from the device to
walls or other objects.
•Make sure the product is properly assembled before
operating it.
•During and after operation, the appliance is likely to get very
hot. Use gloves or other convenient protection accessories
in order to avoid burns and injuries. Keep it away from  am-
mable substances and objects.
•Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part
of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the
electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are
dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
•Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any
way. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not
let it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the
edge of the working surface or countertop.
•Do not cover the plate with aluminium foil, this could
damage the non-stick coating.
•Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on
or still hot.
•Charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not be used with
this appliance.
•Pull from the plug, not from the cord, to disconnect the de-
vice form the power supply.

•Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the
cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the of cial Techni-
cal Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of
danger.
• Switch off and disconnect the device from the main plug:
- In case of faults during use.
- Before cleaning or moving the appliance from place to
place.
- After use.
•Always turn off the appliance before disconnecting it from
the power supply.
•Keep the device out of the reach of water. Do not expose it
to rain, snow or other moisture conditions.
•Use only parts and components provided with the original
product by Cecotec.
•The appliance must not be operated (disconnect the mains
plug immediately) when:
- The appliance, casing or power cord is damaged.
- The appliance shows visible signs of damage.
- A fault is suspected after the appliance has been
dropped or similar.
•Payspecialattention to the positioning ofthe cord and avoid
it from touching hot parts.
•Allow the device to cool down completely before assem-
bling or disassembling any of its parts.
•The appliance is not intended to be used by children under
the age of 12. It can be used by children over the age of 12, as
long as they are given continuous supervision.
•This appliance can be used by children aged 12 and above,
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
•Supervise young children to make sure that they do not play
with the appliance. Close supervision is necessarywhen the
appliance is being used by or near children.

3. BEFORE USE
1. Take the product out of the box.
2. Remove all packaging materials.
3. Clean plates, fat drip tray and the grill cover with a soft, dampened cloth.
4. Dry them with a cloth or paper towel.
5. Operate the device at maximum temperature for 3-5 minutes without food..
Note: Smoke might be observed during  rst use due to residual wastes from manufacture.
Make sure the grid and the fat-drip tray are clean and dry before operating.
4. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
1. Introduce the support tubes in the holes on the grill unit’s bracket. There is a  xing pin
at the end of the support tube, align it with the slot on the grill unit bracket’s lower part
and push it until  tted into place. A click will indicate it has been properly assembled.
2. Use the food tray holders to assemble the food tray.
3. Install the fat drip tray in the grill holder, and then assemble the grill holder to the rest of
the unit.
4. Place the grill plate in the grill holder. Insert the temperature regulator set in the
connector and lower the grill plate until  tted into the grill holder. The device must be
disconnected from the power supply while assembling.

Note: the grill plate can only be used with this grill holder.
Warning: Do not unscrew these plastic feet under the grill plate. Removing the plastic feet
would reduce the gap between the grill plate and the base, which could cause the base to melt!
5. Use two m4x14 screws and stainless-steel  at washers to
screw clockwise the grill handle and cover.
6. Connect the power cord to a power supply. Make sure the
device is stable and properly assembled before operating it.
7. If there is no need to use the barbecue feet, just assemble the
grill plate to the grill holder and connect the power cord.
5. OPERATION
1. Connect the appliance to the mains electricity supply.
2. Set the temperature regulator to the required temperature level. There are 5
temperature settings, from 1 (low) to 5 (high).
3. The product reaches a maximum temperature of 215 +/- 25 ºC with the cover in place
and of 195 +/- 25 ºC without it.
Note: It usually takes about 3 minutes to preheat. Preheating is faster with the roasting hood
in place.
4. The temperature indicator light will turn off as soon as the
required temperature has been reached.
5. Place the food to be grilled on the grill plate.
6. To turn the device off, turn the temperature regulator to the
minimum position and then disconnect it form the power
supply.
INDOOR OR OUTDOOR USE
The barbecue can also be used indoors as a griddle.
• If the device is going to be used inside the house, make sure to place at a minimum
distance of 30 cm from walls and other objects.

• To remove it from the rest of the unit, hold it from the handles and lift it.
• Place it on a heatproof surface.
Note: It is not recommended to place the cover when using it indoors.
GRILLING TIPS
• Always use tongs to turn grilled food. Using a fork to turn the food will dry it out and
damage the non-stick coating.
• Only turn meat and  sh once during grilling. There is no need to turn it more than once,
as it dries food out.
• If cooked food sticks to the grill plate, rub the plate with a piece of kitchen paper soaked
in oil from time to time
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Turn off, unplug the product and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Remove the temperature regulator and power cord from the device.
• Clean the handle with warm water and a damp cloth.
• Fat splashes can be removed with a mild cleaning agent.
• Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
• Never use strong detergents, gasoline, abrasive powder or metal brush to clean any part
of the product.
• Do not hold or transport the device while it is hot.
• Protect the appliance from dust and dirt if it is not to be used for a prolonged period of
time. Dry thoroughly and wrap it in a plastic bag or store it in its original box.
• Store it in a cool dry place.
• The plate and fat drip tray are dishwasher safe.

8. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE), speci es that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of with
the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in
order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the
impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbolon the product remindsyou of your obligationto dispose
of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in battery or uses batteries, they should be
removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the
correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
9. TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof
of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given
proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
The warranty will not cover the following situations:
• The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused,
beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any
other fault attributable to the customer.
• The product has been disassembled, modi ed, or repaired by persons, not authorised by
the of cial Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
• Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based
on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not
apply.

Уважно прочитайте цю інструкцію перед використанням
приладу. Збережіть цю інструкцію з експлуатації в
майбутньому або для нових користувачів.
•При використанні приладу необхідно строго дотримуватися всіх
інструкцій з техніки безпеки.
•Переконайтеся, що напруга мережі відповідає значенню,
надрукованому на табличці приладу і що розетка заземлена.
•Цей прилад призначений тільки для домашнього використання. Він
не призначений для комерційного або промислового використання.
